I like the colors and the look of the site. A lot of time and thought went into the design/layout. One tiny suggestion: if the header were a little more compact vertically, than you might be able to fit the entire video “above the fold.”
I appreciate the logo. However, I’m not certain about the name. “Hire,” yes. But “Jungle”? Why jungle?
My one question is: will someone understand what this site does within the first 6 seconds? I hear that is average amount of time visitors spend before deciding to move on. I know there is a video, but will they stop and view the video? The reason I understood what your site does is because I was on a similar US site a couple of days ago. However, if this is the first such site in the UK, it might be best to provide a little more clarity as soon as some sees the page.

Given my personal interest in house sharing at this time, that was the first thing I looked for. In the US people rent rooms or apartments (in-law suites) in other people’s apartments or homes. They can do this on a long-term basis or instead of staying at a hotel/motel (i.e. airbnb.com). Does that exist in the UK? I’ve heard that couch surfing is a world-wide phenomenon. In any case, I looked under “Home and Garden,” “Property & Shipping,” and “Miscellaneous, and did not see anything.

Obviously, this is for people within the UK, so it wouldn’t be advantageous for me to have an account. If I were in the UK and there were a “Services” category suitable for what I want to hire, then, I might. I’m a career coach and this could be a place to market my services. This could come under “Personal services” “Business Services” or “Career Services,” but does not fit under any of the categories you have.
I might be interested in joining if I were looking for other products, but I am not at this time. So maybe in the future. That might be a key: People might only join when they went to hire.

I went back to the site I was on a couple of days ago. It’s called uniiverse.com. If you visit it, you will notice a category for “Space sharing.”
However, your site is much more professional looking and more inviting.

One thing that I find bothersome. Evidently, your business model includes advertising. Because every classified ad page has regular ads at the top. GoToMeeting.com is on every page. These ads are so big, that I have to scroll down to see the classifieds that I’m interested in. I understand wanting advertisers and couldn’t these be smaller and maybe on a right sidebar, so what I want to see is front and center?

When I look at the Hire Jungle website, I see that it’s a place where you can sign up and hire someone for various deeds such as entertainment and events, travel, car hire, etc. From what I can see, the website seems to be gaining some popularity on Facebook. I also see a tutorial video explaining how their website works.

I clicked under the furniture tab on the homepage. Then, I clicked massage furniture and clicked on the electronic massaging chairs tab. Fortunately, everything was simple, easy and to the point. However, there were no results found for electronic massage chairs. I can only assume that no one listed anything under this category.

Hire Jungle. com seems like a promising website that offers very legitimate services. However, I am not encouraged to sign up for a free trial or subscription to this website because I do not think I need hiring services. But, if someone I knew was looking for hiring services online, I would refer them to this website.

The other site I chose was Zilok. com. It’s very similar to Hire Jungle in which it offer rentals ranging in Auto to electronics and vacation. Zilok and Hire Jungle both seem to be very professional and legit. However, I’d choose Zilok over Hire Jungle because the site seems to cater more to a US audience. Hire Jungle caters more to a UK audience, which is fine. But, I’d rather pick a site that’s in my native country.

I really enjoyed reviewing Hire Jungle. I wish the owner for this site the best of luck in finding more potential customers and users.
1) When looking at the homepage I found it to be very interesting. The subjects and categories were very simple on the flow chart page to be able to find any category that a person would need. The fact that there is no charge to join or pay any type of fees to use the service is always a plus with me. I felt the layout and colors on the page were very inviting and not boring as some can be. The video of what they offer I feel would appeal to my age group because of the “Welcome to the Jungle” background music. Nothing boring, I was very entertained while watching it just by the music alone. The service of cars for hire was very appealing to me and is a service I haven’t really noticed on any other job hire sites.
2) I work from home part time and have sought out other jobs over the past few years to do. Therefore, this is what I tried to look for on Hire Jungle. The way to move through the categories was very simple. The information was thorough for each company that I was interested in looking at and I was very impressed with the way that the categories are all grouped together in similarities. This makes it very easy to pick a subject and have many to look at instantly rather than having to go back to the search engine when finished reviewing a company each and every time.
3) I would be inclined to sign up for a free trial because after all it is free and there would be no charge just to try it. I, however am not a UK citizen.
4) A similar site is Monster.com. I feel that the services are so similar, free sign up, using both through Facebook, email alerts, but I did feel that the page set up and the ad itself was much more modern and catchy with Hire Jungle. I feel this layout would appeal to a younger crowd. Monster.com is very basic, bland and boring. Also, again I was impressed that Hire Jungle has a site to hire car services and I really haven’t noticed that before so products are offered as well as job offerings.
5) Overall, I feel that Hire Jungle had more to offer than Monster.com and many other product and job ad sites. It was very catchy in the layout, not dull and boring and very colorful so it kept my interest the whole time. I felt it had a good variety in each category and that it was very easy to move from one area to another. One thing that I thought was also a good plus is that there was no fee to join or sign up.
