What is your initial impression of the site?
My first impressional was that I loved the blue color and that the layout of the page of was hip and young. I liked how short the page was meaning I didn’t have to scroll down a long boring page. Of course the addition of twitter and facebook was very appealing. I also liked the scrolling banner on the page, it makes it easy to see what each tab contains. I must say the name Koofers is a little odd to me but on the hand it is very catchy and the logo is very nice.
After taking a peak around, this is a jewel. It’s a social network with an academic twist. This website screams yes to the tech savvy generation. Of course it is a great plus that it is totally free. I love the partnering with the academia of the university that really shows a great level of integrity on the part of Koofers. I also like how you take it one step further and have a careers section allowing for interns for the company.
As a former college student I would have loved this. My only thought is that I hope it doesn’t slacken on it’s academic hold. Overall I would give Koofer’s an A+.
