The first thing I thought was if I needed to log in before I got to see what the site was really about. I found that to be a bit confusing but then I scrolled down to see a very well done introductions. The instructions and what the site has to offer was simplistically presented and I was able to understand it very clearly.

Honestly what I did want to find was what I discussed before, I wasn’t sure what this site was for but I found it on the second half of the first page. The first half of the page doesn’t make it clear to me, that I had to scroll down to find our more of what the site had to offer me. I really didn’t think the first half of the page was necessary, I think that would work better if it was at the bottom of the page.
    3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I was encouraged because it was of no charge to me, the front page gave me reasons to be interested but didn’t spill all the beans, in a manner of speaking, I was curious to see what more I could find useful once I joined.

I found a site and I browsed through it, it was nuxeo but I found it to be a little to technical for me, I couldn’t make it out so in that sense your site was better but on the other hand I had no confusion about what the site was about. On yours I was a wee bit confused.
    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I cannot think of anything else to add except perhaps testimonials of happy customers? I wouldn’t mind seeing a live chat for instant help.

  2. 1. My first impression is that the home page text is very small and hard to read. I also don’t understand what the site can do for me just by looking at what you have above the fold. “Social Q&A For Business” doesn’t say a lot to me. When I scroll down to “Reasons you’ll love CorpQNA,” it seems like a site with answers to common tech support questions. But then when I scroll down to “Reduce the noise,” I finally realize this is collaborative software for business that routes employee questions to the appropriate party.

    2. I want to find out more specifics about how your app works. Since I don’t see a navbar or a video or slideshow to watch, my only option seems to be to click the “Get started” button in the upper right corner. This immediately takes me to an account creation page. I’m not able to find any informational pages to give me a better understanding of what I’m signing up for, so I’d say that I’m not able to find what I’m looking for, and I’m still confused about how all this works.

    3. Not yet since I don’t know enough about how your software works.

    4. To be honest, I have no idea what terms to search on since I don’t fully understand what kind of software this is. It reminds me of work management or group collaboration software, and there are lots of variations of that available, usually with many, many project management features, whereas your app seems to focus on routing questions and/or support. I searched on “business software, routing questions,” “business software, tech support,” “work management software, routing questions,” “work management software, employee questions,” and “employee tech support software” and really didn’t see anything comparable.

    5. The main issue here is that there isn’t enough info to sell visitors on this product. I’m still not even sure what it can do. The home page isn’t bad, but the site needs supporting informational pages that go into more detail about features and benefits, cost, and contact info. Regarding the home page itself, you have a screenshot above the fold that looks like it’s going to be an intro video, and this would indeed be a good place for one. The rest of the home page is ok (though the print and screenshots are too small to see easily), but it’s just a start. I don’t know enough about the software after just reading the home page to sign up immediately, yet that’s what you ask me to do. If you can flesh out the site, I’d be able to make a better judgment about the usefulness of your app. Hope that helps.
