Nyabag appears to be an online reminder service.

I would need an example of a competitor.

At first glance, I don’t see why I would use your service over just using Outlook or my personal cell device.

What makes your web service better than other more convenient methods already available?

Nyabag is a planning and organizing site that provides alerts and reminders .

What do you think of the sign up process?

Sign up was easy. Provide email address, provide password. An email is sent to you with a link to activate your account. Click and sign in using your email address and password you provided.

What are the features you like most and least?

Uppers: Easy and straight forward to use. Options on if, when and how often you want to be reminded nice (specially for us who are overly forgetful).

Downers: Rather plan looking (a sea of white) until you add a few events. Blue fonts on white background hard on eyes (make it a bit darker blue). Need to have the Tasks/Lists etc. Menus on top of page as well as bottom. No interconnectivity with other programs. Having a calendar ‘icon’ beside the ‘due date’ always saying ’31’ Would be nice if it was current date and changed to ‘selected due date’ instead of remaining on ’31’. Or, just have a ‘Cal’ there with no number.

Would you like to sign up for a free account? If not, why?

I signed up for an account to explore it. I do not think I will keep the account, as it does nothing that iCal or Outlook doesn’t already do.

How do you think the site compares to other similar apps?

As said, it doesn’t do anything that other programs such as Outlook or iCal don’t already do. There does not seem to be any options to integrate it with other other programs or apps.Currently limited to India for mobile alerts.

All in all, not a very creative or inventive site. Not much there worth signing up for.

At first glance it is easy to see that this is an online calendar and reminder service.

What do you think of the sign up process
The signup process is pretty straight forward.  I personally don’t like having to switch to my email to confirm membership.

What are the features you like most and least?
Likes:  I like the ease of adding new tasks or events.  I like the personal diary portion.  With everything going high tech these days it is a nice feature.

Dislikes: It would be nice if there was a slot to enter a time for events.  I do not like the grey tones, they blend into the site and make it harder to read. Also I think the tab headings need to be all capitalized.  Or at least the first letter.
Would you like to sign up for a free account? If not, why?
Anykind of free sign up is good, especially something that will keep you organized but I think other applications offer more ways to personalize your calendar and notifications.
How do you think the site compares to other similar apps?
Other site offer more ways to customize your lists and calendars however I have not seen the diary portion which I liked.

Overall I think that this is just an okay site.  It would be great for someone that is just looking for something very simple and basic.  Where did the name nyabag come from though.  It is not something that I would search for if needing an online calendar and I believe would require a lot more marketing to get people to use the service.
