  1. 1) Look around the home page and its organization?
The home page is appealing, clean, well-organized, and professional. It is clear that I can use the navigation menus at the top to access more information about insurance. I like that the social media icons are at the top of the page for easy access (as I use those often to further research a company).

There are a good number of images and graphics to break up the text, however, I noticed that the image featuring letter cubes appears three times all within the same general area. One thing I do not see (usually appearing in the footer) is a phone number, snail/email address, and/or copyright information.  The page seems incomplete without that footer information.

    2) Read the FAQ – How do you like the informational depth?
The information provided in the FAQ was very well-written so that people who are not familiar with insurance details can easily understand. I feel the amount of information and the details were sufficient to more than adequately answer the questions posed.

I found it odd to read the name and home state of the person asking the questions. This makes me wonder if the question was posed on a blog, radio show, or tv and when was it posed? I do not think it is relevant to mention who is asking the question and where they live. The questions and answers seem to be general enough as to not be related to a particular state. Also, the question is written once, then the name and state is noted, then the question is written again. Only need to see the question once.
There is an image and a “Health Insurance FAQ” link beside each question. This is not needed since it points right back to the FAQ page.

The first question regarding HDHPs was easy to understand. If a table is included to compare and contrast the normal insurance vs the HDHP, I think that would help greatly with the explanation.

The second question regards mandatory insurance. The answer is succinct and clear. Please check punctuation and typos (“Another proposal is that the feel will be a flat rate” – should be “the fee will be a flat rate”). The answer mentions that we should educate ourselves on the options – it would be nice to see a link to some reference information, or let us know that we can return to the FAQ where the options will be outlined once the law is implemented.

    3) Are you encouraged to read the articles in our guide?
Yes, two in particular appeal to me: “How to buy and compare” and “Individual Health Insurance”. I appreciate the few sentences below each article title letting me know what I can expect from that article. The titles are self-explanatory, to be sure, so even if I did not read the description, I would be able to assume what the article is about.

    4) Have a look at the video in our first blog post. Do you like the format?
The video format starts off at a fine size, but can be expanded to full screen if I want a bigger size. I do not mind the vertical letterbox (black bars on right and left of video).

The video on the blog itself could use some setting updates. The only thing in the background of the speaker is a lamp. There should also be a bookcase with books behind him to give it more of a professional feel. Please check that the images are not used too often. For example, the image with the woman, man and the two boys appears multiple times. In the Insurance Guide page, the calculator and claim form appears for two different articles.

The home page image of the man, woman and two boys appears at the top of all the pages. It should really only appear on the home page. When I switch between different pages, it hardly looks like the page changed because the large image does not change at the top.

  2. 1) Look around the home page and its organization?

I looked about and even though there was a lot information that could have looked cramped up but somehow, I think this has to do with the color schemes and varying as I scrolled down, I was able to read normally. The page also had a simplistic look and looked attractive.
    2) Read the FAQ – How do you like the informational depth?

When I visited the FAQ page I noticed that there was a lot of information which I appreciated but I couldn’t help but wonder what one would do if there is a question that is not answered in this page? I think there should be additional choices of information, a search perhaps? Or even live chat?
    3) Are you encouraged to read the articles in our guide?

The choices under the guide are straight and to the point and even though I am not shopping for health insurance I was encouraged when I saw there was an option for self employed individuals. I think the simplistic but clear approach makes this site approachable and enticing.
    4) Have a look at the video in our first blog post. Do you like the format?

I was unable to watch the video without downloading DIVX and although after doing so I was able to watch the video easily it did get me to wonder if everyone would take the trouble to actually download that extension? I think perhaps YOUTUBE would be better and universally accessible.
    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

I would to have seen quotes from people who have enjoyed this service, it always breaks or makes a deal for me.
