1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see? Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
First impression, ideas are clear about what they provide. Though, the “contact us” at the under right corner pop up was suppose to be a chat assistance and it’s not available.
I would like to know about the pricing for their expert feedback. And I found it immediately and also, it comes with the details of what it would be included in the price.
2) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
It says 100% risk free but I would not be signing up right away since that it’s difficult to trust someone that charge you money through the internet at the very beginning. There is not free trial period, or limited access to try.Â
3) If you are of if you were a small business owner, would you use our service to help you improve your marketing? Why or why not? And if no, what would be your alternative?
If I would have a small business, I would not be paying for expert advices online, at lease not at once. As I mentioned before, I would need a trial peiord even with limited access or recommended by a friend. My alternative would be asking friends to recommend me some experts for marketing advices.
4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
The website is easy to navigate but it would be great to have the chat assistance available.Â

Â
The website looks professional. The blue and green colors are restful, as though problems are about to be solved.
Â
The “Increase Sales†is highlighted in blue, so my first question is: is that guaranteed? I look below and see a small circle stating that there is a 100% money-back guarantee. I would have liked to have this all highlighted above. As “Increase sales [by when] [by what amount] or 100% of your money will be refunded.†Or “100% money-back guarantee if your sales do not increase [by what amount] [by when].â€
Â
The other comment I have about the home page is: You don’t have anything to really grab me, such as: “Are you making the most of your marketing dollar?†or “What is it worth to increase your sales by 25% in the next 3 months?†“How many customers are you losing because of your marketing?â€
Â
I looked for information about the experts and was able to find it quickly under “About†on the navigation bar.
Â
(ADDED after searching further through you rather lengthy pages.) To help shorten the home page, which is really long and spread out, I would have a brief “How it works video†above the scroll on the home page instead of the 3 graphics which take up a lot of space. It could include at least one recommendation along side and/or within the video. I would have the reviewers speak about themselves to help establish trust (relationship building). If you have a recommendation within the video, I would put the four points, starting with “Improved website and marketing†along side. That would simplify the home page a lot.
Â
Nothing appeared to be confusing until I realized how much information was stuffed into very long pages. It is challenging to take in all the information with so much on a page and it is challenging to remember where to find it again, should I want to.

Â
If I didn’t have access to top marketing experts already, I might consider it. However, I would want to know why your experts are willing to work for such little money?
Â
And I would want to know if your reviewers reviewed this website. If they did, I probably wouldn’t want to use your services.
Â
3) If you are of if you were a small business owner, would you use our service to help you improve your marketing? Why or why not? And if no, what would be your alternative?
Â
I am a small business owner. I belong to an entrepreneurial club that includes experts in every field, including marketing. I know them and trust them. I don’t know you, so in my case, you would really have to prove your worth.
Â
For an entrepreneur, time is just as important as money. Yes, you will provide reviews within 72 hours, but what if I spend days, even months following your advice and do not have results. Yes, I may receive my money back, but what about all the time I spent.
Â
I want to see proven results. I want to see samples of the input. After considerable hunting through the site, I finally found a couple of reviews. From what I can see, the reviews appear to have merit, although not in depth enough for what you’re charging (in comparison to StartUpLift. And without being able to see the websites, I have no idea how helpful they really are.
Â
I want to see recommendations, and I want information about how much sales have increased for the companies as a result of following the reviews. Oh, I found a couple of recommendations squeezed into the long home page, but I had to go look for them.

Â
I like that clients can provide up to 4 versions for input. And I would like to test to see if getting this input is as valuable as doing split marketing tests. If it is, it would save time.
Â
Numerous people have mentioned that it is far better to have a larger number of focused pages, rather than a lot of information on a single page. If you had followed this, it would have been much easier for me to find the reviews. If I wanted to find them again, I’m not certain I’d know where to look: are they on the “What is Idealinput†page? What if the reviews were on a separate page under “About Us
Â
Having recommendations throughout a website is great is the two recommendations on the home page are. But when the pages are as long as yours are, I’m not scrolling and scrolling and scrolling to hunt for them.
Â
You know that the average time spent on a website is something like 6 seconds. You are going to lose people who aren’t seeing your best stuff.
Â
And obviously, I like your intention or I wouldn’t be providing feedback for StartUpLift.
Â
Keep going.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see? Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
The first thing i noticed is the BIG lettering. Normally i like it because i hate looking for small print. However, i thought it might be just a little to large because i had to scroll through so many pages to get a complete idea about the purpose of the site.Â
The first thing i always look for and want to know is price. I thought it was very easy to find and very reasonable pricing. Its not a confusing site i thought it was self explainitory.   Â
 Â
2) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)? Yes i was and i normally hate to create an account. I think line it takes two minutes or less was very cleverly placed and seemed to encourage joining without a lot of hoops to jump through I like that.
3) If you are of if you were a small business owner, would you use our service to help you improve your marketing? Why or why not? And if no, what would be your alternative?
Overall yes i like the price and the services offered. My one concern would be follow up services offered after the feedback report. Do you assist and referring customers people or companies who can help them make the changes that were suggested. Do you have any support that is offered to the customer? I think although its a great pricing for expert feedback I would like to see that I have access to more than just a “report” if I join the site or become a member. Â
4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
My main two suggestions are to possibly make the text a little smaller or have links so that you dont have to explain so much on the homepage. Its a little to spread out and takes to long to have to scroll through for those who are in a hurry. Also, play up any other services offered or support you give other than a one time report. I think marketing the price is a great idea for those who are looking for feedback from experts probably know those same experts charge hundreds if not thousands if you were to hire them individually for consulting.
