No. of Feedback Providers Requested: 3
Note to Feedback Providers:
Please note that businesses are looking for in-depth feedback that gives them thorough, insightful and actionable input. A ‘superficial’ submission that does not add value, is not thorough (i.e. written in a hurry, with poor grammar, punctuation etc.) and does not offer any concrete, constructive feedback is not helpful and will be rejected.
Feedback sought:
1) Is it easy to understand how to use this site?
2) What kinds of idea transfer arrangements would you like to see?
3) Which companies would you want to talk to through a platform like this?
4) Where do you normally leave feedback for a company or product and what would you improve about that experience?
5) Any additional feedback is much appreciated.
1. It is very easy to understand how to use this website. The layout is very clean and all the buttons you need are in the top header and are easily accessible. If you want to post an idea or browse an idea the button is right there for you. Also the log in and register button is there for you aswell.
2. I would like to see maybe a skype call or some real life meeting so the buyer knows exactly what he/she is getting before they buy. Also it would give the seller a good chance to really sell his/her idea.
3. I would like to talk to developer companies for games, apps, websites, etc. It would be a great way for consumers to show their favorite companies some of their ideas as a consumer and it would really help the companies to know what their customers want.
4. I normally leave feedback in their “Contact Us” page. I would improve the response from the companies. Many of them dont respond and if they do they only send a automatic email. It would also be better if the consumer and talk to someone from that company and really give in depth feedback or suggestions.
5. I would just like to say that I love the idea of this website. How it lets idea be shared from anyone to anyone. Its a really good way for others who aren’t capable to pursue their idea to have someone else really bring their idea to life in a way they couldn’t.
1) Is it easy to understand how to use this site?
On my first look of the homepage, it is pretty easy to understand what the site is about.
How it works is a bit confusing for me though. How will the ideas reach the target company? Aside from that, the site looks simple to use.
2) What kinds of idea transfer arrangements would you like to see?
Not quite sure what this means but it would be nice to have an idea box where anyone can put other other’s ideas together to form another idea.
3) Which companies would you want to talk to through a platform like this?
If it is a general idea, any company will do. Since it is online, the ideas can be for anyone interested or at least related to the idea. If it is for a specific product, I think I will go to the company’s website or forums instead since it seems more direct that way.
4) Where do you normally leave feedback for a company or product and what would you improve about that experience?
I leave feedback at the product’s website if they have an option for it. I usually find it easy to leave feedback if there is a rating scale available. It would also be nice if there is an “anonymous” option.
5) Any additional feedback is much appreciated.
I like the colors of the homepage. It looks simple and clean and straightforward. I find the line “the suggestion box on steroids” a bit difficult to read though.
The idea train at the homepage is a nice touch but it goes too fast for me to read it. It would be nice if there is an option to manually skip to the next “train”.
In the “Browse Ideas” page, it isn’t clear for me where to click to read the entire idea. I though at first all the links acted as hashtags. Maybe adding some tooltips will help.
I like the up/down vote and save for later options. They are nice features to use.
1) Is it easy to understand how to use this site?
I think so . . . maybe. Let me tell you how the site is meant to be used, then, you can determine if I’m right or not.
At the top, I can click on “Have an idea” if I have an idea for anything, i.e., making improvements, an invention, how to end world hunger. If I “Want an idea” for anything, such as ending world hunger, I can click on “Want an idea.” I guess, once I get inside, I get to write down my thoughts, maybe add photos and videos, etc.
Just below that, there is an idea-list scrolling from right to left with all kinds of possibilities. I saw something for Tesla and something else for Fiverr.com. If I see something that catches my fancy, I can click on it to learn more.
By the way, this idea-list is really scrolling too quickly. It would be great if visitors could control the speed the way we can with a slider.
Just clicked on “Want an Idea,” and saw rows and rows of these lists.
2) What kinds of idea transfer arrangements would you like to see?
What do you mean by idea transfer arrangements?
How about chat rooms (video chats preferably) where people could discuss arrangements. Also a place where they could vision the idea, have mastermind meetings to see about turning it into a real project.
3) Which companies would you want to talk to through a platform like this?
Interesting. Actually, giving the ideas to companies, not just individual to individual. And Tesla was mentioned, so maybe I should have considered that as a possibility.
There is a specific mobile carrier, whose customer service has dropped from a 5-out-of-5, to a 2-out-of-5 and I might like to make suggestions to them.
Other than that, I don’t really have a specific company in mind. I would love to be able to reach a decision maker in any company where I have been having challenges or see a way an improvement might be made.
4) Where do you normally leave feedback for a company or product and what would you improve about that experience?
Well . . . many of the companies I shop with have surveys after the contact. That is where I most often provide my thoughts. Sometimes, I don’t bother, however, such as with that certain mobile company. Because, it seems everything has been worked out, so I would give a glowing review. But I find out days or weeks later that there is still a problem. Having somewhere I could contact a person, who could/would actually make a difference.
5) Any additional feedback is much appreciated.
I guess I didn’t completely understand the idea of the site. As an entrepreneur who loves to play with ideas, I would enjoy a site where individuals could do just that. And not necessarily just for sharing ideas and needs for ideas about/with companies.
