  1. 1. Look at the home page what is your initial impression of what you see?
This website seems to offer a free tool bar to download that can help you memorize your educational materials. This site appears to have been started sometime early this year.
    2. If you study some educational material on computer or web, would you use website?
Maybe. I guess this depends on what type of college class I’m taking.

    3. Do you really understand what benefit you have from using this website?
Although I do understand the purpose of this website is to help college students memorize educational material in a digital format, I don’t really know how this website can benefit me.
    4.  Did you feel lost while using this site? At what point?
No, I did not feel lost when I used this website. This website was very easy to use. In the top right hand corner, you could either sign up or sign in to use their free services. On the website’s front page, you could either click for an example of how the tool bar works or a tutorial, which is a teal green color to the left.

    5. If you are a student for real, do you have most of your materials in digital copy or edition?
As a community college student, my educational materials are provided in both digital and print edition format.

    6. Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I think the overall purpose of loco learning is to provide college students with a better way to organize their educational materials in digital format.

  2. 1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
It is an educational website that provides free learning tool. It makes me wanted to know how it works, so i click on the ‘quick tutorial’ for more details. The tutorial is simple and easy to understand and the instruction is clear. After go through some feature on your website, such as the search bar, the add test and publish, I started to know the concept of the website. It allows people to publish a test and other people can search for it too, which it is like a cloud that store every test that has been posted by the users.
    2) if you study some educational material on computer or web, would you use website?
Yes, I would like to have learning tool that can help me to improve my learning experience. Such as your website. It is very useful for the learning process, especially for memorizing and remembering the content of an article.
    3) Do you really understand what benefit you have from using website?
From what I know, when I am trying to study something on the web or computer, i can always copy paste the content into the tool you provided. it help me to improve my learning outcome for remembering the keywords, better understanding and also it is a convenient and efficient tool for studies,
    3) Did you feel lost while using site? At what point?
No, everything is very straight forward, which the the tutorial made it very clear of how it works and what to do. When i go through the tutorial, there is a point that take me some time to learn, which is when it tell us to highlight any words and click publish. When i read the instruction, i do not know where to click, it’s because i didn’t know that the content under the ‘publish’ button is the content that i should click on. At here, I suggest that you can make the border of the content more noticeable or you can have a label above the content and the publish button can be placed the content. It would not be a problem for people who familiar with the website, but it might have some problem for new user.
    4) If you are student for real, do you have most of your materials in digital copy or edition?
I have most of my materials in digital copy. Nowadays, most of the college and university have their materials in digital as the lecturer will publish the materials to the internet to allow students to download.

I like the concept of this site, this is also the first time I interact with this kind of education tool on the internet. it is very flexible and convenient. For a better presentation of your service to the visitors, a short video would be perfect, which it include all the important point of how your site works and any other important thing that you want to let the visitors to know.

  3. 1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
I like the interface of the site. The background picture fits very well to the theme of the website.
I would like to see more info o n what the website does.First impressions are very valuable.

    2) if you study some educational material on computer or web, would you use website?
I would probably use another website, simply because of the lack of information this one has.

    3) Do you really understand what benefit you have from using website?
To be honest, not really. The information is not clear enough.

    3) Did you feel lost while using site? At what point?
Yes.I clicked on ‘quick tutorial’ and after 2 pages I got stuck. I could not go back. nor return to the homepage.

    4) If you are student for real, do you have most of your materials in digital copy or edition?
I am a real student. I have most of my materials in digital copies.
    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I would like to see more info on the website and how it is going to help me memorize information. I would like to see a more user-friendly interface. The spelling needs to be checked.

  4. 1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
They say first impressions last. Mine were too simple and in the first 5 second nothing grabbed me or attracted me to stay on the page. Not to sound too harsh with first impression but out of what i got is it a tool that will help me to learn and show my progress that all sounds fine. My thoughts on a stack of books is not good and miss the smiling student faces that is full of hope for a bright future. I am tempted to press on the green or yellow buttons but they confuse me as the word example does not quit fit I would rather go for something more witty or inviting like a Quick look inside or In a nutshell or program at a glance or even 3min video.
I got stuck on the Quick tutorial and when I pressed published nothing happened. When I pressed back button I was out of the page and had to start over. Not good for first time visit.
Pressing the green button for the example was much better and it gave me a better idea. Still quite puzzled on how this will help my learning

    2) if you study some educational material on computer or web, would you use website?
Too early too tell. Will have to spend some more time on the site and do some practical examples. Unless this tool comes recommended by my educator or friends it does not appeal to me thus far. Too little info when pressing on the about button. Guess I am not the kind of guy that likes to figure out how learning tools work but rather someone who goes on other peoples recommendations of things that have worked for them and can possibly also help me. I would suggest as the website develops to add testimonials and add some more excitement. Learning can be as boring or as captivating as you would present it.

    3) Do you really understand what benefit you have from using website?
Honestly speaking. After 10 min flicking through the tutorial and the example I still have no clue how to use it or how it will help me. I guess the problem of effective learning has not been addressed and before I see my own need and how this will help me I guess the benefit will be hidden and I will miss the advantage of this website. Be more plain and specific on why this site will help me rather than the how.

    4) Did you feel lost while using site? At what point?
Yes after the first click it got me lost and I feels it greatly lacks the human element to it. It gave me a feeling that it is just copy and past. Have no clue how there can be questions after a youtube video as how can this program or tool take out specific facts and order it in questions with blacks. It kinda does not add up. If they use this kind of programs it surely cannot be free.

    5) If you are student for real, do you have most of your materials in digital copy or edition?
    Digital

    6) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I like the clean and simplistic feel of the site but yet to grasp how and why it will work for me. I strongly suggest a instructional video that will walk me through the concept and sell me my problem as why most people struggle to learn. Would also ad some real pictures of people and students. In the about there would be a great seller if you can tell your audience why this tool were developed and how it helped you. My overall impression is someone created this website because they got bored at learning and just put something together for the sake of killing time rather helping real people with real learning difficulties.
Hope I did not come across too strong and if I miss it then present your tool in a different way for what it really is.
    All the best

    1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
Right off the bat, I see an open book and other closed books suggesting it is an educational website. After reading the very clear and concise heading, I learn that it is a website tool that helps people study.
    2) if you study some educational material on computer or web, would you use website?
It would depend on how effective the website is. If it really does help, I would definitely use it all the time.
    3) Do you really understand what benefit you have from using website?
Yes, it can provide tests, or other tools to help you memorize certain elements of knowledge from the web.
    3) Did you feel lost while using site? At what point?
No, it is really clear and everything made sense to me.
    4) If you are student for real, do you have most of your materials in digital copy or edition?
Yes, I have ebooks of almost all of my texts, however, some of the have the copy feature blocked as they are viewed from a website.
    4) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Overall, I really like the website and its idea. However, if there would be some new data base, that already has tests for certain webpages, that would make it easier as I am sure some people would not be too fond of creating their own test.
