I don’t like the red and pink color scheme. The red conveys a sense of urgency, which is what I think the company is trying to do, but the pink doesn’t really harmonize well with it, in my opinion. It looks like this page allows users to complete tasks to earn merchandise or coupons. It looks like there are looks to useful information on the home page, which is good.

I want to find some information about how the prizes/rewards are given out, and what kind of tasks need to be completed to earn these rewards. I am going to click on the “How It Works?” link on the top of the page. OK, I have read the overview of “How It Works?” but I still don’t know much about the nature of the tasks that need to be completed. There are some kinds of tasks of which I would be suspicious, like signing up for newsletters, liking a Facebook page, completing free trial offers, etc. So I would like to see an example of what kinds of tasks there are, and also perhaps a list of tasks which are not allowed. I am going to look now at the FAQ page, to see if my questions are answered there.
OK, there is one really confusing sentence in the FAQ, under the section, “How will I accomplish a task?” The sentence reads, “Then you will have to learn the remaining time to the new task on the table to the left of the deal in the red box below the picture of the deal or from the area in which you have accomplished the task.” It is too early in the morning for me to try to parse what that means. 🙁
I have finished reading the FAQ, and I still don’t know exactly what type of tasks are required. I will now read the “about freepion” link. This information still doesn’t answer my question. I have not found what I was looking for.

I am somewhat encouraged to create a new account. If the tasks are such that I would not mind doing them, then I would like the $50 Amazon gift card, which is currently displayed on the home page.

OK, IÂ have entered “free gifts” in Google, and the first results is FreebieMachine.com. They have a video on their homepage, so I will watch it. OK, it looks like FreebieMachine.com offers free merchandise, but only if you sign up for a service. Ugh, it seems you need to become an affiliate and sign people up under you for some of their deals. I will avoid FreebieMachine; I much prefer to try out Freepion which doesn’t appear to have these unsavory aspects to its deals.

It is not clear what happens to the points I earn towards a reward if I am not one of the first people who complete the tasks and earn the reward. I assume they are lost?
On the home page, next to the picture of the Amazon gift card, it says “2 people accomplish the tasks to get this deal.” Does this mean that 2 people have already accomplished the tasks, or that a further 2 people can accomplish the tasks?
I can see many ways that the points awarded for the tasks could be weighted to annoy people and make it impossible to complete the goal. Like if the first task pays 100, but then later ones pay 50, then 20, then 10, then 1 point…It could be virtually impossible to earn the reward, depending on what the tasks are.
There really needs to be more clarification of what kinds of tasks are common, and if there are any tasks that Freepion will not allow advertisers to have. I would like to try Freepion out, but I really don’t want to see any “Complete one of the five special offers,” or “sign up to our newsletter!” or “search these words in Google and click on our webiste in the results” types of tasks. It would be nice if freepion addressed these concerns in the FAQ.
