1. First impressions:-Â
I liked the graphics with the skyscrapers although it made me feel a little seasick as the horizon is not level. There is a typo in the opening blurb - Look at ‘is’ instead of ‘us’. However, overall the homepage looked clean and professional and the wording was interesting enough to make me want to explore further into the website.
2. I entered an email as requested thinking that this would allow me access to the rest of the website. However all I got was a message thanking me for registering and asking me if I wanted to share this website with my friends. I’m disappointed as I was hoping to explore a bit more of the site. I genuinely liked your homepage and wanted to see more. There is no menu on the homepage or anything for me to search on to find the rest of the site.
3. I entered an email address when requested only because I thought that would help me get to the rest of the site. So I was ‘encouraged to’ (persuaded to) sign up under false pretences which is rather annoying. If this were a live site and that happened, I would not be encouraged to revisit the site. I like sites that are open and honest about what they are offering and what they expect from me in return.
4. The site I chose is http://www.businessballs.com This is a well established site that I have used in the past when I needed to find stories to use in staff training sessions. It is an excellent site and at the moment I prefer it to yours mainly because your site is still very much an unknown quantity.
5. I think your site has great potential.      Â
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
Very clean and minimalist. However, that is what works today. Simple is the order of the day. My initial impression is to continue with the experience and keep exploring. The background image is unique and inviting. The logo is unique and clever. The text is also minimalist and to the point. No fluff and very easy to grasp. I entered email info, but site appears to still be in beta.

2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
Entering and submitting email seems to be only function in beta stage. But, that portion works.

3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Yes, the site is inviting and offering a service free of cost. I like the idea of Share an inspiring story about a someone making an impact on my community and allowing the site to help get that buzz out there. Sounds reasonable to me!

4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I found https://your-story.org/ and https://getfluxed.com/?page_id=11
Nothing exactly like what is offered at 82Who.com
I did cross searches using Google, and Bing and was not able to find something very similar. I would go with 82Who.com simply because it is the only game in town as far as I can see.

Good concept, good message, good potential. Will watch for the formal launch and will try to use the service. I’m always interested in new online technologies.
