  1. Visit peggsit.com/gig, are you willing to post a gig/apply to fill a gig? Why or why not?

When I attempted to visit peggsit.com/gig I got an error message stating the page could not be found. I then just keyed peggsit.com and reached the home page. Yes, I would be willing to post/apply to fill a gig. When you need work done it would be more convenient for contractors to contact you vs. you having to search and find them. Where as if you are a contractor just starting out this would be a great way to get new clients.

How do you think this site compares to competitors like Craigslist.org?

I like that this website provides the amount of the job something you dont have to do on craigslist.org. The fact that a lot of the categories didn’t have gigs was a bit disappointing. Maybe the catergories can be grouped differently until they are needed. There could also be a section where people can rate the posters and fillers. You dont want to have a lot of scam artist using your website.

Right now, if you needed help moving, cleaning your apt, with yard work, etc. how would you find help?

Currently I would either check yellowpages.com, craigslist.org or angieslist.com. These three websites each provide me with what I am looking for. I like Angieslist.com because it provides reviews on local contractors which helps when trying to determine who would be best for the job.
