About MySchoolHelp:

MySchoolHelp.com is a really practical resource, and the kind that one could easily envision students from all over the country using on a regular basis. You see, on this site high school students are encouraged to share their class notes with those who could use them. That can be anybody from students who had to miss some classes because they were ill and students they have to work on an assignment with, to the kind of students that sit at the back of the class and who do anything but pay attention to what the teacher is saying.

  1. What do you think of the design?

Design is pretty good as a social media. Facebook color composition and every neat.

    Any copywriting you would change?

Not sure what you meant copywriting here.

What do you think of the sign up process?

Signup is  invasive for some part .

I would suggest to have something like a HOW TO/ HOW IT WORKS video tutorial or some content and images to expect something before someone signups. The user isn’t expected to signup if there’s clarity in those goals/objectives.
e.g. if i want to rate some notes, what do i expect? No information tells me. The same goes with managed documents and rewards. If this is something similar to document sharing then at least show it in that video tutorial/content images. Signup process is invasive for notes i rated, managed documents, rewards. I would rather encourage signup process if you entice users after receiving notes comign from shared document or coming from rates. Thus, you left no choice for the user just to sign up to read those comments.

e.g.  comign from your email after someone has shared you some docments
You have (2) notes shared by XYZ.
You have (1) note shared by ABC.
You are rate (5) stars by NJY.

  2. Thanks so much for your feedback. I was wondering what you mean about the sign up process being too invasive? Could you elaborate on that? Thank you!

  3. Any copywriting you would change?Any copywriting you would change?

The design is not kind of impressive. It lacks the links and the looks that will lead a student to an interestingly and a friendly-user searches.

    Any copywriting you would change?

    Difinitely you have to.

What do you think of the sign up process?

Actually,  the issue begins here. There must be an instructive text other than example.

What do you think of the sign up process?

The issue is the same as the above.

You may add feature or highlight how to use it. A simple one yet will entice someone to sign up and enjoy the link searches to go a deeper look what really is they are seeking after.
