    1) Visit https://www.Fishdox.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
It is a site that help sales person to manage, share and track the files of customers. I am drawn to click the play button on the video. Viewing the homepage does not give me a real idea of what the site is about so i decided to watch the video for more details. I watched the video and it did not explained very well. The video contain some screenshot of the process for the service, I could not understand how it works and I do not understand some of the screenshot in the video. What I need to know is a clear explanation on what the site is about and a step by step instruction of how it works. For the video, I suggest you could add a voice explanation on the process of how it works instead of the music. It would be more useful and more understandable with a person explaining what it is rather than only music with some short description.
    2) Are you encouraged to sign up for an account? If not, why?
At this stage, no, because I am not a sales person, in the future I might come back to try the service if I need it or it make my work so much easier. For sales person, they would sign up for it. But you have to make sure that you present the site in a clear and straightforward way.
    3) What competitors of fishdox come to mind?
No, I am not familiar with this service. So, I did some google search about sales proposal services. I found that there are several sales proposal system out there such as https://www.proposalsoftware.com/ and https://www.biztree.com. Base on what i see from this two site, their site is more professional providing lots of features. Your service is focus on the main process of sales proposal. You still can improve the features, maybe add something that others don’t have or your service is more simpler and fast, example like a one click to complete process.
    4) If you are in sales would you use this product?
Yes, But I would like to try it before I really get into it. I want to know whether the service suit my needs and also it’s convenience to use on. User-friendliness is important for the features you provided.
    5) Would you pay for this product? How much per month?
I would pay for this product if I tried it and it’s useful and I like it. I cannot just simply estimate a price to pay because I do not know how much the market price is and how much it worth. So I decided to sign up and try it myself. The sign up process is simple and easy, I do not face any problem during the sign up process. After I successfully signup, What i see is the ‘Files’ section with the button to upload or create a file. I created a file and shared it. The process is simple and easy. I can view the file that i create under the files section. In my file, I can view the files that i uploaded, file that i shared and the activity. That’s all for the features that I see and tried. It is very straightforward and easy to use. Now, I can estimate a price that i would pay, it’s approximately 5$ per month and it’s for the size of files can be uploaded. The price might be lower due to not much features is on it. Base on what you have, you can create few package for the user. Each of the package price different is base on the size of the files can be uploaded.
    6) What features or direction would you recommend for Fishdox?
I would recommend more features on business aspects. Such as analysis and report. Also, in the files section, if a user have create 100 of files, it would be hard for them to search for a single file. A search bar that allow user to type the file name and it will auto search for the file with the similar name and display it to the user. It would be much more fast and convenience.

From what I see, you feature not only can be use for a sales person, others industries might be useful to use it too. Such as accounting firm, colleges or university and students. They can easily share any files regarding their work through your service.
    7) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I like the concept of your site by providing the files sharing service. It is useful for most of the businessman. For the homepage, besides a video, you can change it into a slideshow that display the concept of what the site is about. You also can include a few steps of how the site works with short explanation on it. The video can be and optional for the visitor whether they want to watch it for more detail or not.

  2. 1) Visit https://www.Fishdox.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
First thing I see is your logo. I think it is really nice and looks very professional. I then see the video. I don’t see how customer file sharing and sales forecasting are related. What I am saying is that a site should solve someone’s problems or issues, and I see customer file sharing as one thing and sales forecasting as totally separate area.

    2) Are you encouraged to sign up for an account? If not, why?

No. I do not need sales forecasting or file sharing at this time.
    3) What competitors of fishdox come to mind?
None, if I stretch myself, I could see file sharing sites, but I am not familiar with sales forecasting sites.

    4) If you are in sales would you use this product?

Probably, depending on your prices/rates. I always consider the free service first, and then if it doesn’t meet my needs, then I look to the pay services as a last resort. I don’t see a price page. Is your service free? If it is, you need to make that very clear on your homepage, because this is a major selling point. If it is not free, this also needs to be addressed with a pricing page.
    5) Would you pay for this product? How much per month?

As I said, I personally don’t need sales forecasting at this time, so no. But as a general rule, I would use the free software over pay services first.

    6) What features or direction would you recommend for Fishdox?

Here’s the thing, the video is very visionary, but I don’t see you using the real features of the software in the video. It shows at :42 sec emailing a customer. Well, I don’t need your service to email a customer. I want to see things that I cannot do without your software. It says “track your customers” and then I want to see your interface, not a picture of a guy strolling down the street with an iPad. I don’t feel like I am seeing your real services.
    7) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

    i) Your homepage logo, icons and page look pretty good. I would recommend changing the background behind “Fishdox beta.” Not fond of the stripes. looks like window blinds. I would also use a better font for your “Login and sign up” buttons. Something thicker, may IMPACT font. “Questions? Comments? Ideas? and “Email us at…” is almost not visible. You want this to be clearer. White on light blue/light gray is not a good way to be seen.

ii)There are really not a lot of actionable things to do on your page, after watching the video. You can log in, and click on Fishdox logo (but that doesn’t take you anywhere new). Since you have no navigation buttons at the top, I assumed that the “Stay Organized, Share with Customers, and Track and forecast” were buttons to other pages where you further elaborate on these features. Seems like you need more pages with more content.

Not enough information on homepage to get me hooked or sell me on your product/services. I am not saying put more chunks of info. (paragraphs). I am saying be more strategic with a plan of attack for the eyes, have better selling points, and convince the visitors that we need your services.

  3. 1. First impression? Home page looks attractive–simple, clean layout, crisp color, and concise, straightforward text. My first instinct is to watch the video because it’s so large and centrally placed, and after looking around the home page, there doesn’t seem to be anything else to click on anyway.

    2. I can’t say yet. Unfortunately, I had a really hard time watching the video. It looks like a Vimeo video, and for whatever reason, I can never get them to play smoothly. I always get lots of delays and jerky frames, and in this case, it made it hard for me to get a sense of Fishdox. (FYI, this was in Firefox 10. In IE 9, the video didn’t even load, period. I’m on a new, pretty powerful desktop that handles other streaming without a hitch, so that’s not the problem.) I *did* manage to see that you set up your video like a big blockbuster movie trailer parody, and I got a chuckle out of that. I also glimpsed some of the screenshots, but it was a bit too much to take in at once. I can definitely say you piqued my interest, but I don’t have enough info to tell you if I’d sign up yet.

    3. A quick search helped me identify Fishdox as CRM software. Is that accurate? Since I’m not in sales, I’m not that familiar with what’s available to sales professionals. However, I can see that you’d probably have some competitors in salesforce.com, salesnexus.com, act.com, and numerous other sites that provide similar software, all of which turn up easily on Google. As for how your software compares, I simply don’t have enough information about it to know yet.

    4. I’m not in sales, but if I was, again, it would seem premature to make a decision one way or the other based on a short introductory video.

    5. Once more, this just seems like a premature question. But your cloud-based competitors appear to be all over the place. You’ve got some charging just a couple dollars a month for one user and others charging $50 a month. Those who offer actual software charge a few hundred per user. Whatever you decide to do, my advice would be to offer several different plans so that users can pick and choose the features they want and several different tiers to accommodate the self-employed, small businesses, mid-size businesses, and large corporations. Try to price your services just under what your competitors are charging, and consider inviting users to register for a 30-day free trial. Also, you might want to give them one year of reduced rates as encouragement.

    6. It’s really hard for me to say, partly because I don’t work in sales and partly because I don’t know enough about your product yet to understand what it lacks. I signed up to see if more information would be available to me then (sign-up process was smooth and easy), but I was taken to a dashboard where my only choices were to upload a file or create a folder and mark it as my own or someone else’s. Obviously, it’s too early in the game to judge Fishdox based on this. That said, if I were you, I’d make sure you provide everything your competitors do and then some. I assume you have a background in sales yourselves and have used the existing options. What made you dissatisfied with those options? If you add the features that other options lacked and modify the features that you didn’t like, that’s a good starting point. Chances are other sales professionals will migrate over to your service when they see you’ve created solutions to those issues.

Here’s my best advice to you: Get your service up and running, and flesh out your site with other pages. Suggestions for pages: “Why Fishdox?”; “How It Works”; “FAQ”; “Pricing”; “Contact.” On the home page, replace the “coming soon” video with a real intro video that shows visitors what Fishdox can do. Create a fully functional dashboard so that members can access all of Fishdox’s features, and also make “Account” and “Help” pages available to them. After all this, come back here and ask us again to review your site. We’ll be able to give you a lot more valuable feedback when we can actually see a complete site and evaluate how the Fishdox service works. Right now, there’s just not much here to go on, so it’s hard to provide an accurate assessment.

  4. 1) Visit https://www.Fishdox.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
My first impression of fishdox.com is that this is a basic site. The name of the site: why was it called fishdox? what is the significance? I selected the video and wondered why that type of music was selected?  The music sounded spiritual or heavenly and then transferred to champion music – why? I liked the colors on the main page of this site.
    2) Are you encouraged to sign up for an account? If not, why?
I signed up for an account and would have wanted the sign-up process to be a one step process, not a two step process meaning sign up, the person gets an email and then one can complete the sign up process
    3) What competitors of fishdox come to mind?
I do not know of any competitors of this type of business.
    4) If you are in sales would you use this product?
I may use this product however I would have wanted to see more on the home page of this site.
    5) Would you pay for this product? How much per month?
I would pay for the product however I would want to see the ROI of this product: details of what I get for a monthly service, etc.  How much will Fishdox charge?  Is there an information page?
    6) What features or direction would you recommend for Fishdox?
More details are needed for this site to have more of a WOW factor.  Can one select the “Stay Organized”, “Share with Customers” and “Track and Forcast” buttons at the bottom of the page?  I would have liked to see more information when I click these buttons.
    7) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
The Facebook and Twitter logos are not the correct color. I almost did not select the logos because I thought they were disabled. So I selected the Facebook page and it looked very simple/plain.

  5. 1) Visit https://www.Fishdox.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

The site looks modern, with a clean design.  However, users are not drawn to the buttons.  They blend into the background of the site.
    2) Are you encouraged to sign up for an account? If not, why?

I am not encouraged to sign up for an account, because no information is provided on what service is being provided, or what the benefits of signing up are.

    3) What competitors of fishdox come to mind?

I’m not sure.  Being unfamiliar with this type of service, I’m also unfamiliar with competitors, and the site doesn’t offer a clear explanation of what is being offered.
    4) If you are in sales would you use this product?
No, there is not nearly enough information about the product, what is offers customers, the benefits, the costs, and other commonly asked questions to justify paying for the product.

    5) Would you pay for this product? How much per month?

Maybe, but there isn’t enough information provided to make that decision, or to determine how much the product is worth.
    6) What features or direction would you recommend for Fishdox?

Include more information on the product.  At the bottom of the site, link the text to other pages which go into further detail about each of the points presented.  Beyond the video offered, include text pages describing the product and the benefits it offers.  Include a Frequently Asked Questions sections outlining the basics of the product and answering questions about the product.  Promote the product by explaining why someone would want to pay for it.  The site doesn’t have to be too “salesy,” but it should include text making it clear what the product is and why someone would want to pay for it.

  6. 1) Visit
https://www.Fishdox.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

    > I spent about 5-10 seconds on the site and nothing on the page made me feel like clicking immediately. Maybe this is because of the colors of the icons. The Login and the Sign up buttons are highlighted in black and clicking the play button on the video will stop me from observing things right off the bat.
    2) Are you encouraged to sign up for an account? If not, why?

    > Yes. I was encouraged to sign up because of the amazing video that you have on the front page. I don’t really get exactly what it does but it looks promising.
    3) What competitors of fishdox come to mind?

    > As mentioned above that I do not really get the full grasp of the service yet. What comes to my mind as competitor is 4shared. Since we are talking about file sharing and stuff. That is the only website that I can think of.
    4) If you are in sales would you use this product?

    > I think I would. But I guess I will start using the service if I am into sales full time. Right now I am just selling stuff through our Local website for second hand gadgets.
    5) Would you pay for this product? How much per month?

    > I would if the service will help me boost my potential. Like other file share websites. I’ll pay around $5-$6 per month.
    6) What features or direction would you recommend for Fishdox?

    > I think the thing that we need to add is information about the features and services. That is one of the reason why a normal user like me was not able to understand everything that this website is providing.
    7) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
    > To be honest the website looks is okay for me. We just need to fix the colors of the icon and add stuff like “About Us” “Contact Us” “FAQ’s” etc. That’s all that I can say for now.

  7. 1) Visit https://www.Fishdox.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

Yes, I want to click “stay organized” because organization is a problem I am trying to solve.

     2) Are you encouraged to sign up for an account? If not, why?

Yes because I want to know how to “stay organized”  btw.. I am skipping the video I just want to get in.

    3) What competitors of fishdox come to mind?

Ok I signed up and now I am confused I don’t see what I can do.  I am watching the video… music is annoying.. still confused about what the product does.

After my complete review I am already using online storage.. one big problem is migration.  I don’t want to migrate.. again.. to do so for some people would be a HUGE undertaking.

    4) If you are in sales would you use this product?

Not sure yet.. I want deeper understanding.  Though, right now I am sharing files using skype.. and on occasion join.me.  Its hard enough to get customers to try something new especially if they are retail.

    5) Would you pay for this product? How much per month?

Not right now.. seems a lot of what it can do can be done for free.  But maybe there is more to it than I can see at this point.

    6) What features or direction would you recommend for Fishdox?

have this fast upload download ability.. and access control.. add in live communication.. keyboard, voice and video.  Let me share my screen and access the remote screen.  Then it would be something I would use every day but it has to be cheap.  I am doing all the above with a mishmash now.. but its free.  Would be nice to get more organized though.

    7) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

Could be a cool prog but it needs more stuff to keep me there.  Otherwise its just another tool in a crowded tool box.

  8. 1)      Visit https://www.Fishdox.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
You have a very professional looking website, with great colors but it seems like your website it missing something. Perhaps I’m just used to seeing tabs at the top of most sites that it makes me feel like I’m missing something. I see the description at the bottom of the page but there is nothing else that would tell me about your site as soon as I go to the site. I don’t see anything about your company or features that your company provides, I’m only left to watch the video for more information. I’m happy to see a video and I like that your homepage is not cluttered. Watching the video made me think I was in an action film with the dramatic music and flashes. That being said were was the in depth content of how your site works? I was won over with dramatic sounds, I still have no idea how your site operates and that is disappointing. Most of the shots in the video were so fast it is certainly a wonder how anyone could draw a conclusion to use your site. You simply retold me what your already stated at the bottom of the page in a theatrical way. I am not drawn to click other than the video because that’s the only text that would give me info. Other than that I would not be drawn to click the sign up button, even after watching the video.
    2)      Are you encouraged to sign up for an account? If not, why?
I am not encouraged to sign up for an account because I haven’t got a feel of what your site does. The proof is in the pudding and you didn’t much to the table to work with. You simply state what you do but where is the showing. If your say your service is easy than show me how easy it is with a demonstration, screen shots and or a tutorial.
    3)      What competitors of fishdox come to mind?
I don’t of any competitors of yours so I had to us google and I found a website called TinderBox. This is not the jazziest of types but it has a video and a detailed features list and it also has a testimonials. This site allows you to request a demonstration to see how it works. They have an excellent video in that there are real people telling real stories about what the product has done for them. I like the fact that they don’t go into in depth aspects of how it works because with this kind of service a simple video would turn into a movie length video. There are people from the company right in the video backing their product and telling why they came up with this site and what they saw that proposals lacked. Even though the site doesn’t go in great depth about the service the video was a great tool to show what this site can do for others.
    4)      If you are in sales would you use this product?
If I was in sales this product is something I would highly consider in makes sales proposals easier. Would I use your product parse I don’t know because I don’t know how your product works.  I would certainly had to what your features in comparison to a free software and see if what your offering is worth paying for.
    5)      Would you pay for this product? How much per month?
I would want to see if other companies are even charging user for this kind of service firstly. Secondly, I would have to have a 30 day money back guarantee.
    6)      What features or direction would you recommend for Fishdox?
For me to see how your site works I went ahead and signed up through your site. I am not a fan of the two step (username and password) process. I much rather just be able to put my password in when I sign up and then activate my account. I like when companies show my username and password in my activation email if it a password that I make up or that they assign. That being said the process was easy enough. I got to your page and it seems pretty straight forward from there on. I created a file, upload a file and then sent to another email address that I own. As I looked at my e-mail the first thing it said was about activation of my account. If this person is not a fishdox user then why would they be listed firstly? That was a little off putting and made me think I had to be a member to view the document sent to me. Then I saw that I could view the document by clicking the link. I clicked the link and I was taken to a sign up page. I guess I was right about having to sign up your site. I feel as though who ever I send something to should be able to view it no matter what. My question is if they were to sign up then how would the process work for them in viewing my document? Would they just email me back or is there a response system in Fishdox? It seems to me that your site is nothing more than a third party in the e-mail process. Users would certainly not pay for that. In the site I listed above users were able to see what the recipient viewed and send them video. This site gives the sender clear cut information as to what really happened and it also allows them to have real conversation based on something they really and truly saw. Being internet based alone is not a selling point you need to have cutting edge features and communication. Features such as time alerts, opened document alerts, unopened document alerts, instant communication and things of that nature.
    7)      Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I think your site needs to get out there and see what competitors are doing and get some real time information to see what companies really want in software to push sales. Send mass emails and make your site more cutting edge and real. Show the passion and dedication as to why you think your site is better than others and then show us why we should us it over others. Live group demonstrations or a tutorial of feature, something to liven up your process and show us how easy it is. I think too many times companies use the word easy so that they can seem better but they fail to really give the people an in depth body of work. I would much rather take a longer time with easy process than it is so quick that nothing really happened and I pass off less than stellar work.

  9. 1) Visit https://www.Fishdox.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

The design is bright, inviting and uncluttered. It has quite a clean feel to it and reminds me a bit of Tumblr. I am drawn to the buttons (Login/Sign Up) given that they are prominently displayed on the screen.
    2) Are you encouraged to sign up for an account? If not, why?

To be honest, not particularly. While you have a short introductory video on the homepage and a few simple descriptions toward the bottom, a more detailed description would be beneficial. I’m not getting a clear idea of all that your website is about unfortunately just by scanning the page.
    3) What competitors of fishdox come to mind?

I’m cannot come up with any website that offers a file sharing service oriented towards sales proposals and similar. I’d say at this point that many of your competitors would be the usual file sharing/cloud storage type websites.

    4) If you are in sales would you use this product?

I would consider it. Nonetheless, I’d like to have more information as to how your website would work exactly and what special benefits it could offer salespeople over other alternatives.
    5) Would you pay for this product? How much per month?

It depends how much space you were offering and what other perks you would include. For a very basic package, somewhere in the vicinity of $0-5.
    6) What features or direction would you recommend for Fishdox?

Be more clear about your intent. Your design is fine but you really must work on pitching the website to prospective users. The video and short descriptions at the bottom only leaves me with a hazy view and makes me all the more inclined to seek alternatives. Persuade us! If you want others to begin using your website for the storage and sharing of what may be pretty sensitive material, you need to inspire confidence.
    7) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

Make sure you can communicate your purpose clearly before you begin advertising your service. Overall it’s a good concept. All the best of luck!

  10. 1) Visit https://www.Fishdox.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not? From when I first went into the site, the video immediately had me drawn to it. I was curious. The video looked very interesting . T o my understanding of the video it s for sales reps. to track and manage the files of their clients.                                                 `                                                                                                                                                  2) Are you encouraged to sign up for an account? If not, why?  To be honest if I was a sales rep. I would use the site. It looks as if it’s a useful tool where I can keep track as to be organized and keep track with customers, etc.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           3) What competitors of fishdox come to mind? This has been my first time knowing sites like these exist. But, I have done a little researching. To be frank, compared to other sites this site is a bit simple. The other sites been more complex. Maybe to boost your site a bit more.Maybe you can look at other site like these and get a few ideas and maybe make your own.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   4) If you are in sales would you use this product? If I were in sales. I would most definitely think about it.                                                                                                                                                           5) Would you pay for this product? How much per month?   As simple as it looks maybe ten dollars a month.  But, as I said before I am not a sales rep. so maybe others that do know more about sales might think differently and have a better understanding of what to do with the site.                                                                                                                                                                                                       6) What features or direction would you recommend for Fishdox? I would say other than the video alone maybe when others sign up. Maybe you can give a little more of a written instruction on what to do to give others a better idea on what to do for starting in your site for the first time.                                                                                                                                                                                                       7) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.  I would say maybe if given a bit more instruction after signing up it can help others have a better start and knowledge of what can be done with the site. Furthermore, I would say maybe add more features to give others more options on what they can work with in this particular site. The video I wouldn’t change it’s eye catching. But, a bit more work on the site can make it a success.

  11. More content can be added on the website to make it attractive. The website should clearly explain how to go about using it. I would not register at the onset without more details being given on the home page. I would initially take a 14 day trial and then pay 5 USD per month for using the product.

  12. 1)First impressions: the site design is cool, very template-ish though could use personal design. Cool colors for the site, but the site is lacking serious detail or content. The information is displayed nicely, short & sweet, but it still doesn’t help convey what the software does. There is no excitement behind it, making it look flimsy & light-weight, it doesn’t look like a very well constructive service because it doesn’t say much about itself.
2)Sign up or not?: I wasn’t encourage to sign-up because I was encouraged to by the site itself, even if its in beta.
3)Competitors?: Can’t think of much, that why this can be a great software for project management & customer service. It deserves to be bookmarked & its progress, tracked.
4)Would You Use It?: Maybe, need more convincing. It looks like it could be cool way to communicate with fans & customers by providing accessibility
5)Would You Pay?: If it proves to be a honest application in developing my business I would. I would pay $10-25 a month.
6)Features & Recommendations?: It could be vastly improved if it imploded more diverse mechanics of handing files, forwarding documents, & communicating with customers. It could be a vital attachment to a virtual office. Its needs more construction where it could a awesome desktop app. Alerts & Timers could make great features for those always on the go.
