When you first visit the site, is it immediately clear what it is about? When i first visit, i get to know that this site is about stop bleeding but i doesnt know stop bleeding in which aspects. Then i saw the slideshow, which shown a kid having a nose bleed. Then i know that it is about to help stop nose bleeding. So, it’s quite clear toward whats the site about.
Is the site easy to use?
Yes, it’s easy for me to use. At least i dont feel it complicated.
Does it answer your questions?
Definitely, i know what the site about. I know what is the purpose. I know hw it works.
Please comment on various elements of the site. What do you like? What bothers you? Ur site is simple. Which i really like it. Because i dont like complicated site which have alot of contents in the home page. U have a audio and video explaination about ur purpose. Which is really nice. The video mayb u can make it 1+ minutes. If it’s too long people might be impatient to watch it. Seriously, i dont find anything bothering me in ur site. I been giving feedback for many site this is my first time i found nothing is bothering me in the site. Just the video it’s a little bit long. I can find what i want from ur site such as the product info, feedbacks from others who have used ur product before and the FAQ.
Is the video engaging?
Well, it’s not really engaging. It’s a little bit long and it’s doesnt convince me much on ur product after i watch the video. The video content is too simple. It’s not like a clear prove. U should record sometime who get hurt and someone open ur product pack and apply it to the bleeding part. That would give me feel more secure and trust on ur product.
Are you inclined to buy our product? Why?
i would like to buy one of this product if it is really works and doesnt have any side effect. With ur customers feedback it can gain confidence from visitor to buy ur product. but maybe u should guarantee something to the customers. Ur guarantee can make people feel that this product is not a joke or scam. It can gain more confidence from ur visitors.
Please share any other thoughts or comments you might have. ur products is good. U just need to convince and let people have confidence on ur products. U can add the contact us content feature about sending comments or ask question about the products directly in the home page. Place it at bottom. So people can direct ask question without clicking anything else. Save a click can save u a customer. Some people just lazy to click more. Also u should show ur medical approved statement at the left or right of ur home page. This can gain even more confidence about ur products from customer.

When you first visit the site, is it immediately clear what it is about?
Celox is about stopping the bleeding. However, upon the first glance and lookover, it is unclear if you are selling gauze, an ointment, or what exactly your product is. My eyes first see the pictures of the wounds being treated and wrapped. I think you should state “Celox Guaze” or “Celox ______” Be specific about the product(s) you are selling. If it is a line of products, then have the lineup on your homepage.
I see the lineup at the bottom of the homepage, but I really wish the lineup was closer to the top. My eyes need to see it when I first open the page. Right now, it seems like too much information (information overload) and my eyes don’t know which column to look at first. I really suggest having your product lineup first.
Is the site easy to use?
Yes. Your site is easy to use and it is straightforward.
Does it answer your questions?
Yes. At this point the main question would be how much does your products cost. It answers that question.
Please comment on various elements of the site. What do you like? What bothers you?
What bothers me is too much on the homepage.Â
Glitch/error: Under Turn On/Off Audio intro, the picture is not loading. All I see is an “x” .
Is the video engaging?
Yes. It shows application of your product in a wide variety of uses.
Are you inclined to buy our product? Why?
No. I don’t experience these kinds of wound in everyday life or on the job. If I had a more dangerous job, I may consider your products.
Please share any other thoughts or comments you might have.
I don’t know if you have done this already, but I think you should consider marketing your products and getting an order with the military. They buy large quantities. Is the military part of your target market?
When you first visit the site, is it immediately clear what it is about?
During the first few seconds of visiting the site, it is immediately clear what the site is about. I can clearly see that the site is about a product that stops bleeding. There is even a nice banner that resembles blood flowing that is a nice, non-obtrusive, touch.
Is the site easy to use?
The site is very easy to use, aside from one minor navigation issue. When you highlight Products, Technology, or News Room, you cannot click the titles to be brought to the first page, ie clicking Products and going to Celox Multi Packs. Other than a small navigation issue, the site is well organized and all the pertinent information is easy to obtain.
Does it answer your questions?
Once one gets into the site further, it is easy to find more information on how Celox works as a product. There is plenty of history, how it works, how to use, and even images to show that the user is using the product correctly. After reading the information on the site, it would be easy to take that information of research further if there was ever a need.
Please comment on various elements of the site. What do you like? What bothers you?
I like the overall theme of the page, it matches the product, while being clean and clear.
As for critique, I love the banner which simulates blood flowing. However, the footer is a bit grainy and it would be nice to have the footer be the “completion” of the theme. Near the bottom of the pages there is some text that could use a few pixels separation from the border above. For instance, on the home page the text, “The Celox product range. Easy, safe, and effective… in all environments” seems very close to the, “How Celox Works,” Section.
A small more cosmetic issue would be the “Buy Online” tab, since it does not follow the main theme of the website. The buy online tab is set to 715 pixels across for the entire page, while the rest of the site is set for 970 pixels. How it is currently set up, it almost seems like the main Celox site may not have full control over the buying system.
Is the video engaging?
First I would like to say the catch phrase at the beginning is ingenious for your product, “If you bleed, you need it.” The video itself is very engaging, though slightly hard to see since it seems a bit smashed. I had to open it up through youtube by clicking it in order to get the full effect of the video. Otherwise, the video itself makes me personally very tempted to try out the product, especially since I get that nosebleed issue every winter.
Are you inclined to buy our product? Why?
Currently I am truthfully inclined to at least try out your product. There is plenty of information backing up how the product works, as well as testimony and news information that shows it works. I watched the video after reading through the site, and the video pretty well sealed the deal. It seems very easy to use and effective at what it currently does.
Please share any other thoughts or comments you might have.
The site is well thought out and executed. The only issues are some minor cosmetic issues, which is a good place for the website to be in. Once the small spacing issues, the footer not “completing” the site, and the fluidity of the “Buy Online” from the rest of the site are fixed, the site will be finalized and ready for additional material in my opinion. Keep the theme simple and the website about the product. Very well done.
Edit: Just to help with where spacing seems to be an issue:
– The text, “The Celox product range. Easy, safe and effective… in all environments.” needs some spacing above to keep it separated from the border on most pages.
– The video on the homepage seems disproportioned and I needed to open the video through youtube to get the full effect. My screen resolution is currently 1280×800 if that helps.
– The, “<div class=”links”>” that say Press Release, Testimonials, Photo Gallery, ect, on most of the inner pages is not located in the same place on every page. It seems to be a navigation box for quick access to information, and should be in at least a similar location across all the pages. For instance, on the prods_nosebleed.html page it is on the bottom of the page.
Hope it helps.
Final Thoughts and Actionable suggestions:
Your first impression on the homepage needs to be improved: First, I don’t like opening up to 3 columns. I think you need to have your product line in the target area of the heat map, meaning the eyes need to see what you offer and why it is great. Next, underneath your product line, you need your testimonials from satisfied customers. Please remember that your homepage needs to sell your product, and that means you need to wow them.
I like the “Hospital and Battlefield tested” advertised. I like the “How Celox works” banner on your homepage. Here’s the problem. You have too much on your homepage, and your key elements are being hidden amongst the rest. You need to streamline your homepage, and move anything that is not essential to sell or make a great first impression to other pages. Testimonials need to be on the homepage. Your homepage needs to really sell your product, and I would strongly recommend that you tweak it to give your brand more credibility.

When you first visit the site, is it immediately clear what it is about? Yes, stopping the bleeding.
Is the site easy to use? It is very easy to navigate through the links and pages.
Does it answer your questions? No. Â I was looking to see if this was originally used in hospitals and if there was any information that led you to a link on the FDA website where the product is discussed.
Please comment on various elements of the site. What do you like? What bothers you? I do not like that when I clicked the link for Dr. Greene that it took me to his website and there was no mention of Celox on that page. Â When I did a search for Celox on Dr. Greene’s page my only result was “Celox Logo”. Â I clicked that link and got…a graphic of the “Celox Logo” Â Does Dr. Greene speak of Celox on this website?
Is the video engaging? The video would not load in Opera at first. Â Yes, the video was engaging.
Are you inclined to buy our product? I am not inclined to buy the product because it appears from the website that this is recommended for just everyday/common use. Â Not taking into thought that you can seal up infection inside the wound or even seal up an injury where some of that blood does need to escape. Why? I just do not think that it is made clear or what the “cautions” are on this product. Â This seems like something that should only be used by a medic in the military, nurse, or some similar field. Â Is there a reference on the site that gives support and recommendation to using this product?
Please share any other thoughts or comments you might have. Even though this does seem like it would be a very effective product to use in case of emergency, the site does not make me feel at ease to use it when I read how it works and what it contains. Â I had to go to the FDA website and read about what antibacterials were in the gauze and do some other research to make me feel comfortable about purchasing the product. Â Maybe you could place a few links from the FDA website on the Celox site. Â This might make the consumer more apt to purchase if they see verified information about these products.
When you first visit the site, is it immediately clear what it is about?
The site was immediately informative and clear. This site was about Celox. Celox is a white crystal granule that is poured on fresh blood and then you apply pressure to stop medium to severe bleeding. The most interesting thing about this site is that the product can be use any and everywhere there is a situation that has a great deal of people bleeding.
Is the site easy to use?
The product is very easy to use because, all you have to do is open the pack of celox granules and immediately apply it to a fresh would of blood and the granules will form a gel clot to bleend in with your red blood cells to stop the bleeding in 30 seconds or less. You also, have to apply pressure on the celox granules over the blood to immediately stop the bleeding.
Does it answer your questions?
I did not have any questions for the site to answer at this time because, the site was too clear to understand, read, and interact.
Please comment on various elements of the site. What do you like? What bothers you?
Â
I enjoyed viewing the entire celox website and did not have any difficulty with any of the various elements at all. The only part that I had found bothersome was the You Tube voice presentation regarding the celox products. When first clicked on the arrow point, I had heard two mixes voices of two people talking about the product at the same time.  Â
Is the video engaging?Â
The video was easy to use and very engaging and I did not have a problem at all using it.
Are you inclined to buy our product? Why?
Yes, I am inclined to at least try the product at the very least before I buy it, so that will influence my purchasing decision more better.
Please share any other thoughts or comments you might have.
I feel that this is a new and great product to at least try or buy. The product can be used by anyone such as the military, high school, hospitals, clinics, offices, in your homes or anywhere buy any one that is a mature and responsible adult. I also, like some of the bold and eye catching letters in the celex advertisments. The testimonials about the product was very interesting as well. I think it is also, one of the most amazing medical breakthroughs I ever ever heard of or seen.Â

When you first visit the site, is it immediately clear what it is about?
The large logo is perfect for letting the surfer know exactly what this site is about quickly – stopping bleeding. I find the red on white to be a real page-popper for this site. Loved the red band across the front that looks like little platelets floating around. As I scrolled down the page I immediately thought of easily portable first-aid kits. The long box near the bottom explaining how Celox works was extremely helpful and let me know that this was not a site where offering only band aids, but that this is a new product that actually promotes clotting. I would recommend moving that box to the top of the page, however.
I do not like having a voice-over talking to me when I visit a site. To make matters worse, I could not get the “turn intro on/off” link to work, so my only option was the mute button. I recommend putting the link to turn off the sound at the TOP of the page (more prominently, maybe with one of those little speaker icons) and then make it work.
Is the site easy to use?
The clear tabs at the top with their pull-down menus made navigation a breeze.
Does it answer your questions?
The only question I could not find the answer to was regarding side-effects. When I researched Chitosan on other sites I did find that the only known side-effect would be if the user were allergic to shellfish. Other than that, the many pages of well-organized reading material answered everything else.
Please comment on various elements of the site. What do you like? What bothers you?
I loved the pull-down menus and sidebars; the layout of the pages made the wealth of information digestible instead of leaving me feeling overwhelmed.
I didn’t particularly like the “buy online” page. I felt that the register/login links could have been more prominent and perhaps in their own little boxes (I also didn’t like that those links were repeated on the page – in a top menu and also after the “welcome.”). The login page itself I felt was a bit crowded and small – there was plenty of space on the page, so I’m not sure why the text is so small. The create an account page was fine.
The “browse by category” sidebar is great. All of the individual product pages were okay, but I was missing the red platelet bar that was at the top of the other pages. You could make that smaller on the product pages, but I think it helps the information to “pop.” In fact, I would use the same type of menu bar across the top of the product pages, just with different tabs (I like the tab size on the product pages) to keep the continuity of the site. Somehow the grayish blue bar and changed font didn’t do anything for me.
I always like to see a security seal on a purchase page. Easy to find on your site which was nice. Glad to see the lock at the bottom on the sign-up page as well (some sites only have the lock on the payment page).
Is the video engaging?
I’m not a fan of the video. You spent too much time saying that Celox saves lives (and trying to convince me I need it) before saying what it actually does (helps blood clot). Whenever a product promotion keeps pushing my need for it before telling me what it does I feel like I’m being manipulated. Even though it was easy to find what Celox does, I had to look for it, and that information should have come closer to the start of the video rather than 1/2-way through.
I didn’t like the change in voice-over from man to woman and the video was too long overall. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I’d wanted to watch the video before the intro was over…
Are you inclined to buy our product? Why?
Actually, I do plan to buy the product now that I know about it. My son suffers frequent nose bleeds and this will be a wonderful fix for that. Also, my dad is on coumadin, so this could be a lifesaver for him.
Please share any other thoughts or comments you might have.
Although I did not read all of the text on the various pages, there are a couple of grammatical errors in the paragraph under the video. (Its should read It’s and the last sentence is a fragment. Also, the word “instinctive” seemed odd to me.) My point in bringing that up is that I tend not to trust sites which display text that is grammatically incorrect. I believe there is no excuse for that kind of thing on the internet. If a company doesn’t care enough about English grammar in their product presentation to hire a good proofreader, then I am skeptical about purchasing from that site. Things like that definitely affect consumers.
Finally, I liked all of the link boxes on the left side, except the Dr. Greene box took me to a completely different site. I was thinking maybe he had something to do with Celox’s development, but I found myself looking at a pediatric site and couldn’t really figure out the relationship. If you must have it on the site, I would put it somewhere else and make it clear where it’s going to take the surfer.

When you first visit the site, is it immediately clear what it is about?
It is immediately clear that the website is selling the Celox to help stop bleeding no matter what the cause.
Is the site easy to use?
The website is very easy to use. It’s easy to find the products and it tells about the product.
Does it answer your questions?
It does answer all the questions about the product and the company. It is very informative even if you are not buying the product.
Please comment on various elements of the site. What do you like? What bothers you?
I like that it comes right out and tells you about the product. You do not have to look around the website to find out information. It allows you to buy online. It also allows other people to leave feedback about the product.Â
The only thing that bothers me is that is that I did not see any place where it mentions whether or not the Celox delays healing or if it can cause irritation or infection.Â
Is the video engaging?
I did not see any place where there was a video. I looked around the website and could not find it.
Are you inclined to buy our product? Why?
I do want to buy your products after going to your website because you never know when you will need this. You could get hurt any time. You don’t plan accidents.
Please share any other thoughts or comments you might have.
Your website is very informative. I had not heard of this product for people before this. I know they have stuff for dogs but did not know that it was available for us also.
When you first visit the site, is it immediately clear what it is about?
It’s immediately clear that the site is for selling a product for bleeding, but I had to spend some time looking over the home page to see exactly what type of product was being sold.
Is the site easy to use?
The site is very easy to navigate, and the photo gallery is very helpful.
Does it answer your questions?
Once I figured out exactly where to look all of my questions were answered.
Please comment on various elements of the site. What do you like? What bothers you?
I like the ease of the menu bar and the photo gallery, which is great for showing exactly how the product works. What I didn’t like was that the home page is very busy and I had to search to find exactly what Celox is and does.
Is the video engaging?
I don’t think so. The beginning of the narration repeats the main portion of the page, which is redundant to me. I would rather see the product in action than have information I just read repeated verbatim.
Are you inclined to buy our product? Why?
Actually, I will be investing in Celox because I do see a real need for it in my home, particularly because my daughter and I share a Factor VIII deficiency.
Please share any other thoughts or comments you might have.
I recommend cleaning up the home page to make it less busy. I also recommend moving the explanation of how Celox works to the top of the page so that the viewer doesn’t have to look as hard for it.
Another thing to note:
Part of the confusion on your homepage is that the far left column has small packages of celox, which appear to be individually filled packets, but it is too small to read the actual packets and this does not say celox is a gel, ointment or liquid.
The middle column says it is test on the battlefield and in hospitals and further reinforces your slogan “bleeding stops with celox” but again it does not say what celox specifically is.
The far right column on your homepage has a video, but there is still no specific caption saying what it is. It says it is an effective first aid and below the video it says celox gauze several times, but does not say that this is a gel/ointment embedded into the gauze (until the very bottom in the product line up (which I still believe needs to be up top.
So just by looking at the three columns, nothing specifically states that celox is the gel that actually stops the bleeding. Please keep in mind that these columns take up the critical spot on your website which will be the very first thing people see. It is also referred to as being “above the fold”. That being said, there are visitors that will never make it to the bottom of your homepage. They will scratch their heads and leave if you don’t sell on your first impression above the fold.
Glitch/error: Upon further inspection of your product lineup, I would strongly recommend that you fix the caption for each product. Each product square has a background for the product in a light red that fades to white and the Product caption is also in white. It is readable, but I would like it to be more visible. I do like the fact that it appears in dark red when I hover over it, and I wish it was dark red without hover, because it is very easy to read. Again, this goes along with the principle that your product lineup is key to your brand, and they need to be very visible and need to be emphasized. That is why I suggest they need to be at the top of your homepage.
When you first visit the site, is it immediately clear what it is about? Yes, the site appears to be about a product that will help to immediately stop the flow of blood, something similar to the body’s own clotting mechanism.
Â
Is the site easy to use? The site is very easy to navigate around, appears to be very user friendly.
Â
Does it answer your questions? The site tells me what the product is about, how it works, and the history of the product.   It tells me in what forms the product is available, such as guaze, nostril plugs, and granules.  It contains media reviews, photos, a Contact Us and About Us tab.   Also, as mentioned above, I did think the process of the product was similar to the normal blood clotting process, however, it does tell me that it only clots the blood that it immediately comes in contact with. It also tells me the mode of this action and the benefits.
Â
Please comment on various elements of the site. What do you like? What bothers you? First I would like to see the How Celox Works box at the top of the screen, so I can see the process immediately. I would also like to see a FAQ tab at the top of the page instead of under the Technology tab. (It should have it’s own tab).  I like the Photo Gallery, so that I can truly see the results of this product. I also really like the home page of this website as well as the header of this website.   I like the plasma look under the Bleeding Stops with Celox! It really is eye catching, bright and well put together. This is truly an amazing product! Nothing about this website bothers me other than what I have mentioned above.
Â
Is the video engaging? Absolutely!
Â
Are you inclined to buy our product? Why? Absolutey! As a certified EMT, I carry a jump bag in my car at all times. This is definitely a product that I want to add to my bag. I have to say that I am absolutely amazed to see that this product will help with my Coumadin and Heperin patients!   At $32.99 for a 10 pack of granules, it’s very reasonable priced. Very competitive to any other product I carry in my bag!

Product: I am very excited to pass this website and product on to my friends and colleagues!  It’s definitely something I believe in 100%. It’s something that I will buy for home, car and work!
Website: All pages of the website open both quickly and without incident. They load fast. The video opens quickly and runs smoothly. It is a very informative video!   The colors of the website are very appealing, very easy on the eyes.   The size of the font and colors all work very well with the overall theme.   I do not find any broken links in this website.   I can easily ascertain what the overall basis of this website is all about.   The information was achieved effortlessly!

When you first visit the site, is it immediately clear what it is about?
It is clear that your product stops heavey bleeding but how it’s stops it is not clear. I had to some reading and still couldn’t figure out how it works. It’s it clear that now everyone can use Celox anywhere and anytime and that it comes in a guave. Again I found that out after doing some reading, that information was not immediately clear. As I scrolled down the page I saw the “How Celox works’, section and reading gave me a clear idea of what your products does. That should be move closer to the top of the page. The faqs page should have it’s own tab.
Is the site easy to use?
The site is really eas to use and every page was really well thought out. There is alot of great information that even the lay person could understand.
Does it answer your questions?
Yes, it does. Each page give the reader a vast amount of information with pctures and graphs.
Please comment on various elements of the site. What do you like? What bothers you?
I really like the banner picture at the top of your page. The blood flow picture was a great decision and that it moves like the flow of blood was even better. The banner says exactly what your product is all about and that is essential. The use of the color red and it’s shade variations. I like that you can buy your products right there from the website. I like that you have a very interactive video, it’s short but it pack in a alot of information. It’s nice that you have an offer to try Celox 100% free.
Is the video engaging?
Yes, it was great!
Are you inclined to buy our product? Why?
As a mother of four boys would definitely see the need for such product. Someone is always crapping and cutting themselves. Also, two of my boys have episodes of nose bleeding so this product would definitly fill my medicine cabinet.

The homepage is a little busy it’s just needs to be cleaned up a touch. You pack so much info on your site just be sure not to bog down your viewers.

It is immediately clear what the site is about. The site is easy to navigate and all of the links work. The product is explained well under the technology section and most of my questions were answered. I like that everything is easy to find and use. The technology section was interesting, though the word gel was used a lot. It paints a good picture, but maybe think of another word so you don’t sound so repetitive. I was also curious if there were any side effects from use, or over use other than possible hypersensitivity. Is it at all dangerous to the bloodstream? Is there any toxicity danger? Is it easy to remove once it has clotted?
I wasn’t a fan of the audio on the home page. The music sounded ominous, and the whole message seemed too intense. I was glad that it didn’t loop. It gets to the point, but I think a friendlier approach would be better.
I did however like the video. It was a little long, and the audio was a little disjointed, but the information provided in the video and with the visuals was helpful and answered a lot of questions.
I think that if the audio on the home page were more like the video it would improve the site a lot. Also if there was a way to stop the audio, especially after clicking on a different tab and then coming back to the home page, that would be great. As far as the video goes, if you could polish up the audio flow, and shorten the clip by reducing the amount of examples, it could be really good. Lastly if you could add some info reassuring the customer that there is no danger of toxicity, and info about removal, your site would be ready to go.
As of now your website is pretty solid, and your product sounds amazing. I’m actually considering purchasing your product. With a few technical changes I think you’ll be ready to go. Good luck!
