Visit our Website: http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?Â
The first thing I see when I go on your site, is the large Omni-Ag sign/logo. Then I see the trailer house to the left and the rotating images immediately below the tabs.
What do you find irritating?
I almost get a headache from the blurry picture behind the Omni-Ag logo. My eyes cannot adjust to the picture. I like the corn behind the Omni-Ag welcome information, but I really do not like the blurry green picture behind the Omni-Ag logo. It literally hurts my eyes.
What do you like about our site?
I understand from the get-go that you are about farm equipment, farming, spraying, etc. There is no confusion about that at all.
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
First, I would change the blurry background behind the logo, and have a crisp and in-focused picture of green farmland. Second, I would move your trailer on the left hand side of the page.  Although it may be what you are actually doing business out of, it doesn’t project to visitors that you are a premium service. You want to project to incoming visitors that you are the expert on what you do, and that you offer top-notch service. The building you operate out of is a non-issue, and you may be proud of your offices, I don’t think it adds value to your brand. If you sell sprayers or equipment, consider replacing the trailer with a piece of equipment spraying a field (and make sure the field is in focus).  There are a lot of great photos of farmland and fields out there that would build more brand credibility for you.
Third, if you are willing to match or beat other competitor’s prices, I think you should note this on your site as a selling point.
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
Well, if you want current customers to be able to log into your site and see how much money is in their account, or how much product they have coming to them, then you need to have a sign in for them.
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
I think you really want to point out who your competitor is. I did a google search for Nitro sprayers and wound up on this site: https://www.millerstn.com/ – which I think you work with as a distributor.
Now they have a top-notch site. Their photos display what they do and the equipment they do it on. I would recommend you consider putting up photos like Miller has on their site.
Please share any additional comments you might have.
Actionable suggestions: Another thing Miller has on their site is a trade-show listing of related trade shows. I think you could add this content to your site.
When I clicked on the Equipment tab, I was expecting more content. Not just a picture of a miller tractor and your contact info. This is displayed on your homepage. I don’t see the need for this tab, since it does not have any new info.
Site glitches/errors: On your service tab, the paragraph of white text runs into the larger text: We Feature “Nitro to Go!† I recommend you fix this html error ASAP, because it detracts from the credibility of your brand and quality of your website. Side note: I do like the pictures of equipment inside the hanger. You need more pics like this on your initial home page, and think it would also fit under your equipment tab.
More glitches/errors: In your “About Us†section, your description paragraph not only runs out of the gray box, but it also runs into your contact info. I would remove contact info from this page, and fix the gray box. I recommend fixing this ASAP.
Last observation: If you do something to fix your “calls-to-action†which is your website’s ability to turn a visitor into a paying customer, then the visitors will be actively looking for your contact info. They will be beating down your door if your services/products are that good. Your website needs to deliver, and proudly display that you offer the best of the best. If you get this down, you don’t need to have your contact info. on every page. It will suffice to have it only under your contact us page. I don’t think you need it at the bottom of every page. Perhaps you could also add a blog (that is updated on a regular basis) to discuss when your company does new things, when it offers new products or services, and how it is involved in the local community.
Legend:Â ASAP = As Soon As Possible
Â
Visit our Website:Â http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
The site look very confusing. The background of the site is a screams yellow-green field.. It is very anoying and disturbing – You have to change background!
The logo is pretty simple, but it looks nice and professional.
What do you find irritating?
Except the ugly background that I mentioned before, the picture behing the logo of the company is very unclear and confusing – it looks very blury and unclear, the coloros are awful and it disturbs my eyes very much.
what do you like about our site?
I like the fact that the site is very simple and small. It makes it very easy to navigate in the site. The main menu is down to the logo, and it is very easy to choose what do you want to look at.
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
Well, at first I would change the design of the site, because it looks very unattractive and unprofessional.
A professional site should look very simple, white etc.
I would change some pictures, and the coloros of the sites.
I think I would mention other companies and theirs high prices, and that will convince people to but your products.
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
Like I mentioned before, I think you should compare your low price with other companies that thier prices are very high, and put it on your site.
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
I never have been surfing in sites like this one, farm’s equipment…
But I searched for some site and I found this one – https://www.gardensalive.com/default.asp
I don’t understand a lot in garden and farm’s equipment. But, this site looks very professional. I admit, the design is not very beautiful and attractive, but – there is a list of prices in the front page! It seems to be very useful. Use it.

I don’t have any..

What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
-The time I opened the site, the first thing I notice is the big OMNI-AG Distributors Inc Logo, the next thing I notice is the Miller Nitro images changing every after 3 seconds or less. The navigation tools is not that noticeable, it needs some color or something else to stand out. The site just needs more polishing. It looks really promising to me.
Â
What do you find irritating?
-First of all, the upper background image, the blurry yellow thing behind the websites logo. Second is the Miller Nitro images that kept changing too fast. Lastly, the white space on the right side of the page. I gave me the impression that I will not be able to find much on this site.
Â
what do you like about our site?
-I like how natural the website is. These are the kind of site you don’t see daily. I like how direct the informations inside are. No need to read a lot just to get the idea it wants to give. And for observant viewers, I’m pretty sure they will also ask what the house on the upper left corner means. I like how the designer put meaning on the stuff or images he used.
Â
Â
What can we do to  better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
-Well, I believe it needs more professional advertisements. For example on TV or radio or posters around town (I don’t know if those already exist). Another thing is this website. The website needs to be polished, it needs more informations. It needs to show the products/services on the first click. I honestly think you should maximize the use of the page. Don’t rely on links since clicking a lot to get the informations you want is not a thing that everyone will do. Lastly, elaborate the goal of this website. Like for myself.I don’t know anything about farming and stuff and with all honesty, I didn’t understand most of the terms used.
Â
Â
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
-First of all. Re-arrange the website, I honestly know that the informations you put on the site are direct, but I think you should only use a single page or two for services/products/prices and stuff. Since our target audiences are farmers/ranchers. I think the color also needs to be changed into something lighter, brither or natural.
The content of the page is so little, should’ve put more informations regarding the product or services you have. In addition to that. There’s a lot of white space (Blank space on the right side of the page) You should put it in use. But overall. I can feel the agricultural emotion on the page. It just needs more polishing then it’ll be a good site for its target.
Â
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
-Your site is more like of a members only site. I mean, it is not the kind of site that is for everyone in my opinion. Be more direct with the informations and put it on a single page. When I checked on other sites regarding farming and stuff. Most of them have their products in front of you when you open their site. With the price included, then you will just click on the product or service to read the full information about it.
Â
Please share any additional comments you might have.
-I appreciate this page since it has some animation. But with the fact that the target audiences are farmers/ranchers I think the site needs to be simplier than this. I mean, if I am a farmer/rancher I won’t bother how the website looks or how good the animations are. I will look straight on the services and products and price if there’s any.
Â
Â
Thats all from me.
What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
My first thought was that the homepage took a little time to load. My second thought was that it looked quite professional, as though you had invested some time and money in your logo and graphics. My third thought was that I didn’t know this was about sprayer systems until I read, “…the implementation of your sprayer system.” I then went to the About Us page and saw that you “specialize in fertilizer and chemical application equipment.” To me, your logo, with a house in the background, doesn’t really communicate this. Maybe it would work better if it was a barn with a field of corn or something similar. At the least, I think you should include a brand slogan or tagline that makes it plain what your business is about. For instance, it might read, “Omni-Ag Distributors Inc.: Fertilizer and Chemical Application Equipment.” The idea is that you want visitors to instantly know what service your business provides.
Â
What do you find irritating?
Pages took too long to load, probably because of the rotating graphics. Also, while I wouldn’t say it irritated me at all, I noticed that your homepage tabs are ordered a little bit strangely. Usually the Contact Us tab is last instead of in the middle. That’s not a big deal, though. In addition, I thought it was odd that your Equipment page had a picture of an office. Shouldn’t it have been a picture of the equipment? And one more question: You keep repeating that you feature “‘Nitro To Go!'” Would most of your potential customers already know what that is? Because if not, you might want to make that a link to a page that explains it.
Â
what do you like about our site?
What I really like are the pages that appear when I click the “New Equipment” and “Used Equipment” links! These are the pages that really showcase your products! I feel like they’re almost a bit buried. If this is what you’re selling, then I want to jump right into that instead of digging around for it. One thing that confused me, though, was that the New Equipment page looked almost like a separate site for Miller, like a “site within a site.” Nevertheless, this was the page that looked the most professional and that really communicated what it is you sell. On the Used Equipment page, I was disappointed that I didn’t have the right Flash player to view your slide show, but I think a slide show feature is a great idea.
Â
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
This ties in with the last question. If I were you, I would move your Equipment tab farther to the left on the homepage (since people read left to right) and actually divide it into two new tabs: New Equipment and Used Equipment. That way, visitors can go directly to those pages without needing to click through extra steps. Also, I’m still not really sure if you just sell machinery or if you also install some kind of system on your customers’ property. Maybe it’s just not clear to me because I’m not in the agriculture business. However, I think if you do something other than distribute and service heavy machinery, you need to explain what on your Service page. And this, like Equipment, should have a homepage tab located further to the left.
Â
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
Good question, and I don’t know if I’m qualified to answer it since I’m not a farmer or rancher. However, I can imagine that I’d want to know more about your services. What kind of maintenance plan do you offer? Would I get any discounts as a long-term or repeat customer? Can you tell me more about your aerial applicators? What about GPS? How long would that take to install? How are your products going to benefit me as a potential customer? Do they offer increased durability, speed, flexibility, or what exactly?
Â
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
It would’ve been nice if you would’ve listed some of your competitors since I would assume the average reviewer here doesn’t know much about agribusiness. I did a Google search for “chemical and fertilizer equipment.” The first site I came up with was called Horvick. Although it wasn’t as flashy or visual as your site, I found that it was better at presenting details about its services. For instance, its Featured Products link, which was easily identifiable at the top of the homepage, took me to a page with more links to Hi-Tech Farming, Sprayers and More, and Sprayer Accessories. In turn, each of these links led to a page that detailed every product. In my mind, that was very well done. Lots of information available to the consumer. I think if you combined an approach like that with your more visually oriented look and feel, you’d have a winning website.
Â
Please share any additional comments you might have.
In conclusion, I think you have the makings of a good site, but, as I see it, your main problems are as follows:
Â
1. Pages take too long to load.
2. There’s not enough information about your various products and services and what exactly your company does for the customer.
What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
The site as a whole is pretty standard. nothing unusual, nothing impressive.
What do you find irritating?
there is no need for that initial Omni-Ag movement thing. It should open directly to the home page.
what do you like about our site?
The site is fine, it is directed towards the exact type of customer you would have, a specific market.
What can we do to  better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
THere are a few things that I think would be worth a change. Under contact us, there is the same phone and fax as on all the screens. I would change the headind from Contact us to Map and Directions. Also, folks that are going to your site must specifically want your type products, so I would showcase that first.
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
Most other sites show their products on the first screen, or at least their specials, sales, or a “what’s new” type thing.
Please share any additional comments you might have.
It is an interesting industry
. I don’t know how much competition on the web there is, but I would at least put your sale items up fron t to catch the eye.
1. Visit our Website: http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
The page with the grey box in front of a colorful field looks odd. Perhaps display the “welcome box†more translucent or a different shade or even as a box on the left. Then flash the pictures to the right in a separate box. Maybe show pics of customers farms with your installation.
2. What do you find irritating?
The black border at the bottom of the site and the flashing box of pictures that are the same 5 pictures on every page. The grey box with white text when the background is so colorful. The font and size of the address compared to the rest of the page.
3. What do you like about our site? It’s simple, not a lot of links and menu options.
4. What can we do to better showcase our products and services?
As a new visitor, I’d suggest the home page more clearly displays what benefits of your product or distributor than others. I also dislike the picture of the modular home. If the product is farm equipment and sprayers, why not display a farm?
5. What would you change?
See comments above as well. Based on the front page, I wasn’t sure what to do next as a new visitor.
What is Nitro to go?
Since you direct people to the Miller equipment site, maybe make your site more consistent in colors or font like theirs – still different, but consistent.
6. What can we do to better serve our customers (farmers, ranchers) via the site?
Maybe a section for existing customers to log in?
Some testimonals or pictures from existing customers.
7. How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
It definitely looks more like a small company site than a large corporation that puts more time in their website than their product or service. Seems like in your line of business, that is a good thing, but then when you get to the equipment section, since it takes you to the Miller site, it is not integrated or consistent.
Perhaps a pop up or disclaimer under “New Equipment†that says you will be taken to the manufacturer website.
Â
Â
Visit our Website: http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
The first thing I see is the green grass in the background of the site, and a tractor flashing in the bright red logo. Obviously this is geared towards selling to farmers.
What do you find irritating?
The waves in the grass on the site are distracting and almost mesmerizing, because if you look straight at them it feels like they are swaying side to side. Other than that, I find nothing irritating and like the contrast of different colors. It grabs your attention in a good way.
What do you like about our site?
I like that it is very simple, easy to navigate, and it’s not cluttered. I also appreciate that the contact information and the location are listed at the bottom of the page, so viewers do not have to search hard to find it.
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
On the equipment tab, I would have pictures of the different types of equipment that are used to provide your service. People like to know what to expect and the pictures would be a helpful addition. I also thought the wording on each tab was repetitive. Try rewording your descriptions and give further explanation into your company.
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
You can better serve your customers by inserting an “email us with questions” box. That way you would give another option of contact, instead of phone, fax, or coming into the office.
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
I am not really aware of other sites similar to yours, but I think its a good start from a small business. To size up better with your possible competitors, I suggest more content is added. You can have a registration link setup on the page and allow customers to view their accounts online. Many sites provide a login as a convenience for their customers and it can help you track them as well.
Please share any additional comments you might have.
I think the look of the site is very simple and that is good, but as previously stated, I believe more content needs to be added. You want customers to be able to access answers to simple questions, so you should also add a FAQs section to the site. As with any business, there are always questions. This can make your site more appealing to customers.
Visit our Website: http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site? I like the opening Omni-Ag logo. I think it captivates my attention.  After the logo, the screen automatically goes to the green cornfield landing page.
Â
What do you find irritating? I find the Miller Condor red ad that keeps displaying immediately under your tabs to be irritating to my eyes. It’s too overwhelming for my attention.
Also, the Miller Condor and the “Welcome to Omni Ag” displays need to be centered. They are presently left justified and it just makes the page seem a little off.
Â
what do you like about our site? I like the initial display of the Omni-Ag logo.  It’s very captivating. I like how the screen immediately changes into the landing page of the website. I like the cornfield background. I like the “Welcome to Omni Ag” box in the middle of the landing page.  I like how the font is easy to read and see.
Â
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change? I would suggest a video presentation of your new equipment. Maybe once you click on New Equipment, it could open onto the page, and then have an option for a video presentation as well. It seems to need more product market presentation.
I would also suggest you moving the Red Flashing Miller Condor ad to the bottom of the screen.
Â
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site? I would suggest you set up a forum type page for your customers to be able to ask questions that they are seeking answers to. Maybe so they can help each other as well as seek your assistance, even to ask questions on the products your offer.
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors? I am assuming your company is a small business. I compared it to larger company sites such as MFA, etc. Your website does not seem to have enough to offer the customer. It needs more information, a better presentation of your products and more options for the customer to use online.
Â
Please share any additional comments you might have. When I open up your equipment pages, I would suggest stretching them out instead of having the side bar scroll. It would make the site look bigger overall. Also on the Contact Page, I would like to see the “Click Here for Map and Directions” to be in a color other than the blue. It’s very hard on the eyes to see that contrast.   Again, I think the screen contents need to be centered instead of Left Justified, including your address and contact information at the bottom. I would also like to see the Red Flashing screen at the bottom of the page, if at all.    I would like to see a little more information added to the About Us screen to help personalize the visit.
Visit our Website: http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site? I like the background of the farm. It gives the site depth. The graphics that are scrolling are a bit large. In the filmstrip of the individual parts there are two pictures of white part against a white background making it difficult to see what the item is. The first picture is a steering wheel, but the third picture looks like some kind of commode. I like the red tractor and then the zoom to the logo. I don’t like it that the filmstrip pauses and disappears for a few seconds before beginning the cycle again. I think that having the logo twice on the page and the same font size looks unusual. I would prefer that the top logo be smaller and up in the right hand corner. The logo in the grey box is prominent enough and makes the top logo look unnecessary. I am also a little bothered that the grey box, filmstrip and contact information is not centered.
Â
What do you find irritating? I’m not sure that I would term it “irritatingâ€. But I’m not fond of the green color chosen to accent the tab words when you mouse over them. It doesn’t really accent the tabs in a good way. Although I do like that feature. I think that the background is beautiful and the grey black and white should be the only colors used for the words, tabs or logo. You have a great start. Let the red from the tractor photos be the dominant color, take out the greens from tabs.
Â
What do you like about our site? I like that your contact information is so large and white. You can’t miss it! I have seen recently and I really like it when websites put their 1-800 number in the top right hand corner of each page of their website. It seems to say to me that you really want me to contact you with questions.Â
Â
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
On your equipment page I wish do not like the picture of your office. It doesn’t evoke anything professional to me. As I look at it I am thinking, is this someone’s home? Why is this picture here? Did I click on the equipment tab? I like that the two tabs for used and new are so large. That is what made me realize I was on the right page. I would change the picture for a logo or your top selling machine. Again, I would make the tabs for used and new not change to that green color. I might even make them boxes- black, grey, or white. When I clicked on “New equipmentâ€, the words-“New equipment†at the top of the page became too large and came off the screen, so now it says- “New Equipmâ€Â  But, the equipment list is now centered. I think that the equipment list is most professional looking part of this site. The same issue with the words at the top of the page justifying too far right is on the “used equipm†page. I do like the slideshow option for the used equipment. I just realized that the building on your site is your office building. I would take that picture completely off of your site.  It is not impressive. Use pictures of the equipment and even pictures of your friendly staff. The internet is a tool to sell your product all over the nation. Don’t limit yourself to the Texas dynamic and demographic. What looks like success where you live, may not look as impressive to the national audience of consumers.
Â
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
I think if you gave them the option of signing up for an rss feed to their email for new products that you are featuring, new or used.Â
Â
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
I think that with a little more design toward the successful features of your business, this site could be comparable to the larger equipment providers.
Â
Please share any additional comments you might have.
I think that you have a great start. I want really think that your equipment needs to be the selling point of the site. I also would love to see a friendly face. Either the owner or the staff, a friendly farmer waving from one of the implements, something to humanize the site.
Â
Visit our Website: http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
First of all the site loaded fast which is good but the Omni-Ag logo seemed a bit too large, otherwise nothing unusual about the  looks
What do you find irritating?
The colors are a bit annoying and the miller-nitro flash banner it’s too large and in my opinion it would be better if it was displayed elsewhere like in the left or right side of the page, somehow doesn’t look very good there.
What do you like about our site?
It’s easy to navigate on, has all the menus that are needed for a professional website, the fonts are visible and that it is a simple but understable website
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
Many websites use visual marketing and I think that a video presentation of your services and equipment would be benefic. And what would I change? I would put the miller banner somewhere else on the right, left or bottom of the page.
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
First of all you should make a register box where people can register and put questions and can get online answers, beside that you can make exchange links with other similar companies or equipment producers and this way your chances of getting new clients will rise
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
Frankly I’m not a farmer and didn’t had to buy neither equipments or use similar services but I took a quick look at other similar websites and I assume because you are a smaller company you have to have a more detailed presentation, the content of the website must be more complex.
Please share any additional comments you might have.
I think that the concept of the site is good, the services and equipments that you provide are needed but the site needs to be more complex, with more information about products, price etc.

Visit our Website: http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
Overall I like that the logo is on the first page and that is all you see. The graphics on the home page are a little busy however it is a simple design which helps you easily find what you are looking for.
What do you find irritating?
I do not like how the tractor graphic comes in an out, also the squiligy lines in the background are distracting
what do you like about our site?
I like that the logo is the first thing you see, also the simple straighfoward design. It is easy to find what you are looking for.
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
Make a clearer list of exactly the things you offer on the home page. You have a few things listed but I think would recieve more interest if you had a broader list.
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
Have a zip code locater to see if your services will reach them or to see if you need to expand to reach more people.
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
I believe the simplistic design makes it more appealing. However you really need to have a broader list of services offered to potential customers.
Please share any additional comments you might have.
Overall I like the site and would definatley recommend it to anyone looking for the services you offer. Living in rural alabama I think a service like yours would definately benefit us.
Visit our Website: http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
The general look is attractive and feels direct with pertinent information displayed.
What do you find irritating?
Initially, the lines behind the logo are distracting to me, although the farm scene below seems great. I’m not fond of the photo of the outside of the office at the upper left or the inside photo in the middle of the page. These would be fine maybe in another section like about us or location, etc. I think you would be better served with showing examples of your work on the home page instead.
what do you like about our site?
The site seems easily navigated which is a big plus for me. I did appreciate having the contact information displayed on all the pages.
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
I would feel more comfortable with some tabs on the left with products and services. For someone coming to the site, they are interested in specifics of what you have to offer. This would serve you better than going to equipment tab and then selecting new or used and then navigating that page.
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
From an outside viewpoint it seems that you offer many ways to serve the customer. The new equipment page offers many ways for the customer to get info such as videos, display tours, facebook following, phone and fax info, articles. I especially liked the have a question link.
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
Without being an expert in the field, I tried to find similiar sites. I checked a couple of google links, both sites seemed comparable, however, I thought your site was more attractive and had better flow. The two sites I visited were both choppy and info was thrown all over, very distracting for me.
Please share any additional comments you might have.
Overall, I think you have a great site. I think you need more examples of your work more prominently displayed. Maybe more in depth details of your business on the home page to attract more initial attention. As I stated before, the photos of the office on the home page don’t seem appealing to me.
Visit our Website:Â http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
When i first visit ur site. It make me feel that this site look professional. It attracting me to read ur description, click on ur site menu. I look around saw ur title with the picture. It abit hard to understand what business u running. All i know and thought is about agriculture. U can make some more obvious sign about what ur business when we first visit ur site.U might add some video or slideshows about how ur service and how it works. But make sure the video is short. People doesn’t have patient in watching a long video. A video or slideshows can explain and give a clear thought of what ur business about and how ur business works. U can add ur product inside. Ur expert in fertilizer and chemical application equipment. This should be listed as ur subtitle. Ur site is simple which is good. People doesn’t like a complicated site which is hardly to understand whats ur site is about.
What do you find irritating?
The loading is abit slow. At ur Equipment categories, i chosen the new equipment. When i scroll down ur from there the menu is following. Which is irritating for me. Because it limit the content space and it’s abit annoying. It’s good to have it following so people can easily click the menu. But mayb the menu can be a little smaller so it doesn’t take much space and doesn’t feel annoying.
What do you like about our site?
Ur site is simple and it’s easy to find what we looking for because it oni have to click few options. The site make me feel secure to do business with the company because i feel it’s professional with ur site layout. It make me feel that this is a serious business. Other than that, ur site content is straight to the point. Thats what i like. I doesn’t have to click many clicks and look for something the site information. Its all showing up front when i first visit. If i wan further info i just have to click once or
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
Like i said in the above. u can add some video or slideshow about ur services and hw it works. U can add some more pictures to promote ur service in the home page. Make some promotion or list down what is the benefits of ur service in the home page. Its important for people to get a positive thought about ur service when they first visit. U can add some offer. Make some special offer. It could attract some people.
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
U can add some live chat if u have a customer service. People can direct ask question on the site without calling. It’s better. That can attract some more people. Some people may interest but they just shy or lazy to call. So with the live chat, people can directly ask question. u don’t have to have a person stay online at the site for 24/7. U can set the working time. Like from 6pm-12am. During working hrs people dont really have much time to check services available. U can add some personal feedback about ur service from ur customers or from the public. U can add a forum or a space for people to comment n u can respond to them if u want. this way can gain trust from ur customers. They know that u take this business seriously and they’re served well. Which is a good service.
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
To be honest, i dont really know any other agriculture site. But i have some research on it. I have viewed horvick and also alibaba site. It’s about agriculture. One thing which is negative about their site is that their site is complicated. They have to many option to click in their main page. It’s hard for me to find what i want. But urs is simple. I can easily what i can look for. The other thing is that their agriculture business is general. Which is that they provide lots of products about agriculture. It’s a good thing for people who want to buy products for their agriculture business. Ur site is concentrate in 1category which make people feel that u are professional in this only. This is a good thing because people will feel more secure on ur business. They have plenty of information on their site. This can give more info to people but also can make people feel it’s abit annoying. Ur site is abit lack of info. u might can add some more info but keep it simple. Straight to the point. Alibaba site can directly contact the available contractor if any visitor is interest on the product. Which is a good thing. U have the contact number. But people who call it is who really have interest in ur business. For people who were 50 50 on it they won’t really call it. because it’s abit inconvenient. If u add something like live chat which i suggested above, it’s very convenient for visitors to ask question about it.

Marketing ur service is important. So i might suggest u should focus more on marketing ur best service. Let visitors know what u really good at  and what u can offer in the main page when people browsed ur site. U should list down the service package u offer. The price and the delivery process. This can attract people interest and can easily let people decide weather do deal with u or others. This is important. The information can let people make decision. if u don’t have the information people might just leave ur site unconsidered because they don’t get enough information and they don’t want to make the call or email because other site is already provided with full information without taking extra steps like calling or emailing. U can make a newsletter. Ask user to enter email and u will email them more detailed or if u have any new services or offers. In this way, u can always communicate with ur customers.
Hope it helps.
Visit our Website: http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
The general look of the site quit earthy and and simple. You can definitely tell that your website deals in something agricultural. I like that your page is short and that you have a nice detailed paragraph as to what your company does. The waves of corn fields are visually distracting because they are not clear and it looks sort of hazy. You have your site name big and bold that always a good touch. It’s good that you have the tabs to click on right at eye level with a great color change addition. You also feature your contact information in an easy to see font. It’s not having to search for a way to contact a company.
What do you find irritating?
As I stated above I don’t like the hazy look of the corn fields in the back ground. When you click on the “about us” and the “contact us, ” tabs I don’t like how it looks like the “us” is falling off. When you click on either the new or used equipment it give you a split screen that is hard to look at. It’s really cuts the screen in half and make it hard to fully see the content on the screen. You have so much detailed information on the screen it’s sad that you can’t look at it all at once. I must say that I rather prefer the design and layout of those pages versus the rest of the site. It has a more sleek look to it. The other pages are nice but they are visually mundane compared to those equipment pages. On three of your pages you use the exact same lead in’s. At first glance each page looks like you really sought out good information to add but after reading, it was very disappointing.
what do you like about our site?
Easy navigation.
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
I think a little mini commercial showcasing some of your products in action would be very nice. You could even feature some people use the products and services give audio, visual or written testimonials.
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
You should have a page that allows people to e-mail questions. You should add a location tab so people can see where best to get your products and services.
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
Not being familiar with the industry I had to visit other sites to get a good comparison.
What other sites featured:
1. Pictures showcasing some of there work.
2. Some listed the chemicals they work with.
3. Put a little graph of there sales and had a tag line of “x” annual sales and growing.
4. Mission statement
5. Product breakdown list.
6. Other companies they are have partned with.
7. Printable brochure.
If you are a small company your site doesn’t have to look like one.

I would definitely look at the list I have provided above and see how it play up your company. The equipment pages looked like night and day compared to the rest of site.
I don’t care for the general look I think the house in the back is an eyesore and the background is blury.I find the house and the blury background very irritating and not apealing to the eye.I do like the high grass I think you should show more high grass that shot grass. It would look better with a tracker plowing the filds. You should sowcase as many of your products to the customers as you can, You can do better with your customers by letting them know what you have to offer, and the details about the products. Your site compare to other sites dose not give a enought info about the products you are selling. Let people know what you have and why the should purchase your products.
Visit our Website: http://www.omni-ag.com. What is your comment about the general look and feel of the site?
The animation with the logo is OK but the site itself is a bit confusing. Too many images competing with attention. Yet, the animated pictures do get it and it only serves to distract even more.
In general, it doesn’t look professional. but then, maybe in this market that’s the way it should look. I haven’t investigated what suits farmers.
What do you find irritating?
The repetitive animation of the picture, and the animation when you click a menu item. The page is not centered, the menu (specially the pictures when the mouse is over a menu item)
What do you like about our site?
The background picture and its vivid green and yellow colors.
What can we do to better showcase our products and services? What would you change?
I would change the whole site, its style and how it is organized. The header would include a showcase, programmed with javascript, to show different pictures, such as the farming house and the field, and others, with a small room to show the thumbnails.
I would also add a new section, a blog with news and annoucements and interesting articles with some buttons to share those articles with other people.
I would probably take an approach like this maybe: https://www.templatehelp.com/preset/pr_preview.php?i=32524&pr_code=IRjtdmQK33sQvz5J2pJQ6yDY7a7OSE
Although that I would use the shades of green and yellows of the background picture which look really good
What can we do to better serve our customers(farmers, ranchers) via the site?
Giving them videos to make the most of your products and teahcing them new tricks to use them better and get more profit of them,to fix them if necessary. News that may be of interest could be good. News and tips for that may be of interest (weather conditions, prices of commodities, new techniques of farming) will drive traffic to the site and help to sell too.
How does our site compare to similar sites/competitors?
I do confess that my knowledge about farming related products is low, and the sites related to them is not much better. I googled a bit and it seems that most of them go for the same type of look. That makes me think that if you get it to look really professional, you may wow your customers and/or future customers.

I think that the social part is important. The HTML (or XHTML) behind should be something to look after. It should be more SEO friendly. Javascript should be out of the page and the text should be readable for search engines also.
