1) My initial impression of the homepage is that the purpose of your website is well diplayed. and the layout is well done.
2) I wasn’t able to find a FAQ section on the homepage. Many people find an FAQ section very important to look at before joining a website. Other than that nothing was confusing to find.
3) I am not encouraged to sign up because the premise of the site doesn’t not appeal to me.
4) I was able to find another website that offers the same service called http://www.mybucketlistonline.com, and I prefer them simply because they have an FAQ section on their homepage. They also have an about us section which I found to be very informative.
5) Overall I like the look of the site. It’s easy to navigate, and simple yet effective. I highly suggest adding a FAQ section to the homepage. It’s a deal breaker for most people when they’re trying to decide if they want to sign up for a website or not. Also, it would be beneficial to add an about us section explaining the purpose of the website, and some of it’s features.
6) I think the majority of your early adopters are going to be traveling enthusiasts. I think most of the members of fourm.virtualtourist.com would find your website useful.

Not so keen on the name but that’s a subjective thing. I’m familiar with the term Bucket list but the extra ly on the end looks wrong to me. I quite like the wood grain background and the design of the page. The tagline explains the intent of the site. It’s clear that I can sign in via my FB account or request an invite. I looked at the About page and this was clearly set out with an explanation of your goals.
 3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Not really. If I wanted to share my life goals with others I would already be doing so in person and wouldn’t feel the need to do so online.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I looked at Bucketlist.org which has a similar intent to your site. I liked the way Bucketlist.org provided ‘Featured’ and ‘Recent’ list of goals. Their tag list is also an easy way to access what people have shared on the site.

Hmm good question.
Perhaps some of the entrepreneurial sites that encourage young achievers. What about exchange programmes where people go to other parts of the world to participate in philanthropic programmes e.g. Volunteer service abroad (VSA) ?I’m guessing that different countries have different organisations that encourage high achievers.
Hmm… This is an interesting website. A site that you can list all of your achievements, etc? I can see how friends who do a lot of traveling might like to use this. I’m not quite sure what I think of it yet, however, it is an intriguing idea.
The homepage is unique. I like “handwritten” feature information. It gives a good idea of what you can do at the very beginning, without having to search for information.Â
I clicked on a user from the homepage to see their information. I am glad I was able to see what some people’s achievements were. I would not, however, like to have random people see my information. I would much rather have it private, only allowing certain friends to view my information.Â
I mentioned above that I like the simplicity of the feature information. I think it would be nice, however to have a link which took you to a place with more information. I was looking for detailed information and couldn’t find it.
It really is an intriguing idea for a website. Since it’s free and I can sign up with Facebook, It wouldn’t take too much to get me to sign up.Â
I did a search in Google for online bucket list, and checked out the first few entries.  Most of them were blah. There was one, however, that I really liked. It was My Bucket List Online. It was quite visually stimulating, and had a lot more information on it. I noticed that it had a blog section as well as a FAQ section which I really liked. If I saw these two sites side by side when I did a search (Bucketlistly and My Bucket List Online), I would be more inclined to go with the latter. They just have more persuasive and informative information.Â
I tried to sign up and discovered that I had to be invited to sign up? I thought that was weird. Again, I would be more inclined to sign up with My Bucket List Online.
After looking through the website, I still didn’t know what to think. The idea is unique, and I like it. Allowing total strangers to see members’ information, lack of information, and the difficulty signing up make me not want to sign up. It could definitely use some improvements. Since it is a neat idea, I probably will sign up if I can get invited.Â
Overall, I think it’s a great concept, but the execution needs to be refined. Â
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
At first glance, the site appears to be about sharing achievements. But after looking “below the scroll,†I see that it is also for tracking goals.
I like the scrolling achievements. When we see others achieving their goals, it gives us inspiration and motivation to achieve our own goals and dreams.
Your most valuable real estate (home page above the fold) is not being utilized to its full potential. What if there were a brief video introducing people to the site on the left and the scrolling achievements on the right. If organized well, there should still be space for people to sign in/sign up, which is frequently in the upper right-hand corner of membership sites.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I attempted to sign in using Facebook so I could see how goals are tracked, but wasn’t able to. It asked for my password and for me to re-enter the password, which I did. Then, it said that there were 2 errors on the page (there were not), and that I needed an invitation. This is confusing.
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
That all depends. Some people like to share their goals publicly. I do after the fact, but not so much during. If it were possible to select whom I want to share my goals with, then I might.
Another reason I might join this or some similar site is to help other members with their goals, even if that means cheering them on—something that does not appear to be offered on this site (at least, not yet).
If it had these features and others mentioned below, I would be more encouraged to join than I am now.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
The site I visited is http://www.bucklist.net. Overall, it seems to offer considerably more than your site and is more community oriented. There are groups and other ways for people to interact—i.e., to ask for assistance and to offer something in return.
There is no video on the homepage. There are no achievements listed on the home page as with your site, however, there is a link on the navigation bar that enables a visitor to see the public goals.
(And for one of the other reviewers, the is access to FAQs is included on the navigation bar.)
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I really like the overall concept of the site. Question: Do you have a business model for monetizing it? If you are interested, you most likely could turn this into a community site with a couple of different payment plans. And you would have to offer more, possibly including those items mentioned above and/or:
â–º A way for tracking goals (i.e., timeline, including photos)
â–º A variety of ways of sharing, requesting, and supporting each other

Your target market is probably similar to people who work with coaches and follow a variety of motivational trainers such as Tony Robbins.
Because of my field, I spend a large part of my networking time on LinkedIn. There are numerous groups on there for followers of Tony Robbins, Napoleon Hill, Stephen R. Covey. This might be a place to hang out, make connections, and invite people to your site.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
My first impression of the site was that it was outdoor-sy for the daring type of people. Which was also a fall back because the population isn’t exactly filled up with people who like to do much or can do much with their retirement time. I did think that the site was welcoming and it felt like it could be pretty addicting for those who want to show off.Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I actually had some difficulty in finding the Search tool on the website but after finding it was easily used and I was able to find out more about the website and what it provides.
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I was encouraged but only slightly I think testimonials would probably help out or perhaps seeing how some happy customers already interact with each other.Â
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I searched for another site and I found it to be too similar to Facebook and it didn’t have it’s own identity so with that I respected this site much more. I did like that they had ways to set up group events with new friends who share similar interest, kind of like road trips which could be a nice addition here.Â
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I couldn’t think of anything more to add except for what I said, although I did think the website used too much memory up and for a slower server it might be annoying.Â
6) Where do you think our early adopters resides? Any achievers, goal setters, adventurers, travelers specific forums you can suggest that you think the community may find the app useful?
I really couldn’t think of any on top of my head besides Facebook. Maybe people who just finished watching The Bucket List with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson would probably have an inclination towards this.Â
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
I like the overall design. The feed on the front page makes it look very interesting something I would want to get into. I like the theme and the way the page functions around other people all over the world accomplishing their goals.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I was trying to find out how to sign up. It says you need an invitation code but you can also sign up through Facebook. I tried to sign up through Facebook and I got an error page. Then when I went back it asked for my Facebook password. I didn’t feel comfortable giving away that information especially after it already asked for permission. I still wasn’t able to join the webpage so other than that I don’t know how else to add my own profile.
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Yes, I am very much encouraged to create an account. I like seeing what other people have done and maybe networking on how I can also achieve those things. I also like the premise of possibly meeting new people who share the same interests as I.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I prefer your company because it is a lot more interacting and engaging. It seems to incorporate Facebook well and should allow you to network better. I thought two other pages that were just not as professional.I also like the newsfeed on the front page it shows that the people are currently and actively engaging in these activities.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
The page is very professional and just needs a better signing process. I could not login and I was very disappointed.
6) Where do you think our early adopters resides? Any achievers, goal setters, adventurers, travelers specific forums you can suggest that you think the community may find the app useful?
I would just any exercise websites. Also websites that participate in biking, running, dancing, climbing, etc. any sporting communities were sporting websites are the kinds of people that are adventurous that would benefit more from this website.
