1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?  When first looking at the homepage I notice the logo first, but I wish the tagline “Data as Knowledge…” was right underneath that as it is hard to easily identify what this site is and having the line in the red bar does not make it pop out.  I like the icons and the links shown in the red bar as they are giving me ways to find out what this product is.  I like the simple, graphical nature of the page, but I do not like the fonts used to the right of the logo, they don’t seem to match the rest of the page.  I like that there is a Try It button as I am not clear what the product is although I know it has something to do with info shown in a visual way.  I also like the 3 step icons and descriptions on the second half of the page as they start to spell out what I can do with this product and it is easy to review this information.  But I don’t think the 3 icons used represent the steps that are described, I would pick another visual to represent this.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing? Â I looked for more information on what the product is and how much it costs. Â It was pretty easy to find this information using the links in the top red bar. Â I really like the 3 steps as listed in the What Is It link, I would move this to the homepage as it got me more engaged with the product and made me want to try it out. Â I love the use of the rainbow colors, it feels fresh and different. Â I am still not 100% sure what type of data I would load into the system or who is the client for this product. Â It seems like it is both a consumer and corporate product, but I am not sure how I would personally use it. Â Also, I would like the “Influencer” concept explained a bit more.
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)? Â I could see trying this out as I think that would be the way to see what type of data could be used with this product. Â It is free and they offer 3 easy steps, so it doesn’t seem like it would be a financial or time commitment to at least check it out.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why? Â I took a look at Visual.ly and my first impression is that the home page is much more cluttered than Vizalizer. Â I do like that they give several real world examples of how this data can be used as I get a much clearer idea of why I or someone would use this product and I was not clear with that when looking at the Vizalizer site. When I look at the How We Work section this is also more cluttered than Vizalizer as I am not being led through the page, but the descriptions are more detailed and I leave with a much clearer idea of how I can use this for myself and my small business. Â I prefer Visual.ly because the information is more detailed and clear, but I prefer the look of Vizalizer overall.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have. Â This is a relatively new concept for most personal consumers and small businesses, so I would give several clear examples of what you can do with this product right away on the homepage. and use icons that relate more to what is being said. Â Also, a screenshot of how it would look on my page or presentation would be nice. Â Thank you.

1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
The initial impression based on the homepage is very confused. I see the word “Infographics” in big font, so I assume it is for creating infographics, however the tab at the top of my internet browser says: “Vizalizer| Social Network for…”
So it is a social network or an infographics creator? Your homepage says that you are a social network for creating analyzing and sharing quality Data Visualizations.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
Because you are trying to gain a foothold, you need to show examples of real content you have on the homepage, and allow others to browse through infographics. All you need to do is put a watermark on them so people cannot steal them without your watermark.
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I went to sign up and it was very frustrating. First the Captcha is putting extra o’s which is messing up the phrase, then it blanked out my info. Now if I am getting frustrated, I know other people are. People don’t want to have to register just to see what content you have. You have to make it accessible to everyone to see before registering. I think you need to change this.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why? I think your biggest competitor is Behaze. They obviously have been around for a while and their website allows people to browse without first logging in or being a member. This is what you need to change about your website.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
A) My biggest issue is with the homepage. This is your business card to sell. However, there is no incentive for me to watch your video, and that is basically all that is above the fold on your homepage. It just doesn’t seem very compelling to use, and most people that aren’t content publishers don’t care about infographics.
Â
B) You can’t establish a brand name if people have no clue about the quality of your content. You need to show it off in a way that people can see.
C) You need to have your content on other sites like pinterest to generate interest that will draw people back to your website.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
The first thing I notice when I visit your site is the word InfoGraphic done right, I don’t really get what it means. I have some curiosity(interest) in finding out more therefore i look more further to play the video and I start to get it what the site is about. I also visited your “What is it?” page to get more idea, when i go back to the homepage then I can hardly see that you actually did explain what your site do in short which is above the Try it now button. It means that the presentation of the work is hardly noticeable, which i suggest you could re-arrange the location of it below the infographic done right title or in between your logo and the infographic done right which there is an empty face and i feel it look weird as too much blank spaces in your web page. I also notice that in your video, you used one minute to talk about the concept of your site and then you just show us how your site works and what are the features. for the first one minute of the video I don’t get what I want to know which is what you is it the site really do. Also the sample templates of visualization you shared, i hope i can click on it and have a bigger view. It is because i can’t really see a thing as it is too small.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
Firstly, i want to know what is this site about, and i get it from what is it page or by watching the video. Which it take some time. If there is normal visitors, they might not be that patient to look for more they might just leave the page and try another. Secondly, i wanted to know how to use the feature that you provide and how to use it, i also find it in your what is it page with the 3 simple steps you provided. I think that make everything clear. You should include that in your homepage. Thirdly, I look for sign up and also is it free or require some subscription, i click into the pricing page and you got a basic and also professional option. The option you provided is great as you also provide a corporation for people who want to have own customization and allow people to ask for quotation. Â Â
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Yes, as you have a basic option which is free, i would likely to try it as i also need this kind of feature to present my works. Which i think it is very useful and also save a lot of time.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
https://visualizing.org/Â since it is a .org i guess it is for free. My initial impression for visualizing.org is that the sites look professional in this field. The way they present they services is much more interesting and attractive. What i look for in the site is how the process of creating a visualization works. But i couldn’t find it. It means that i have to sign up and then try it to know how it works. In your site you explained the 3 simple steps which let me have some idea about how does it works. Besides this, their site provides galleries which i can see a lot of sample from there. The thing that lack in your site is the professionalism. The layout is not really that attractive.Â
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Overall, it is still a very good site. Probably you need to organize the sample template of visualization that you shown on the homepage into a galleries or into a slideshows. You can also have a slideshow in your homepage to display what the site is about. Putting the 3 simple steps inside. The colour of the layout, you can change into a brighter and more energetic which would look more professional.
Good luck.Â

1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
Â
I see a clean space, where the colors in the logo, tie into the colors in the video. The cover photo for the video has an intriguing pattern that makes me want to click to view.
Â
I also see space that might be better utilized. When Vizalizer becomes a well-known brand, then having the logo as a standalone might enough, like McDonald’s golden arches. Right now, the logo by itself seems incomplete. While it is true that we view web pages in a Z, I don’t want to wait for my eye to travel to the right to see what the logo is about. Therefore, if you put the “Infographics done right†underneath, next to, or even through the logo, it would work better for my eyes.
Â
Additionally, the last I heard, web pages are viewed for only six seconds on average before the visitor decides whether to stay or leave. Therefore, it would be helpful to have the statement: “We are an exlusive [exclusive is misspelled] Social Network for creating, analyzing and sharing quality Data Visualizations†in the header. So that: “Infographics done right†is the tag with “We are an exclusive . . .†as clarity right below or right next to it. Again, once Vizalizer is well-known, this might not be necessary, but at this stage, it really is.
Â
Also, if all the information above the fold (scroll) were resized, you might be able to fit the three features (starting with “Select, load and publish in minutesâ€), as well as the three recommendations above the fold and still look uncluttered.
Â
If I were you, I’d play with this and see how it works.
Â
The video isn’t clear. Is Vizalizer a collaboration tool? Or is it like SlideShare where people share their presentations, only these are infographics rather than slideshows? Is this just for sharing data in graphs, charts, and tables or is it also for presentations that use clip art and photos.
Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
Â
Not everyone knows what an infographic is, there, I wanted to see examples of your infographics. Rather than scrolling down the home page to find them, I was more inclined to look for a link.
Â
Also, the infographics on the home page are all very similar in nature in that the graphics are all graphics, charts, tables, which appear to be support a report or other written material. The infographics I’ve seen utilize the broader scope of the term to include photos and any non-audio/video visualization: clip art, photos, etc. What I’m accustomed to seeing is more like the “What Is It?†page.
Â
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Â
Not yet. Not until I understand your purpose better. You see, I’m a career professional. One of the things I do is help job seekers with their marketing. People are beginning to experiment with using infographic résumés, which can include clip art and photos. And if these infographics could then be integrated with LinkedIn, Facebook fan pages, websites, etc. that would be something I’d be interested in exploring more.
Â
This is would be just as true for businesses seeking to market their products and services.
Â
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
Â
I went to visual.ly, which is much like I have been describing. It provides the ability to add all kinds of graphics.
Â
Its home page shows parts of infographics designed by users. This is above the fold and clearly shows the variety of infographics possible. These also are obviously current since one is about Sharknado.
Â
Maybe the purpose of your sites are different. Maybe yours is for data information sharing specifically in the form of graphs, charts, and tables in support of written material, while visual.ly is for sharing fun stuff and marketing.
Â
And it is visual.ly that I chose to bookmark, not Vizalizer.
Â
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Â
If I had one comment it would be to make it easier for me to understand the exact purpose of what you are doing? If it is to create infographics using graphs, charts and tables in support of a written material, is that what people are looking for in their infographics? And would they want to share it here or would they want to be able to include it in broader online sharing tools, such as GoToMeeting or Huddle? Have you done the market research to find out?
