Yes, I understand it. It is made to reviews everybody Else’s thought’s and then you make money for answering them right and helping them out. This site isn’t that bad at all.

Select an active brainstorming session and post a response. What do you think of the experience? Is it straight-forward and easy or complicated?

No, it was not complicated at all. It was very easy to write a comment, and answer a few. I don’t see anything that need’s to be improved at all.

Is it clear how you will receive your prizes if you win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal within a brainstorming session?
Yes, you answer the questions and get reply’s back. and if you did a good job and help the person out. Then you get the prize or money that you earned.

Would you use the Crowd Stormer service as part of your role or job description? If so, in what scenarios would you use it?
not really, it’s not my ally, I would not like to do this. It’s to hard to answer some of them question’s I looked at, They don’t involve anything I would understand. so no. I would not.

Currently, each brainstorming response can be viewed by all participants – however it can only be rated out of 5 stars by the Session Creator. Do you think the brainstorming responses should be rated by all participants, or just by the Session Creator?
I think they should be rated by all the people that sign up for the site. That way you can get there point of view what they think will work and how good the answer is. That way you can get more users attract to your site.

I think this site is cool, and it will be a good site to help other people out. I don’t have anything else about the site iI see that is wrong or not right.

You have right in blue at the top of the page that your page is about brainstorming with other to come up with ideas. I must say I did not however understand “crowd accelerated brainstorming with prizes,” in a of it self. It’s two wordy like someone is trying to make this sound sophisticated instead of making it easy, fun and exciting to do.  My initial impression of the site is that is doesn’t match with what your site seems to be about. Beside the nice shade of blue it looks pretty boring to me.  As I go to signup I almost didn’t know where to click because there are not direct boundary lines. I also don’t like the light shading of gray color. I feel like I’m really strecthing my eyesight to see. I don’t think shading your words should be used as a way to add color to a sight, just simply add more color. When I did click on the name the word went away. If I had to stop for a minute and turn my attention else where I might forget what information was supposed to be listed in that area. I see that it comes back when I click on another box but that can be cumbersome and a user might not think to do that. I think that you should simply put password instead of the dots. Why is the country info needed? After I got the success message I tried to click on one of the tabs to change my display name and it booted me back to the homepage. That needs to be fixed.
Select an active brainstorming session and post a response. What do you think of the experience? Is it straight-forward and easy or complicated?
I had no way of knowing how to access this info, so I just stated clicking all over the page. I finally clicked on the logo at the top of the page and was taken to the info I needed. How was I supposed to know to do that? You have no directions listed. The experience was fine and not complicated at all. Again I just assumed to just click on the question and got takesn to the appropriate page to give feedback.
Is it clear how you will receive your prizes if you win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal within a brainstorming session?
I understand the concept of the awards but… Does the person who posted the question pick who get what medal? Who pays for the prizes? Who is rating the best answer? When are the prized awarded? How is the time period decided upon?
Would you use the Crowd Stormer service as part of your role or job description? If so, in what scenarios would you use it?
I’m not sure if I would use this services because of the above stated questions. If these are answered then I would possible consider using this site.
Currently, each brainstorming response can be viewed by all participants – however it can only be rated out of 5 stars by the Session Creator. Do you think the brainstorming responses should be rated by all participants, or just by the Session Creator?
I think that the answer should by the rater. I could easily just pick my response the best or give someones else a low rating. The creator of the questions know what he/ she wants they should be the decided factor as to who has the best response just as you will pick the best feedback from those on this site.

Clearly state how the site work. Darken the text for easier reading. Add a tutorial or a guide or a video. Liven up the colors and make answering the questions seem fun and exciting. Play up the gold, bronze and silver awards by possibly showcasing the highest ranking person in each catergory. Make the medals look more real and shake up the layout a bit, it doesn’t look engaging. Why is there a two dollar fee? Why is there minimum payout price? I think that your site needs to have added secuity when dealing with people accounts. Just engage with your users and make it fun.

The 15-30 second first glance gives me the impression your side is about brainstorming new idea generated from a crowdsourced approach.

It seems to incorporate the concept of “Groupthink” to solve individual problems.

If I read the gray bullets, I get it right away. I don’t understand why there are arrows next to some bullet points and not others. Consistency would add to your credibility.

I would also suggest putting these bullet points or selling points in a color and font that is more noticeable, that stands out to the eyes.

Select an active brainstorming session and post a response. What do you think of the experience? Is it straight-forward and easy or complicated?

Done. Was easy and straightforward to do.

Is it clear how you will receive your prizes if you win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal within a brainstorming session?

No, just by what I’ve seen so far, it is not ultra clear that prizes are awarded based upon Gold Silver or Bronze awards. Once I am logged in, I can no longer see the homepage and see this information.

Would you use the Crowd Stormer service as part of your role or job description? If so, in what scenarios would you use it?

Oh yes. Crowdstormer would be an excellent way to get fresh new ideas on problems.

Currently, each brainstorming response can be viewed by all participants – however it can only be rated out of 5 stars by the Session Creator. Do you think the brainstorming responses should be rated by all participants, or just by the Session Creator?

I think brainstorming responses should only be rated by the session creator so he can let the user know how helpful the response was.

Instead of using tagline: Crowd accelerated brainstorming with prizes, how about: Contribute solutions (or ideas) and Win Prizes!

The current tagline does not give me the immediate feeling I will win prizes.

There is a lot of text that is very small on the homepage. Personally I would not read it, unless it is more emphasized.

I don’t think you should list your active brainstorming ideas on your homepage.  You should reserve the homepage to sell the concept, have the brainstorming session available on a different page, but still viewable to those who are not logged in as a registered user.

  4. Please visit https://www.crowdstormer.com and sign up as a new user. What is your initial impression of our website? Do you immediately understand what the website’s purpose is? Why or why not?

My first thought was very clean, nice presentation. I understood the purpose of the website. The list on the default home page explaining what is was for very clearly and quickly. However, the first thing that popped into my head was “who pays for these awards?”. I don’t sign up for anything until I can figure out how the money is being made by the business. That way I can tell if it is a scam. So I did that also with this website also. First thing I did was click “How it works” (before signing up). I was not until I saw the “My payments”, Drop Down that I realized that I would need to pay if I wanted to posted a question. OK. Now that part made sense. Now, I want to sign up, but I can’t even get back to the home page. It says that I need to login first. The home page link should bring you back to the home page. I had to go directly to the URL to get there.

Now I am back at the home page. I am signing up but I had to think a bit about the ******* box. Nowhere does it say “Password”. Also, you may wanted to ask (me) to confirm the password at creation. Also, something about password requirements would be nice. I had no idea how complex the password needed to be. Personally, the site that allow you login with Facebook (which I never do), or gmail (which I always do) really make the sign up process easier.

Select an active brainstorming session and post a response. What do you think of the experience? Is it straight-forward and easy or complicated?

Once I figured out how to get to the posting response screen it was very easy and straight forward. However, that was not easy to determine. At the very least the hyperlink needs to be underlined so you know it is even a link. I had to hover over it to figure it out. Better yet, a button that said “Post a Response” next to each question.

•Is it clear how you will receive your prizes if you win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal within a brainstorming session?

I think that part was pretty clear.

Would you use the Crowd Stormer service as part of your role or job description? If so, in what scenarios would you use it?

Honestly, I would exhaust all free options first. Like posting to a specific forum. But depending on the growth of the site, and the quality responses I may consider it for something I was really stuck on.

Currently, each brainstorming response can be viewed by all participants – however it can only be rated out of 5 stars by the Session Creator. Do you think the brainstorming responses should be rated by all participants, or just by the Session Creator?

Session Creator for sure. They are the ones paying the money.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

I would recommend removing the pop-ups. Today’s websites usually display the error messages on the web pages. Or if something was successful, don’t tell me, just go to the next page (you can display a message there). I know that helps for debugging at first, but then they should be removed. Also, maybe you did this on purpose, but on first login the Full Name (and all others field) are not editable under updating the profile. Not real helpful, but I am guessing this is something that will be enabled in the future. Overall, I think the best part of this site was the look, the layout, the buttons, etc.

  5. Please visit https://www.crowdstormer.com and sign up as a new user. What is your initial impression of our website? Do you immediately understand what the website’s purpose is? Why or why not?
I like that it is uncluttered and tells you what it does in simple terms.  Not a fan of the tag line, would like something more dynamic.   Very easy to log in to set up account.
Select an active brainstorming session and post a response. What do you think of the experience? Is it straight-forward and easy or complicated?
Very easy and painless. Liked the simplicity of the page and the big blue buttons
Is it clear how you will receive your prizes if you win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal within a brainstorming session?  I sort of got the idea from the front page but went to the “How it Works” page for clarification.  This page was very easy to read and the information was easy to find.  Was also good to see the specific dollar amounts that would be awarded.
Would you use the Crowd Stormer service as part of your role or job description? If so, in what scenarios would you use it?  Not in my current capacity.  If the site has enough  members this could be a really useful tool.  I would probably try free options at first but as my business grew (and crowstormer.com grew too).  This would be a very economical tool.
Currently, each brainstorming response can be viewed by all participants – however it can only be rated out of 5 stars by the Session Creator. Do you think the brainstorming responses should be rated by all participants, or just by the Session Creator?  The Session Creator should be the only one who rates the session.  They are the ones paying for the session and the rating would indicate to others who are interested in using the site how useful it is for paying clients.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.  I found the service very easy to use.  I really liked the simplicity of it.

Please visit https://www.crowdstormer.com and sign up as a new user. What is your initial impression of our website? Do you immediately understand what the website’s purpose is? Why or why not?

My first impression to the web page was: it is cluttered.
Proper explanation of how it work must be on the home page and then from there on, you move. I’m not a Internet fundi, so for me it was not obvious how to do it. A big changed needed: ‘how it works’ is at the bottom, Let it pop up at the ‘HOME’ button, I would have saved so much time if i saw it at the begining.

Select an active brainstorming session and post a response. What do you think of the experience? Is it straight-forward and easy or complicated?
dThere is no proper explanations how to work the brain storming.
The earning medals…? And the main purpose of this website is brain storming, and did not really saw the YELLOW button at the top.  My advise is use more market orientated colouringl
Is it clear how you will receive your prizes if you win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal within a brainstorming session?
    NO, it is  was confusing.
Would you use the Crowd Stormer service as part of your role or job description? If so, in what scenarios would you use it?
If, it is my business, and my employees is using it, I would not allow it, because they will take to much time to figure it out…

The site looked clean and professional.  Sign-in was quick and easy.  I like the idea of the website, an internet brainstorming session.  These sessions can be very helpful to the decision-making process.  All ideas being welcome is integral to the brainstorming process.

Is it clear how you will receive your prizes if you win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal within a brainstorming session?

It was clear how the prizewinners will be selected, but not clear on how one would receive a prize. ie: Paypal, check, etc.Would you use the Crowd Stormer service as part of your role or job description? If so, in what scenarios would you use it?

Would you use the Crowd Stormer service as part of your role or job description? If so, in what scenarios would you use it?
I would definitely use this service as an “idea pool” for starting a business, or to generate fresh ideas for writing my novel.

Currently, each brainstorming response can be viewed by all participants – however it can only be rated out of 5 stars by the Session Creator. Do you think the brainstorming responses should be rated by all participants, or just by the Session Creator?
By the Session Creator.  They are paying the fee, and the responses should be rated by which ones are most valuable to them.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
The site could use higher contrast in the color scheme.

  8. Please visit https://www.crowdstormer.com and sign up as a new user. What is your initial impression of our website? Do you immediately understand what the website’s purpose is? Why or why not?
Done. Yes, the purpose was pretty clear from the beginning. The landing page conveyed the idea quite well. I really like the idea. It’s an economical think tank. With a large enough group of participants, you can be fairly confident to receive some well though out responses/suggestions/input. This sounds like something that would appeal to creative thinkers and give them an immediate outlet. Solid concept.

Select an active brainstorming session and post a response. What do you think of the experience? Is it straight-forward and easy or complicated?
There are no active brainstorming sessions. I looked over the create-your-own page, so I could understand the pricing and options better. The price points have to reflect the lack of a guarantee as to the quality of responses, or the background of expertise of the participants, but even so, this is definitely not something a contributor would be making any real money with. I suppose most people make nothing and the top two or three get part of the pool, whatever it may be. Not profitable for the participants, but a solid resource for businesses/your clients.

Is it clear how you will receive your prizes if you win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal within a brainstorming session?
The bottom of the help section adequately explains compensation. It’s trivial at best, and almost seems like an afterthought to me. The copy on the page is a little off, it could be improved. the first sentence under #4 contains an obvious error. Obvious grammatical errors kill it for me.

Would you use the Crowd Stormer service as part of your role or job description? If so, in what scenarios would you use it?
I would consider this service as a client, but not as a participant, unless it were merely for fun or to practice my writing skills. The internet is full of some surprisingly innovative and creative people and a resource like this would be very tempting to try out, even if just for a single run. The price point is what does it for me. I would be interested in seeing a mock-up of the results from another question, preferably from an actual project. It’s the kind of service I would think about recommending to other people. Places like this tend to attract regular contributors, and with a decent lot of them, you could build a reputation for positive and useful results.

Currently, each brainstorming response can be viewed by all participants – however it can only be rated out of 5 stars by the Session Creator. Do you think the brainstorming responses should be rated by all participants, or just by the Session Creator?
I think the session creator is the boss here. that’s the client; that’s who you defer to. They should have the option to do it themselves, let the community do it, or both. Some people wont have the time or motivation for ratings since they already have the info they need. I guarantee you, this will be an issue sooner or later. Your participants will start to complain that they are waiting for clients to judge. It’s going to happen. So set it up so that the client chooses to do it themselves, or let the community do it. ONE vote per CONTRIBUTOR, not anybody on the site who wants to vote. That’s an excuse for cheating and buying winners with friendship instead of quality. Bad news for good contributors. They’ll leave. you dont want to lose them. Make sure the contributors can only vote once, and not for themselves. Or, you could just do it yourself if the client doesnt want to. Thats as fair as it gets, as long as you are impartial.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

Again, solid concept with potential, but it’s the kind of place where you need to see the results. Get some testimonials from clients about the great idea they got that improved customer service, or bettered their business. In order to attract customers, show them that $10 can turn into a $1000 idea. that’s what you play on. the gambling aspect of it, except you sell it as a guaranteed win. The site seems a little bland, even though I didnt get to participate in a question/answer session. There’s no feeling of community. Just a lonely little website. It’s not ugly, or inefficient, just impersonal. Okay, I just noticed the $2 Paypal withdrawal fee. That screams “As little as we’re going to pay you when you happen to win, we’re going to try to take that back as well.” That just turned me off completely. No need for it. If you can’t afford to hand out a dollar for well written and intelligent dialogue that’s useful to your client, you need to raise your price on the other end.

    Hope that helps
