About FSAStore:

When Founder Jeremy Miller created two Flexible Spending Account plans in his prior jobs as an added benefit for employees, he saw firsthand some of the frustrations and issues with employees fully utilizing their FSA accounts. This became even more evident toward the end of the year when many employees had money left in their accounts and there was not a clear cut way to spend the remaining funds.

That was when the idea for FSAStore.com was created, a place where it is easy to shop FSA Eligible Products, Learn about FSA Accounts, and Search Eligible Doctors in your Area. The site was officially launched June 20, 2010 and from then on the business has evolved into the goal of offering the best customer shopping experience online. FSAStore.com now has 20 people working together across the globe to make FSAStore.com the best one-stop shop for Flexible Spending Accounts. With the coming healthcare changes around the corner, FSAStore.com aims to help each and every customer navigate the FSA landscape with ease.

  1. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on https://www.fsastore.com. What do you think the site is about?

-During the 5-10 seconds on the site. I think it is an online store. That says’ free shipping on order above $50, which is I think is great.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. What do you find bothersome? What do you like?

-In complete honesty I find the images at the middle part of the page bothersome. It is like one of those images I see on spam emails. If you can make it more attractive specially the products then that’ll be good. I like the construction of the site itself. The position of banner, the links, the search box and the categories just below it. The site is user-friendly there’s no need to learn for yourself what to do since the buttons that you need to click are highlighted and emphasized which is I’d say really good.

Would you purchase products in FSAStore.com? If not, why?

-If the site will give importance to the security of my information’s and If the items that I’m looking for are in this site then yes, I will purchase products from it since I do love promos and discounts the free delivery promo attracts me to purchase products right at this moment.

What do you think of the sign up process?

-I was surprise with he sign up process. Honestly I am not comfortable with it, its really quick and easy in my opinion, no confirmation email, no name fields and whatnot, just email address and password.

What do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like drugstore.com?

-I checked on the website drugstore.com and I’d say that I like being in your site rather on drugstore.com for these specific reasons. First of all, the appearance of the website itself. Your website is more attractive, the positioning of contents are correct, the search tags or functions are not redundant, the ads are also on the correct position in my opinion which is at the bottom part of the page. If I’m a typical customer, appearance of the site is important for me because that shows how much effort the company puts into their business and that makes me feel secure. Also in your site, it is self explanatory that you can use any major credit cards to shop unlike on drugstore.com. Also, you might as well consider the location of the user, like on the drugstore.com website, they were able to identify where I am located. That gave me the impression that they will be able to provide service in my location. You might as well do the same because that is awesome.

-May I put this on the last part?

What do you think of our tagline: “FSAStore.com – The One-Stop Shop for Flexible Spending Accounts.” What would you like to change to if you are the marketer?

-I think the tagline “The Flexible Spending Account Site” Is ok, but maybe you can use your shops’ tagline (if there’s any) so that people who purchase products from you directly will also see the same tagline on the internet. You’re tagline is not that hard to remember and also not so easy to remember, so if you can make the tagline shorter and use more common words on it. That’ll be better I think since your site is like a drugstore then the target audience will be most likely “Everyone”. If you’re tagline is easy to remember, then your website will be easily remembered as well.

    Constructive/Creative Criticism and Comments:

-First of all I would like to point out the white space or the blank space on your site. You can add additional feature or contents on those space. Or if you don’t have any to add. Maybe some ads will make use of those space so that it will not be dull. I understand that this is like a drugstore so the atmosphere should be clean, but the site being all white is not attractive in my opinion. Maybe you can add more colors to it. Green / Red or any common, bright, attractive colors that you can think of. And maybe you can make the font size larger on the category part, when I hover my mouse pointer on the products for example “Baby Care” The text on the menu that appears on the right side are small. If I am an old man I would not be abele to read them. Even though users can make the font larger themselves by holding the ctrl key + scroll  up on the mouse. Some of the users doesn’t know how to do that. Maybe you can consider them as well.

-Like what I said above, the registration part is so easy. I think it’ll be more appropriate to let user sign in / sign up first before they can add products on the cart. Also if you can send a confirmation email on the user so that it’ll be more secure for both parties. You knowing that the email used is authentic and the user will know that your website is responding correctly. And upon registration maybe you can also add a checkbox that will ask user if they want to receive email updates if there are new products on the site and you will include the link on the email. That’ll save the user the time to keep visiting the site just to check for new stuff.
-Since this is an online store maybe you can use some social networking sites like facebook and twitter since those sites are commonly used by people. That’ll also help you advertise your products in a good way. And not only the products but the site itself as well.

-Now for the good parts, I know I should just emphasize this but I really like the idea of Free shipping on orders more than $50 and the way you put “ground shipping only” that is so direct and that gives me the correct expectation that the shipping might take days or weeks since it’ll be shipped via ground. I also like the idea of putting the support links at the top of the site. That gave me the impression that you are really willing to help users with their queries, Impressive on that part. In addition to that. The help function is there which is very important. If you can add the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) there then that’ll be a plus.

-Overall, the site is okay. The appearance, the construction, the positioning of contents and products. Everything is okay. There are just some improvements that needs to be done. But the site itself right now is definitely okay. Good luck to you!

  2. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on https://www.fsastore.com. What do you think the site is about?
The site clearly states the type of website.  It is understood that this is a site for purchasing items for the purpose of using FSA funds.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
(Likes) The site is very easy to navigate.  I like the inclusive list on the left side of the home page.
    The screen is not cluttered.
I further appreciate the absence of advertisements!

(Bothersome)  Here is the list of errors found within the site:
Flexible Account Learning Center – When you view each categorie’s Questions/Answers, you will notice that some Q/As on the right side of the screen are positioned at the top, while others are positioned several lines down.

    fsastore.com/site/FSA-Questons.aspx:
Provide a better way to draw attention to the “Click here to learn the basics.  Then browse the site to become an expert” – Also add a period after “expert”.

#1 (answer) on page “lets employees…not covered by your insurance policy”.  should be “not covered by their insurance policy”.

Make Find a Doctor a hyperlink.

    fsastore.com/site/FSA-Product-Eligibility-Checker.aspx:
Once you type a product into the field and click Search, the table appears.  When there is a NULL value, leave the field blank.  Most people don’t know what NULL is for in a result.

Remove spacing after “here”.  “You can find more information on frequently asked questions here , or…”

    fsastore.com/site/Doctors_Referrals.aspx:
#2 (answer) on page make Find a Doctor a hyperlink.
The 2 is missng on the right side of the screen.

    fsastore.com/site/FSAQ3.aspx:
Answer to #1 the answer reads “A. Typically…”

#4 (question) incomplete question “If I have a lot of money left in my account and the plan year is almost over.”  There should be a comma after “over” and the question allowed to continue by making the “c” in “can” lower case.

    #4 (answer) the answer reads “A. You’re…”

#6 (answer) starting a sentence with “But”???

    fsastore.com/site/FSAQ7.aspx:
#2 (answer) see him-or herself.  Take the dash out.

#4 (answer) Add comma after “disabled” and replace “and” with “or”…”not disabled, or is not a full time student.”

    fsastore.com/site/FSAQ1:
#1 (answer) Insert comma after “programs”.  “Inpatient treatment for drug or alcohol addiction, smoking cessation programs, and prescribed anti-smoking drugs.”

    fsastore.com/site/About-FSA-Store.aspx:
    Insert space above “Contact Us”
Insert space above “What We Do”
Insert space above “Want to Learn More?”

Would you purchase products in FSAStore.com? If not, why?
Yes, As long as the prices are competitive, or you will beat or match another site’s prices.
What do you think of the sign up process?
The signup process was easy, but you had to look at the bottom to find it.  Move up to the top where the user can find it more easily.  The one thing to improve this also would be to “notify” the user that the registration was successful.
What do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like drugstore.com?
This is a very clean and organized site.  Very informational pages as well as easy selection processes.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I have entered in the feedback above with the errors I noticed.

What do you think of our tagline: “FSAStore.com – The One-Stop Shop for Flexible Spending Accounts.” What would you like to change to if you are the marketer?
I thought the tagline was dead on.  During the 5-10 second look at the site initially, I knew the site’s purpose.

  3. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on https://www.fsastore.com. What do you think the site is about?

Selling medical and health supplies to people with Flexible Spending Accounts.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. What do you find bothersome? What do you like?

I cannot find obvious glitches or errors.  Nothing jumps out at me as being bothersome.  I like your layout and it seems neat and consistent.

Would you purchase products in FSAStore.com? If not, why?

I don’t know if I have (don’t think I do) a Flexible spending account.  I mean, it would help if you define it and tell your visitors why it is good and how it can help them.  Currently, it seems that if you are without a FSA, then this site is not for you.  Correct me if I am wrong, but that is how you have branded yourself with the title.

What do you think of the sign up process?

Sign up process easy and simple to do.

What do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like drugstore.com?

Drugstore.com has tabs at the top of the page (too many if you ask me, and you have your tabs along the left hand side of the page).
Drugstore.com also offers on their homepage:
    > FREE shipping*
    > FREE gifts
    > FREE samples
    > GET 5% back

I don’t see where you offer comparable deals.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

I can’t find any complaints.  I think you do a good job.

My number 1 recommendation is if your market is all people and not just ones with FSA accounts, you need to state that or make it clear your site is for everybody.

What do you think of our tagline: “FSAStore.com – The One-Stop Shop for Flexible Spending Accounts.” What would you like to change to if you are the marketer?

If I was the marketer, I would try to come up with a slogan that rhymes or sticks in a person’s head like:  “FSA is the only way!”  or  “You simply get more, at the FSA Store!”

  4. I do now see your banner, Free Shipping on orders above $50.

Additional comment on this:  If I was inclined to use your site, chances are I would not be spending this much.  Do you think your strategy should also include people who want to get 1 item and not spend $50?  If I was price comparing, I would go with the site with free shipping on all orders, or whatever offers the better deal.

  5. What do you think the site is about?
It’s a site featuring products that qualify for FSA spending.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
The home page design is great, comparable to most online pharmacies and medical supply retailers.  I like the colors, the layout, the navigation.  I like your contact info in the upper right corner, your prominent banner advertising free shipping for orders over $50, the categories in the sidebar, the tabs at the bottom…I think it’s perfect just the way it is.

My first stop was FSA Eligible Products.  You offer people three ways to find what they want–by searching the categories in the left sidebar, by searching the labeled images on the page, or by searching for something specific in the search bar.  Terrific!  To test it out, I selected Cold & Allergy and was very pleased that I was able to sort products by name, price, and featured deals.  That’s so convenient!  I clicked on a product and noticed that you listed label information, which is good.  I added it to my cart and noticed an oddity here–the default quantity in my shopping cart was 2.  I think the default should really be just 1!  I tried to make a mock purchase, at which point I got the sign-in screen.  After I signed up, the checkout process was easy.

My next stop was FSA Services, and, again, the layout was perfect.  I love, love, love that I can read about all these eligible services and get specifics about FSA coverage for each one.  I also tried out your Find a Doctor tool, and it returned dozens of results.  One suggestion, though: I’d add some kind of sort feature here.  The doctors seemed to be listed in random order, and I would’ve liked the option to sort them alphabetically or by distance.

I moved on to the FSA Learning Center.  It’s smart to include all this content!  It’s helpful to visitors, and it should boost your search engine rankings as well.  Again, the layout is wonderful.  I love that you’ve divided the questions up into categories that make sense.  I clicked on some of the categories and was so impressed with all the questions you address!  I also really like that you allow visitors to give you feedback on each answer.

Then I headed over to FSA Changes 2011.  Once again, the layout is really good.  I love that this kind of information is so easily available.  The comparison chart for Rx and OTC items is great!

I also checked out the FSA Administrators page, which I think does a good job of stating your case for a partnership with FSAStore.com.  One small suggestion here: I would move the partner login to the upper right somewhere to make it easier to find.

Finally, I looked over your Help and Support section.  The About Us page: Uh-oh!  Some capitalization problems and spacing issues between headers and paragraphs here.  Otherwise, the content looks good.  Your FAQ page: This is a bit of a nontraditional set-up with the answers at the top and the questions below, but I like it.  It works.  It answers everything I would want to know.

Would you purchase products in FSAStore.com? If not, why?
If I had an FSA account, I would definitely consider your store.  honestly, at the end of the day, price is the deciding factor to me when it comes to shopping for medical supplies online, so I would have to see how your prices stack up against your competitors.  But provided that your prices were comparable, I would be happy to shop at FSAStore.com.  I think your site inspires trust.  And you know what else I really like?  You offer lots of options for customer service, and you’re located right here in the US!

What do you think of the sign up process?
I think it’s a breeze.  I like that you reassure users about privacy at the sign-up screen, and I love that I don’t have to confirm from an email account or go through any hassle like that.  Well done.

What do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like drugstore.com?
I actually shop a lot at online pharmacies, so I can say that your site has a comparable look and feel to those I use.  However, your site stands out because it has so much useful information for people with FSA accounts.  I think this is such a nice touch!  I did visit drugstore.com, which took a long time to load, and I honestly like your site better.  The Drugstore.com home page is so cluttered and distracting compared to yours!  On the other hand, I did a price comparison and noticed that their prices are a little lower than yours.  As I said, at the end of the day, cost is king for me.  I want the best rate I can get.  Granted, I didn’t compare your S&H rates.  Sometimes online pharmacies offer deceptively low rates but then jack up the S&H.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I wish I had more constructive criticism for you, but the truth is I really like your site just the way it is.  Sure, there are a couple little things you could fix here and there (already mentioned), but it seems ready to go.  I think FSAStore.com is a great option for people who want to make sure their medical products are FSA-eligible.  The layout is superb, and I love all the extra info you provide for FSA account holders.  That really separates you from the competition.

What do you think of our tagline: “FSAStore.com – The One-Stop Shop for Flexible Spending Accounts.” What would you like to change to if you are the marketer?
I like that tagline.  I think it’s good as it is.  It clearly communicates what your site is about.

  6. I just thought of a couple other things I’d like to see you add: Some of the online pharmacies I use allow you to “favorite” certain items so you can more easily reorder them.  I’d love to see you offer that feature.  Also, I don’t know if you plan to do this or not, but it’s a good idea to email regular customers with coupons and notify them when products they’ve “favorited” are on sale.

  7. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on https://www.fsastore.com. What do you think the site is about?

Based on all of your “pitch” information, I’d assume, from a first look, that you’re an online pharmacy/store that only sells through FSA accounts. A more thorough look at your site reveals that you also accept major credit cards, suggesting that you really sell to “everyone”, but again, it looks like you’re really pushing hard for the FSA buyers.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. What do you find bothersome? What do you like?

I say these not as a potential customer, but as someone who has done web design and worked with template-based eCommerce (which it looks like this is).
    1. Since you are only using 75% of the display for customers with widescreen monitors, it may be helpful to have something other than whitespace in the page background. Even a very subtle gradient going from white to grey may do it for me, but otherwise, your header appears disconnected from the rest of the site, like you just inserted it into a template 🙂
    2. I like that all of your pages use the same base template, color scheme, etc. It gives a great sense of continuity, and I greatly appreciate that. However, your text/content doesn’t always fit inside the page elements. For example, at https://fsastore.com/site/Find-Services.aspx, the text in “Find a Doctor” goes outside the box boundaries.
    3. You have very well mapped category containers; however, it would be really helpful to have further division of product categories. For example, in Baby Care, your only options are Baby Feeding and Baby Health and Accessories. I could make the argument to have category filters by brand, by specific product, etc.
    4. The search bar – I expect it somewhere other than where it’s located. This isn’t a deal-breaker, but there needs to be “something” to make it more visible. Maybe round the corners of the “go” button, or use a little background enhancement like you have on the “add to cart” buttons.
    5. Breadcrumb navigation. I don’t like that you have breadcrumbs on product pages, but nowhere else. Make the decision if you want breadcrumbs, and then use it across all page elements.
    6. Search result page should be labeled “Search Results”, not Catalog. Again, this leads me to believe you’re using a template engine. Make sure you get in there and clean up some of those little things that happen with template engines.
    7. Favicon? Why isn’t there one? You have a nice logo, and since you don’t use the company name in most page titles, the Favicon will help with branding.
    8. Page redirect after adding an item to the cart – is there any way possible to use an AJAX notification, Thickbox popup, or something similar instead of redirecting the customer away when they add an item to their cart? You have it on the search results – try it from the product pages as well.
    9. Since sign in and register go to the same page, why not make that one link in the header, sign in/sign up or something similar?
    10. Nit-picky, but I’m not sure you need “FSA Products” in the header – it could just be Products. What if I’m not shopping FSA?

Would you purchase products in FSAStore.com? If not, why?

Again, since I’m not an FSA user (no benefits at my current job), I would have assumed no, because you don’t really market to the everyday user. However, knowing from an in-depth review that I could buy from you, I’d consider it. There is nothing about the page that “deters” me, or that causes me to question credibility.
Having said that, there’s a couple things I want to point out – I’d estimate shipping, or give customers the option to estimate shipping, without starting checkout. If you have a flat shipping rate for orders under $x, then advertise that flat rate or let customers figure it out. Also, is there any way the “account creation” can come at the order confirmation page? Why should I need to create an account to shop online? Usually, if account creation is required, the company should justify why.
Are you PCI certified for your credit card transactions? If you aren’t, make sure to get that squared away and get an authentication badge you can display with your SSL certificate. Usually this can be done for free/low cost with your merchant account provider or payment gateway.
Finally, here, in your returns information, you do not mention what will happen if your company makes a mistake in shipping. Not that you should expect to, but it will happen. Even something like “returns made due to company error will not be subject to re-stocking”, or “We are glad to reimburse shipping charges for returns made due to company error or errors in shipment” would be a big reassurance.

What do you think of the sign up process?

Signing up is extremely easy – I like that you don’t get all of the “extra” information until checkout, but it also makes me wonder how much of that information is going to be saved when I return.
Again, when I’m signed in, I still see a link to register. If you had sign up and sign in as one link, this would not occur. I’m also a little concerned about the fact that there’s no sort of “confirmation” for signing up – a popup, thickbox, etc, etc would be very reassuring and helpful for most customers.

What do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like drugstore.com?

I don’t normally do my pharma-shopping online, since I’m less than a mile from my pharmacy, so it’s hard to compare apples to apples. However, comparing to 1-800-CONTACTS, I notice that there is more “content” under the products on the home page. There is a brief overview of the who and why, along with some customer service information. This is very reassuring to the potential buyer. They also have a pitch/branding right from their HTML title tag (and the Favicon I mentioned). I also like that they have a slideshow/hover effect on their centerpane. I’m beginning to think that for a company that has multiple market segments, this should be standard issue. It’s simple to implement, it shouldn’t slow down load time, and it helps you showcase your areas of strength without the customer visiting multiple pages.
Since not everyone is going to visit your site via the home page, also make sure that every page is optimized as a potential landing page. There should be more content on each page than just products – there needs to be something establishing you as credible, pitching to the customer, etc, from every page, and a lot of that comes from in-page content.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

I’ve really sprinkled that in throughout the page, so here I’m going to get some more technical stuff.
    1. Page Code – your code is a mess. I’m not sure what each individual page element looks like, but loading the source shows there is TONS of whitespace, little/no comments, and lots of in-line CSS. Clean your code up, validate it with W3C, and get your CSS where it belongs, in a stylesheet. I’m not sure how this page displays on browsers other than Firefox 3, but I’m fairly sure not all elements will appear the same across browsers, as each browser parses and interprets css slightly differently. Though your potential customer is not going to look under the hood, you’re only going to make updating and doing layout changes simpler by cleaning up your code and delegating elements to where they should be.
    2. “Lower 48 States” is not accurate. Do you mean Contiguous US? Continental US? Use one of these, as it’s the accepted vernacular and acknowledges that there are plenty of US states and territories south of Texas.
    3. Double check link destinations. Live Chat takes me to the FAQ, and when I click the icon box inside the FAQ page that details your help/support options, I’m instead redirected to products.
    4. What information do you have in your newsletter? Is there a more appropriate term you can use than newsletter, or is there an explanation you can provide to users?
How else can I connect with you? Do you have any active social media platforms? A developer blog? Community resources? There should be some online source of community interaction – more customers are likely to check that out than let you email them.
    5. In the interest of communication, I would suggest making sure you get your live chat launched, or else adding a Google Voice, gTalk, Skype, or LiveZilla widget to your site to allow customers to get immediate contact/feedback from you. The Google Voice widget would also reduce the amount of inbound traffic to your toll-free line, and I’m sure you can see why that is a good thing.
    6. Since you’re already using hover effects for your page elements, I’d suggest either a tooltip or something similar for some of your navigation elements. You could use same code used to build your flyout menu on the left to create mini-tooltips for the header navigation. You could also have your centerpane image change when someone hovers over one of the header elements, explaining/previewing content for FSA Questions, for example.
    7. Your banner with current promos should appear on ALL product pages (add it to your dynamic header if you have to), and when I click it, I should get details (such as a shipping chart). Instead, I’m redirected to your product offerings. This again is part of the link/content mapping that I mentioned above.
    8. Since some of your customers are going to be older, I would really push accessibility with the option to increase font size on the page, telling customers they can call to order, etc.
    9. Final thing here – if you use the term Beta for any service, there needs to be a roadmap or indication of what you’re working on, trying to improve, and a rough idea of when you expect full functionality. It’s all about accountability and transparency with doing business, along with connecting with your customers.

What do you think of our tagline: “FSAStore.com – The One-Stop Shop for Flexible Spending Accounts.” What would you like to change to if you are the marketer?

… tough call. I think the tagline could work, if coupled with more product-directed marketing (specific product lines) like I’ve suggested above. Otherwise, something like “Wellness Products, Flexible Options”, “Your Health, Delivered Flexibly”… something that is more directed or slightly more personal. I would consider, however, doing the tagline/byline in a different color from the logo, or doing the “words” of the logo in different colors/styles. It’s a really simple effect, but it looks sharp and polished, and it will display much more reliably than your current logo, which looks grainy when I enlarge the site display. For an example, check out aiagearedforgrowth.com

  8. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on https://www.fsastore.com. What do you think the site is about?
It’s a online store that provides things that are FSA.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. What do you find bothersome?
I was looking at the different tabs of the site and a few things stuck out to me.
First, the “About FSA store”, there are a few errors on there with grammar and spacing.
Second, I went to the “Live Chat”, which didn’t see like a live chat at all. It’s the “FaQ” page which you can already get to by clicking the “FaQ About Us”.
On the “Homepage”, You have a link at the top which is “Help”. Again, you click on it and it takes you to the “FaQ” page.
I clicked on the “Newsletter” and the “Contact Us” and they both send you to the same page.
    What do you like?
I think the site looks professional and it’s easy to understand and navigate.
I really like the 24 hour contact number at the top on the site.
Would you purchase products in FSAStore.com? If not, why?
If I had a FSA account, I would use your service.
What do you think of the sign up process?
The “Sign Up” process actually confused me. It is not easly explained.
I gave my e-mail address and then a password. Once I submitted the information, it took me back to the “homepage”. I got confused on if I am currently “signed in” or just “signed up”. I went back to the link and did the “Sign in” process and again, it took me back to the “homepage”.
What do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like drugstore.com?
I think you site compares well to other sites like yours. Your site is more easier to navigate and understand.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Overall, I think you have a good site. It is easy to understand and navigate. The site looks very professional. There are just a few suggestions that I have.
You have a lot of links that go to the same pages in which I mentioned above, I don’t see the point of a number of links to the same pages. I suggest that you get rid of a few of those links.
The link “Live Chat” is misleading due to it not being a live chat but rather a “FaQ” page. I suggest that you make a actual “Live Chat” page. I think it would be very helpful to your customers.
I suggest that you change your “Sign Up” and “Sign In” process. If a person is “signed in” then I think your homepage should have something stating such as “Hello Sierra” or something.
If you only use the “Sign In” at the checkout, then I think you should state that.
The “Newsletter” link should be that, rather then a “Contact” page. I know at the bottom of the “Contact”, you can sign up for a “Newsletter”. I suggest that the “Newsletter” page to be where a person can sign up for a “Newsletter” but also for the page to give an example of a “Newsletter”. I personally would not sign up for a Newsletter from a store unless I had an idea what the newsletters provide.
On the “About FSA store”, there are a few errors on there with grammar and spacing. I suggest that to be fixed as soon as possible.
I also suggest that when you “Sign In”, and put things in your cart and then leave the site, once you come back and sign back in for the things to still be in the cart. Instead of that, you can provide another way for someone to be able to save things such as “Buy Later” link or something along those lines. Either way, I think the “Sign In” should be able to provide “history” or things such as that for the costomers.
What do you think of our tagline: “FSAStore.com – The One-Stop Shop for Flexible Spending Accounts.” What would you like to change to if you are the marketer?
I like the Tagline and I wouldn’t change it. It explains what your service is and what you provide.

  9. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on https://www.fsastore.com. What do you think the site is about?

Ways to spend your money through your flexible spending account
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. What do you find bothersome? What do you like?

Provides various products that are assumed to be IRS approved for use with the FSA.  Offers name brand products.  Could offer generic brands for cost comparison.
Would you purchase products in FSAStore.com? If not, why?

No.  I don’t buy enough of these products to make it worth my time to order them online.
What do you think of the sign up process?

    Easy process.  Not over bearing.
What do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like drugstore.com?

Drugstore.com offers more variety.  Additionally, it offers prescription drug service.  I did not find this feature on FSAstore.com.  FSA Store can find its niche if it offers all products verified by the IRS to be approved FSA purchases.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

As previously mentioned, this has potential for take-off if the site can offer all of the IRS pre-approved uses as well as prescription fulfillment.  I would also look at marketing to insurance agents that sell high deductible-HSA accounts.
What do you think of our tagline: “FSAStore.com – The One-Stop Shop for Flexible Spending Accounts.” What would you like to change to if you are the marketer?

You may be having business walk away because they don’t have a FSA. Make it even more clear that purchases can be made without an FSA.

  10. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on https://www.fsastore.com. What do you think the site is about? I think it is an one stop online store for many different healthcare items.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. What do you find bothersome? What do you like? Overall i think this is a very nice laid out site i like the setup of the site i like that they have free shipping on orders over $50 the images im not to crazy about some of the images i think they could be a little smaller with the images being so big it  looks like the images are just going to pop off the screen and makes the website unappealing to me but i do like how they have their contact information on their front page at the top and i like that its 24/7 support i like that regular shipping is $5.

Would you purchase products in FSAStore.com? If not, why? Yes I think that this would be a place i would purchase from if i had a fsa account it seems like they alot of things and i could purchase everything i need from this one website.
What do you think of the sign up process?
I found the sign up process to be to simple and easy there is no security there was no email sent that you had to confirm which i think is something they should have.

What do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like drugstore.com? Honestly i found drugstore.com more appealing to eye they had more details and information on their front page i liked their layout more better it seems to me that they have more variety of things and i like how right up under their categories they list some of the options to choose from for example for the beauty category they list skin care and hair right up under beauty without having to click on the category or scroll over it first and i like also they offer free shipping on orders of $25.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.Overall i think this is a very nice well laid out website i personally would buy off of this site and be happy to tell others about it but it does have some things that can be improved about to make it more appealing and better but it has great potential and i think it can become a very successful site.

What do you think of our tagline: “FSAStore.com – The One-Stop Shop for Flexible Spending Accounts.” What would you like to change to if you are the marketer? people may be confused about this tagline and and exactly what your site is about and what it is offering alot of people may not be very familar with the whole flexible spending account thing and people may get confused and think that they have to have a fsa account to shop your site you should find a way to make things more clear to everyone.

  11. What do you think the site is about?

I think this site is an online pharmacy of sorts where you pre-pay your account and then have your balance deducted as you buy things.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. What do you find bothersome? What do you like?

I like the fact the products are displayed in an organized fashion by searchable categories.  Its also nice to see the discounts are displayed w/ each product so I know I’d be getting a good deal.  The free shipping is a good feature as well.  I don’t like the fact there is no explanation of what an FSA account is…I do not have such a plan, so it was hard to fully understand the service you are offering.

Would you purchase products in FSAStore.com? If not, why?

I wouldn’t not by products from this store because I don’t have an FSA debit card, nor is there any information on how I may obtain one.

What do you think of the sign up process?

The sign in process is easy and I like that the log-in process is secure.

What do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like drugstore.com?

I feel like this site discourages people who are already not affiliated with an FSA account…whereas, with a store like drugstore.com. it sounds generic an open to everyone.  There is an air of exclusivity to your site that makes me think I would not be eligible to sign up for your service.  If your site is open to everyone, you should add some sort of clear header text that explains what, exactly, you are trying to sell.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

I think the site looks too much like a generic ‘storefront’ template – which is fine and easy to navigate, but does not leave the impression that you are as large an operation as the drugstore.com.  I do like the fact you have a phone number clearly posted and the red / blue color combination – which is clean, simple and easy to see on the screen.

What do you think of our tagline: “FSAStore.com – The One-Stop Shop for Flexible Spending Accounts.” What would you like to change to if you are the marketer?

If existing FSA customers are your sole market, then I think its a great slogan.  However, if you are looking to sell to the general public, regardless of whether they have a FSA account, then I would consider less emphasis on the FSA and more emphasis on the low-priced pharmacy goods.

  12. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on https://www.fsastore.com. What do you think the site is about?

My initial take on the site FSAStore.com is that it is geared toward saving dollars for the consumer’s pocket on a variety of notorious and non-branded health as well as personal items by providing a flexible saving account.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. What do you find bothersome? What do you like?

Immediately, I feel annoyed with too many ads appearing as soon as I view the website. It is confusing and stifles me because I do not know where to click, first. Besides, nothing stands out due to the fact that all ads are presented with the same color scheme of red, white and blue.

On the other hand, even though FSAStore.com is in business for itself, an excellent feature that I appreciate is the search engine for other eligible medical services that goes the extra mile in providing setting appointments online, in some cases, which proves the interest of your company is truly geared toward the benefit of the customer.

Would you purchase products in FSAStore.com? If not, why?

Yes, I would most definitely purchase products from FSAStore.com because health and personal care items are quite expensive. And as a consumer such added bonuses of varied discounts and free shipping, occasionally, for items to be purchased means saving money, which is always a huge plus due to the poor economy status.

Therefore, since I responded in the positive for purchasing products at FSAStore.com there is no explanation for why I would not shop at your site.

What do you think of the sign up process?

The sign up process is very simple—not requiring one to provide a lot of detailed information, which can be time consuming. In addition, it does not make the consumer feel coerced to purchase any items once the sign up process has ended. It gives the feeling of browsing for items with ease with the intent of finding what is needed.

What do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like drugstore.com?

FSAStore.com has similarities with drugstore.com and other sites that offer a variety of health and personal items at discount rates.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

Reviewing the site it is obvious that the colors chosen for the website background as well as the ads are red, white and blue. However, with the various ads that is seen I would suggest placing a bold colored border around them and highlighting the gray links, toward the left of the web page, with another color for products to be searched in order to make them appealing to the eye—stand out to grab the consumer’s interest.

In my opinion, the color gray, although simple, is dull and detracts from appearance.
What do you think of our tagline: “FSAStore.com – The One-Stop Shop for Flexible Spending Accounts.” What would you like to change to if you are the marketer?

If I was the marketer the tagline for FSA would read “FSAStore.com – Stop-Shop-Save with Flexible Spending Accounts.”
