What do you think of the user interface? It was very easy to download and start up by simply allowing my current location t be found. It instantly downloads the vouchers that are available in my area.   However, once I clicked on the (circle) and the Options box appeared, I was kind of stuck. It took me awhile to figure out that I had to close the box by clicking on the (X).
Is it clear how to redeem a voucher? Yes, by clicking on the deal, it then brings up my voucher, to which I just click “Get Deal”. I can then just show the Voucher code to the retailer. Also, I can click on Instructions for it to show me the same information.
Â
Is it clear how to change view to see offers on a map? No, actually I discovered that part on my own when I clicked on the (Red Circle in the upper Left corner).   Then it brings up my options of List or a Map.  When I click on Map, I still was stuck with the box open until I figured out how to close it, by clicking on the X.
Â
Is it clear how to change category? Yes. in the red box, by clicking on Categories, I am able to change my options of the search results.
Â
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have. The only thing I can think of is that I would have liked clear instructions as to how to open the Option Box. I had to click around the app to figure it all out.
Â
Also, when I opened the map, clicked out the (Red X) pinpointed my area, and touched my area, it directly closed the app and took me back out. I was not able to get into my area. I am assuming this is because it is marketed for the UK???
Â
Overall, it is a great app. I would be more than happy to use it and recommend if it were targeted for my area.  Again, is a user friendly app, but just seems to need some tweaking in the areas I have mentioned.

Done.
What do you think of the user interface?
I find the user interface pretty attractive. The color scheme and the button layout are all in line with the popular method of designing apple apps. The symbols and buttons are all similar to the Native GUI for apple (ie. system preferences gear) so this is all very familiar to me. To anybody versed in usage of iphones and who has downloaded more than a few iphone applications, I think that your UI is more than easy enough to understand.
Is it clear how to redeem a voucher?
Yes, this is pretty obvious. Once I found the store of interest with an ongoing deal, I simply clicked on the voucher and pressed the blue ‘get deal button’. I don’t think you can design it to be any simpler than this other than automating the get-deal button functionality into the map when you click the arrow link to open up the ‘deal explanation window’. In essence, it is very clear how to redeem the voucher and I’d leave it how it is.
Is it clear how to change view to see offers on a map?
This was pretty clear after I tinkered around with the buttons. I figure most tech-savvy users will able to figure the map views and how to get in and out of the menus with ease— however, for older folks and less tech-savvy people, they may be confused on how to toggle the options. However, the sheer limited number of options makes it pretty simple to figure out how to toggle the map around after a minute or two.
Is it clear how to change category?
Yes, likewise, it is simple to change the category for me. I found the entire application to be pretty straight-forward and simple to use. Perhaps that is because I am a core iphone user, and have had every iphone since the first iteration. I also use applications like Yelp, Foursquare, and other geo-mapping services on a regular basis, so your application made perfect sense to me.

Overall, this was a very simple and well designed application. As someone who works in application development and marketing, I found your application both visually attractive and technically easy to maneuver around. Perhaps your next step should be to integrate social networking functionality and geo-mapping of friends (where they have been or are currently shopping). This type of inter-connectivity is what will really push users to continue to use your app or not.

All set – easy to find!
What do you think of the user interface?
Great. I love that you have a consistent visual brand. Your colors, fonts, and logo are consistent throughout. Believe it or not, this is a major problem for many companies, websites, and apps.  Usability is good, as well. It’s easy and clear – both of which are crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction AND retention. I was a little unclear of what of the search function was for specifically. I questioned whether I should be entering a category, or a specific business. I did type in “foodâ€, and no results came back. As a consumer, I’d like to narrow down my search by category in the search toolbar if I don’t have a specific place in mind – you may consider adding this feature. Â
I did note the ability to turn off and on certain categories in the options menu after playing around for a bit. This was not as obvious, and sort of a pain if I just want to do a quick food search, without having to uncheck all boxes, then re-check them afterwards.
Is it clear how to redeem a voucher?
Yes, it’s clear. You simple click on the deal, and select “Get Dealâ€. I LOVE that I don’t have to print anything. For other deal sites I’ve used I am often panicked about forgetting to print, or bring, before I redeem. Thank you for this easy solution! Perhaps, though, you should add in an “e-mail this voucher†feature, for those people who still love to print (whoever they are…!!).
Is it clear how to change view to see offers on a map?
It’s clear once I found the options menu. I wasn’t necessarily inclined to search for that without being prompted (by this question). I do like this feature, though. I’ve not seen other companies do this. Especially when I travel, if I want to see how close a deal is to my hotel, say, I have to use Google Maps, which becomes SO tiresome!
Is it clear how to change category?
I referenced this above, although I’ll speak to it a bit more. Again, once prompted to look for it, it’s clear. I wouldn’t necessarily just search for that. Always assume users will use as much of the app as they can see on a single screen. Some will search for additional features and nuggets that improve their user experience, but most will take it as is. As I said before, perhaps you should add a categories search function into your search toolbar.

I think this is a good app. I’m a big fan of group buying and discount apps/sites, such as Groupon, LivingSocial, and the like. I don’t really use their mobile apps, as the e-mail I receive each morning is sufficient AND because I know I have to print the deal if I do decide to purchase it. This app, however, is causing me to be more environmentally friendly, which I like. HOWEVER, despite my love for green apps, I don’t know that I’d remember to check your app everyday, or as often as I do some of these other sites, without a daily reminder. Perhaps you can let people sign up for a text message reminder, e-mail reminder, or simple push notification. I’m not sure how frequently the deals are updated, or whether there are time restrictions on buying time – but I’d consider this to increase user frequency.Â
Overall, I think you’ve done a really nice job to create an app that looks and functions professionally. Some of the features I’ve suggested would be nice, but, even without those, it’s still easy and fun to use. In terms of next steps, I may suggest that you allow people to connect through social media, e-mail, or even a corresponding website. I understand the point is that you don’t have to print the apps, but, you certainly don’t want to restrict yourself to only those who own iPhones, iPads, or iPod Touches!Â
Thanks for letting us demo, and good luck!

What do you think of the user interface?
The user interface is great. It is well written and organized. The colors and visual effects has a positive feedbacck on the site overall.
Is it clear how to redeem a voucher?
Yes it is clear how to redeem a voucher. All you have to do is click on deals and click on the specific coupon code that you would like.
Is it clear how to change view to see offers on a map?
Yes it is very clear once I found out to find the map section. I clicked on local and the map eventually came up. It would be a very good feature to have if you are always traveling. Â
Is it clear how to change category?
It isn’t so clear to change the category you actually have to look for it to see how to change a category. Once you find it, then it is actually clear on how to change to different categories.

Overall I think this is a very good website. It has alot of offers that you could benefit from. If they made certain aspects easier to find and spot then everything would be great as an overall.
