About Heyo:
Heyo is a simple tool that allows people to share with friends where they are going to be, and what they will be doing. It is currently available on iPhone and Android.
Use Heyo for iPhone and Android to create and share plans with friends, and collaborate with your friends to decide where to hang out.
Spent a few seconds on the site and I thought it was an iPhone app where I could share my calendar with my friends and family and have privacy settings for them.
Foursquare seems more like a check-in app whereas Heyo seems like a calendar app.
I like the idea of your application, its a unique way to share events with friends quickly. As I viewed the your app I was able to easily understand the user interface. In feedback, The people search should also include your own contact list and have the ability to invite you friends in your phonebook to the event and app. I didn’t like the current people search as I don’t know those that are currently using the app I see no need for this search unless you want to network and meet new people. I will continue to use it and also place it in my wife’s phone. I’m a longtime themer/dev using winmo, ios, android os and liked the simplicity of the app.. your ad free app is a plus as well, to start hype it’s a good start.
When you first pull it up it lets you kow right away what you are looking at. With both words and images. For me the big difference I see with Heyo and Facebook-planner and Gawalla is that this is a shared calendar with instance response where as Gawalla and Facebook is more a social network sight, where everyone sees what you are doing. Not much difference to me but I like the privacy that is offered. Would do Heyo over Facebook.
