  1. 1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
My first impressions are that this is a site for sharing emotions as the line “Share emotions!” was the first thing I saw. This is my first time of seeing a site like this so I immediately though “What for?”. I was thinking that of there already tons of other social networking sites but as I scrolled further down to the “The Latest Emotions” section, I had a better understanding of the idea behind FixFeel. Compared to other sites, FixFeel simply focuses on the moods. It felt fun looking at the posts. The users’ posts aren’t in English but the added photos and videos made them look interesting.
The map at the banner was also a fun thing to explore. The legends at the bottom helped me easily identify what the colored areas in the map are.
I felt the color scheme was too plain. It is nice because it is simple but the gray tones makes me feel like the site is boring.

I wanted to know what FixFeel is all about and what is it for. The About page was easy to navigate to and it’s contents easily answered my questions.
I find the Map link a bit confusing. I clicked on it thinking it is a sitemap or something related to the site because it is together with the Search, Language and About link. Maybe it would be better if it is separated from the other links or highlighted differently since it is like one of the main features of the site.

I like the idea behind the site but I feel like most of it’s users speak Russian. I tried looking for English posts but there was hardly any. If there were more English posts, I would definitely try signing up. It looks simple and focuses only on emotions. It makes browsing through the posts and exploring other peoples moods interesting. I also like the feature of being able to add photos and videos to your posts.

I searched “share emotions online” and visited justfoff.com. It is similar such that it allows users to share their emotions and create short posts about them except that justfoff is focused on venting and ranting. I like justfoff’s feature of submitting Anonymously but I think FixFeel is better.
I like that FixFeel is about different kinds of moods and not just about ranting. I also prefer the way the posts are presented in a grid making it easier to browse through. FixFeel also feels more inviting to post to. Including photos and videos in posts is also a big plus.

I like the idea behind FixFeel. I am not familiar with sites like this but I found myself liking the idea of sharing my moods.  FixFeel also makes meeting new people more fun.
I like the simplicity but I think the site might just need some added color to break the gray tones. Navigating around the site, exploring moods and people’s profiles is easy.
I hope there will be more diversity in the countries since one of its features is the world’s mood map. This might put off some users from signing up but all in all, it is a fun site to explore and stick around with.
