Visit https://www.PosterMyWall.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
The homepage looks like it is to make custom posters and collages.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
I like how you have your selling points on your homepage where people can see them first off.
The scrolling pictures on homepage seem to transition very fast. It is sort of distracting. Could you make this “flipping” or “fading” feature to go slower?
I like that you have a tour on the homepage.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
I don’t like how you have your poster backgrounds and categories on your homepage. Your homepage should be reserved for selling your idea/brand. If people then want to do it, then you should be able to “Get Started” – Then have the first step to making a poster or collage on that page. That is where your backgrounds and categories should be. Not on your homepage. See actionable suggestion #4.
Try to make a poster. What do you think of the backgrounds? Are you able to make an attractive poster?
The backgrounds look cool. Did you create these custom or get them from a source?
What would help you to make a better, more interesting poster?
I don’t know the answer to this. I mean, if you are the poster experts you should have the knowledge base on this. I’m not a poster expert.
Are there any parts of the Poster Maker that are hard to use? Which parts?
I can’t find any hard parts to use. User interface seems straightforward.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Comment on pricing: I went to Walmart.com photo for price comparison on photo luster type prints. Now I can make custom pictures with free software and send it to Walmart.com to print on luster paper. For an “8×10” on luster at walmart photo, I can purchase it for $ 2.84. That makes me think 1 8×12 for $7.50 is a little high, when you include 6.95 for shipping. It is more convenient to send a luster print to Walmart and pick up for waaaaay cheaper.
Actionable suggestions: 1) On your homepage, the words “The Best online Custom Poster and Collage Maker” – The word online would look better capitalized. Also, could you explain why the font for this looks “pixely”? The letters don’t appear to look smooth. I would suggest using a smoother looking font. Pixelation does not look professional, when it is not intended to look that way.
2) Could you look into making the fade on your homepage slide viewer transition slower. It is giving my eyes a headache. Maybe have each slide stay for 15 seconds and not transition so fast.
3) I recommend that you fix your tabs. Home, Public Gallery and Browse Background are normal font, while New Poster and Collage Maker are Bold font. I don’t understand the reasoning for this. I would make them all consistant. If there is a reason to emphasis these two tabs, please state that with “New” or something to that effect.
4) Move poster backgrounds and categories to a page after a visitor chooses to get started. Now if you want to display final products of professional looking examples, these should go on your homepage, but not backgrounds and categories.
5) Reduce your pricing on prints. I personally would not pay what you are asking plus shipping and handling. It may be more reasonable if there were not shipping and handling charges.
·     Visit https://www.PosterMyWall.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
I think the site allows users to customize and create poster collages that can be printed and shipped to them at high quality. It’s digitizing the photo walls we all used to make in high school and in our college dorms. It’s a neat idea – especially given that you’ve provided backgrounds and templates that can be incorporated into the posters. As far as I’m concerned, the concept is straightforward and well communicated on the home page.Â
·     Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
You seem to have a lot on the homepage. I think that you could move some of this material – especially anything that requires scrolling, to secondary pages. Consider adding additional tabs to the top navigation bars to increase organization, and reduce homepage clutter. Too much makes a site looks less professional. If you’ve laid out your concept well, which you have, consumers will click on if they’re interested. If they’re not interested, they’re still not going to be even after looking at everything you have to offer on the homepage. I’d consider putting all the stuff about popular posters, backgrounds, and themes in an entirely separate section – it doesn’t need to be on the homepage – that’s stuff that is a consideration after the consumer has already been sold the main idea. I’d also remove your pricing from the homepage – that seems like TMI upfront – make them search for it! You don’t want to turn someone off immediately by the pricing, even before they’ve had a chance to explore. Sell it to them first, then they’ll see the value in your pricing scheme.
I really like the scroll – I think it shows good examples of your work, how the software works, and it’s fun! This is great.Â
·     What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
Bothersome features, some mentioned above, include:
Â
Too much on the homepage – too much clutter
The pricing should definitely be in a separate section
I wouldn’t want my poster automatically showing up in “Recent Posters†– I’d make sure you communicate that your poster will only show up there if you choose to allow this. What if you make something personal/private?!
   Features I like include:
Â
The connection to social media. Definitely keep this on the hompage – I think this is a huge selling point. It makes the software so easy!
The press box is good – it shows your relevance. I might put this on a separate page within a “News†or “About Us†tab – it’ll get more exposure there. I know it seems counterintuitive that removing something from your homepage will get it more exposure, but when you have an easy to follow and read navigation panel, users will click there first, as opposed to scrolling!
·     Try to make a poster. What do you think of the backgrounds? Are you able to make an attractive poster?
The backgrounds are good (mostly aimed at children and young teens). I’m able to make a poster. It’s easy to do, and especially easy to upload photos. I love that I can search the web for photos.Â
·     What would help you to make a better, more interesting poster?
If I were to use this software I’d like to have some backgrounds there were a little more professional. I am of course able to make posters for business or professional use, but if you had examples of more companies using this in ways that attract adults, I’d like that. I did see a few – but perhaps you could add a “small business†section – it reaches an entirely new target market whilst not alienating your primary audience (assuming that is children/teens/parents/etc.)
·     Are there any parts of the Poster Maker that are hard to use? Which parts?
It wasn’t hard for me to do, although, I’ve used computers forever and this comes naturally to me. Even so, though, I’d imagine this would be straight forward for those who aren’t familiar. You’ve made your site, your concept, and your program easy to do. I might add that onto your bullet point on features on the homepage: “Easy to make!â€
·     Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I really liked this idea. I could have seen myself using this when I was younger. I don’t think the prices are outrageous – I’ve paid much more for art that I like – and if you print pictures through Kodak or a drugstore, you’d pay a lot more for prints those sizes. I think you should compare your pricing to what it would cost to blow up a personal photo at a print shop like that. You can’t compare to Wal-Mart’s posters, as the review above did, because those are mass produced images – this is not what you do. I think you have a unique idea and product that many will use. Now you just have to reach and market to those audiences! Good luck!
Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
It seems to be a site that allows you to make posters out of your own photos. Great idea!
Â
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
I like all the info you include on the homepage–the slideshow, the link to your tour, your selection of backgrounds, your pricing (very important!), a comparison chart with your competitors. I think these are all points that new users wonder about immediately, and you do a good job of getting that info out there right away. However, I wonder if users will scroll down far enough to see your pricing plan, comparison chart, etc. I think I would like to see you shorten your poster backgrounds section so that the other material can be moved higher up the page.
Â
When I clicked your tour link, I was surprised that this wasn’t a video. The instructions were understandable, but I would’ve liked to see a video to watch the process in action.
Â
Next, I started clicking through the tabs at the top of your home page. No problems here until I got to New Poster. Wow, that took a long time to load! Collage Maker took a little while too but wasn’t nearly as bad.
Â
Finally, I checked out your links on the bottom of the home page:
Â
I like the blog, especially the more instructional posts. Users like to read info that’s helpful to them. My only suggestion for this page is that you move the button that says “Start building your poster!” to the top of the right column, right above “Create a Poster Collage.” These two buttons need to be seen right away so that users can easily jump off the blog page and into the action. I would move the “About Us” button a little farther down to make room for the other two at the top. Uh-oh, one more issue: When I tried to get back to the home page from the blog, I couldn’t find a link! I had to use my browser’s back arrow.
Â
The About page is extremely short. I’d like to read a more extensive background here, especially if I’m going to be parting with cash.
Â
I like that your FAQ is ordered into recognizable categories that link from the top so that users don’t have to scroll down to find the answers they need. The FAQ looks well written and clear.
Â
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
I like that the site pulls me in right away with the slideshow and demo backgrounds. I also like how easy it is to navigate. And, frankly, this is just a really good idea! I was thinking awhile ago that someone should offer some kind of poster creation service, and I’m excited that you’re doing it! In addition, I think it’s really useful that you support collaboration with Facebook friends. The phone support is a nice touch, too.
Â
What I find bothersome is that it takes quite awhile to load the New Poster page. I worry that some users will be turned off by that and will click on to a different site.
Â
Try to make a poster. What do you think of the backgrounds? Are you able to make an attractive poster?
I clicked on New Poster again. (The second time, it loaded more quickly, although I don’t know that most users would give it a second chance.) I was immediately faced with a choice of backgrounds, and I liked that you offered a range of images, solids, and color fades as well as the option to upload your own background. I was impressed with your selection of backgrounds, but, again, they took a long time to load. I selected an image, and once more, I had to wait awhile for it to load. I easily identified the “Add photo” link in the upper left. When I clicked on it, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I could not only upload my own photos but also add photos from the web. I tried your web search feature to see what it would come up with, and it returned a really good selection! I decided to go with one of these photos. However, I ran into a little bit of a problem. While it was nice that your program allowed me to drag the photo anywhere on the canvas, I didn’t really like that it wasn’t automatically centered for me. (I don’t really trust myself to be precise enough to center it perfectly!) When I clicked “Fit to Screen,” it didn’t do anything. However, I did really like your selection of effects, and I would suggest adding more. I also love that you can change the background right from the canvas without having to start all over again.
Â
What would help you to make a better, more interesting poster?
As I said, I’d like to see more effects. You could add a wider selection of borders, glows, drop shadows, and so on.
Â
Are there any parts of the Poster Maker that are hard to use? Which parts?
I really don’t think so. I found everything self-explanatory and easy to use. As I said, though, I do wish you’d offer some kind of automatic centering feature because it’s hard for the human eye to judge that perfectly.
Â
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I think this site is such a nice idea! I really love that you can test it out before committing to sign up. Poster prices seem reasonable. If your print quality is good, I might actually use your service. My only real issue with your site is that some of the pages take quite awhile to load. If you can fix that issue, I think you’ll have a winner here.

* Visit https://www.PosterMyWall.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
I think this site allows you to design and purchase custom posters with your own photos. I see that it is in beta testing and allows you to connect with Facebook as well.
* Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
I’ll do this section by section, since there are many elements to this site, starting with the home page. See below.
* What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
Home Page – I am impressed by PosterMyWall’s home page for three main reasons. First, there is a large headline explaining exactly what the site is about. Second, there are two buttons buttons, easy visible, to get me started with using the site (“Create your poster now” and “Take a Tour”).  I understand that “Take a Tour” will teach me how to use the site and I believe this is essential to a good user interface. Finally, the Facebook Connect feature is a definite plus. It can be frustrating to have to fill out a form for a website and Facebook Connect really solves that issue. Additionally, you have all the essential links easily accessible in your footer (About, Privacy Policy, etc.). On the negative side, I think the “How is PosterMyWall different?” section could be removed from the home page and replaced with a button right above or below the Press section. Alternatively, you could just do away with the poster categories, as the user can also access those under “Browse Backgrounds” in the navigation bar. Taking one of those two actions will create less clutter on the home page while at the same time getting rid of the white space on the right.
Public Gallery – I do like this features of the site, but I have a suggestion. I would like to see it separated into categories, so instead of just seeing the most recent posters, I can browse through the categories and select one for my occasion (say, romance). I could then just copy it and not have to go through the steps of designing one of my own. Contributing users could just select which category their posters belong in when choosing to share it. I believe that the quicker a process is, the more likely a browser will become a customer in today’s world of quick and easy, so I would suggest somehow implementing this feature.
About/Contact Us – Both pages are well done, but I believe they could be combined for a more pleasant user experience. There is so little information on each page, it seems like it is not the best use of website real estate to separate them. I did like that you put the Facebook Connect widget on the Contact Us page. Many websites place it on the home page where it only adds clutter. Also, I do like that you have a very easily accessible contact form in the footer. This negates the need for a user to click through several links in order to send a message.
* Try to make a poster. What do you think of the backgrounds? Are you able to make an attractive poster?
I was able to make a very easy and attractive poster using the Facebook collage option. This is a very intuitive interface and was easy to follow step-by-step. The Facebook feature is especially nice because I don’t have to re-upload photos I already have in my Facebook album. It was also a nice surprise to see I unlocked a 10% discount for sharing the poster. This is very nicely done.
As for the backgrounds, some are very nice and some below average. I’m a graphic designer by trade, and I’d like to see a wider selection of higher quality backgrounds. I would recommend holding a contest for designers to create backgrounds. The winner might get credits towards some free posters or around a $50 prize (less money than this and you won’t get much interest). I think it would be popular and allow you to obtain a lot of high quality art at very minimal investment. This could be similar to what ArtsCow.com does for it’s scrapbooking kits. It’s very popular and has allowed them to add thousands of backgrounds and themes to their collection at minimal investment.
Other things I liked included the ability to download the poster in a preview format and being able to share your product on Facebook.Â
* What would help you to make a better, more interesting poster?
Again, I would like to see more background options. There are so many other options, I don’t think the user could ask for more! The ability to search Flikr, for example, makes it easy to integrate any image you like into the poster. Unfortunately, most of these aren’t going to be a high enough resolution to replace the currently available backgrounds so more backgrounds are still needed.
* Are there any parts of the Poster Maker that are hard to use? Which parts?
I do have two critiques on this part of the program. First, under the photo options (Faded/Drop Shadow/Sepia/Posterize/Etc), I can’t select the last option (no border), because it doesn’t scroll up when I pull the right scroll bar down. If I were using a larger monitor I would probably be able to access it. This needs to be fixed for netbook or small laptop users.
Second, I would like to see, next to the “Bring to front” and “Send to back” options, an option to bring the object forward or back one layer. I have used a lot of programs like this, and if you have a lot of photos on one sheet, sometimes you want to send one only one layer back. It can be frustrating having to send it all the way back, then send all the photos around it back behind it. This would only apply to users who were incorporating lots of photos, however.
* Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I noticed another reviewer posted above that his/her poster was available under the recently created poster section regardless of whether she/he wanted it there. I didn’t notice mine come up, but I agree that you should have the option to make a poster private and that should be made clear during the creation process.
In addition to that, when I click on copy/edit under the recently created posters, I have access to that user’s photos. I am not sure, but I believe this might be a privacy or copyright issue. I shouldn’t have the right to reprint someone else’s photos without their permission. ArtCow.com, who I mentioned earlier, lets you copy projects, but the photos are taken out and you are left with only a template where you can insert your own photos. At the very least, there should be an option for the user to “Allow sharing of this project under “Recent Posters” and allow other users to reprint your photos”.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the way this site works and interacts with the user. Good luck to you!
Visit https://www.PosterMyWall.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
-I believe it is a site where you can make a poster or a collage or something like that by using your templates or other stuff. That is the only thing I got within 5 seconds.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
-Hmm, this is quite a tough one. I like the word “Beta” in your banner, that gives me the correct expectation that the site might perform changes in coming days and we can also expect the site to disappear at all. I like the site being honest. I also like that you are connected to various social networking sites like facebook and twitter, that makes it easier to advertise your products/services.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
-This question is almost similar to the one before it. Anyway, I think 5 seconds for your slideshow is too fast if you can simply adjust it to at least 7 seconds then that’ll be fair enough. Also it is a good thing that you give users the freedom to check on which slides they want to check out. Another thing, I will base this from other sites kind of similar to yours. I think you should minimize the amount of content on your homepage. What I usually see on the home page are the basic information’s that user needs to know. Or if you don’t want to remove some contents on the home page, at least replace them with other stuff like “examples” of your work. Photos that will prove how amazing your works are instead of putting the categories directly right at the bat. I also like the search public posters feature. That also gives me the correct impression that there are some posters that I will not be able to view. I also like that you categorize your services from Posters to Collage. I also like that you have the important links at the bottom of the page such as FAQ, Contact Us, About, Privacy Policy. Those are really important because that makes users feel that you are reachable and willing to help. I also like that you have an instant feedback access at the bottom of every page. That is very impressive assuming that with that being there you’ll be receiving a lot of good/bad feedbacks from various users. I think the only thing I hate is that when you sign in using facebook. The time you sign out to the page it’ll also sign our to facebook. That one is indeed a pain.
Try to make a poster. What do you think of the backgrounds? Are you able to make an attractive poster?
-Indeed. Because I’m awesome. lol, no I mean your backgrounds are awesome. If you could add more of those then that’ll be better. In cases that some users can’t find anything that suits their idea, then at least they have the option to upload their own backgrounds if they have any.
What would help you to make a better, more interesting poster?
-Since this is like an online image editor. Then for me to feel at home at your site you should be able to provide me the freedom to do as I wish. I mean, if you can only put all the functions of photoshop on your site then that’ll be awesome, but at least make images or backgrounds overlap to each other and adjust the opacity or something like that so that even if users are using the same background on your site they can also be unique by changing some of the originals. Also I think it’ll be quicker for users since you have facebook connect on your site then I think it is also possible to access their photo gallery if they want to so that users will have the option to weather upload images from their computer or just grab photos from their facebooks photo album.
Are there any parts of the Poster Maker that are hard to use? Which parts?
-Nothing in particular. It is pretty simple and user-friendly. However, in case that you’ll be having visitors that are not computer savvy, then put a help function on the part where they are creating a poster. I don’t see any help functions on that page.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
-The concept itself is impressive. It is like an online image editor. This will help users put their creativity into action even if they are not in front of their own computer. I also love the available backgrounds. Ideas kept popping up on my head after seeing backgrounds from one genre to another. Dark, bright, gloomy etc.. I also like the functionality when creating a poster. Like what I’ve said above, if you could only put the same functions of pictures/images into your backgrounds so that users will be able to make their idea unique at some point. While on the “Creating poster” part. I think the important links at the bottom of the page should still be there, if you find it distracting at the bottom then put them at the top of the page. There are still some blank space at the top. Maybe you can just put those links into a drop down menu, you can remove the others though, just the important ones that users will be able to use while creating a poster, the FAQs, and since you already have a send feedback the the upper right corner of the page. You can then exclude the contact us. Since your are making users pay for their ideas to be created. Then I think you should consider the fact that some other users will come to steal their ideas for their own good. What I’m trying to say is the functionality of the right click button of the mouse. Users all over the town will be able to copy and paste the images, the backgrounds or anything on the site which is I think not appropriate since some users are paying for these. If you can remove the right click button and highlighting the images while viewing the public posters. Then that’ll prevent users to steal images from your site.
-Overall. The concept, the appearance, the price. Everything is okay. Just need more advertisement I guess, so that your site will be well known all over the town. I might come again to use your service. I always want to create posters and such. So yeah. brilliant site. Good luck to you!
Visit https://www.PosterMyWall.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
I did as the question said and looked at the site for about ten seconds. Just from looking at it i could tell it was a webpage made for creating collages and other posters. It is kind of like a site like walgreens photo or other types that allow you to upload photos and create little things. This site focuses only on collages.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
I really like the organization of this webpage. It has a cool little slide show showing you the variety of things people can make on this site. There are also many background option. At the bottom of the page it shows how this site is better than the other site strictly made for making posters and collages.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?Â
All in all I am a big fan of the organization and layout of this site; although there is a lot of free space at the bottom. I suggest moving the facebook box up along side the background that way all that space is not between the backgrounds and box at the bottom. The colors on the page are good and they are easy on the eyes.
Try to make a poster. What do you think of the backgrounds? Are you able to make an attractive poster?
I was able to make a poster i find very appealing. With the choices of the different backgrounds and also the ideas from the slide show on the home page i found it quite easy. There are so many different things you can make out of all the choices that anybody can make an attractive poster.
What would help you to make a better, more interesting poster?
I think that for the facebook instacollage if there was also a different type of poster to make that didnt need facebook. not everybody puts all their photos on facebook so it would be cool to upload photos from your computer and be able to make the same type of collage.
Are there any parts of the Poster Maker that are hard to use? Which parts?
I did not find anything hard about making the poster. It tells you what to do step bye step to make things quicker. If people are not sure what to do then they can easily read the steps and follow that. Other people will be able to make the posters without the directions.

Visit https://www.PosterMyWall.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
The site is about customizing a poster. I can create poster in ur site with $7.50 above charged with shipping. I can choose the background the size colors.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
The ‘Take a Tour’ guide is a very convenient feature for visitors. they can know hard it works by this. i like ur slideshows in the homepage showing the sample posters. Which this can attract people. But i suggest that u can put more interesting n more professional and stylish posters to attract customers. Then u have shown some sample background, popular background and the categories. This really looks professional. Then u make a compare to other similar sites. This can be good and can be bad. Some people might not trust ur compare if they never tried other sites service. They might think that u just trying to show that u r better than others just to convince them. I think that u can just list down ur good features without comparing to other sites. I say that u have social connect with others social networks such as facebook and twitter. This is really great. People can directly connect to facebook through ur site which they have plenty of photos in their facebook.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
What i find bothersome is that the creating poster feature loading is a little bit slower. I understand that it take time to load features, backgrounds, colors n etc to load. If u can make it faster it’s great. I dont feel any other bothersome beside this. What i like the most is that u have a feature that allow visitors to send any comment and questions directly to u. This can make u communicate with ur site visitors and get u closer with them by understanding their problem so u can solve it. U display the sizes price in the right hand side of ur homepage. This is a great too. People might have interest after see-ing ur sample works then they will wanted to know the price. Ur site is simple, which i really like. i can easily understand what ur site is about. what service u providing. It’s not a complicated site like i have to take minutes to find out what the site is about.
Try to make a poster. What do you think of the backgrounds? Are you able to make an attractive poster?
The backgrounds is good. I suggest that u can put a box for people to enter how they want their background look like in case if they cant find the background that they want in the categories. Then u can add some more for them in future. This is a very good service and it is professional. i can make a poster, but i dont know if it’s attractive. But the feature is cool.
What would help you to make a better, more interesting poster?
More choice of background, if can i would like to create my own background with animation selections. I know u have the image background, but if i dont find any that i like at least i can create it by myself directly using ur features.
Are there any parts of the Poster Maker that are hard to use? Which parts?
I dont find any is hard to use. If u r worried that some visitor dont know how to use, u might can provide some description wen people point their pointer to the editor options. Or u cn add some simple instructions.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I think i have mention most of it above. The price i think if ur quality is good people will think it’s worth. So make sure people is satisfied with the delivered posters. i think u cn show the payment method badges in ur homepage such as paypal if u have connect with them.
What do you think the site is about?
I think this is a site where you can design your own custom posters online.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
I like the bright green “make poster now” button…it allows people to begin right away before they have a chance to lose interest.
The smaller, orange ‘take a tour’ button is also a great way to grab the attention of those who pause at the idea of beginning right away.
I also like the way the backgrounds & Categories are laid it…its clean, non-detracting from the goal of getting people to trying out their poster and stimulates lots of ideas for those who maybe don’t already have a specific poster in mind upon entering the site,
The comparison between your service and the other poster-making services are also a good touch because it can sway someone who has used one of the competitor’s sites.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
There isn’t anything I don’t like…I think its a clean, well thought out, easy to understand site. I like the 100% money back guarantee offer, I like the facebook-specific features. Â I like that all the relevant information I need to make the decision to get my poster with you is right there and well-organized.
Try to make a poster. What do you think of the backgrounds? Are you able to make an attractive poster?
I think there are lots of great templates and the option to add a custom image is easy and clear. Â I was able to make a poster that I liked very quickly. Â I made one custom and one with an available background and they were both very easy to make.
What would help you to make a better, more interesting poster?
I would be more interested in wider selection of background images. Â I would like to see a more sophisticated backgrounds as well…some of them are a little too cartoon-y, and I wouldn’t want to buy something like that. Â Perhaps a link or affiliation with a stock-photography website would provide a wider selection of quality, free photographs with an added option of paying, at various price options, for great photography blown up poster sized. Â Its a great way to capture elegant design on a budget.
Are there any parts of the Poster Maker that are hard to use? Which parts?
None. Â Hats off to the team. I’ve used many of the comparable sites and this is the easiest and best organized of the lot.

Great job…with the right marketing, and keeping your prices competitive, your site could easily become the next go-to site for online poster printing.  I would definitely use your service!

I really like the scrolling poster samples on the homepage. Its bright and vivid and it immediatly draws the veiwers in to what your site is about.
*I can further explain using the following question.*
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
Pros:
It’s nice when you can immediately see what a site does without doing a lot of reading. well done for that part. I really like that you have highlighted key elements on your page such as the “take a tour” and “create your poster now.”I like that you short list of point to drawer the viewer in. I really like that you have a section that hightlignts why your different from your compeititors but its so far down to the bottom of the page that people may not want to look at it.  It would be nice to see a tab that features information about your company. I would rather not see to much information on your home page, its way to long. You clearly have tab to illustrate your back grounds so I see no need to have them featured on the homepage. Your company clearly show that you have variety of styles in your scrolling poster section. Again information about prices needs to be taken from the homepage page and places in another section. The feedback section is really nice but again its so far down the page to a place where people are no visually drawn to. Youhave created a simple but nice contact page but there needs to be a tab towards the top of the page. I had to search the bottom part of the page to find it. If people have a problem and need quick contact they don’t want to hunt to find you information. I like the that you use a simple color choice and use a varation of the shade blue. The colorful tabs you use don’t have to compete in color with the rest of the page so they stand out visually. I also like that you have a “home” tab, it makes for faster access to the first page. The take a tour section was awesome and visually alluring. Each section was colorful, easy to read and featured great examples. I must say that I instanly thought of video when it said take a tour but I was not slighted in the least in the presenation of your tour. I like how the text boxes on the side were highlighted as you moved through each section of the tour. You have a great back ground selections. I also like that you can a 100% gaurantee and that you have your own lingo, “facebook istanacollage.”
Try to make a poster. What do you think of the backgrounds? Are you able to make an attractive poster?
The background selection is very nice. I actually like the section screen that comes up, the create a new poster, section. It was easy to pick a background. I like that I could add text, but I would like to see a font selection smaller than 24. It was nice to that in a second I could chang the background without starting over. I like that I could just move the photo off to the side and that it would be instanly placed in my gallery. I really like that web search. I was able to easily crop the picture and keep on moving.
What would help you to make a better, more interesting poster?
I would like to see more professional backgrounds. I understand that you aim is for fun, college, social media but I can some some professionals searching out an easy to use sight such as yours.
Are there any parts of the Poster Maker that are hard to use? Which parts?

It would be nice if you could type in a search word and pull up backgrounds that are relative to your search inquiry.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like? At first I didn’t understand how to do it but I took the tour and then looked at the gallery of other customers. Now I can do it. I like how they compared their site with Snapfish, etc. so that you can see how you can do more things here.

Visit https://www.PosterMyWall.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
Creating posters, there was a big “Create your poster” button, so it was quite easy to know what this site is about. The images were linked to the theme as well, which reinforced the idea of making a poster.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
The style used is really nice. It give a “modern” feeling to site but also welcomes mature aged people. It is a friendly environment and the colours comprises each other pretty well.
What I don’t like is that you are marketing your website with a Pros, Cons evaluation which is compared to other websites. You do need to advertise it so that people use it, but comparing it to other websites, I think is not the right thing to do. Specially as you gave distinct and clear names.
I don’t think that the poster background categories need to be on the main page. The Popular poster backgrounds are enough.
You made good use of balancing your texts and pictures, as well as the good use of eyeflow. I notice the slideshow with pictures of people and posters first, it makes me curious. Then I see the Take a Tour button and just after is the “Create your poster now” button and to finish off with the benefits of the websites. A good eyeflow that builds up curiosity and leads to the user wanting to “Create their own posters”.
The ability to connect to facebook is well done as well, considering everyone is on facebook nowadays!
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
Read above.
Try to make a poster. What do you think of the backgrounds? Are you able to make an attractive poster?
You give a lot of categories as well as a lot of variety. It is very easy and straight forward as to what I have to do and therefore, I could indeed make attractive posters to my taste.
What I would suggest is to enable a “Photoshop” type of toolbar that allows you to play with the contrast, brightness, colour tint, and erase part of the given background. Then it will be perfect !
