Note to Feedback Providers:
Please note that businesses are looking for in-depth feedback that gives them thorough, insightful and actionable input. A ‘superficial’ submission that does not add value, is not thorough (i.e. written in a hurry, with poor grammar, punctuation etc.) and does not offer any concrete, constructive feedback is not helpful and will be rejected.

1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see? Do you understand the provided services and how you can benefit from them?
I love the overall layout of the site. I like all the different color patterns used and the charts on the page.
I do understand what services are being offered. I see that I can sync my calendar to this planner and that this planner actually looks much easier to use and is much larger and easier to see and schedule appointments, etc.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I tried to find customer reviews/testimonials and was not able to locate any. I also clicked on the Facebook and Twitter links but it appeared that there was not really either account set up for this company.
3) Imagine you are looking for a project management software/service. Are you encouraged to signup/try it out? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I am definitely encouraged to give this site a try because I like the sample charts that I see on the home page and I love the fact that there is a 30 day free trial.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I found a site called Doodle. I am not impressed with anything on their site. It is plain and boring looking. I have no desire to even go any farther than their home page because I think that they did not take any serious thought into setting up their website. I would prefer the Gantt Planner over the Doodle one.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I really like that you offer a free 30 day trial and I love the fact that I can use my existing Google account to sign up. I also love that I don’t have to sign up with a credit card just to try the free trial.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see? Do you understand the provided services and how you can benefit from them?
At first glance, the home page looks good, but it is really unclear to me how it helps with project management. Providing a video that shows how your process works would be far more helpful than the static graphics that you do have.
Additionally, Gantt charts have apparently changed appearance since the days they were done manually, which is how I learned to do them. They were not time-based. They focused on how aspects of a project related to one another by using boxes of varying shapes, sizes, and colors with lines drawn between those aspects of the project that had a direct connection.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I want a clearer explanation of how your Gantt chart works. This appears to be a one-page website with no ability to do a search. Therefore, I did not find what I was looking for.
3) Imagine you are looking for a project management software/service. Are you encouraged to signup/try it out? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Sorry, but no. I have created a simple Excel document that shows my business’ projects. Additionally, it can be replicated in Google Drive, where I work with clients and can develop this Excel documents to help them prepare and implement their job searches and career plans. It enables me to see the project, who “owns” it, and a timeline. So there are many similarities to yours. It provides everything I need at this time.
Plus, I keep my calendar in Outlook, not Google.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which one do you prefer? Why?
I went to GanttProject.biz. It is open source and provides, Gantt, PERT, and resource charts. It’s home page is small. There is a video, but it is way too long at 15 minutes. It provides in-depth details, which is not what an first-time visitor wants. At least, I don’t. I want an overview video showing me how this will make my life easier or benefit me in some other way.
I do not prefer one over the other, since I do not understand how yours works, and I didn’t want to take the full 15 minutes to go through the GanntProject.biz video.

You have to show me why Ganttplanner.com is something that would benefit me. How will it save me time and money? How will it make my life easier? What if I don’t have any team—what if it is a one-person project?
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see? Do you understand the provided services and how you can benefit from them?
The home page looks simple and neatly arranged. I got the purpose from the first impression and it is well presented – a merge between google calendar and service provided by Gantt chart.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
It is pretty straight forward – there is not much information to seek after. I know that I can try it for free and that I can sign up for a paid upgraded version. I cannot seem to find the search engine, however I can contact the team for information required.
3) Imagine you are looking for a project management software/service. Are you encouraged to signup/try it out? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I am acquainted with google calendar so the similarities in the layout is a major advantage. Yes, I would be willing to sign up.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I have found the Doodle tool. The website offers a lot of information – too much to my liking. I would give my preference to the Gantt chart – all information is kept to a reasonable level, it is arranged in a visual and presentable way.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I liked the snapshots that exhibit how the programme operates. It would be nice and more eye-friendly to arrange all pictures in the left hand side of the page and leave the text on the right.

1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see? Do you understand the provided services and how you can benefit from them?
My initial impression of the Gant hompage is a little bit of confusion, but in a good way. I understand that Gant is for scheduling and project management, but the main graphic left me wondering, ‘Ok, so why would I want to turn my Google calendar into a Gant chart and what does that mean?’ So I wanted to find more info.
The page is cleanly laid out and provides great information, but I’d tighten up the width of the copy in the information blocks below the first image and rethink alignment. The graphics and size of the font could be bigger and better aligned so I can clearly see the UI and the page looks cleaner.
Also in the top main image, I would darken the grey font, it’s a little hard to read.
I understand that the calendar tools will help with project management, but I don’t really know what the “out of the box” reference to Google calendar means.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
This is very easy since the website is a one-page layout. Information, pricing and FAQs are all located in one area.
3) Imagine you are looking for a project management software/service. Are you encouraged to signup/try it out? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I would say no honestly because the features here are so simple. I dont know that I see a full-fledged “product management software” here… more of an additive to calendars and scheduling.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I searched “product management calendar app” …because mobile is the way to go, and found https://www.liquidplanner.com/. I think their analytics and dashboard look more robust and interactive. If I just needed a calendar tool I would pick Gantt. If I wanted more features, I would go with Liquid Planner.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I think with added UI shots and more in-depth look at the cool features you can provide in the “Pro” version of your product, you’ll gain more intrigue from customers.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
Do you understand the provided services and how you can benefit from them?
– My first look and feel of the website is that I feel weird about the navigation bar located at top of your site. It doesn’t have a border between the navigation tabs and the content. The entire blue background makes the navigation and the content seems like they are there for the same reason which is either to display a slogan of my website or it is for navigation. I just feel like, it’s not right without a border or some component to actually segregate between them.
– Second, the slogan “Turn your Google calendar into a Gantt chart” make it clear about what this site is all about. It create an expectation of what I can get from this site. I know that it can benefit me by turning my Google calendar into a Gantt Chart. However, the picture got to be lot more informative. It doesn’t seem so attractive or understandable. I thought it would be better if it is a slide show with transition that shows the effect of transition by displaying a Google calendar picture and the next slide ( transition) would display your Gantt Chart.
– When i scroll down, i can see the feature you provide which i can customize the information of my Gantt Chart, Track process and even print it and share it. I think it is very straight forward and very clear, which is very good. I don’t have to click on some other tabs to see what you provide.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
– I was looking for how much do i have to pay or is this open source and I found the try for free button which doesn’t seems so noticeable. Maybe you could change it to white colour or some other brighter colour instead of green. Also, the “Try for Free” scare me away because I would assume i got to pay for this, I would just try to google for some other similar product which is open source before i decided to come back here and check the pricing. I would suggest you could use some marketing technique like “Register for Free” and after they fill up all the information, let them access the real service for free and stating that they are on a standard account which will expire in 30days and provide them with upgrade feature which require the user to upgrade into premium for full access. However, i saw in the pricing you provide a free package with minimum features, why do you want to state “try for free” when you actually have a free package. You could just state “Try our free package” or “Free SignUp”.
– Secondly, I was wondering is it hard to use? Will i spend a lot of time in learning how to use the product. I wastrying to find some tutorial or documentation that would teach me how to use this for a total beginner and i couldn’t find it. You could just some simple step by step on how to get started with the product to show customers that actually it does not require any professional skill to do it. Instead of leaving them wondering “will this thing hard to use?” it save a lot of time for customers because the can get a clear picture of how it works and they can just signup straight away because it is free and they feel the documentation or tutorial steps you provided are simple, easy and clear.
3) Imagine you are looking for a project management software/service. Are you encouraged to signup/try it out? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
For me no, firstly because I don’t use Gantt Chart. I have some other planner to allow me to view the task estimation period and progress. Second, i don’t see the point of having a Gantt Chart when i already have a calendar. Of course it is for convenient view but think of it, isn’t calendar and Gantt Chart are almost the same? I can customize my calendar to look like a Gantt Chart. However, that is just my personal opinion. I do know some people who are working on software project management that require a Gantt Chart and I think this is really a good solution for them.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
i google on “transform google calendar into gantt chart” and the first result came was this site https://www.gantt-chart.com/. This site looks more attractive and straight-forward than yours. I would prefer their service as i think their description win my heart. Especially the How It Works section, which tell me only need 2 steps, sign in and then convert. It is also free to use for now, and they stated the price that they might charge in future which is around 29$/year. I think it is very reasonable price and it’s cheaper. However, If i need more functionality i would prefers your site because you allow customization of the Gantt Chart which they don’t (i am not 100% sure but they did not state any at their website).
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Overall, i think this is a good concept to start with. If the features you provided are a stand out compare with the others competitor. You should market it more clearly and more attractive. Make it look more obvious. The content of your homepage play a very important roles for customer to decide either to use your service or not. You could take a look at how other competitor market it, don’t copy but make it better than them. Think of what really matter when it come to deciding to use this service or not to. Put all that solution in the home page to clear the customers doubt and they will sign up for you. Example: Pricing is one of the most important decision key for customer to sign up or not to, use the FREE keyword as a solution to clear one of their doubt, but not “Try for Free”. It just make me feel like I have to pay after a certain time.
All the best to you and hope it is a helpful insight
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see? Do you understand the provided services and how you can benefit from them?
On my first look of the homepage, I immediately understood what the site is about. The image at the banner caught my attention and the accompanying text made it easy for me to get an idea that this site uses Google Calendar for creating Gantt charts.
The layout is clean and simple so that I was able to easily read through the page and see the features. I also like the added images. It gives me a preview of what the product looks like.
I also like the colors used. It’s easy on the eyes and the page looks really professional.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I was thinking of the pricing and it was pretty easy to find as all the info is at the homepage.
I did find the text “Use now and get a 30-days premium trial for free!” a bit confusing. It made me think whether the free version is the 30-day trial. The FAQ cleared it up though.
3) Imagine you are looking for a project management software/service. Are you encouraged to signup/try it out? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Yes! GANTTplanner looks easy to use. I like that it’s simple and its features seem to be sufficient for what I usually do.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I found https://www.gantt-chart.com/ (Ganttify).
The services seem to be pretty much the same, except Ganttify also works with Trello and Basecamp. Ganttify also has a mobile version so that’s a plus for them.
But I still prefer GANTTplanner. Both looks simple to use but I cannot find a complete list of features in Ganttify’s site. I think GANTTplanner has better features and the price seems just right.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I like the homepage very much. The info provided is easy to find and understand.
The images are nice but it would be great if there was a video demonstrating the product. I feel like it would give a better preview of the app. It’s nice to see it in action without having to sign up/in.
All in all, I think the service offered by GANTTplanner is really useful. It’s user-friendliness and simplicity is a huge plus for me. I find this a tool I will definitely go to.
