I played The Benefits of E-learning, the game was more effective b’coz it provides immediate results. It provides a challenge in the minds of game taker to provide correct answer rather loose 8 points. The game was positive.
How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?
The user interface is more user friendly and the next button click navigates to next page on appropriate peak time saving us from being left with our answers unanswered. The numbers of players taking the quiz is not updated immediately in Taken tag at Home Page. This could be updated otherwise the website is well organized.
Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?
Sure Yes b’coz the game doesn’t just limit to entertainment but history, education, sports etc which gives a live update on our knowledge of information.

There is no children quizzes loaded yet, so its recommended that daily trivia educational game be loaded for children  b’coz it would benefit their knowledge upgrade. The children quizzes must be designed with cartoon characters to attract them to daily take their educational games.

The quiz was okay with 12sec for each question. You should allow more time for longer questions though, as reading time takes longer. Maybe incorporate a system that adds 1 sec for every 5 words or something?
I did not like the fact that the whole page kept refreshing each time I clicked “Next Question”, it was annoying. You should be able to make only the quiz screen refresh, not the whole page. It would be much better.
It’s nice that when I click on a link while doing the quiz, the link opens in a new window, as such it does not interfere me.
How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?
It is generally good, user-friendly and simple. The only I can see how to improve it is to refresh only the quiz screen, not the window. Also, I like the colours of the button used !

Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?
If a subject would interest me, yes I would consider playing a daily trivia. But, does this include a chance to win prizes/rewards ? That would add to its charm a lot if you could add some rewards/gifts/prizes to top scorers. Even something as little as a gift voucher, or discount voucher would get you more people to play !

The first thing I noticed that could be improved is that “Already a member?” and “Not a member?” boxes, they are kind of repetitive. As such it would be best to just include the “Already a member” Log in details, and underneath put a hyperlink to another page with the “Not a member?” fields to fill up. The hyperlink could be “Not a member?”.
You website does not seem to follow a colour scheme? The top (header) is very nice but it is disappointing that your body does not color your header’s colours, fonts, style.
Why do you have “Sign Up” and “Forgot Password?” as tabs? They both should be in the header and only there. It is kind of awkward to have them as tabs, the tabs should be used only for navigation around the website. Not for signing up or trivial matters as forgotten passwords.
You could include a “Most popular” or “Best ranking” tab for your games. It would be nice. Even a “New Trivia” tab. I just find out your had “Recent Trivias” on your side bar, it is not noticeable enough, and you shouldn’t put it so much at the bottom. You might, as such, consider rearranging your side bar, maybe put the categories to a left side bar, of simply replace the quizzes on the main page with the categories, the user will have to select a category first.
The search engine is nice as it allows me to find which trivia I want to do.
I like your header, nice style, colour, font as well as a nice slogan !

  3. I would like to comment on your last statement about “children quizzes”, please note that their target Audience are “From teens to seniors”, thus not including children/kids.

I did the Medication side affects Trivia Quiz.  I thought it would be more trivia based, but it seem more like I was doing work.  I guess it would help if I was a doctor studying for exam, but not fun.  When I clicked on “Games” tab at the top, I was not taken to any games.  It was almost like a blog.

How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?

UI could be improved by making your site look more fun.  It doesn’t invoke warm and fuzzy feelings of fun and games. Improvement suggestions in actionable suggestion section.

Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?

Ok attempting John Rockafeller quiz.  I really wish there were less true/false questions and more multiple choice with “fun” answers that could seem crazy but could still be possible.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

    Actionable suggestions:
    1. First I would not call a section “Games” and have no actual games.  this is misleading.  The “Games section looks like a blog with postings.  Big letdown.
    2. I would not consider “Trivia Quizzes” games.  Some are like doing homework and are not as fun as I would like.  I would like to see more creative options in the multiple choice and less true/false.
    3. I like your logo, it displays a fun/cartoony side for your brand, however all of the boring fonts cancel out the fun side of things.  You need to use a good font for your quiz titles, and the way you have your links on the left side of the page makes your site look more like a spam-landing page (About.com) rather than an actual site that someone intended to go to.
    4. Under “Daily Trivia” there is the title: Social Network Movie.  Looks like a movie review.  I click on it and it is a quiz.  Confusing!  Should say quiz if it is a quiz and should be with the other quizzes.
    5. Your homepage is Choatic!  Quizzes all over the place.  Why not have a tab linking to  http://www.mastersoftrivia.com/quizzes  page and have all of your quizzes here or have one quiz of the day highlighted on your homepage.  I don’t think you should put all of them on your homepage.
    6. I see two sign-up boxes in upper right hand corner.  Really not needed.  One signup box should suffice.
    7. I think you should stay consistent with your titles.  One says Monopoly Trivia Game, others are Trivia Quizzes, while yet others do not say Trivia, Game or Quiz.  Consistency would be nice and should up your brand quality.  As is looks like you have several content editors that are not on the same page.

  5. Please play any game on the site and share your experience, whether positive or negative.
I played Animals/Dogs.  I got 8 correct and 2 wrong.  I guessed at some of the answers.  I feel that 10 questions is appropriate for the time alloted for each question.  I did not wait for a question to expire.  I assume that the question is counted as an incorrect response.  It was a fun, positive experience.
How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?
The site is easy to navigate in theory, although I question some of the categories and the links within subcategory titles. For instance, https://www.mastersoftrivia.com/business-196.html should Celebrities and Shopping be a category within Business?  If they are intended to reside within the Business Category, that’s fine.
Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?
Yes, if there was a subject that was of particular interest to me, or that I wanted to learn more about.  See the next question for comments relating to this one.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
I could see this company forming different alliances with schools and their associated text books/curriculums.  If you could partner with a school to provide “trivia” questions following their prescribed textbooks, then children might have a fun way to review for tests and quizzes.  They could be eligible for your prizes which would encourage them to study their course material prior to taking the trivia challenges.

Through a limited spot check, I noticed that some categories are completely blank.  I assume there are no trivia questions created for them.  For example, Children and Environment & Nature.  Also, if you drill down within a main category, some subcategories are blank.  For example, Celebrities/Famous Men and Fine Art/Animals/Bears.  Perhaps gray them out to the user until there is an active trivia available?

Lastly, I see there are contributors, editors, and the like.  What is your process for ensuring that they really know the information to contribute or edit a contribution?  How do you prevent erroneous information from being published?

I did not see where there was any incentive to post trivia.  Is it based on passion/interest alone that the person would want to post trivia?

    Hope this helps.

I played two games, and I found both of them challenging.  They might have been somewhat less challenging if they hadn’t been timed.  I didn’t love that aspect because I’m not always a fast thinker.  I liked that you gave me the correct answers at the end so that I didn’t have to create an account to see how I did.  It would’ve been very annoying if I took the whole quiz only to be told that I had to register before I could see my results.  My only other comment is that I thought your selection of quizzes could definitely be expanded.  I’m sure that will come in time, but right now, there weren’t a whole lot that interested me.

How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?
I’m not sure if you’re asking about your user interface in general or just for the quizzes.  I had no trouble locating the quiz categories on the right side of the home page, searching through them, and taking the quizzes.  It was all very intuitive.  I don’t think any of that needs to be changed.

Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?
Probably not, but I’m not really a big trivia fan.  I can imagine it would be appealing to trivia buffs, though.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
Let’s start with the home page.  Here, you have quite a lot of tabs–two rows of them, in fact.  I’m not sure you need that many.  Some of them, in fact, such as Sign Up, are repeated.  That seems unnecessary.  Do you really need separate tabs for all your social networking profiles?  Couldn’t you just add buttons for each social networking site farther down the page or at least combine these tabs into one tab called Social Networking or something?  Second, I don’t think you need to display so many quizzes on the home page.  I’d rather see just a few of your most popular quizzes.  Then you have this very, very long sidebar on the right.  Many of the things in your sidebar seem to be just repeats of your tabs at the top.  Also, it’s not clear why some of the quizzes featured in the sidebar have been selected for that kind of “special treatment.”  For example, you feature Photo Trivia and Endless Trivia Marathon in the sidebar.  Are those particularly popular quizzes?  If not, why would you randomly choose to feature those quizzes in the sidebar?  My point is that you have a very long sidebar, so you should probably be more selective about what you feature in it.

Next, I visited some of your tabs.  The first was Player Standings.  I liked that you compile a list of the top players.  That should help motivate quiz takers to keep playing.  The second tab I visited was the MOT Community.  Here, I expected a forum and was surprised to see a list of all your contributors and editors.  Does this really need its own separate tab?  Wouldn’t it be better to maybe combine Player Standings and Contributors into a tab called Players with a drop-down selection of Player Standings and Contributors?  Just thinking of ways to condense the tabs on your home page some.  My next stop was your blog, which actually seemed less like a blog than another listing of your various quizzes.  If your blog is just meant to announce new quizzes, I’d suggest eliminating it and instead creating a What’s New drop-down selection under Games.

After I finished with the lower row of tabs, I moved to the upper row.  I started with your About Us page, which looked ok except for a small grammatical error–commas and periods should be inside quotation marks, not outside.  When I moved on to Play & Win, I was surprised to see that this was an instructional page.  I had thought this would take me right to the quizzes, so I think you should change the name of this tab to How to Win or something similar.  This is the first I really understood that players could win actual prizes.  This is a BIG draw, so when you start actually handing them out, I think you should add a big button that says “Win Prizes” above the fold on your home page.  Next, I visited Rules of Mot, and again, I was surprised.  I was expecting this to be game rules, not rules of conduct.  This is a good example of another page that probably shouldn’t have its own tab.  This page and your current Play & Win page should probably be in a drop-down menu under a tab called How to Win or something similar.  My next stop was Games, and once more I was surprised because I thought this would take me right to the quizzes.  This is more information that could be combined under a Play & Win tab or something like that.  The same goes for the Create Trivia tab.  Again, I’m thinking this is going to take me right to some kind of form that will enable me to create my own game.  Instead, it’s informational.  Combine, combine, combine!  Bottom line here: Put Play & Win, Rules of MOT, Games, and Create Trivia all under one tab called something like How to Play.  Your Help page is not finished yet, so it’s hard to comment on that.  Moving on to your Advertise page…there’s not much to it.  If I was a business, I doubt the minimal amount of info you provide here would convince me to advertise with you.  I’d like to know how much traffic you get, what pricing plans you offer, and so on.  Finally, the contact form looks fine, and I appreciate that you respond within 24 hours on weekdays.

After all this, one thing that occurs to me is that I still don’t know how to create my own trivia quiz.  On the Create Trivia page, you said that I should pick a category and add my quiz to it.  Yet when I looked through the categories, I saw no option to create my own quiz.  Maybe this is a feature that you only see once you’ve registered.  However, if that’s so, I think you’re missing out on an opportunity to get new users interesting in registering.  My suggestion is to add a button that says “Create Your Own Quiz” or something similar both to the home page and to every page of search results and category listings.  Then, when an interested user clicks on it, a form can pop up instructing them to register.  I think that would entice more people to sign up.

One more comment: Some of your page loads were unbelievably slow.

  7. Please play any game on the site and share your experience, whether positive or negative.
Initially I wanted to try a travel game but not being from the US I didn’t find the topics appealed to me. Obviously in time you will add to these topics to cover a wider audience. I then found the geography games which appealed to me a lot more and I played The Europe Geography Trivia Quiz. It wasn’t what I expected as the questions ventured outside of the popular European countries, but it was challenging. I think you have to be careful how long you make your questions as by the time I thoroughly read the longer questions there wasn’t a lot of time left to choose an answer. Also this seemed like a school test rather than a fun game.

How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?
I don’t particularly like the user interface for a number of reasons.
    1. I dislike how during a quiz/game the whole page reloads when you submit your answer not just the game screen.
    2. With the whole page refreshing when submitting a question it meant I had to keep scrolling down for each new question so the next question button was visible. This took up valuable time meaning I had less time to read the question and submit my answer plus highly annoying.
    3. I think the home page could be improved. It doesn’t give off the vibe of fun and games, the color scheme is dull and drab. The very light blue strip of color behind the quiz titles on the home page isn’t fun and doesn’t grab my attention at all.
    4. The categories column on the right hand side of the home page could be improved. It looks like a lot of thought and work has gone into making all those category stars unique, but unfortunately they are so small I can’t actually make out what is pictured inside the stars. Making these a larger feature could make the page look more fun and lively.
    5. There is so much information all over the place, it’s a lot to take in at once. Nothing really jumps out on any singular page to catch my attention. There are a lot of tabs on the homepage, too much information at once.
    6. The categories and sub categories and sub sub categories are a little confusing and hard to follow. For example I clicked on the category business, then under the sub category shopping I clicked on flowers. That then took me to another menu titled tulips that had a sub menu of flowers, shopping, tulips, bulbs etc. I then had to click on shopping again to actually take me to a quiz/game. It took me on a big round about loop just to get to the quiz.

Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?
If the user interface was improved then I might consider it. Also if there was a good reward system in place it would definitely sway my decision. I did read this on the site “We are still a little dusty (in beta stage). But we intend to reward the members who accrue the most points with special gifts and prizes. So please keep your contact info updated and keep playing for more points!” A good points system that would appeal to me would be an online store that you could spend your points in or online auctions.

I do like the name “Masters of Trivia” I think this is very catchy.
On the home page you have “Already a Member?” and “Not a Member?” this is a little confusing as the boxes look almost identical and I could see myself along with other users putting their log in information into the wrong box if not fully paying attention.
I really like that you link in with social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace.
I wanted to try create my own quiz as I think this could be a real feature of the site. After finally finding the small tab “Create Trivia” it took me to a Master of Trivia Contributors page which wasn’t what I was looking for. I then signed up for an account as I thought this may be a feature I can only access as a user. It took me a while and then finally under my profile I found a link to create my own quiz. I think this should be a feature of the site, on the homepage you need a big, bold stand out button “sign up now to CREATE YOUR OWN QUIZ”.
I did find the registration very easy and fast. No long forms of information to fill out like normal which was a nice surprise.

All in all I think the idea is great but it just needs a vamp up to make it look modern, fun and easier to navigate.

The quiz I chose to take was Ice Cube. I chose this one because I was tired of searching for a quiz and I am familiar with who he is. At the start of the quiz I was asked to sign in, create an account or just play. The question themself were fine but some of them seemed to get a little off topic. I was only able to complete 17 of the 25 questions. I think that the questions need to limited to twenty. It’s short but long enough to still feel like your taking a fun quiz. I don’t like how it takes so long to move the next question, hence that eats away some of the time that you have alloted. Again I only got up to question 17 and the screen just shifted me to results portion of the quiz. On the results page questions 18-25 were all the same. That would have been very frustrating if I had to go through answering the same questions over and over just to finish.
How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?
I think that you have way to many tabs. I like to see tabs for easy searching but you have tabs on the top and bottom. Tabs are supposed to easy to view and I find myself having to read all of the them which is not quick. I also think that your homepage is way to long. Of course you want to keep your category section but I would suggest narrowing down the quizzes on the homepage to the most popular ones and maybe one or two that are qurky. Trivia is supposed to be fun and exciting and the way you have the page set up doesn’t convey that.  The trivia boxes are not uniformed: in the seize of the text box, the size of the pictures and the quality of the photo. I do however like the little history given in the trivia boxes.

Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?
Yes it would be nice to play a daily trivia if it was related to things that I liked.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
At the very top of your page you have master of trivia but I dont understand why you have a question mark there. Your not asking a question, its a phrase so I would consider taking that out. There also seems to be no direct color scheme to your site. I would also make sure that none of your pictures are offesinve. I clicked on the Pamela Anderson quiz and I did not like the candid picture of her. You may also want to move the Popular tags section else where, its hardly noticeable. When you click on the quiz itself I like the recent trivia, related trvia and tags but I find the links box is unecessary. The adds on the page are just way to big on the top and side of the page. I think that you need to show why is it necessary to sign up to take the quiz. Most people can probably remember their answers so that should be empahised because as of right now I don’t really see the point. I also think that you need a home tab on the quiz page or a least a search box if someone wants to leave the quiz their doing to jump to another one. I clicked on masters of trivia link thinking it would take me to the homepage and it dit not. I had to click on it three times until it finally took me back to the homepage. Your site really needs to work on how fast the pages load, i find that they are a bit slow. On the homepage you have three areas for sign. You have a sign up tab at the top, bottom and have a box dedicated for just they. To me that looks like your desparate for people to actually sign up instead of just playing the quizes. As I stated before you really need to hightlight the benefits of signing up versus not doing so. I actually enjoy taking quizes but I would certainally like to see some changes to your site. I see that you have a players standings section, that should be defintly be highlighted, people enjoy a little friendly competition. You might want to put your top 5 people of the home page somewhere. Great site it just needs to be revamped.

  9. Please play any game on the site and share your experience, whether positive or negative.

The site is extremely slow. I wasn’t able to finish any of the quizzes. Whenever I clicked on the “next question” button, the site would just sit there and the timer would run out. I do not know what the cause of that could be. I tried the Ice Cube quiz. I wasn’t able to finish it. I had to leave the site for a few minutes and then try again. I came back to the site and tried the quiz again, it wouldn’t let me take it.
How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?

Considering the speed of the site, the user interface is okay. It could use some improvements. This is probably due to the limited number of quizzes. I like that the quizzes on the main page are made to stand out. They are bold and they have a picture to it. I also like that the site lets you know what trivia you have already taken by changing the button to red.

When we get to the categories, however we switch from the main page format to some links that are very small in lettering. It is okay for a person like me but for some other people, it might prove to be difficult to read. It would be good to make the letters larger.

I do find myself somehow confused by the categories. One instance is I clicked on the categories for horror movies and the next page showed links for Jaws, horror movies, roy scheider and other links in a random order. This could definitely confuse some users

Another thing I would like is a feature where you can change your password. Passwords are not one of my strongest areas and I can only remember a password that I make up as opposed to the system generated password. It would be really frustrating to have to have the site email a password everytime I want to use the site. The look of the site is okay, it is not the best A different color scheme would work better for the site than blue and white. I’m thinking more along the lines of blue and black to start with.

Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?

Yes, I would. I do like this site, and I like the idea of earning points that you can redeem for rewards. I like that you earn based on how much you get right. I was actually looking for a site like this for a while. The site as it is is definitely a work in progress, and I am confident that when it is finished, it will do great. You will succeed.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

I definitely love the name of masters of trivia. The only thing that I must stress is the appearance of this site. This is a fun site and it needs a fun look. The white on it makes it look like a research site or some kind of encyclopedia (not that I have a problem with encyclopedias) For more of an idea as to how this site could look, you could check out some of the other sites that have games. Take notes of their color schemes and designs and patterns that they have.

The loading time could just be my computer, but then again, a lot of the other sites are loading pretty fine. I really like the intention of this site. You have great potential with this site.

  10. Please play any game on the site and share your experience, whether positive or negative.
I opted to play the basketball trivia game.  I definitely felt the questions were reasonable, something that a basketball fanatic would know.  I was educated during the process which is a positive.  If I were a much younger person the trivia game may not appeal to me.  There weren’t any questions that refer to modern day basketball.
How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?
The homepage is very plain.  If I were to go there not knowing it were a gaming site, I would think that it was an information site.  The stars next to the categories are a little cheesy.  The name of the website is too small.  The page has a lot on it.  The social network tabs can be combined and placed as links on a seperate page.  I feel the homepage should be all about the game and attracting “trivia buffs.”
Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?
I would play a “Daily Trivia” game however the questions would definitely have to be about current events to keep it original and interesting.  12-15 questions seems kind of long.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
I appreciate some of the unconventional topics that you have listed; for example:  law, humanities, charity, health and environment.  If you are able to keep the questions fresh, a person who loves trivia will be very entertained.  I could see something like this working for a party.  I suggest adding a little more “Pop Culture” for the youth.  They do control what becomes popular and what doesn’t.  I look forward to doing some more basketball trivia.

I played the Patrick Swayze trivia.  Very awesome!

    Definitly!!!

I really liked the wide range of topics to choose from.  I do not play the games online just trivia and I thought it was great!

  12. Please play any game on the site and share your experience, whether positive or negative.
I took the Dog Breed Quiz. It was an fun trivia, I enjoyed the questions and learned a couple of things which is definitely a positive. I like that at the end all of the questions were listed with the answers in green making it very easy to quickly see which questions I got right/wrong.

How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?
When taking the quiz I did wish that when answering the questions and pressing the next button the whole page did not have to reload with the new question. It would definitely benefit the site and the overall quiz taking experience to have only the quiz area refresh with the next question. Having to wait for the page to reload takes away from the flow of the quiz.

The overall look of the site is a little busy with too many links all over the place. I see the Home and Sign Up links are located with the links at the very top and then again on the links underneath the logo banner. Those link don’t really need to be listed twice in such a close vicinity of each other.

Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?
Not sure. I did enjoy the quiz that I took but not sure I would go to the site every single day. I would probably be more likely to visit once a week.

It seems like the Play & Win as well as the About Us links are the most important info pages with information explaining what the site is all about and the future plans for the site(such as rewarding members with gifts/prizes).

The Rules of MOT page seems like an excess link since it really doesn’t have all that much information listed on the page. I think the Rules could be listed on the sign up page before or beside the signup fields.

On the Games link the info listed there seems more like information that would be listed on the About page. It is basically explaining the different types of trivia and actually the info that is listed on the About Us page should be combined with the Games page and naming the link About MOT would seem much better. This would give the opportunity to cut down on some of the many links that seem to clutter the page.

I would recommend that The Masters of Trivia Blog link open up in a new window allowing users to keep the MOT site still open in case they go to the blog and then close that browser thus leaving your site.

In regard to the the Categories that are listed on the mainpage – the star icons with them are not very attractive looking and detract from the overall look of the site. The icon images pertaining to what the category is are way too small and the color used for the icons is not appealing. The image are too flat with no dimension to them which gives them a second rate look.

There are quite a few Trivia Quizes listed on the side column which seems excessive since there are already so many quizzes listed on the main column area already. I think the amount of quizzes displayed in the main column could actually benefit from being reduced.

On the home page I only see the Terms of Use listed on the very bottom of the side column. With all of the links that are listed on the top of the page, it seems like the Terms of Use should be listed up there. I don’t think that it should be  added to the current links but based on my other suggestions of combining and eliminating some of those links for decluttering purposes it would possibly give some space to add the Terms of Use.

I took the Law & Order quizz because i’m fanatic of the serie . the first thing that i noticed is the difficult level was a little higher so that’s an easy way to predict how will be the quizz , so when i took it i just laugh because i spected to answer every question correct but , surprise ! there’s always something to learn and it’s nice to see at the final , the anwers that gives you a time to laugh about some obvious answers and the way they tell to you to subscribe to know how much you scored is a nice way to achieve it because it causes curiosity into the user.
    so the experience was positive

How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?
I just think it would be better if the quizzes reloaded faster because is a little anonoying to wait for the next question
and it would be better if when you click the master of trivia’s logo doesen’t opens in a different page

Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?
I don’t think so even dough it haves some titles i’ll like to play it’s difficult to find them , so i’ll say one time a weekend would be ok

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
I think there are a lot of links , and if will be nice when the web page can provide the must taken quizzes in the fisrt page , and the must famous titles.

  14. Please play any game on the site and share your experience, whether positive or negative.  I played 4 quizzes: Jaws, Horror Movie, Star Trek, and William Shatner.  I tried to play one related to Zombies, but it either wouldn’t load or take me there.  The Jaws quiz was good.  Noticed a misspelling in question #19 (Broday vs. Brody).  In the William Shatner quiz, it jumped over questions #12 and 19.  I didn’t notice it until I was reading the “Correct Answer” page.  It was fun to play them all!
How do you like our user interface? Your interface is easy to navigate: its colorful; I like the “Related tags;” and the font is easy to read.  How could it be improved?  You might improve the transition time between questions.  Sometimes, it would slow down or pause.
Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?  Yes!
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.  I like that you have a Search option, especially for Trivia games.  On the Today’s/Top Player feature, it would be nice to know what Trivia the person played.  It’s great that one can contribute with their own Trivia.  However, I’m not sure how you “reward or penalize” those who submit.  Overall, I’ll be back to check your website out.  Always looking for good trivia sites.  Thank you!

I did the “Patrick Swayze Trivia Quiz” and the “Marilyn Monroe Trivia Quiz”.  The Patrick Swayze Trivia Quiz was on the homepage and easily spotted.  I found the Marilyn Monroe Trivia Quiz through using the “Search”.  Now I don’t know much about Patrick Swayze, but I do know a lot about Marilyn Monroe.  Once I did the quiz the correct answers appeared.  I noticed that one of the “correct answers” on the Marilyn Monroe quiz was wrong.  The question was “After a first marriage ended in divorce, who were Marilyn Monroe famous second and third husbands?”  The correct answer is Joe Dimaggio and Arthur Miller, but according to your site the correct answer is James Dougherty and Cary Grant which is false.

I think that you had a large amount of games and quiz to choose from which I think is good.  I am happy that at the end it gave the “correct answers” and not make you sign up in order to get the answers.  The “search” bar was very easy to use and understand.

The biggest problem that I have is that after doing the Marilyn Monroe quiz, I question if all the answers the sites gives are correct which can make people not want to use your site.  You have to make sure that ever correct answer you give, is the correct answer!!

How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?

Your homepage has a lot going on and it can be a little overwelming.  I really think you have to much on the homepage.

To start off, you have way to many links.  You have a link which says “Sign up” but yet you have a box at the top where you can sign up.  There is no need to have two places for the same thing.

You have links which are “Facebook” and “Twitter”.  You should use the Facebook and Twitter icons instead of links.  Icons are easier to spot and it gives you less links on your page.

On the right side of your page, there are things that are not needed.  You have a Logo box on the middle right side under “Create Trivia”.  I am not understanding what that is for.  The same link to the blog is at the top of the homepage.  That logo is not needed and it takes up room.

Also on the middle right side, you have “Popular Tags”.  Again, I am not sure why thats there.  I can find the same categories under “Categories”.  Again, it takes up space.

Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?

Yes I would, but it would be nice if the questions changed every now and then.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

Overall I think you are on the right track with the site.  There are a few things in which I think you should change that I stated above.

Again, make sure the answers are correct.

Get rid of some things on your homepage which will make it less crowded and overwelming.

Change the links to “Facebook” and Twitter” to icons which will make it easier to notice and you will have less links.

    Good Luck!!

I played the Anne Frank trivia game. I really like the trivia games you have to offer b/c even though i don’t know all the answers, it really educated me. Its fun, but you also learn important facts.
How do you like our user interface?
It is very easy to navigate throught the website. I like how it gives you different categories to choose from, depending on what suites you best. How could it be improved?
the site is a little busy. It could be cleaned an spaced out a little bit.

I choose The Anne Frank Trivia Quiz.  I found the overall experience to be positive.

How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?

I’m not a fan of the ‘sign-in/up or we won’t give you your score’ tactic.  This would definitely provoke me to leave the site after taking the test without creating an account.
You could use this to your advantage and add additional advertisements by allowing non-users to go through several pages of ads to obtain their score.  Make sure you have a ‘no thanks’ button clearly visible or you may get irritated users telling all their friends how much they dislike your website.  Have this option along with the sign up option would help you get the people like me who don’t like to sign up for accounts just to play a game.
One issue I noted was how the whole page would refresh each time you clicked next question.  This could create an issue for users with a slower connection, causing them to lose points because the ‘answer’ took too long to submit.

Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?

I would, certainly as long as the subject caught my attention.  I appreciate trivia in all forms, and what you can learn from it.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

You could add interest and a competitive spirit to your website by having a top scorer list and perhaps using that list to have a drawing for a weekly prize.  It doesn’t have to be anything big, a $5 gift card for coffee or a discount with one of your advertisers would be a good marketing plan!

I played the Patton movie Quiz

I found the fact that [So many has mentioned] The main cause my answers would sometime’s get ignored completely and I have a 50M/b connection. I found the site kind of sluggish when I was trying to reload the page each time for a question, a few times I had the questions answered at about the 30 second mark and it was still ticking down to about 4-6 seconds before it finally went to the next page.

The Quiz was quite well written, I have not really saw such a comprehensive quiz on that movie before – In fact I will most likely be checking for other’s cause I love trivia in general, especially surrounding history.

How do you like our user interface? How could it be improved?

It is a very nice user interface – I’m sure though I share other’s thoughts when I say that it could be better if you did SOMETHING to avoid them having to sign up. People hate signing up to sites like these because most are afraid of those “find out how you are like x character” sites that spam your email about 20-30 time’s a day. I find them being able to view ad’s that put cookies in their computer would be a better alternative or make them watch an audio ad instead. That way everyone win’s.
Would you play a “Daily Trivia” game consisting of 12-15 questions if the subject matter is of interest to you?

Actually, I do – It’s a very awesome site with a lot of trivia. I Went in here kind of skeptic since there is not to many trivia sites that have the things I enjoy, But on this one I like it – Especially the history part [as I said before :P]
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

Like I said, the only improvement really that’s needed is some kind of alternative to people having to sign up for the site and the Reloading of the quiz. But besides that a very well and throughout site – A pleasant surprise for me. I Will actually be messing around with it further in fact :P.
