1) My initial impression of the homepage is that it is easy to navigate. I did, however, notice a few grammatical errors that need correcting.
2) I was able to find everything I looked for, and nothing about the site was confusing.
3)I am encouraged to create an account because I have family that live in different parts of the country, and this would be a great way to share stuff with them.
4) I prefer moonberri.com because it was the easiest to navigate out of the others I looked at.
5) My main complaint is about the grammatical errors on the homepage. Those need to be fixed in order to display a professional service to potential users. Overall, I like the usability of the site. Navigation is simple, and uploading content was a breeze.
6) The site is very user friendly. Navigating around is very simple.

8) I do like the concept of private sharing so that I’m sure that what I am sending to my friends, and family is going to be seen with their eyes only.
9) I would use this service.
10) I do like the design theme. It’s simple and lacks any nonimportant, overly obtuse items that might distract me from what I’m doing.
Using Mac OS 10.7.4 with Safari 6
Â
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
Your cloud (with the MP3 player, notepad, and other images floating around it is not centered.Â
Â
The red and grey sort of go together at first, but after a while it becomes difficult to look at–the red being too bold against the grey.
Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
Not certain what I should look for. Everything seems right there–your FAQ, Terms and Conditions, Sign In/Sign Up, your Social Media connections… all on one page. Of course, if I were to have several files on content on there, how are they sorted.
Â
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Not really–not because of any flaw in your product (other than the FAQ being empty and not knowing what update or storage limits I would have). It is mostly because I already have several programs that I use.
Â
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
Â
There are hundreds of these sites. At the moment, yours doesn’t really stand out from them (Dropbox, Minus, and a handful of others–some of them I have tested on startuplift).
Â
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Your FAQ is blank. Your Terms and Conditions as a PDF is a bit of an annoyance as well.
How much space do you offer, and how large of a file can I upload? Understandable as your are in Beta.
Â
6)Is it user friendly?
It really isn’t different from any of the other programs that are there. Click and drop would be nice (something similar to Minus upload’s model).
Â
7)Do you feel the need for such a service?
These are very useful services, especially as the world becomes more and more wired online.
Â
8)Do you like the concept of Private sharing with family and close friends?
It really isn’t something that is lacking on other sites.Â
Â
9)Would you use this service?
Not really… I already have several cloud and file sharing programs that I use.
Â
10) Do you like the design theme?
Â
As noted, the grey and red sort of get tiring on the eyes after a while.
Â
The bowling ball apple thingy (I guess your moon berry) on your upload/storage page is neat.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
Simple, stylish, clear about the site’s intention. Great to see something I don’t have to sign up for ! However then I saw the Sign Up / Sign In buttons at the top of the page which confused me somewhat. Do I need to create an account or not ?
Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I looked at the FAQs page but there wasn’t anything much on it. The bottom menu provided most of the things I would want to investigage such as About, Ts & Cs etc.
Â
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I was thinking about signing up but then read the blog entries mentioning some of the issues that have been occuring since the launch. This made me think twice and decided to wait until the initial problems are ironed out before signing up.
Â
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
Looked at Dropbox by comparison. Their initial intro video is a good way to explain their service. I also like their categorised help centre / FAQs. A clear outline of the different pricing is useful. The tour is also helpful in providing a comprehensive coverage of what Dropbox has to offer.
Â
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Further information would be helpful to guide users and assist their use of the service.
Â
6)Is it user friendly?
Usability is okay. The homepage is fairly sparse so not much can go wrong. It would be good to see more content on the FAQs page. I could see where to create a new folder but then I couldn’t work out how to upload my content until I clicked on the Upload button twice which then took me to my files. Perhaps a step by step guide about how the process works would help for initial use.Â
Â
7)Do you feel the need for such a service?
Definitely. In these days of multiple files, and content it is much easier to store things in the cloud indedpendent of whichever device I’m using to access the files.
Â
8)Do you like the concept of Private sharing with family and close friends?
I’m not sure that I would be sharing a lot of the content with family and friends. I would be using the service more as my own file storage space. However I might decide to share some of the images although I would probably do that via a more visual tool such as some of the photosharing sites that allow you to create an album and then share the URL with friends.
Â
9)Would you use this service?
Probably not as I’m already using Dropbox.
Â
10) Do you like the design theme?
Yes I do like the simplicity of the site and the clarity it provides.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
I like the red and gray color combination and how the home page is all “above the scroll†(except for the navigation bar, which is on the bottom).
This looks like a home-made site, which might be the effect you are going for since it is for sharing with friends and family.
If it were my site, I would do a few things a little differently. Instead of having the drawing, I would have the cloud surrounded by photos of people sharing the different documents, photos, etc. There would be people smiling . . . happy. It would be physically centered since the appearance of the home page is currently out of balance.
And I would bring “and close friends†onto the line above.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
On my screen, the only part of the home page that is below the scroll is the navigation bar.
There are no FAQs listed on that page, so there are no instructions for using the site.
It says there is no need to sign up. If someone doesn’t sign up, how do they share things with just their friends and family?
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Not really. There are other sites that provide opportunities for sharing that provide more features and benefits, including Google Docs, now Google Drive.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
Google Drive enables the sharing of any kind of file, including videos. The creation of many types of files. And the sharing of each file/folder with a unique group of people. Does yours? I cannot tell.
With Google Drive the first 5 GB is free. There is a fee of $2.49/month for 25 GBs with varying storage space up to 16 TB for $799.99/month. What is your capacity and cost?
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
You do not provide enough information for me to know. I signed up, so I could see what I might be missing. The profile is very simple. There does not appear to be a way of uploading files within an account.
6) Is it user friendly?
It could be if there were more information.
7) Do you feel the need for such a service?
Yes. And you know what would be really great, although it would be a whole lot more work: an aggregate site. Most of us belong to several sites. Some of this information we might want to share with family and friends. There may be other information that we want to share just with a few people or all our friends. If you could pull from Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, etc. so all the information were in one place, that would be awesome.
Filing sharing where multiple people could write on the same file would be helpful. For instance, someone is having a potluck. Each person could enter what he/she is bringing. This is currently available on Google Drive and other sites.
8) Do you like the concept of Private sharing with family and close friends?
Yes.
9) Would you use this service?
At this time, I do not have a need for it and someday I might . . . if you add features that makes your site unique and better than what already exists.
10) Do you like the design theme?
I like the basic look. My comments about how I would change the graphic is stated above.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
My first impression of the page is that site is design is very simple. I enjoy this simple layout because I can easily see where I am going and I can find links easier. Also, I did not know what the site was about until I scrolled down. The words describing the site may serve better being higher.
Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I tried to find the FAQ section and I found it quickly at the bottom of the page but there was no information in it. I also looked for the social media links and found them but I had to scroll down to find them. I think maybe the social media site links should be on the top bar instead of the bottom for easier access.
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I do not feel inclined to sign up with the company because they did not really give me a good reason why I should. Sharing my files, pictures and docs  with family and friends is pretty easy to do without going through a specific website to do it.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I found another company that does the same thing but they had more information about their services. On this site’s home page I found a reasons to do business with them. They told me that their service was quick, reliable and simple and a host of other reasons. On the other hand Moonberri did not offer reasons why I should use their service. The other site said I could use their service from any web device but I did not see this mentioned on Moonberri. The other site was too crowded. It did have a lot of useful information but it went on and on and after a while I did not want to read anymore information. Moonberri’s site was simple so this works better for me. Also the other site’s website design was not appealing while Moonberri’s site was more hip and youthful. If I had to choose a website I would pick the other site at the moment. They had better content and information which suited my needs. However if Moonberri updated their content I would go there because it is visually appealing and fresh.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I did like the cloud’s position on the website kind of off the center. I thought it made the site look a bit more abstract.Â
6)Is it user friendly?
I believe the site was very user friendly. I found everything without struggle and quickly. The site looks like I could use it easily with a computer, smartphone or ipad.
7)Do you feel the need for such a service?
I do not really feel a need for this but there are several people I know who could find a site like this useful.
8)Do you like the concept of Private sharing with family and close friends?
The concept of private sharing with family and close friends is one that is relevant because people have people all over the world and this is a great way to privately share files.Â
9)Would you use this service?
I would probably not use this service at the moment because I do not share a lot of files with people.Â
10) Do you like the design theme?
I do like the design theme. I thought it was simple and too the point. I thought the design theme conveyed youthfulness and friendly. I did not really get a feeling of professionalism.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
I thought it was playful and imaginative leading me to believe that it was a creative way to share files and pictures with family and friends. Although many sites are available to do this I appreciated its playful approach and that it also included files to share, just in case I want a song I like heard by my friends or something.Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I thought that the FAQ and the Contact Us buttons were inadequate because there may be a question or something I’m searching for that is not too common? Perhaps there should be a Search engine on the site as well. Overall it was not confusing I just think it would be a helpful addition. Â
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I actually thought that the simplistic approach, giving us just enough information but not everything build up the anticipation better than the “Sign up” button and I was keened to sign up just based on curiosity. The site was very cute. Â
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I found another site which offered the same services but it just wasn’t as CUTE! I know I said that before and it may seem like a mundane thing but it isn’t as it’s something that can definitely attract people to be proud to share their pages. To talk about it. One thing I did find interesting though from the other site was testimonials from users, that could be useful?Â
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I was wondering if there’s a way to meet people who share similar interest with you, making friends can be attractive to some.Â
6)Is it user friendly?
Very user friendly, it was a breeze to be on this site. Â
7)Do you feel the need for such a service?
I do because what I use is Facebook and there really isn’t much room for creativity in that site. Â
8)Do you like the concept of Private sharing with family and close friends?
I do like the concept of sharing only with friends and family but it shouldn’t be a rule, what if you don’t have many friends?Â
9)Would you use this service?
I would use it.Â
10) Do you like the design theme?
The design theme was very attractive to me, the colors were vibrant and full of energy which made me think that this would be a great place to visit. Cute stuff.Â
