Is the value proposition clear? When I opened the website via the URL as given, the whole website page flashes onto my screen, but immediately the bottom white section (Create & Share Lists with Friends, Ask your Friends, etc.) disappears from my screen and there is no way to find it. The only thing that is clearly displayed is the Search for Products space and the Top Right Hand Indexes.
Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory? My first search was the word Shoes. This search brought up jeans, socks, shoes and ice cleat, but also a Wizard of Oz basket (?). So, I performed a second search of OPI Nail Polish and this search ONLY brought up the items of OPI. Maybe the term Shoes was too broad.
Is there anything in the design that you dont like? No, I really like the idea of being able to put together Lists and Favorites of my searches.
Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use? I immediately realized I had to sign in utilizing my Facebook account… so I used a test account I have set up. I signed in and created this list of OPI Nail Polish. I created a favorites list by searching for Pureology products and marking them as “Favorite”. I came back to both of my lists to find it worked perfectly. The Create List Interface was both simple and user friendly.
Additional Feedback: I am not a big Facebook user, but rather use the social networking site Cafemom. I would like to be able recommend this site to all the other moms, but would like a different sign in option, maybe the ability to create an account without messing with Facebook. ‘
Overall, I did have a lot of fun utilizing this site and would definitely use it and recommend it to all my friends.
•Visit http://www.cloudshopper.com. Is the value proposition clear?
When I first clicked on this site, nothing was clear to me. From what I read on the page, I assumed that your service is like a store. You can buy things from your site and it will be sent to you. According to the text on the bottom of the screen, you can share your shopping list on facebook with friends.
•Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
This is where I got confused. The site doesn’t state what kinds of things you can buy. Food? Gifts? Cars? I first typed in “milk”. Milk did not come up on the screen. The only thing that came up was things such as coffee and cereal. So at that point I was thinking that maybe your selling food products. I then typed in “cars”. Hot wheels came up on the screen. So now I am starting to think you sale different products from food to toys. In other words from A to Z.
•Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
I actually like the layout and design. The design and color matches your site name.
•Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use?
No it was not due to the fact that it wants you to log into facebook in order to make a list. I did click “buy” to see if it puts the product in a cart, but instead it took me to http://www.Amazon.com.
•Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
In order to make this site successful, I feel there are some things that need to be changed. First, you need to state on your site what it is that your site is selling. If it’s everything then state everything or can give examples such as food, toys, etc. It’s a little confusing if a possible future client is not aware of your service. I think you might also have a problem with people having to sign on to facebook in order to make a list but yet they can just go to Amazon to buy it. I am assuming if I logged on to facebook in order to make a shopping list, that people on my facebook would be able to see my list. If thats the case, that should change. Not everyone wants their friends and family to see what they are wanting to buy. Some things are private. They should have the option to show their list to friends and family. I think that you should do a normal sign in account and then give the clients the option to connect it to their facebook or to show their friends and family. I think your on the right track and the site is a good idea. I just feel you should change a few things.
First comment: When opening the website and resizing the window, the part with the text disappeared and I could only see the blue part. Maybe a bug?
Like your concept and I understand the Cloud bit, but I miss the shopping bit in the visuals, which seems like an essential part of your product!
Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
It’s not really clear what you should type in the search window. I typed in ‘shoes’ and got a list of Levi’s jeans 🙂 And now I want to click away the list of results, but that doesn’t seem possible.
Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
As I already said, I like that it’s clean but I need a bit more visuals to understand what the site is about.
Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use?
The create list interface is very easy to use. It is clear what where you fill in information and which button to click to move on. But still I miss some more information on what I could put in the list. It would be great to see some examples or templates or suggestion lists to get you started.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
I like the idea and am curious to see how the service will turn out when you go out of beta!
I forgot to mention something. You site is connected to Amazon. Not everyone likes shopping at Amazon for products. I think you should connect your site to other sites too. That way people can choose what company they want to buy from and not just be stuck using Amazon.
1) The value proposition: I did a search for “penny loafers” and I got 5 results, $50.00 and up. Compared to a search on Nextag.com at the present, I do not see how your site has the competitive advantage in terms of getting a better price. However, your product search adds a “social” aspect to a product search in theory, but my search did not have recommendations by my friends either, so the concept of your site is great if it truly works.
2) Again, refer back to question 1. I did a second search on “jeans”, this time I was signed into Facebook. I understand that I can comment on search results and share with friends – this is a good concept – but I am not getting the lowest price that I would want to actually buy a pair. The lowest price your results gave was $40.00 and one pair came up with an unknown price. That was not helpful.
3) I actually really like the design, the clouds almost remind me of the Mario Bros. game on Nintendo. It seems carefree and fun. I really like the cloud theme and colors. Nothing in the design I have any issues with.
4) Creating a List: Ok, I created a list for “basketballs” and this time the results were more reasonable in price. I would actually consider these prices and made a list of 5. But, after clicking “done” I clicked the tab popular and back to list and the list was not there in my lists tab. I don’t understand why my list was not automatically saved.
5) Additional comments: Adding to the problem at the end of number 4, it does not appear to save my results when I move from one tab to another (moving from popular to lists and back to popular). This is kind of annoying. I would want my last search to be saved so I don’t have to redo the search over and over again. Could you look into saving the search so you can come back to it with one click on a tab? That is the only issue I had with your site. Other than that, I like the colors, design, concept and thing you have a great service to offer. 8)
• I think I understand, its where you are looking for gifts for friends and you list can be created that can be shared.
• I did a search for phones and it brought up plenty of phones to chose from. I also did coffee maker and was a little surprised at the results. Not sure what a stovetop popcorn popper had to do with coffee maker! LOL However, once I was done, it would not let me go back to the home page. I had to back out to go back to the home page
• I didn’t like the fact that I there was no home button to go back. I think a FAQ would help someone understand what you are all about. I know that when I am looking for something, I only spend seconds looking at the site for something to pique my interest. If I cannot figure out what the site is all about in that time frame, I will just move on.
• When I went into the create interface site, I was asked to sign into facebook, which I did and it brought up my name. When I went to click on create a list, I got the error message of Oops, you’ll need to log into access that feature. It would not let me go any further.
• I think the site is clean and the colors go well together, however you may need to explain yourself a little better. I would also say that the sign in process has to be a little better. Not sure if there is a bug in the system, but make signing on a little easier, just I mentioned above.
1.Is the value proposition clear?
It is clear. You put in what you are searching for and it will show you results. I also can tell that you can link your facebook account with this site and comment on reviews and share your results. Good concept.
2.Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
I decided to look for the Leapster 2 because I am getting that for my daughter and when the results came up, they were not the cheapest I have found. The price was $69.99. I can buy it at walmart for $34.99. The results that show up are not the lowest around. When I am shopping online, I am trying to find the best price and this site does not produce satisfactory results. The only upside to the results is that you are able to share with your friends on facebook. I did not try this feature because I didn’t want the site to be allowed to access my facebook.
3. Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
There is nothing in the design that I do not like. It is simple and easy to use. I like the fact that you have the sky and clouds to go along with what your site is called. It is very easy on the eyes.
4. Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use?
When I searched for the Leapster 2 product, the list was very easy to use. I like how you can click on the product and it moves over to the right hand side to tell you more about the product and reviews. I think the options to buy it new, used, and refurbished is a great idea as well.
The ask friends button is a new one and I think it is a great feature because we are always asking our friends opinion. This way we can get their opinion easy and on facebook. Another great concept.
5. Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
I think that if you want to be competitive with Amazon, nextag, and all those sites, you need to produce better results. We don’t want to pay more for a product when we can buy it elsewhere. However, I do like the reviews that are given on the page.
1) Visit http://www.cloudshopper.com. Is the value proposition clear?
The value proposition was clear once I scanned the bottom of the page. However, I’m not sure everyone would take the time to do that. At first glance, it just looks like a shopping search website. The big “search for products” box does make that much clear. I think a lot of people would fail to look at the bottom of the page to read about sharing with friends, asking friends, helping friends, etc. because there are so many websites that have tiny writing at the bottom that’s relatively unimportant, and it gets overlooked. For example, this is where many websites put their “contact us” and “about” information that people usually don’t read.
2) Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
I search for “The Girl Who Played With Fire,” which is a book. I immediately got some results, which gave me the list price for the book from Amazon.com, along with some product details, news, Twitter feed, and photos. I love all the extras, but I do wish that there were more buying options other than just Amazon. There’s always a chance Barnes & Noble or Borders might have the book for less, and I would probably leave your site to search for a lower price at other places. That said, I understand that your site is in the beginning phase and this might be a feature you’re planning to add later.
3)Is there anything in the design that you don’t like?
There is nothing in the design that I don’t like. The large font and light background is greatly appreciated. The light background makes the color photos “pop out” more, and I like that. The large, black font also stands out well on the light blue background. I even looked again just to be sure, but I can’t find anything wrong with the design here at all.
4) Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use?
The “create list” interface was fairly easy to use. The only thing I didn’t really like about it was that when I first started browsing the site, I obviously had no prior lists made. I clicked the button at the bottom of the book I was looking at to add it to a new list, and I had to to go to the trouble of searching for the product all over again in order to add it to my new list. I realize though that once I had already made some lists up, it would be as easy as just adding the product from the search results screen.
5)Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have
Bottom Line: This is a great idea for a shopping website. Sharing my lists with friends, getting ideas, and recommendations sounds like fun, and I could see myself using this website in the future on Facebook and other social platforms I use. There does need to be more stores represented apart from just Amazon, though.
The Facebook link worked fine for me. Once I connected my Facebook account to the website, it was very easy to share my list after I had created it. I really like that your site can mesh with Facebook so easily, since I use Facebook daily.
I think a price comparison feature would be nice. Lots of sites have this and it’s just confusing, so I often don’t even attempt to try it. I think that with the way your website is laid out and how easy it is to navigate in general that I would really enjoy using price comparison there, assuming that the price comparison would be as simple to navigate through as the rest of your site.
– Is the value proposition clear?
When I first opened the site, it just looked like another search site. I looked around the site and read what it was about and it became more clear as to what the site was about.
– Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
I did a search for “ankh” and the results were decent. There were only two prices listed on the whole page. I liked that when I clicked on the product to get more info, it gave me a little history on the symbolism of the ankh, decent product info as well as technical info (when available). That was rather impressive.
– Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
There was really anything about the site that I didn’t like. The design of the site is nice. The layout & colors are easy on the eyes and the site loads rather quickly.
– Was the Create List Interface easy to use?
Creating the list required that I log in to my Facebook account … I didn’t like that. I created the list and the had to save 1 item to the list because it wouldn’t let me click next. I didn’t like the first 3 items that were shown to me, but had no choice but to save 1 just so I could go to the next page. After I created the list, I wanted to look at more products, but I was prompted to share on Facebook. I clicked Finished, got the congrats for creating the list and then went back to look at my list. I couldn’t get my list to open up to let me see it. It was a hassle from start to finish.
– Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
Instead of people having to log in to Facebook to share (or create a list), the option to share should be made available. You need to make the Create List option easier to use & make the ability to view your list easier too.
1. Visit www.cloudshopper.com. Is the value proposition clear?
Actually, I don’t think so. I can appreciate the minimalist design; however, my eyes are initially diverted to the “search†box, and the supporting copy below in the “cloud†is a very small font. I feel that you need a strong headline with a very clear statement of your product and value. Then, the supporting copy and search box will complement the homepage and provide functionality, rather than serving to confuse.
2. Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
The results are 50/50 what I was looking for (I searched for eco-friendly bag). The first two results I received were not appropriate, and then I received a few that were specific to my request.
3. Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
I like the simplistic design, and clear-cut navigation; however, I feel that the intro copy for each product is too short. Other than that, though, I really am a fan of a clean page with simple navigation, and your site definitely delivers on that.
4. Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use?
It is extremely easy to use, and I also find that it provides a great deal of value to me (the ability to post to my Facebook wall right in the “create a list†interface was extremely easy and convenient.
5. Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
I’m curious as to the purpose, or next steps, once you post an item or list to your Facebook wall? Is there any other social media integration to follow (ie Twitter)? I would find this website to be more of a service if there was more information about actually buying the items (ie Where to buy them, where they are least expensive). In all honesty, I can’t imagine coming to this site just to create a list, when I could just as easily, and without an extra step, post on my Facebook wall myself what I want. I feel that there needs to be a bit more added benefit to the consumer to use your service. Overall, though, I like the design and it is very easy to use. I also feel that more copy on the homepage, as well as a clear-cut “About Us†page, will help visitors to your site feel comfortable allowing you to connect with their Facebook pages, and will also lend more credibility to your site. I think that a blog would be very helpful for you, both as an SEO tool, and to establish benefits of using your site, expertise in social media/online shopping, and overall credibility.
Visit http://www.cloudshopper.com. Is the value proposition clear?
While visiting this site I understund what to do of course that is because I read the about cloudshopper above. I noticed that some of the clouds pop up at the bottom of the screen and tells you what this site is about; this was strictly by accident so I dont think other people will know to look for that. Other than that parts of it were clear.
Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
I searched for a product like the instructions said and i was very satisfied. it gave me a wide variety of the product i searched for. On the page with each product it has certain buttons to either buy now or ask friends and i think that is very creative.
Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
At the bottom of the screen, the clouds that pop up i found those to get tiresome after a while. It kept opening up However i couldnt get them to go back down I ended up having to close the page and reopen it in a different tab.
Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use?
I had searched for a pair of boots and while looking through them i found it quite easy to make a list. While doing so i noticed you can even move it to the side to get more detail. By doing this it is a lot easier than other retail store websites where you have to load a new page.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have
I like the site in general it is very simple and the colors are very easy on the eyes. You can connect this with facebook which is a creative idea itself because most people own and use a facebook account.
Interested? No.
I think the value proposition is very unclear. I think, my first experience was very confusing. I picked video phone as my search. I received several items from that search. I was not able to get any recommendations that would make me choose one versus the other. I was able to get details about the product, but not much that I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for.
The product I searched for was satisfactory. I was pretty turned off by the other things that had nothing to do with my search. I had additional information that I did not need or want in my search. No reviews or comments that I can make reference to. So, that means I have to wait for a reply from one of my friends. I do not have time for that.
The design was pretty average. It did not really appeal to me. Very huge font and designs. The search took up a lot of space. I need to get in and out. Just something easy and straight to the point. A good small size would be ok. If I’m interested in it, I can click on it and get the larger size. If the price is right, then, I could see myself clicking on a merchandise. Don’t really need too much.
There was a concern for me when it came to logging out. I still can not find where to log out. I have looked everywhere.
Making the list was ok. The only problem I had was scrolling down to pick the next one I wanted. I pressed my down key, scrolled down from my computer, and looked at the big bubble next to the items. I could not figure it out. I just deleted out of it once I got close to the end. There were too many items to do to complete the list. I don’t think this is a site I could work with.
I can do the same thing on my other social networks. I don’t really have a reason to go to this site. Maybe if they have discounts.
* Visit http://www.cloudshopper.com.
Is the value proposition clear? I don’t think so, just clicking on the link it just look like a search engine. However, since I read the direction I did know it was a search engine for shopping.
Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory? No; I was not satisfy; I type in Iphone 4g and what came up was unknown, and Iphone cases. I search for Nike shoe’s and what came up was Nike shoe and the prices were scattered. I would’ve like my searches to be listed from lowest price to the highest prices or highest to lowest.
Is there anything in the design that you dont like? I like the design I would like some detail for the site it self; would be helpful.
Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use? Yes it was easy to create a list
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have. My comments is for a more accurate search.
First , when this site started very comfortable tone, but ‘BUY NOW’ button on the green would be too much contrast, and, are connected to the AMAZON, how not to learn about comparison shopping is now more popular the concept of Gave the show a few out of the store allows users to choose to not more able to attract customers, not everyone likes to shop in the AMAZON. Even if only a little bit cheaper, but also a little of what you the customer psychology.
Is the value proposition clear?
Not as much as it could be. You can come to a conclusion of what the site is for, but it is not obvious. That being said, it is not so foggy that one would be totally lost if they came across the site. Once you get past the initial page and start doing searches the value proposition becomes very clear. I think maybe it should just be more apparent from the very first look.
Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
I did a search for a flat iron, because this is something I have been doing some online shopping for recently. I need to replace the one I have, and I have been comparing prices at different online stores. I found my search results to be very satisfactory. It gave me a variety of different brands and the prices of each. If I had seen this site from the beginning, it could have saved me lots of time and effort in my quest for a new flat iron.
Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
No, the design is very simplistic. There just isn’t much there for you not to like. I do, however, think that the site could benefit from some sort of high catcher. I can say that I was very pleased by the lack of ads. It seems that every site you go to know has so many ads that you cannot see what it is you came to the site to look for. I do understand that sites need the profits made from the advertisements, but there is a place for them. A site should not be so cluttered with them, that you cannot find what you are looking for.
Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use?
Yes, once you login or register. The sign on with facebook feature is very helpful. Most people have a facebook account, and this saves visitors to the site time and effort in creating a seperate account.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
Overall the site is very appealing. It is easy to look at and its not overrun with ads. The only thing I would change is to add an eye catcher and make the purpose of the site more evident from first glance. At first glance the site appears to be just a normal search engine. Regular search engines are a dime a dozen, and most people only use the ones they are familiar with. If people realize that the site is a search engine for online shopping they are more likely to stay on the site past first glance.
The first thing in the site you should correct is to adjust the size of the page. There is scroll bar on the side while the page is not big and there is no need of scroll bar.
I like the style by which you are showing detail of a product so its nice.
I search laptops and its show me the laptop but they are randomly searched so try to arrange the search results by price or Adiabatically
Other wise site is good and try to enter more companies for buying like amazon you have.
1) Visit http://www.cloudshopper.com. Is the value proposition clear?
No, because the message doesn’t get across.
I use the link to get to the page and it starts to load… it seems that at the bottom there’s some text that I don’t have the time to read because it disapperas… tried to go down and see if it is at the bottom but no, I can’t find it.
Therefore, I see a nice search form ready to use. Fair enough, I simply get the impression that it is a product searching web.
Just by sheer luck, I hit the clouds at the bottom and the text that I couldn’t read before appears… but then the search form is partially hidden. Now I realize that there’s more value to this that simply sharing products… but how do I get those clouds to hide the text again? The only way I found is either to reload the page or to click on the Cloud shopper logo.
A bit annoying, really. I think that usuability can be improved. The text should remind open at the beggining, and there should be a hide/show button or some kind of way to let people know what they can do.
2) Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
I searched for a few products and I’m satisfied with the results. In this case, I love the interface and how it has been designed. It is easy to use and intuitive, and I get what I want and I can see the details. It loads quickly. Good work here.
3) Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
I think the desing is OK, but as explained before (question 1), it is a bit annoying to see text that you can’t read because it disappears… or if you accidentaly get it to show up again, not being able to hide it.
Other thing that I find that can be improved is the lists… what happens if I want to create my lists but not share them? Why do I have to be forced to sign in facebook?
The idea is nice when I really need to ask the opinion of my friends but sometimes I simply want to have my opinions easy to find, and I don’t need to ask anyone about.
4) Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use?
I didn’t complete the process because I don’t let facebook applications to get my details that easily. But as far as I could see, it was as easy to do as it is to use the site. I give it the thumbs up.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
Correct the home page. Let the text visible, so people can read it.
If you follow the first suggestion , make clear that they can hide the bottom text if they want, and show it back if they wish. A show/hide button will do.
Don’t base your application on facebook. There are lots of people that don’t like the risk that implies to allow an application to get their details, furthermore when it is something that they’re not goin to use everyday. Give them the chance to use it and create lists for their own use.
1) Is the value proposition clear?
No. I still do not see the benefit of the service. The benefit is not quite defined. I also did not find the experience clear and easy to grasp. I had to play with the site to understand exactly how it works and how I and others can benefit from it.
2) Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
I searched for children slippers and the results were somewhat satisfactory. I liked the types of slippers offered, however, I didn’t like not being able to have a way to sort through the results by price, size, color, etc. so I basically had to go through each product which is not efficient or necessary. I was confused by some of the results because the price said $1, but, when I clicked on the product the price was $24.95 that’s not accurate and creates confusion and can turn someone away from proceeding through the site.
It would be helpful to get total results found when searching for a product.
3) Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
I think the simplicity of the site is in one way attractive, however, I think this site is too simple. A tagline telling a visitor in a nutshell what the site is about would be helpful and I think necessary. A sentence that would peek my curiosity or make me want to look into the site more. For example, a something like this: “Cloud Shopper…Making your shopping experience come to life”, “Cloud Shopper…Who says you have to shop alone?” , “Cloud Shopper…The Social Shopping One Stop Spot” or something like that. It makes the visitor want to know more about Cloud Shopper.
I think each section below should be linkable headlines that take a user to a snippet of what each section is talking about. For example, Create & Share Lists with friends should be a link that when I click on it will take me to a picture of what that activity looks like to give the site’s visitor a better idea of what this feature does.
4) Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use?
I think creating a list was easy to fill out, but, I was confused as to where to begin creating the list. Do I create a list from the product section? Or by clicking list at the top of the page? The site should specify the user needs to create shopping lists first and then add products to the desired list by clicking on “list” after they begin shopping. Creating a list was confusing because there is no real direction: I didn’t realize I had to create various lists and then drop products I like in the corresponding list.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
The site has a good concept, but, I think it’s trying to mesh too many tools at once and it’s not clearly defined. It looks like the results only come from amazon and not everyone wants to only get results from amazon. I rather get a variety of results from various sources and be presented with deals and offers. I spent more time trying to read through the information and how it works that by the time I finished I didn’t want to share with friends and/or get their opinions because I thought they would be just as confused.
I did like how my questions and suggestions on the products appear on my facebook wall that aspect is convenient and fun.
I would be more inclined to share this service with others if it offered a more valuable service to others such as sharing deals, unique products, events, etc. on my wall.
1. Visit http://www.cloudshopper.com. I visited your website, it loaded very quickly which is a plus, and from me never seeing or visiting this site before it was very user friendly, easy to navigate, and catch on to, compared to a more complex site like ebay or amazon which can be very intimidating at first to use to the inexperienced web user. thumbs up on simplicity.
2. Is the value proposition clear?
At first I was unsure, of what I was supposed to be searching for or if you guys were supposed to be specializing in something? Then i searched on and and got the whole vibe of the site. But at first it was unclear.
3.Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
So the first thing i searched for was fossil watches since these are items that I own a few of and am very familiar with the pricing. I was very satisfied with this search because the first watch that popped up was one that I really like and am planning on buying in the near future.
The second item that I searched for was converse all star tennis shoes, again this is a item that I am really familiar with in pricing and ownership. The results for the different varieties of the shoes were very helpful.
4. Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
When one first comes upon this site the feel is very generic, once again compared to one of the bigger auction or seller sites. Maybe add a slogan or something catchy on the homepage, to draw users attention and there like-ability for return business.
5. Search for a product and create a list. Was the Create List Interface easy to use? Did this……. the search was very easy to use……………and the whole list process wasn’t much of one which was good. It is over simplified for even the freshest user. I feel like this is a good thing, that it is not over complicated. Very simple…Thumbs up.

Over all I enjoyed it and it should work well.
a)Upon visiting http://www.cloudshopper.com,the value proposition wasn’t clear because not enough information was given out to explain about the website and it’s advantages.
b)I searched for diamond ring, and i thought the results were satisfactory, with a lot of options like ( popular, lists, friends, favorites)
c)I didn’t like the lack of information and writings on the front page which would probably give the site more marketing importance.
d)I searched for a product and created a list, and i thought the create list interface fairly easy to use using social network like facebook.
e)I thought the website was fairly easy and simple to use, but the lack of information and display on the front page makes it a little ambigous for first time users to understand the purpose of the site.
When I visited the site it loaded very quickly, which is a must have when I am viewing a site or looking for something in particular. I did go over the items that is needed for this submission and came up with these answers to them.
1. Is the value proposition clear? I thought it was very clear and understandable. It is a site that makes it easier for consumers to find a specific product they are looking for. I like to be able to get a variety of results when looking up certain items especially if I am not real clear in what exactly I am looking for in particular.
2. Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory? I looked up DSI games because my boys are always wanting new games and wanted to see how much they cost. I also was unsure of what exactly was out there for DSI games. The search brought up New Super Mario Bros. for $34.99 and some other super Mario games as well. I was quite happy with the results and the results loaded really fast which I liked.
3. Is there anything in the design that you didn’t like? The design fit well with the name, cloud shopper. I think it could possibly have a little more detail but it either way it gets the point across.
4. Search for a product and create a list, was the create list interface easy to use? I searched for unicorns and tried creating a list. However the each time I tried it kept saying log into face book, which I was already logged into. So this was a downer for me because it would not allow me to create the list that I would of wanted to.
5. Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have? I think the site is very useful especially getting quick results. I like the fact that anyone on your social network would be able to see what you would like in the event of a birthday or other holidays that would give them an ideal of gifts, although I was having problems with the whole thing. This may be a bug or glitch in the system so it may need to be checked out. Other than that I do like the site.
it all works for me except one thing that i dont like. in order even to start your list you have to log in with fb account.
great site!
1. Is the Value Proposition clear. In one word yes. I did a quick search on ear rings. this pulled up ear rings ranging in price from $20 all the way up to $800.
2. The results i received were more than satisfactory, i did not expect to receive as many options as i did. The results even gave choices from what type of metal to what type of stone you wanted. which is good to have choices and vareity when ever your shopping
3 the website’s design is very crisp. the only thing that was not to practical for me was that you had to scroll down to see more products. if there was a way that your could place products in rows not just in a column it would be a lot more practical.
4 creating a list was pretty simple. and its very practical because you can organize the products that you really like and then compare and contrast.
5, awesome idea! i especially liked the create a list part of this website. it is the first time i see anything of the sort while shopping online. I cant wait to see what else you guys add to improve.

When the site first came up there were the clouds and some writing, which I could not make out because it quickly went to an almost total light blue screen. You could see the clouds in the lower right and lower left corners. In the upper left hand corner you could see “Clo” and that was it.
Search for a product. Are the results satisfactory?
I could not search the site at all no matter what I tried. I could not bring up access to that feature.
Is there anything in the design that you dont like?
It looks like a very pretty design, but I wish that I could have seen the rest of it. It looks like it has the makings of a nice site once the glitches are worked out of it.

1. Visit https://www.cloudshopper.com.
Fantastic display i love the distribution of color and to use light blue color to compliment Facebook’s dark blue color logo is genius. The website was extremely easy to use and by simply typing in a word such as “butter” results were lightning quick and extremely precise. I also loved the idea of asking “friends” by just logging on to Facebook, that feature almost makes the shopping experience more personal; pairing with Facebook will also most certainly broaden the range of the “target customer”
