About CrushBlvd:

Everyday we interact with many people through the internet, as technology has enabled us to create deeper, more lasting relationships with many of them. Facebook is a place to connect with family and friends. LinkedIn is a place to connect with colleagues. CrushBlvd is a place to connect with beautiful people. The blonde bombshell whose killer smile makes men weak in the knees. The tall, masculine hunk that melts the hearts of women at first glance. Or, your own ravishing friends that you invite to join.

  1. I like the look and feel but because it is so busy it is hard to read text and I think I might loose interest quickly in the site,  I also felt like many of the Text at top and under crush blvd just made it more difficult.  Facebook is on there 2 times, which is excessive for a busy page.

On a positive note as I scrolled down away from the “PARTY” it was much better organized and laid out.  I felt like I had my interest captivated more, plus the pretty girls helped for me as a man, and it gave me a better idea of what I would be getting into.

I hope you find these comments useful and I would be happy to answer more questions in a followup if you have such need.

    Sincerely,
    Christopher D. Everingham, Sr,

Another social network, this time pandering to the vanity of users by calling them beautiful.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
The way the site is presented. It seems too elitist, where only the beautiful are allowed. This is not a bad thing if that is the target audience, but if the low self-esteem people should browse it, they might hate the site. The design is good though. Very nicely done.

No. First, though I don’t consider myself as not attractive, I do feel that I might not be attractive enough and that the more beautiful people might make fun of me.

How do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like beautifulpeople.com and hotornot.com?
Your site trumps both sites in terms of design. And honestly, though I mentioned above I wouldn’t sign up outright, compared to both competitors, I’d rather sign up with your site. beautifulpeople.com looks like a sleazy dating website, especially when you scroll down. Though the top part is decent enough. While hotornot.com is one of those sites that can rear its ugly head on those not beautiful enough. I find that site too mean to be truly social.

The site is beautifully made and is attractive enough, though I might have to reword the copy on top since not all people might consider themselves beautiful. Even if you mean inside and out, the picture suggests it is only for those who look good physically.

  3. Thanks Christopher for your feedback. We have considered some of your opinion and changed our homepage. It’s much simpler and right to the point.

  4. Thanks Frazam for your feedback. As you well know, there are many social networking websites out there. But no one has developed a website like ours. We wanted CrushBlvd to be unique and target the niche market.
Nevertheless, you don’t have to be beautiful to join. We allow anybody to join, connect with other members, and build their network through our website. Unlike beautifulpeople.com (a completely biased website), we don’t dump or reject ‘ugly’ members. Visitors from all over the world vote and decide if new pending exclusive users are qualified to be an exclusive member. For users who scores less than average, they’ll automatically become a general member.
We want everyone to take a shot at becoming an exclusive member, beautiful or not. According to a research, a person with low self-esteem tend to think of himself/herself as not attractive but most of the time, others think opposite.
Try CrushBlvd and see for yourself.
