Initial impression is smooth, minimalist web 3.0 style to the website which immediately draws my attention. I think the site is a way to track your moods, and place that within a social media context connecting with user profiles and the such.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
1. I feel the iPhone App link would be better suited to the top right of the page as is uniform with most websites that offer a service with an iPhone accompaniment. It could take the place of the ‘IPhone’ tab
2. The scroll with the various platforms the product is available should be minimized, and perhaps put somewhere else above. Considering the only clickable link is the iPhone app which will already have a prominent place on the top right hand of the screen as per my previous observation. Also, the FAQ states that an Android app is coming soon. instead of having the user dig through the FAQ to read this, it would entice excitement if you simply put ‘Android App Coming Soon!’ in the list of available platforms. Perhaps greyed out.
3. Information such as the current mood, and other interesting tidbits such as ‘<insert place name> is currently quite happy’ and ‘Males are generally more happy than females’ draw a user in immediately by invoking an emotional response. This should be the prominent display. The various arrows could lead to more interesting information your product has about the user demographic to lure in more potential consumers.
4. The Facebook and Google Plus links can go nearer the top of the page too. This would give the site a cleaner look, in my opinion as currently they are awkwardly placed with a lot of space around the links and between them.
5. In the FAQ, in the section to tell your friends about MoodPanda should include all the social links, instead of simply stating ‘tell them to visit moodpanda.com
6. The Features, How We’re Feeling, Mood Map are all excellently done. I like where they are placed too, because I am not overwhelmed when i first visit the site, and only scroll down further when my interest is already piqued .
3. What do you think of the sign up process?
Very simple. I like how it quickly loads a pop-up window. The Facebook login is very helpful, and the traditional login is fairly quick too. The Captcha used is user-friendly. Overall, a clean, fast and efficient signup process.
Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
I would and have.
Visit https://moodpanda.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
The site is about what mood are you in and using this information in a medium, in this case a mobile phone.
That’s all i can say at this point, after a few seconds spent there.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
What i found bothersome is the abstract nature of the concept, what do i do with my state of mood?
Do i write it for myself in a electronic journal , like a phone or a pc ? Do i share it with people from my messenger group or social networking site? Do i write it for myself to present in therapy? (that would be something very useful for patients, because of the ease of it, no need to write anything down, just select the mood)
The purpose is not well stated, the person who visits the site is overloaded with information while not being demonstrated the purpose beforehand.
What i liked about the site was the ease of it , just select your mood.
Another thing i liked is that it gives people an opportunity to understand themselves better , while helping others understand them, win-win.
I must also say the site is quite attractive and inviting, visually. The name is also good.
What do you think of the sign up process?
The sign-up process is pretty straight forward and easy, with an option of signing up using facebook.
Â
Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
If i was into the social networking scene i would, it can help provide support from friends when you are down, the can see that and help you , it can also give information from someone who thinks “i wonder if he/she is in the mood for going out or something”
I think it’s useful.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
Honestly I didn’t find anything wrong or bothersome with this website… it is friendly, easy to understand, the font size and colors are appealing and easy to see and read. The idea of tracking my mood is very interesting, especially at this rough time in my life.Â
What do you think of the sign up process? The sign up page is clear and to the point, anyone can do it. And of course the Facebook option is a good thing to have, people from FB will eventually start wondering what Mood Panda is!!!Â
What do you think of the sign up process?
I would sign up for this and will at a later time but I am so overwhelm with finding work and a home and 3 kids… I just have so many other things to think about.Â
