Here are my points and suggestions that i’ve noted,
>Make the video more professional as well as informative, coz its actually the only thing availiable for user to understatnd your app. here are some tips
>In the video all you show are some game snippets, but its not clear how this is good for a child, or helpful in educational purpose, try to include the game portions that show how this is gonna helpful for the child.say for example a portion of the app to show how it help to the teach the child how to add (this is an ex, i actualy don know what your app teaches, SO IS ANYONE WHO SEE THIS SITE.hope you got the point)
>with more informative parts of your app and also video can include a testimonial from a dad or a teacher or may be a teacher who worked for this app, selecting the stories for the app.
>You have a CONTACT US at the bottom of the page but its not actualy CONTACT US, you cannot be contacted with that!! go for a better contact us page, and at the bottom FIND US may be more suitable.
>After you launch the app, try to incude some testimonials , I think that may be a lot helpfull.like, Learn stories is really amazing, My son started using this app and it was realy easy for him to start with simple maths! Thanks to learn stories! 😀 , also testimonials from teachers may help.(Atleast now you can give the testimonial from a teacher who worked for the app)
>Now I guess you found another small glich, just a suggestion, rethink if ‘learn stories’ is a good name for the app you may try sumthing like iLearn 😀 or Fun Learning 😀
>And in the website, you made it looks good , but in case of font, you may try a different one , i guess that may be good. and i suggest ‘COMIC SANS’ font.
>In the website try to show how your app is gonna help the child, there are a lot of educational apps availiable,so try to show how your app is different.
Visit https://www.learnstories.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
The site is about allowing children to learn things through iphone or ipad with the story and games you provided.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
The game or slides in the video is not attractive or interesting enough for me. But for a child it might be interesting. The person who will be watching the video is a child parents or their brother or sisters which is adult. You have to impress them with something more interesting in order to make them wanted to have it for their child. Watching the video don’t give me a clear view of how the kids going to learn things from the apps.
I suggest you can create a page for the visitors to have a game demo in your site, let them have a look and try it. Display some example of stories. I don’t find anything bothersome as your site is simple and straight forward. I like your homepage because it is straight forward. Also i like that you allow customers who interested to subscribe it. Visitor can contact you through facebook, twitter and email, it’s very convenience.
I like the idea of your service, which is providing a educational apps for the kids.
Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
First, there is no account to signup. Base on your description, i only know i can subscribe by entering my email and you will notice me when the new apps is available. If i have kids and my kids is always playing games, which is not helpful for their knowledge, i will subscribe for it. But i wanted to try it first. So i will likely to sign up for a free trial if you offered.
After viewing our website, would you be interested on trying a beta version of our app?
Yes, i would likely to try on it.ÂÂ
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
The homepage is not attractive enough to caught the visitors for subscribing for the newsletter, The description is a bit too long for me, i suggest you can make it into a list. Such as, create a  list for the benefits of your apps. The video should auto played after the page loaded, to make sure the visitor watch it.
Your site is only one paged, you can create more pages for the site, such as adding the contact us into another page include a contact number if you dont mind, because it’s going to be more helpful for the visitors. Also you can have a screenshot page or a demo page for the visitors to try the app online. You can also create a ‘about us’ page to tell the visitor what your company do and what is the objective and purpose of this app. It will make the entire site looks more professional.
Also, state that you will always update the app because the stories in the app will be finish played by the kids, so you have to always update it to keep the app going. This will gain more confidence for your customers toward your service. you can add additional feature into the app in the future.ÂÂ
You should give some examples of the stories and allow visitors to see whether the stories contain any morale value or any knowledge relevant story. This is just to make the visitors feel trusted with your app. In the future, you can create a forum for the people who using your app to suggest any new story or give any feedbacks to improve your app. It will be more interactive with the users.
Visit
https://www.learnstories.com . Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
This is an educational app for the ipad and iphone.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
I really like the header on your homepage. The learn storties is really a shining point on your page. I don’t quit understand and or like the rest of the homepage. It’s much to dark on the side and makes me think if a circus/ movie instead of a educational app. Just from the look of it, it doesn’t quit scream educational. I also wonder why you don’t have the the “an” capitalized in your description line.
ÂÂ
In the text below the video the “been” should have read “being”. I like that you pose questions at the bottom of the page because it makes people think about what they let their children watch.
ÂÂ
Unfortuantely I was unable to watch the video past the first 8 seconds. I would have liked to have know what the app is about prior to even attempting to watch the video. I find odd that their is only one word that address what might be on your site and that is the word stories. I would certainly like a little descriptive text stating what I could get from your app.
ÂÂ
In the title LearnStories I think there needs to be a slight space as not to make it look like one word even though you use capital letters.
ÂÂ
As far as the video looks against the homepage it’s sort of watching the same picture three times over. The background is just like the video which is just like the picture in picture on the video itself. Where is the visual variety? There is an overuse of a good idea.
Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
There is no mention of free trial or account. I find the free account more appealing because like with any product, especially with children, I would want to test it out first.
After viewing our website, would you be interested on trying a beta version of our app?
Right now I would have to say I’m not interested in your app because I have no idea of what your app does. I was not able to watch the video and there is no details of what your app is all about.
ÂÂ
I like the read more section in which you go into more detail about your site. You go into such intresting details with stories and lessons that I just wish that I that could see some of the lessons and some possible screen shots.
ÂÂ
As you can see I’m on the fence about your app. I like the way it sounds but I really would like more detail.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
ÂÂ
I had a chance to play more of the video and the app looks very fun and interesting. I would like see some testimonial or rating as to how effective the app was. I would even like to see a professional opinion on how the effectiveness your app is. I think it would just give it that edge of sophication and proof. I know your state that i’s designed by psychologist and teachers but I would like to see some and or hear what they have to say about the app through a quick video or information section.
Interesting. When I first entered the website, I could immediately see the text above the video depicting the purpose of the website, “An ipad and iphone educational app for kids play, learn, dream.” In this sentence, I noticed a grammatical error (there should be a period after kids). In conclusion, this website is about an educational application for iphone and ipad for children.
One of the things I personally found bothersome was the music once the video started playing. I know it isn’t hip-hop or one of my favorite Godsmack songs, but perhaps it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get other people’s opinion on the music. One thing I like about the website was it’s presentation feel and ability to quickly explain the purpose (I can’t tell you how many websites I visited and couldn’t figure out what it was used for). However, the application itself isn’t explained well. What will the application teach my child? Math, read, or/and history?
If I had children and I wanted them to obtain a great deal of education while playing video games (not Call of Duty), I would definitely consider a trial. However, I’m only 21 years old and do not have children.
Definitely. I have a droid phone and wonder if it’s compatible or not. I’m curious to how educational and well-designed this program is. If it’s effective in teaching young children valuable education, I will be more than certain to like my nephew give the application a try, so long as he doesn’t chew on my Smartphone.ÂÂ
I don’t mean to be a grammar wizard, but I also noticed an error in one of the three sentences under the video. It says, “Are you tired of not been able to find appropriate apps for your children?” Revision: Are you tired of being able to find appropriate apps for your children?
I hope my feedback was effective and truly enjoyed the layout of your website. Keep up the good work and I hope you’re successful.
https://www.learnstories.com . Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
Site is about ipad & iphone apps for children.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
Home page looks vey dark as this website is children related should used light colours may be pink could be a good idea.
Idea of showing the video is very good but i believe in addition to the video some information about apps should be there on home page may be in bullet points.
The Purpose of Coming soon App Store tag is unknown to me.
Content in video is very good which would attract the customer but but background of the home page and video is similar may this should be different which would definetly looks more attractive than its present looks.
Easy process for subscription is a good idea.
Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
May be not, due to the only fact of dark background and not so impresive video.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
The background has to be changed.
Contact us details are not conclusive
Video could be more attractive.

What do you think the site is about?
>The site is about an Educational Iphone Application.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
>The site’s color isn’t grateful for kids. Brighter colors are much appreciative for kids.
>Few Language Support for the visitors
Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
>I’am encourage to sign up since i’ve have read a great deal such as an educational game.
After viewing our website, would you be interested on trying a beta version of our app?
>Most probably yes, since it is worth it for my nephews and nieces learning progress.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
>Site color might be scary for kids who knows how to surf and lurk.ÂÂ
>Brighter colors and joyful themes will be more appreciated by kids as well as the guardians.ÂÂ
>Additional Language Support for the site
After viewing https://www.learnstories.com/ for 10 seconds I understand the website to be about applications made available through the IPhone or IPad for kids. I like the look and feel of the website it is perfect and attractive for kids and parents with kids, and other family members that want to purchase for the young people in their life. The thing that puzzled me is the video in the middle of the screen. It does make me want to see what’s on it, but I would like to have a caption to know what I’m going to view before I start. Even though I don’t have kids yet I do know people who do and would sign up so I could purchase games for them, so yes I am encouraged to sign up for a free trial because it’s a good idea and much needed. I would also be interested in a beta version, but I don’t have an IPhone or IPad. That is another bothersome thing about this application is that at first glance it’s not available outside of the IPhone or IPad. Most kids don’t have either. This is a good idea for multiple platforms.
Visit https://www.learnstories.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
They have made it clear from the start that the site is about Ipad and Iphone children’s educational applications. The app is not yet in the market and the client base is parents.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
Bothersome
I don’t like the read more toggle where you get information on why to subscribe. Would prefer the information to be there on site load.
The site’s background is too dark, and in particular down the site where the words appear.
The site would do with more information as to what app does and maybe show its strong points against other likewise apps in the market.
Like
Like the way site sells itself by being direct and not deviating from what they are offering.
Like the video, it is strategically placed and is interactive albeit short.
The site is quite simple, a one pager where movement is minimal.
Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
If I were a parent I would have signed up immediately. The site raises curiosity adeptly.
After viewing our website, would you be interested on trying a beta version of our app?
Most definitely I would. If I have children, it would be a worthy investment against all the other said distractions/negatives children engage in named on the site.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Instead of specifying parents as the preferred clients only, you could also address it to other people who know parents/guardians who would be interested. They would then put the e-mail addresses of the said persons or something to that effect. The site needs color and more images. Images should be of children and how app sits on the Ipad and Iphone since video doesn’t really accomplish this. An E-mail address being personal information should contain clauses against disclosure.
Using Mac 10.6.8 with Safari and Firefox
Visit https://www.learnstories.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
First impressions of the site suggest that it is an educational app for iPod/iPad/iPhone with an online component.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
Dislike: There is not enough information regarding the app to provide a decent understanding of what it contains. While the video gives a preview that the app may be interesting for children, it doesn’t give a glimpse of its content.
Having to subscribe to a newsletter to get more information on the project. It would be nice to have access to even just highlights from previous newsletters from the site without having to subscribe.
Not being able to access a working version of the app. Though I know that the primary aim of the site to to ‘sell’ the app, and that the site (and not the app) is the focus here, not having the app available is a let down, and makes the site feel redundant (can’t wait to try the app though!)
The lack of information. You need to have an additional page on the site that provides more information on some of the programs available, screenshots showing these programs with some information about them
The Spanish language link is too small. I almost didn’t notice it (in fact, it was only because of a Spanish version of the video that I looked for it and saw it).
Being directed to another site (the vimeo site) to watch the videos that pop up in the video box (a repeat of the English one and the Spanish version of it). These actually caused some problems loading on Safari.ÂÂ
Like: The video. It is positioned well, and its content gives an intriguing look at what the app offers. The let down is that there is little more information to gain from the site.
The multi-language options, and the multi-language videos. Spanish page functioned same as English page.
The idea that the app is available in both English and Spanish.
The Facebook ‘Like’ and Tweet work. That is nice, because I have tested sites where these don’t work!
Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
At current, I am interested in the program that is being presented through the site. I am looking forward to when it is released. However, I do not really want to sign up for a newsletter. I feel that an “updates” tab should be included on the site.
After viewing our website, would you be interested on trying a beta version of our app?
Yes, I am! Having several nieces who like to steal my iPad when they can having a few more apps they can enjoy would be nice.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
As noted, having a tab/page with updates and highlights from the newsletters on it would be great!
Larger image/text for the link to the Spanish page (and vise-versa– larger image/text for the link to the English page from the Spanish one).
More information and images regarding the activities on the app is needed. The video does not provide enough insight into what is contained in the program being offered, and, outside of the newsletters, there does not seem to be any real information on the site to inform me what is on the app. In fact, the lack of information on the site makes me feel hesitant to even sign up for a newsletter, because I do not have enough information to know if I even want to know more about the app. That, and I don’t like newsletters (and there are many people like me!)
Note: the line “Had enough of wasted time looking…” is bad grammar. It should be reworded to say “Wasted enough time looking…” or “Had enough of wasting time looking…”
(I tried to submit this 5 times!!!)
ÂÂ
1). What do you think the site is about?
Your site is an app- appropriate site for children to not only play interactive and entertaining games, but to learn from these games, as well.
2). What do you find bothersome?
ÂÂ
I did not find anything bothersome.
3). What do you like?
– A variety of games are offered and updated, as well. This is good for children for they can and do learn quickly and can become bored easily by performing the same activities.
– Games are geared towards different age levels.
– Games are developed by trained and professional teachers and development psychologists.
– These games can be played using an iPhone and iPad. Thus, they can be taken and played anywhere. This could be very beneficial for the parent especially when the child becomes bored during adult activities such as shopping.
4). Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
– I would most certainly be interested if I had children. However, I will pass this website on to parents I know.
5). After viewing our website, would you be interested on trying a beta version of our app?
– I wouldn’t be because I do not use Beta.
6). Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
– I think the graphics are great. The pictures are colourful and the characters appear friendly and interesting.
Visit https://www.learnstories.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
I think this site is exactly what they promote: an educational app for iPad and iPhone. I really really loved this website! The boarder of the website, the font and the “introducing theme” of this site. As a parent of a 4 year old, I am always looking for educational material for my child. I absolutely loved this site immediately and this prompted me to sign up with the company.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
The signing up process was bothersome. I eventually was able to add my name to the sign up list and I hope I was successfully able to add my name. Also I wanted to “like this” via Facebook however I do not know if it calculated. The music on the main page was too fast. I found it bothersome that the children in the marketing / announcement opening piece all looked the same – I would recommend a diverse group of children playing with the app.
Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
I am definitely encouraged to sign up for a free trial / free account. If it needs to be a paid account I would probably not do it.
After viewing our website, would you be interested on trying a beta version of our app?
I am very interested in trying the beta version of the app. I would appreciate your company contacting me regarding future opportunities.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I can not wait for this app to be available to families with young children! I believe this app will have young people engaged for a long time with your educational tool.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
I think it is bothersome that this Web Site is trying to promote the use of ipad and iphone for educational means for small children. The page is colorful and inviting, also easy to navigate. Though, the message that education should come through the source of an iphone is wrong. Especially with the studies out there that TV and the like is not good for small children. Even though, I like the video that they have posted up. This easily gives information about what they are trying to sell. It is fun to watch rather than read.
Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
If I was for the morality of using iphones for small children, yes I would be tempted to proceed in signing up.
After viewing our website, would you be interested on trying a beta version of our app?
No, I would not be interested.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
The Web Site was definitely inviting and easy to navigate. The section to put email address in at the bottom was easily accessible. Great Web Site.
