When you first enter the site it is colorful and simple. The first page has a basic synopsis of what the business offers. It reminds me of a toddler/Pre-K page with the dinosaur but catches the eye.
When you go to order a service the page that displays offers information and a brief persuasion to draw the student in. Downfall: Having a second link to actually begin the process of uploading the assignment.
The process of uploading your information ie: paper assignment, seems relatively simple (A Plus!). The only confusion that comes across is the “Speak your mind” portion. Is this for reviews of the services?
The colorful dinosaur is definitely playful but not necessarily targeting the professional. The site is basic and this is perfect for targeting students. If basic is what you are looking for then this site is just that.
1) Visit the Web site (www.papersaurus.com). Does the home page catch your attention? Does it seem inviting, and is it clear what service is offered and how you get started?
The first page is clear and coherently designed. I like the layout and writing. The logo “papersauraus” in the upper left is a little too dark. It’s hard to instantly understand what it’s holding at a quick glance because the logo is small, dark, and dense.
2) Go to the order page. Is the process for submitting a document clear and easy to understand? How could it be made smoother?
It appears to be clear. It would be even smoother if you could count the number of pages to charge for instead of having me divide it up. The “Get Started” section could use a video or inforgraphic explanation of the process.
3) Does the site feel professional enough to attract your business and that of others, while also feeling playful and “casual†enough to appeal to younger clients (i.e. college students)?
I thought it was playful and fun. It might be aiming a little too young. I’d like to see some testimonials from real clients or before/after samples to convince me to pay. You still have the WordPress login active on the bottom right, which you should turn off before you go public. I would play up your turn-around times since most students are working on tight deadlines and are looking for shortcuts. Like can your staff edit something overnight that they need to turn in the next morning? Turn-around time is a key concern when decided to buy your service. I also wanted to know more about who your editors were and what qualified them.
4) What kind of low-budget marketing and publicity strategies do you think could work for this site? (We are boot-strapping it.)
I would pursue ESL customers over 18. These potential clients know they need help with their English and are more likely to be in the habit of using a native speaking editor to help them. You’re other option is to try and go college by college during finals giving away a few pages of the service to have students try it out. Honestly folks with jobs are more likely to spend money with you than students (I think). Most colleges have writing help available I think but you’ll have to survey students to find out.Â

I liked the blog posts on writing but the “coming soon” blog posts were boring. Why isn’t there a newsletter signup for “more writing tips” so I can keep in touch if I’m not ready to submit a paper today.

The homepage for http://www.papersaurus.com is everything a homepage should be. It’s clean, simple, attractive, and straight to the point. The “Affordable and Practical Proofreading†headline lets me know exactly what the site has to offer and the big yellow “Submit Your Document†button makes it pretty clear how to get started. I love that I am not bombarded with information on the home page. This makes navigation a piece of cake. I think the logo and dinosaur mascot make the site seem more “fun†and definitely more inviting, especially for the college crowd that this site is appealing to.  http://www.papersaurus.com has done an excellent job with their homepage and it is sure to catch the attention of many students in need of writing and grammatical help.
2) Go to the order page. Is the process for submitting a document clear and easy to understand? How could it be made smoother?
The order page for submitting a document asks for just the right amount of information and nothing more. This makes the form relatively short and easy to fill out. I think everything is well organized. If I had to criticize, I think the only con is that visually this page is not as stylized as the homepage. I know there isn’t anything glamorous about typing in basic information, but keeping a common theme throughout the site’s pages can help bring the website together. Something as simple as another Papersarus mascot in the right, bottom-hand corner across from the “Submit†button could do the trick.  Also, I do not think any program before Microsoft Word 2007 support the Microsoft Word (.doc) documents. This can be very problematic for those who do not have an updated version. I do not know if it will work with http://www.papersaurus.com, but I find that just about any word processor will open rich text format (.rtf) documents. If http://www.papersaurus.com finds that they can indeed receive (.rtf) files, they may be able to help more clients and expand their business.
3) Does the site feel professional enough to attract your business and that of others, while also feeling playful and “casual†enough to appeal to younger clients (i.e. college students)?
http://www.papersaurus.com definitely knows how to effectively design and lay out a good-lookin’ website, and I think they’ll attract the demographic they are aiming towards. I myself am a recent graduate, and I find this site quite appealing upon first glance. I can also think of many friends who could benefit from and would be interested in Papersaurus’s services. There is no doubt that Papersaurus looks playful enough to attract clients. Come on, what’s not playful about a smart blue dinosaur?  The “fun†aspect of the website is nicely balanced with the “professional†side. That is, the site seems trustworthy enough for clients to be rest assured that their project is being completed in an accurate and timely matter.
4) What kind of low-budget marketing and publicity strategies do you think could work for this site? (We are boot-strapping it.)
Deals and sales are always a good way to promote your business. That being said, it can be difficult to finance any discounts. One way you could afford to this is to offer discounts on referrals. If a client likes the work Papersaurus has done for him, offer him 25% off his next project if he can find another client for you. This would involve keeping up with the people who have referred others and adjusting the order form to include a referral slot. The discounts given will not be a loss when you consider all the new clients you are gaining. Facebook and social networks are a great way for advertising, especially when so many college students use these sites. You may consider linking these networks to your site, which is something a lot of websites are doing these days. Â Another good way to promote http://www.papersaurus.com is to find forums or discussion boards where students are already asking for help on papers and other projects. By promoting the website in places like that, people are not being bothered by ads, but are given access to something that may actually help them. Thus, they are more likely checkout your website. When all else fails, putting up flyers in areas were college students tend to gather can do anything but hurt your business. College student centers, cafes/coffee shops, and bookstores are a few places you could try out if they allow you to advertize your services.

I think the only real concern I have with Papersaurus is the pricing. Three dollars per paper doesn’t seem too bad, but when you take into account that some schools offer this service for free, it could turn some heads away. If this ever seems like a problem, it may help to mention that clients are not only paying for accurate proofreading and editing, but also for the speed in which Papersaurus is able to finish a work. For desperate clients with a short deadline, it may benefit you both to offer some kind of emergency service where you can promise the client a sooner deadline for a higher price. I hope my suggestions/comments have been useful, but as stated in the beginning, http://www.papersaurus.com knows how to display an attractive and legitimate website.
The entry into the website is very easy on the eyes of the visitor. It is set up simply, each link works and they go into great detail and seems to go to great length in not withholding any information that would leave the visitor to wonder where they locate the services provided, the cost of the services. The option to read the company blog may be helpful but the visitor may wonder how bias it truly is and if they have actual users of the service or if the information is posted from the company’s perspective.
The visitor will be looking for this specific type of help from this company, won’t happen here by chance, and they will likely test the ease of the site by submitting their documents for proof reading.
There are quite a few sites out there such as this one but the ease and inviting nature of this site will likely cause writers to return for assistance with their stories, etc.
Feedback sought:1) Visit the Web site (http://www.papersaurus.com). Does the home page catch your attention? Does it seem inviting, and is it clear what service is offered and how you get started?
Yes, the home page is attractive, very well laid out. Â choices are clear and concise. Â No searching for what to click next. Â
2) Go to the order page. Is the process for submitting a document clear and easy to understand? How could it be made smoother?
It is a smooth and easy process to upload document. Â You might put in the front pages, before check out that paypal is the only type of payment accepted. Â Â
3) Does the site feel professional enough to attract your business and that of others, while also feeling playful and “casual†enough to appeal to younger clients (i.e. college students)?
The character doesn’t seem age appropriate for the demographics you are targeting. Â While all other aspects of the website are great, the first impression with the dinosaur made me think it was something geared more for grade school age. Â
4) What kind of low-budget marketing and publicity strategies do you think could work for this site? (We are boot-strapping it.)
Maybe offer a discount with multiple documents submitted. Â For every 5th, or 10th document submitted, get one proofed for free. Â or submit several in one order, and get a discount, % off of next purchase. Â or get a percent off coupon for each purchasing referral. Â

1.An Impactful homepage. Cute idea to use the dinosaur with a smile, resonates with the overall theme of the site. It is inviting because the site potrays confidence and knows what it is talking about. Also the cutie pie dino poses. The website is absolutely clear on the services offered and how to get started.
2.The order page is pretty straightforward. However, I had issues with filling the Document details. There were no blank spaces. Also I feel the last line “anything…to?” is unnecessary. The job type can include Manuals, Technical paper.
3. The website is a combination and casual approach. It appeals to both sections of the society. However the layout can be made more professional with font changes and flash animations. for eg : ‘Fast and affordable proofreading.’ this font can be changed to glow settings etc.(just a suggestion).
4. I think using Google adwords would be a good idea. Others include banner promotions, text ads etc.
5. My above comments covers all. But overall the website is cool, hats off to the creative genius of the designer.
1) Visit the Web site (http://www.papersaurus.com). Does the home page catch your attention? Does it seem inviting, and is it clear what service is offered and how you get started?
Yes, yes, and yes. This webpage seems very “fun,” perfect for students and even for corporate business types who may be writing memos, propsals, etc.
 Â

I think the process is very smooth.
 Â
3) Does the site feel professional enough to attract your business and that of others, while also feeling playful and “casual†enough to appeal to younger clients (i.e. college students)?
I think it does appeal to all kinds of clientelle and could maybe be marketed to persons who speak English as a 2nd or 3rd language.
Â
4) What kind of low-budget marketing and publicity strategies do you think could work for this site? (We are boot-strapping it.)
That’s my only problem with it; $3/page is NOT cheap! For students, 50 cents a page *may* be acceptable, but…. I think that rather than marketing to students and young people, they should market more to attorneys, bankers, adults.

I think it would a very good site to submit a resume/cover letter or a letter to a court.Â
The home page definitely caught my attention. Keeping it simple was effective in this circumstance and I immediately knew what the website’s intentions were.
I also enjoyed the order page. Not too many questions to overwhelm the visitor, yet enough to delegate the necessary information.
This website URL name is playful and I believe it has the right feel needed for it’s demographic. Not a mess of options which again, makes me enjoy the simplicity.
Academic forums and college-oriented social sites including Facebook would be beneficial. An active Twitter account is never a bad idea. Partner links may also help the spread of this sites offerings as well as making it beneficial to offer incentives for the website users to spread the word.
1) Visit the Web site (http://www.papersaurus.com). Does the home page catch your attention? Does it seem inviting, and is it clear what service is offered and how you get started?
Oh yes, the color mostly drawn to get a paper written right away, It is very creative. It offer resumes reviews, papers reviews. I think this is great like a tutor is reviewing your work and $3.00 a page is not bad but I would do special offers because Im in college and I have to write 10-20 pages at times. To be honest I would not pay $30.00 for that maybe 15 the most but than a again I can go over it with a tutor for free at my school and my professor can help me get it done for free.2) Go to the order page. Is the process for submitting a document clear and easy to understand? How could it be made smoother?  Well its great but, how long does your paper be process and by when plus I do not think I want someones opinion to influence mines to change the orginally of my work.
3) Does the site feel professional enough to attract your business and that of others, while also feeling playful and “casual†enough to appeal to younger clients (i.e. college students)? Well I think its a great fit for college students because of the writing style there’s APR which is the hardest maybe you can have sessions to teach this stlye!!4) What kind of low-budget marketing and publicity strategies do you think could work for this site? (We are boot-strapping it.)  I would use facebook and twitter. Using twitter to get the word out most def

1) Visit the Web site (http://www.papersaurus.com). Does the home page catch your attention? Does it seem inviting, and is it clear what service is offered and how you get started?
It’s cute! The little dinosaurs made me laugh. Very inviting, in a lighthearted way. It’s very clear how to get started with the “Submit your document” button. The “Learn More” button led me to a good explanation of the services offered. If I were planning on submitting a lengthy document, I’d explore further from there before buying.
2) Go to the order page. Is the process for submitting a document clear and easy to understand? How could it be made smoother?
I understood everything on the page. I was a little confused by the page organization — the difference between the section headers (e.g., “Document Details”) and the subheadings (“Title”) are so small that I thought “Document Details” was a place for entering information. It took me a few seconds to realize that the subsequent headings referred to the details requested. So if “Your Work” and “Document Details” stood out a little more I think the organization of the page would be clearer.
3) Does the site feel professional enough to attract your business and that of others, while also feeling playful and “casual†enough to appeal to younger clients (i.e. college students)?
As I said above, the dinosaurs are really cute and fun. However, the design does make me wonder if the services provided are at a high professional level. The site seems more appropriate for high school and maybe college students, but I wonder if they’d be willing to pay $3/page.
4) What kind of low-budget marketing and publicity strategies do you think could work for this site? (We are boot-strapping it.)
Facebook, to reach college and high school students. Teachers love Pinterest, so there might be a way to set up some boards there that would attract them to your business and lead them to recommend it. Campus ambassadors and/or demos on campuses would be effective.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
As a professional writer, I would like to see work samples on the site — before and after versions of proofread documents, so I could see the level of editing that was available for $3/page. Perhaps consider offering graduated levels of service at lower price points to attract younger customers.

1) Visit the Web site (www.papersaurus.com). Does the home page catch your attention? Does it seem inviting, and is it clear what service is offered and how you get started? The home page is very clear and easy to understand. It was very inviting to me and seemed like it was going to be easy to use. To me, it was very clear what service was offered and how to get started.
2) Go to the order page. Is the process for submitting a document clear and easy to understand? How could it be made smoother? I think the process was very clear. I like that is had a box for special instructions. I think it would be more helpful for the person reading it to know exactly what it was for. The layout of the website is very easy to navigate and find the information you are looking for.
3) Does the site feel professional enough to attract your business and that of others, while also feeling playful and “casual†enough to appeal to younger clients (i.e. college students)? It sees like the website would definately appeal to college students and younger, but not so much for professionals. I love how it seems so simple and easy to use. I just think the dinosaurs on everything is a little juvenile for a business professional.
4) What kind of low-budget marketing and publicity strategies do you think could work for this site? (We are boot-strapping it.) I would definately print up fliers and pass out on college campuses if possible. I think that’s where you will get most of your clients. Also, I would try to get the n!e out there by making a facebook page and maybe 1/2 price for “liking” the site. It would be a great to get your name out there by having a mascot pass out fliers and the spring break hot spots! (the beaches are packed with college students the whole month of march).

I like the site and probably would have used it in college if my roommate hadn’t been an english major!

1) Visit the Web site (http://www.papersaurus.com). Does the home page catch your attention? Does it seem inviting, and is it clear what service is offered and how you get started?
Yes it did. I could easily see everything that was offered. The impression I got was that the site and process is professional and legal.2) Go to the order page. Is the process for submitting a document clear and easy to understand? How could it be made smoother?
I felt like this site gave options for efficient and useful information relevant to successful proofreading and good results, also asked questions about the purpose for proofreading to avoid students who might use it for cheating and/or falsifying assignments.  3) Does the site feel professional enough to attract your business and that of others, while also feeling playful and “casual†enough to appeal to younger clients (i.e. college students)?
Yes and yes. I would suggest this site to friends who have businesses or who are students. As a former proofreader I would consider this site a good one to work for. 4) What kind of low-budget marketing and publicity strategies do you think could work for this site? (We are boot-strapping it.)
The best and cheapest form of advertising is through ‘word-of-mouth’. If the work is good and customers are satisfied then they will tell others. Adding a price reduction offer if a great incentive, and usually can be done without too much loss of profit. If it was my site that’s what I would do. Or have a group price for 3 or more documents or people who upload together. Maybe create a ‘link with’ button where other users must post within so many hours from the same school or institution in order to get the discount. 5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I would suggest a writing tip, updated daily, on your home page. Something small but useful and interesting. Not everyone is going to go and visit a blog to read information. Having it easily available will make this site more ‘people-friendly’.Â
