    1) Visit http://www.StaffingReviews.com. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

i took my time and went over this site, i first noticed that it was very functional, at first i was confused, by the page as it seemed to be a company review site and as i spent time reading it became very clear the reviews were in vain with the site title, as at first seeing the names of some of the staffing agencies i was assuming this was off topic and i was wrong

the itemized sections of differing agencies off to the left hand side made the page easily navigated, and the overall design is sleek and competitive, if other such companies exist they would need to step up their game.

personally i worked trough a staffing agency and this page made me want to give my opinion on that experience
    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved?

like mentioned above, it was very easy to navigate due to the itemized list to the left hand side, i’m not sure you would want to change anything but in this world where gooey is the flavor of the day putting things in tabs or buttons instead of links in boxes wold give it a bore sleek presence
    3) Select a business category on the left or  from the dropdown on top (for e.g. New York). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process?
very as i spent a bit of time reading the ratings and comments from varying agencies and categories

    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

well for one as for my display, [Hospitality/Hotel/Restaurant] bled into the margins,  if you used a button presentation this would be avoided, outside of that i find it to be a very well designed web site

What is your initial impression of what you see? Website created for individuals to give reviews to staffing companys.
Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not? No Because to many information is crammed all into one page. The page is so long you have to scrow all the way down. Is not neatly Organized.
    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved? It is to crammed that it’s difficult to know where I can find what I’m looking for. Page should be shortened. And their should be more pages to click on on top page and the reviews should be categorized by Job Offer or Agency Offered Jobs.
    3) Select a business category on the left or  from the dropdown on top (for e.g. New York). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process? Clicking on the button and finding a Company to research was a snap. It was very easy to monuever throughout the page and the rating.
    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have. Some Images and videos would be nice to capture the audiences attention.

    1) Visit http://www.StaffingReviews.com. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
My initial impression is that I get a real sense of what your company is all about. I believe that many will find your service useful, as there is a strong need for quality staffing services among the hundreds of thousands out there.
I was immediately drawn to click the “State” drop-down list button because it’s where I would want to narrow down my search for nearby staffing agencies.

    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved?
I think that you have a great start here with the navigational ease of use. I do have a few easy-to-implement suggestions. Although, I was immediately drawn to select my state from the “State” field, I was unsure of what to type in the “Go” field. I assume it could be a company name, but I really don’t know for sure. I suggest that you add a title label above the “Go” field so that visitors won’t have to guess at what to input there.
Site visitors typically type from left-to-right, and from up-to-down. Because of this, I recommend that you rearrange the placement of the “State” drop-down list button and “Go” field. You could place the “Go” field and button to the right of the “State” drop-down list button. Visitors can then naturally click the “Go” button last instead of having to scroll back up in order to do it.
The white text directly underneath the navigation buttons at the top of the Home page looks blurry. I think it’s because the font has a shadow affect assigned to it. I suggest you remove the shadow affect from the font so that visitors can clearly see and read the text.
The right side of your logo looks like it’s been cut off. I recommend that you reduce its size to fit it on the page. Alternatively, you could make that entire area white and change the text font to a dark blue color.
    3) Select a business category on the left or from the dropdown on top (for e.g. NewYork). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process?
I clicked on the “But you can change that!” and from what I viewed there, the rating process seems like a very simple process.
    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Overall, your website is cleanly presented. Even though initially, I got a sense for what your company is all about, I feel that instructions near the top of your Home page would help visitors get the full experience of your site. You could, for example, add more verbiage; Further explain what your company is all about. State something like, “Welcome to StaffingReviews.com. Check our database first before you select a staffing company to assist with your next project. We make the process of finding quality staffing companies easier for you to do.” I would then include some instructions on how to use your website in place of the testimonial that you have at the top. Something like, “Just type in the name of a staffing company to get the latest feedback, and then click “Go.” You could also add, “If you’ve had a fantastic or other kind of experience and want to add a staffing company to our database, click “Add a New Company,” or “Add a New Review.” I would make it brief, but add some kind of instructional verbiage to the site to make it more user-friendly.
I also recommend that you place the “FAQ’s,” “Contact Us,” and other site links on the bottom of the Home page instead of up near the top. The footer area is common placement for those types of links.
On the Home page, I found that the reviews were difficult to read and create a very long page. I suggest you remove a majority of those reviews from the Home page, and instead, place a link where visitors can click on to read more. I also found that I didn’t know what to look in the reviews because they aren’t in alphabetical order. I also recommend that you put them all together, and sort then in alphabetical order by company name. That way, visitors can quickly view a company with its associated reviews all in one place.  I like the landing page that comes up when a visitor clicks on an industry. I recommend that you stick with that page format. It’s a good example of how all of the reviews could be listed because it’s easy to read.
Lastly, I recommend that you add letter-alphabetical links from A to Z on the Home page. That way, visitors can just click on the link, such as the letter “A” to quickly go to the business industries that begin with that letter.
I’ve enjoyed reviewing your site and I hope this helps.

    1) Visit http://www.StaffingReviews.com. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
My initial impression was that the page is plain. It does have a professional feel though. You can tell that the site means serious business because there are no kiddy graphics or blinking ads. There are a lot of words/text on the homepage. For the featured listings you can add a scroll bar for that little column so we wouldn’t have to scroll down the whole website. I also think you should limit the amount of reviews on the front page and have a ‘click to see more reviews’ link after the several listed reviews. The background of the site would look a lot better if it was blue so it would blend with the top part of the site, instead of gray. As for the plainness of the site, I’m talking about the layout, colors and fonts that were used. The fonts used are very common and there are so many fonts out there to choose from. It’d be nice to see something different, but still retain the professional feel. The logo looks perfect for the site. But I think it needs to stand out more, color wise. Maybe a bolder blue or a bolder orange. But other than that its perfect for what the site is all about.
    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved?
When it comes to looking for an industry, yes it is easy to navigate. The site is all about searching for a job at a company with good staffing quality. What makes it easy to navigate is how all the different industries are enumerated along the side of the webpage. Just choose an industry that you’re interested in then there you go! It can be improved though with less plain icons. I think it being listed on the side is okay, but you can try listing them on the top so we wouldn’t have to scroll down so much. Or you can have a drop down menu with all the industries listed in it for easy access as well. I like how it’s easy to find certain things like the ‘faq’, ‘contact us’ facebook’, etc as soon as you go on the page. Most sites have those at the bottom at the site but its nice to see it right away because stuff like that is important, especially for those who are new to the site. The only thing I was confused about at first was the reviews listed on the page. At first I was like, huh? Are these reviews about Prosource IT? Why doesn’t the the reviews mention the name of it? I think the whole reviews thing on the homepage needs to be clarified a bit.
    3) Select a business category on the left or  from the dropdown on top (for e.g. New York). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process?
Very easy process. Click on a business category you’re interested in, click on a company listed on the page, and then you’ll see general info about the company then you’ll see what people have to say about the company as well. Same with the drop down menu. It’s easy because its a lot more specific when you search for a state (same goes with the industry). You’ll know what listings are available in your area.
    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Generally I think the whole idea of the site is a great one! We need more sites like this around especially since there’s a lot of people who are looking for jobs. I’ve made several suggestions along with my answers to the previous questions. With some sprucing up and a little more organization of the layout and the site itself, I think it would attract more people to checking the site out. (It doesn’t have to go all out, simplicity is the key. Simple. but attractive and professional is nice.) As of now the listings are very limited in some industries (some don’t have any listings at all), but I think once Staffing Reviews spreads and more companies/people hear about the site then it’d become a huge success. Once more people know about Staffing Reviews, more companies will be added and more reviews will start to flood in. I do believe Staffing Reviews has great potential accomplishing the mission of the site. And it will help a lot of people as well. Looking forward to seeing the growth of http://www.StaffingReviews.com!

    1) Visit http://www.StaffingReviews.com. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
At first the website looks quite simple and straight forward. I understand it is a solution website to help people filter out who to use finding their next job or if there is a job posted that they use the right staffing company to better their chances. All the adds along the side are recruitment companies yet in the little testimonial the funders of the website tell about a bad experience with the actual company he worked for. I got a bit puzzled and was not clear if this website review Companies or staffing companies (meaning recruitment companies) or both. After reading a couple of revies it became more clear that it can be both. There were enough info in the first page to keep me interested and busy. However I suggest you put a go to the top button at the bottom and also a couple of links like all other webpages normally have. You lost me there as I had to scroll all the way up again. I wanted to press some buttons when I reached the bottom but found none and in the prosess of coming to the top I lost interest in the site. The lay out is simple and clean.
I find it hard to believe that there are so many different staffing companies as there is categories. Yes different staffing companies recruit for different industries so I guess it is possible, but I would not put that on the site bar but rather create a little frenzy between current companies to place them in order of popularity and those with the most reviews. Thus will increase companies listed with you and also make your website much more important to be on. Something like trip advisor. Would also change the social buttons and make it mote interesting by adding the facebook like button with the amount of likes. This will also help you to better market your site. In all your site is very neutral and does not look like they truly want to help the jobseeker sift out the best from the worse. I guess they are afraid of law suits ect.
    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved?
As mentioned the bottom of the website seriously needs attention. Also need links to current Policies and procedures. It really is a pain to scroll so far and you will definitely loose quite a few visitors to that. The category button on the right hand site can also be improved and made more interesting. Instead of only Business Categories you can add. Professional or full time, part time and also Volunteer. Not all people look for full time jobs
Your main logo needs a link back to the main page as it is very frustrating to each time have the hit the back button 3 times when you are on another page in the site.
    3) Select a business category on the left or  from the dropdown on top (for e.g. New York). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process?
I selected advertising and was amazed to find none as this is one of the biggest industries for jobs. Looks like the site is very new. The process was simple enough just a bit worried that you do not have to verify that you are human by typing a word in a box displayed. This can make you open to false reviews that was not placed by humans.
    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
All in all your website seems to fulfill its purpose and give people a chance to get to know companies better. I would however be much more focused on the actual people using it. Normally these type of people are currently seeking the better job and would like to use the most professional company that will best put them forward. Very little is done to make the choice of such a company easier. I guess where a position is posted you will see with staffing company placed the add and then come to staffing reviews to see if it is a good company to use. Currently there are very little companies listed on your website and I suggest you need to become an industry leader that has reviews on all current staffing companies and more basic info about them. Even a link to their homepage would do. If simple facts like how old they are, how many placements they have done and in what state they are operating would give much more value to your visitors.
In a nutshell staffing reviews looks too fresh for the internet and does not offer enough important info to convince first time users that they should be bookmarked. Also lack a newsletter and RSS feed. There is no buzz to be found and reviews does not give enough info about the companies to make a decision about them. A Facebook like button can be a plus to be added to each review thus sharing the site much faster and give the user a quick chance to give an opinion.
The plus for staffingreviews is that it is a much needed site and with time can become very valuable to users.
Hope this review will help you to a brighter future on the www :)

    1) Visit http://www.StaffingReviews.com. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
Very clearly this is a website that employers and job seekers can check out the viability of staffing agencies.
While I am extremely appreciative of the concept for your website, it is not designed well for inviting people to stay and explore.
It is simultaneously both busy and monotonous.
    * There are multiple feature points, so my eyes don’t know where to look.
    * Blue is the extremely dominant color “above the fold”/scroll. Almost everything is in the same shade.
    * There are no graphics to draw me in.
    * There is no bold statement, statistic, question to draw me in. I would prefer to see this on the upper right-hand side. If you don’t grab the visitor’s interest, they are not going to want to search for a company, write a review, or read. Yes, there is part of a review just below. I suggest that you keep this to a few choice words—think Twitter. And complete the entire thought. Don’t pull me off the home page before I get acclimated.
    * There is nothing here to tell me why I should care.
Also I am curious as to what featured companies are and I think many visitors would be. Does it mean that these companies have received extremely good reviews? Or did these companies pay to be listed on the home page?
    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved?
Yes, the site is easy to navigate. The field at the top has a button to the right that says “Go.” But there is nothing to indicate what to type into that field. The words “Staffing Companies” appear right above the field, so maybe this box is for staffing companies. However, it looks like “Staff companies” goes with “find rate and review.”
    3) Select a business category on the left or  from the dropdown on top (for e.g. New York). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process?
The business categories are almost alphabetized, but not quite. “Automotive” is all the way down in the “M’s.” Executive assistants are going to be looking under administrative, which doesn’t exist. They could totally skip by “Office/Clerical.” What is “Apartments”? Where would writers, graphic artists, etc. look. These are usually “Creative” or “Artistic.” There are better ways listing business categories and sub-categories. If you haven’t already, you may want to check out some job sites to see how they do it.
Also, people might want to select staffing agencies by whether they do: temp employees only, temp-to-hire, contract workers, etc.
    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I temped for a number of years as a career and would have been very appreciative of such a site. While many agencies are very good at making placements, others are quite the opposite. Some require lengthy testing and never call. It is very helpful for both the job seeker and employers to have some indication of which agencies to utilize in advance.

The site was very easy to navigate, the website has a clean fresh look and the page is appealing to the eye. The navigation buttons were easy to find and easy to get from different job categories. The page was very quick to load, which that is very important because people become impatient when the pages take a long time to load.

    1) Visit http://www.StaffingReviews.com. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

Initial impression is that there is a lot to take in here. Several things to click on and it seems too cluttered. Hard to decide what to do. I wasn’t drawn to anything because I was a bit overwhelmed by everything. It is hard to tell what you all do…there isn’t much explanation. I feel this site will take a while to figure out. A bit frustrating.
    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved?

Again, it is overwhelming. I can figure it out, but it takes more thought than I would have expected. Make certain things stand out more to show what a person might want to click on. It will give the site more order and less chaotic feeling.

    3) Select a business category on the left or from the dropdown on top (for e.g. New York). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process?

Very easy. Minimal number of steps and lots to choose from. I really like this part! I think it was clear.

    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

I think you have a good product here, but it needs some fine tuning. Clear up all the clutter and give it a better layout. Have more info on what you all do at the beginning, don’t leave people guessing. Everything works well, but it needs a better layout.

    1) Visit http://www.StaffingReviews.com. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
My first impression is not good. I’m kind of disoriented. This is because there are so many colors, different font sizes and a lot of text. I don’t know where I should start reading.

    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved?
I don’t find the site easy to navigate. The “contact us” and “faq” Buttons should be underlined, so I can clearly see that they are links and clickable. There is too much content in the left navigation bar, it would be better if there would be something like subcategories, so it gets shorter. The contrast of light blue and blue at the “Business Categories” navigation bar is not good, because it’s hard for me to read it.

    3) Select a business category on the left or  from the dropdown on top (for e.g. New York). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process?

The process was easy. Didn’t have any problems.

    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Please reduce colors, text and font sizes. I think it’s too much, so the site is kind of irritating when first visiting.
I think it’s very important that links are clearly recognizable as links. This works with underlining or/and changing the font color when the mouse cursor is over the link.
Color contrasts should be strong enough. It’s hard to read the “Business Categories” navigation bar for people with bad eyes.

The first thing to catch my eye was the search panel at the top to search for companies.  I then read the caption below your logo to understand what it was the site offered. I enjoyed the left task bar for searching through the catagories. This was very good for getting right to what you wanted to.
    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved?

I really do believe it is. It is simple, straight forward and I believe will be great for anyone who decides to come whether they are internet guru’s or non-computer people trying to find jobs.

    3) Select a business category on the left or from the dropdown on top (for e.g. New York). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process?

The first category I selected, hotel/restaurant/ had only one company which was disappointing. My husband is in the industry and through the years always has recruiters calling so I know the companies exist. The rest of the categories, excluding advertising, seemed to have a good amount of companies to choose from.  Beefing up all categories for better service would be my suggestion.
    The rate/review process was simple.

    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

the featured listing on the right was great I thought and will make the companies themselves happy to see themselves on it.  I feel it is set up very simply, clean and usable.  Very great job. I would definitely use it for personal use if I ever needed it.

    1) Visit http://www.StaffingReviews.com. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

The site design makes the site appear like it was created in the 1990s and never updated. The stars, colors, and cutting off the upper right logo all make it look very unprofessional. I’m confused about where to click because everything seems pretty evenly weighted. It’s not clear to me what the desired path I’m supposed to take is. The review from “Regan Kohler” takes the most prominent spot on the page, where I would expect to see a summary of what you do instead of “news and notes”. The buttons int he “staffing companies” section are unattractive.
    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved?

I want to know which localities all the agencies serve in the search page. I also should be able to search by location.
    3) Select a business category on the left or  from the dropdown on top (for e.g. New York). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process?

It was unclear what name my review would be posted under when I hit “submit review”.

The buttons along the left side with industries are really ugly.

    1) Visit http://www.StaffingReviews.com. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
Upon visiting http://www.staffingreviews.com the first thing that caught my eye was the big blue header at the top.  After that, my eyes were not sure where to go! At a glance, there seems like an overwhelming amount of information on the home page. It only took a few moments to find where everything was located, however. My eyes finally landed on the “Business Categories” navigation bar on the left of the page. If there are any buttons I am drawn too, it would be these. This is most likely because of the navigation bar’s clean and simple layout. I’ve found that with many successful and appealing websites, clean and simple is the best way to go.
    2) Is the site easy to navigate? What can be improved?

After studying the site for a few seconds, I found it quite easy to navigate. I hope the search bar in the header is the main attraction, because that big blue space keeps forcing me to check it out. If this is the case, then I suggest maybe making the search bar more bold and attractive or simplifying the information around it that is also in the header. This way viewers are instantly drawn the bar and can start searching right away. The articles and columns on the rest of the page are aligned perfectly, but it may be a good idea to consider containing the reviews in a scroll box so that viewers do not have to scroll down all the way past the navigation bar and Featured Listings. As far as navigation goes, however, I don’t think any improvements need to be made.
    3) Select a business category on the left or from the dropdown on top (for e.g. New York). Rate/review a company listed. How easy was the process?
Staffing Reviews makes writing a review for a company easy and straightforward. I do not think anyone will have a problem with this. I do hope the company grows because some states I searched in didn’t generate a single result. Yes, navigation is simple, but there isn’t as many companies or as much information as I would like to find on the site. There are also plenty of results that are listed but have no reviews yet. I think StaffingReviews still has a lot of advertising to do, but I see great potential in the site. Speaking of advertising, it’s a relief to not be bombarded with advertisements and pop-ups, and http://www.staffingreviews.com is extremely clean in that department.

Overall, I think the site is laid out very well but maybe a few graphic design updates can spice up the appearance and thus draw more attention. Consider adding photos or other graphics. Not many are needed, but it would be nice to contrast all of the text information with a couple pictures of happy workers. More company listings and reviews are a must, but the information that Staffing Reviews does have is honest and trustworthy. One thing that I think would be very beneficial is being able to filter your searches. For example, someone may want to view companies from the highest rated reviews to the lowest. Other than these few suggestions, http://www.staffingreviews.com appears to be a well-working site with a lot of promise!
