Feedback sought:

1) Look around the home page – do you find our product easy to use?

2) Are you able to identify the value?

3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?

  1. 1) Look around the home page – do you find our product easy to use?
    Yes, it’s intuitive.

    2) Are you able to identify the value?
Yes, but there’s a bit to less content. Also some visual examples and maybe even some “maths” how helpful such a service can be would be nice to see.

    3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Yes, it’s free and looks interesting. I’m not sure will it be as effective to pay for it. (maybe your site can make me feel it would:))

    4) Do you find it easy to use and navigate?
Yes, but as said page is a bit lacking of content, video isn’t enough and some people would prefer to enter tab with even same information as in the video in picture/text format or some simple idea how it works, and how one can benefit.

    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Some more info one the page is needed about company, safety, professionalism and features. People like a bit more of that to be more comfortable. It’s very nice:)

  2. 1) Look around the home page – do you find our product easy to use?

Do I find the home page easy to use? Yes. The site is clean, neat, professional looking. Colors are good.

I do have a small business. I send out emails via MailChimp daily, so this is a relevant product for me. And still, it took me a couple of minutes to really understand what you are doing. Most first-time visitors to your site aren’t going to take that much time to figure that out—the average first-time visitor only spends 6 seconds on a page.

When you say customizing images, I don’t understand. What I do get is that you are customizing the text that is over the images, to provide a more personalized experienced for the readers. I have to scroll and scroll and scroll down to “How Does It Work” until I see an example. Don’t make your site visitors wait, because the chances are they won’t stay on the page long enough to see it. Show them above the scroll/fold.

Maybe instead of the video image showing all the different email services, it could show an example of how the image/text are customized. Let us see immediately what it looks like. And maybe with a caption: “In a world of de-personalized emails, make your customers feel special.” Obviously, that can be snappier. Why not use this space to talk to your visitors in the way you would want your customers to use NiftyImages to speak to their customers.

Does that make sense? Use your product to sell your product. Use the customized wording on the video image to grab my (your visitors’) attention and make me (them) feel special.

You see, that’s the benefit of using your service: customers and prospects who feel special and feel a connection. That’s what sells. All the features you mention are great, but they don’t sell. Benefits provide emotional impact; features provides the logical information that we use to convince ourselves to buy. And the emotion, the benefits come first.

    2) Are you able to identify the value?

Kind of. But it would be really helpful for you to show rather than tell. Use visuals rather than so many words.

Also, I still don’t know how this works for a landing page. How can you customize your landing page for different visitors? Can you use this to customize your home page? Is it possible?

    3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?

Maybe. I would have to completely redesign my email campaigns to take advantage of this. So, I would probably wait until I had figured out how to best take advantage of your customization.

    4) Do you find it easy to use and navigate?

Yes. Your site is very simple. Therefore, it is easy to navigate.

    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

The one thing I see as a bit confusing. Your integration page mentions a few email services. But you show different email services in your video. Does that mean people can use your NiftyImages with some email services without being integrated? (Since it does integrate with MailChimp, I would be fine. But what about people who use Constant Contact?)

  3. 1) Look around the home page – do you find our product easy to use?

I like the big pictures and snappy videos; aesthetically, the website looks great. I would prefer that the pricing information is higher up on the page to avoid having to scroll all the way down to see it, although I recognize that the Pricing option in the upper right hand corner can be clicked to bring the user directly to that section. The intro video front and center on the page is perfect and allows the user a quick and fun way to better understand exactly what the product is and why it could be beneficial. I also really like the “How Does It Work” section so the user can play with it themselves for a clear visual. Perhaps that could be moved up to right under the initial video so again the user has all of the introductory type information available immediately without scrolling.

    2) Are you able to identify the value?

I was not familiar with this product at first, but after viewing the video and reading through the information (and testing it out myself in the “How Does It Work” section), I was easily able to understand the value of the product. For me, the video and How Does It Work sections were critical to that.

    3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?

Possibly; however I would prefer that the 30-day trial have something indicating that there is “no obligation” or “cancel anytime”. I really dislike signing up for a trial service only to have to jump through hoops later to cancel it, so always prefer going with products that allow and advertise an easy “out”. Perhaps indicate that the 30 days is free and at the end of the 30 days the user will be contacted/emailed to decide if they would like to continue, etc.

    4) Do you find it easy to use and navigate?

Yes, very easy and intuitive to navigate, although I would prefer that the How Does It Work section be listed right underneath the introductory video for more upfront clarity.

    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

I think the information is displayed in such a way that it allows me to understand the benefit of a product I had never previously considered. I would consider signing up for the trial IF there was reassurance that the trial could be cancelled anytime or would end automatically.
