  1. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
Looks like daily tips to help people stop smoking.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
Starting with the homepage, I really like how your mission statement is so prominently featured. I know as soon as I land on the page that this is a site which will help me stop smoking and that you offer daily tips by voice, email, and text.  On the other hand, I don’t totally love your accompanying photo of a woman on the phone simply because that doesn’t communicate anything about the purpose of the site. I realize that you’re trying to reinforce that your daily tips are accessible by phone, email, and text, and I think the three little graphics are fine (phone, envelope, and text bubble). But I think you should replace the photo with a picture of someone stamping out a cigarette or tossing a box of cigarettes into a wastebasket or something like that. That would be a better visual representation of what you’re about.

Moving along, I like your logo with the doused cigarette (very cute), I like the homepage copy, and I like the reassurance of a money-back guarantee. I love that I can hear a sample message, but I wonder why I can’t choose to get a sample text or email instead. Better yet, why can’t I see or hear a sample right on your site without giving you any of my personal info? If I haven’t decided that I want to purchase your service yet, I’m not sure I’d want to give out my number or email.

I like your Features page. It has a nice mix of copy and visuals, and it’s neither too long nor too short. It clearly communicates why I’d want to use your service and how it works, and it does so in a way that’s friendly and cute.

The FAQ seems fine, although I’m a little confused by the quotes in the right margin since one seems to be from a review of your site. Wouldn’t you want to put that in a review or testimonial section?

About QuitJuice is a great example of an about page–warm, friendly, inspiring.

Your Media/Press Kit page actually seems more geared to users than to the media. I found myself wishing that the points under “How is this different from other smoking cessation sites?” had been included on your Features page. These points are concise, powerful, and persuasive.

The Contact Us page looks fine.

The Cancelation/Refunds page is very good. Your informal tone helps to reassure me that you care about my satisfaction and will honor your word about refunds. I also like that you’re willing to permanently expunge all account data. It’s very rare that a website offers to do that, and it’s wonderful because a lot of people really value their privacy and would undoubtedly see this as very customer-friendly.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
I like your slogan. I like your accessible, humorous copy. I like how quickly and clearly you explain what your service is for and why I should use it.

There’s not much that I really find bothersome. I did notice a few spelling errors, so you’ll want to proofread one more time. For example, your homepage links to the Cancelation / Refunds page, but the page itself is titled “Cancellation & Refunds.” You should pick your preferred spelling of “cancelation” and keep it uniform. As another example, on the Media/Press Kit page, if you look at the third point under “How is this different from other smoking cessation sites?” you’ll see a mistake with the word “its.” This is a contraction, not a possessive, so it should be spelled “it’s.” There are a few other minor errors here and there.

Also, I wouldn’t call it bothersome, but I noticed that you have a lot of white space on the right side of a number of your pages (e.g., Media/Press Kit, Contact Us, Cancelation/Refunds). You could eliminate this by centering the copy instead of left-aligning it, or you could add some visuals.

The only thing that really troubles me about your site is that I don’t get to see any examples of your daily tips unless I give you my phone number. I don’t want to have to give out my number just to see what you offer. I think you should provide at least five examples of your tips right on your site.

What do you think of the sign up process?
Pricing & Signup page looks fine. Obviously couldn’t continue through the whole process without getting billed, so I didn’t progress further.

Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
If I was a smoker trying to quit, I would definitely sign up for a free trial account. I love the idea of a free trial. In fact, I think you really need to offer a free trial if you aren’t going to display sample tips right on your site.

Have you ever seen a similar site doing what we’re doing?
No, I haven’t. However, I can’t say that I’ve looked for a site like yours since I’ve never been a smoker. It’s possible that there’s something like this out there, but I’m not aware of it.

Do you see value in quitjuice?
I do. Is it worth $7.95 a month, though? That I don’t know. I think it’s a small price to pay if it helps you quit in a month or two, but the question is whether it will really help. I think people who find it helpful in kicking the habit will think it’s worth it, but people who don’t find it helpful may feel that they wasted their money. And again, it’s hard to know how helpful a particular individual will find it if he/she can’t preview around five daily tips.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
I like the way your site is put together. It has a helpful, friendly vibe that just feels trustworthy without sacrificing professionalism. I also like that you get right to the point and present your case convincingly.

But, again, I wouldn’t be totally convinced until I could see some sample tips, and I don’t want to have to give you my personal info to see them. I know that as soon as I give a website my personal info, that usually means I’m on their mailing list. Whether or not that’s the case with your site, I don’t know, but I wouldn’t want to risk finding out just to get one sample that may or may not convince me to use your service. I think it would be very easy for you to add some plain text or media player samples to your site, and problem solved.

What do you think about our color scheme?
White, orange, and black? Yep, reminds me of a cigarette. 🙂 Seems right on target.

Is there anything lacking that would help convince you to purchase quitjuice that is not currently on the site?
Yes, the daily tip samples that I spoke of. Also, as you start to get customers, I’d love to see some testimonials. In the absence of customer testimonials, though, I’d at least add some kind of “What People Are Saying” page with clips from media reviews. Media reviews are a second-best option, and it seems that you have some of those already. So why not use them?

Good luck with this! It looks like you have good intentions, and I hope it takes off.

  2. Visit https://quitjuice.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?

This is a site for assisting us to quit smoking. Smokers who want to stop the addiction may find this website useful. The way you help smokers are texting them, emailing them daily to remind them not to smoke.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.

On first glance, I like the site very much. It’s well designed, the functionality is clear, I know who you’re targeting on, the website is useful and I don’t know any well-known sites which are doing this.

It looks professional and smokers would have try it if it is free.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like?

I don’t like the idea of being charged for using the service without trying it for free. To create an account we have to pay $7.95. Many users would be a little hesitant to sign up on your site because they don’t know if it will work in the long run. I suggest the site of introducing a free trial account options of a week or a month. If smokers find it useful, they’ll pay and introduce the application to others. Add in free trial accounts also help in collecting more users, you’re still in startup process and you need more people to know about it, and try the application if there are any further improvement. If I haven’t tried it before, and I don’t know any friends’ comment on it, I don’t know what’s tips and what help I’m going to get to accomplish my goal, I would think twice before I use the service.

Also, I don’t know the signup fee until I head to the signup page. If this is going to be a paid service, we would like to know right the way. I don’t know the fee of $7.95 until I fill in the form. I think you have to tell us it is $7.95 right from the start on your index page. I can’t find it on the frontpage, and I didn’t read about the fee on the signup description, I know that only when I fill in the form, which you said 7.95, you didn’t even put the “$” in front of 7.95. The site seems like proning to skip about the charge. You have the money back guarantee statement on your frontpage but you’re not telling how much you charge per month on that page. I don’t like that.

I also think that we have to know more on the money back guarantee service. We are told that if we’re not happy we will be refunded 100% of our purchase. Then to my understanding if unfortunately, EVERY users signed up for your service then asked for refund a month later, then it’s not good for the customer and website at the same time. The free trial account also helps as smokers can signup on the service and try it, once they’re happy with it then they will purchase the service. No refund because you’ve already tried it, you like it, so you pay for the service. Currently on what you’re offering, everyone can be “unhappy” about it and ask for refund; as a webmaster we don’t want to see that.

Also, when we ask for our money back, is there any chance that the website will be “not found” after my signup? I know then I will be searching for Jeremy Williams, how about any address and telephone contact?

I like the idea that you can buy it for somebody else, some smokers around your real life and try your best to help them quit smoking.

What do you think of the sign up process?

Sign up process is smooth, fast and I’m happy with it. But can I pay by Paypal?

Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?

No, I’m not a smoker. I don’t have the need of it. I may tell my friends to have a try if it is free.

Have you ever seen a similar site doing what we’re doing?

    No.

Do you see value in quitjuice?

Value I will take it as your website worth of existense or not, then definitely YES. The service is unique. The idea is great. At first I think that it may be difficult to help smokers by simply texting them on a specific moment of the day, because if they want to smoke, it can be “anytime”, “anywhere”. Will they simply stop smoking if they read the text after they’re having a coffee? Everyone knows that smoking is an addiction. If their self-control ability is that good, they would be able to quit smoking without signing up on your website. But as I know smokers have difficulty in controlling themselves. The application might not help them quit smoking instinctly, but can help them to do it progressively. The mission of quit smoking will build up in their mind if they conceive the message in a regular basis.

The remaining problem is that, will the smokers still can’t control themselves and light the cigarette right after they read the message? It is then in their control and is not something that the application can do.

What do you think about our color scheme?

The color scheme in this site is orange and grey/dark with minor green. I like it. But I think the orange can be a little darker orange, now you’re using bright orange on your background, sort of like a cheerful fun site. If a darker orange is used, that will be helpful in creating a deeper impression for smokers that this site is related to cigarette. Darker orange is a little like brown, color of cigarettes. I also won’t use brown as it is too negative for the site. Orange is good.

Is there anything lacking that would help convince you to purchase quitjuice that is not currently on the site?

    What I have mentioned above.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

The only element I want to talk about is the domain and website name: QuitJuice.com. Are there some english phases relate to quit Juice and quit smoking which I have never heard of? I only heard of drinking Grapefruit juice could help in quit smoking. Other than this, how does juice relate to smoking and cigarette? There is nothing wrong about calling it QuitJuice except it doesn’t match that well with smoking. So you have to create a very deep impression to audiences about the brand. What I mean is more marketing effort have to be done. I know you can never get Quitsmoking.com. But you can try other alternatives? Is QuitJuice.com the best that you can come up with? If it is so, there you go.

  3. Visit https://quitjuice.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about? I think the site is a motivational site to help a person stop smoking by sending emails, texts or something similar to the person every day.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. Starting with the opening page of your website, there appears to be numerous punctuation issues.  I would type the whole phrase of There Is, instead of “THERE’S”.  To me, it would be appear more professional written out.    I would suggest that you read through the text and add some additional commas.  Maybe clean up the text and make it read a little more professional.

At the bottom of the page where you Index is, Cancellation is spelled incorrectly as well.

Moving on to Features, I would suggest that it be reviewed for spelling as well as a more professional tone as well.

Overall the site has a very nice color scheme, it catches my eye and makes me want to read further.  I think it is organized very nicely.  The font, including size and color, is wonderful.  I am able to read through your site with no problems or issues.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like? As I have mentioned above, I feel that the site really needs to be reviewed for both spelling and punctuation issues.  I would also like to see the text read  a little more professional.    Also mentioned above, I love the color scheme, the font size, style and color.  It’s organized very nicely.

What do you think of the sign up process? The sign up process is very easy without any issues.

Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why? I, personally, would not, simply because I am not a smoker.  If I were, I would not hesitate to sign up.  I mean, anything is worth a try if you are really serious about quitting.  I fully trust the sign up process and would like to get a motivational message to remind me that I am doing the best thing!

Have you ever seen a similar site doing what we’re doing? No, I have never seen such a thing.  It’s very unique.

Do you see value in quitjuice? As a former Respiratory Therapist, I see a lot of value in QuitJuice!  With the right type of promotion, I see it becoming a very valuable tool.  I would love to have passed this site on to my patients when I was working at the hospital.  I think that it could be marketed to the American Lung Association as well!

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have. Well, I think I have pretty much covered everything in the afore-mentioned paragraphs.  I would just like to say that I really do believe this site could go far.  I would like to see it made a little more professional before it takes off, but I see a great need for this type of site, especially with the text movement that is so ever increasing popular right now.

What do you think about our color scheme? I love it.  It’s very visually aesthetic.

Is there anything lacking that would help convince you to purchase quitjuice that is not currently on the site? No.  I believe that everything is pretty much covered for helping me to make my decision.

    Good work!

  4. Visit https://quitjuice.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
You website is a website that helps people stop smoking.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
You homepage is really well done. A visitor would immediately know what your website is about.
There’s not much to say really, I think your website is good as it is.
You got a nice name, a nice logo, cool and “juicy” colours to go with your theme.
Furthermore you got a very catchy and common slogan being “Stop smoking now”, common but still effective and it goes straight to the point.
The picture of the woman is also well thought, she is actively listening to the phone and seem to be motivated by it, which is what you want to show your visitors.
The only thing I would say is the red tab for “Pricing & Sign Up”, I actually thought that I was on that page and not on the homepage… You always should highlight the page on which the visitor is, so that he/she doesn’t get lost.
You also provide a sample message and the important “cancel anytime” and “money back guarantee” that makes your website a lot less suspicious if you did not have them.
You even got facebook and tweeter. Very nice website you got.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
As said above there isn’t much to dislike.

What do you think of the sign up process?
Easy and straight forward. You are asking for basic information and do not go into too much privacy.

Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
No, because I am a smoker. If I were and wanted to stop yes I would sign up for a trial.

Have you ever seen a similar site doing what we’re doing?
No, because I am not interested in stopping smoke because I don’t smoke.

Do you see value in quitjuice?
Yes I certainly do. I believe that your website can go very far. With such a great website you only need the services to match it!

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

What do you think about our color scheme?
As said before, the colour scheme suits you perfectly. It has this “juicy and healthy” feeling to it, which is just perfect.

Is there anything lacking that would help convince you to purchase quitjuice that is not currently on the site?
You don’t really say what type of message we will get. Maybe offer a few examples? Then I would be more keen because I would know about the quality of your messages.

  5.

Visit https://quitjuice.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?

It a service which help smokers to quit smoking by giving tips or advice through phone and email. From here, your main description very clear that describing what your site is about in short which is easy for the visitor to understand what your site is about. And the place you placed the description is definitely a right place with the orange background which could first attract visitor attention.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.

First, the login link at the top right looks weird which it is the only link at the site. People usually see register and login is together at a side. At here, i suggest that you directly create a small box on the top right side allowing user to enter their email and password to login. In this way, the design looks much better and it’s more convenience for the member to login. Im going to give some suggestion on the homepage layout. The layout is simple and looks comfort. I think you can improve it to be much more interesting by changing the picture which is the women answering the phone into a short slideshows displaying how it works. you can include a step by step how it works. About 3-4 slides will be enough. First you can displaying the first step which is registration and then display the picture which related to your step with a short description on it. this will look much more interesting and professional. At the feature side, i suggest that you design a simple mind map for the explanation or number each of the features or creating a box for each feature with different color. This will look more interesting which will not bored the visitor.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like?

I dont find anything bothersome. As your page layout is simple and it’s user friendly which the navigator are very clear. It’s comfort and easy to understand what your site is about. What i like is you provide a free trial for the ‘hear a simple message’ by entering phone number. This can build confidence to the visitor toward your service. Then i like that you provide a feedback from user which is the ‘let us know what you think’ feature. This can allow people to directly question you anything that they dont understand. then you provide the cancellation and refund detail for the user. Which this really make visitor feel that you are professional on it and they can trust you.

What do you think of the sign up process?
The information required for user to fill is simple and it’s acceptable. It does not require too much info.

Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?

No,because im not a smoker. if i were a smoker and i want to stop smoking, i will sign up for it.

Have you ever seen a similar site doing what we’re doing?

So far i dont see any similar site doing this service. what i ever see from site is the selling of electronic cig that is made from electrical stuffs which does not contain any harmful effect to our body and provide the same feel of smoking the real cig.

Do you see value in quitjuice?

Yes, definitely. As your service is good helping people who smoke to quit smoking. If a smoker find that your service is really work for him, he will definitely promote it for you. So, the service that you provide to help smoker to quit smoke is very important. And you might the only one who doing this right now.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

I think i have mentioned most of it above. I like your service which is helping the public to solve their problem.

What do you think about our color scheme?

The color scheme is perfect which i feel comfort when i viewing the content on your site. Like i mentioned above, for the features category, you can add a box with few different color background in the box for different feature explanation. Which does not easily confuse the visitor.

Is there anything lacking that would help convince you to purchase quitjuice that is not currently on the site?

The thing that will make first time visitor to trust and have confidence on your service is that a testimonial from other user. There is a lots of fake testimonial out there which people usually dont believe on it. I suggest that you can create a forum for people to comment about your service. You can always add question or feedback that you want to know from the user to improve your service.

  6. Visit https://quitjuice.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
This site is about helping people to stop smoking with support via e-mail, text and phone.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
I really like that you took a bold choice and used orange as a color but it was smart being that your website as the word juice it it. I like that your homepage
is short but descriptive. The lady on the site looks as if she could be getting real support with someone through your website. Great use of tabs being that they
are few in number, colorful and easy to see. I like that moderatly used the orange color, using it as a header inside the break of color with the white.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
I really like the sample message giving people the opportunity to hear an example of what they may be possibly purchasing. I like that you put a money
back garuantee and that fact that you let people know they can cancel anytime. As I clicked on the features page I wasn’t to thrilled by the picture that
you have on it of the juice being squeezed. Instead of making me of not smoking it makes me think of fresh squeezed orange juice. The headline is above the
picture is just okay for me. I think that daily message, daily support or something along those lines would be fine. The wording at the end of that section
doesn’t seem to work with well for me, “and we squeeze the juice out of it for you, every day.” Under the personal message schedule I just don’t quit understand
the statement “when to get your juice.” The word juice in particular throws me off. Under the multiple delivery format section, I see no need to put any bold wording.
It should be obvious that you are sending them to the intended person and I think that people would clearly understand that. I must say that I really liked the
about page but it is quit a shame that little jewel of personal comfort information is sitting at the bottm of the page. People need to see that you aren’t
just talking but haven’t walked the walk. Your faqs page was simple and useful. Under the pricing page I was taken by teh fact that you list no actual prices.
I like to see what I’m paying for before I take the time to fill out my personal informatin. I have to some what retract my previous statement about pricing
being that I now see the price of 7.95. I made that statment because I barely noticed it. I like the cancellation adn refund page. It was simple and well said.
I that you use such simple and playful words on this site. I like that you can be found on a popular social networking site.

What do you think of the sign up process?
    Quick, fast and easy.
Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
Yes, and for just 8 bucks a month it would be worth a try.
Have you ever seen a similar site doing what we’re doing?
No I haven’t seen a site similar to yours. All I see is sites that are selling some kind of product.
Do you see value in quit juice.
Having a mother who smokes and can’t seem to quit I find this service very valuable.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
I would like to see some testimonials on your page somewhere. In fact if there was a mini chatting section for user only that would really
connect your customers. Somewhere on the site I would like to see some serious words as I said before at times you use such playful words.
What do you think about our color scheme?
I really like it, its beautifully done and well balanced.
Is there anything lacking that would help convince you to purchase quitjuice that is not currently on the site
    Testimonials.

  7. Visit https://quitjuice.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
I know that it is about quitting smoking by the name and the graphic.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
ok, Name of the site “Quit Juice” as part of the graphic should be bigger. The entire graphic and name should both be bigger but especially the name needs to be enlarged.  The orange color of the site is OK but If you are going for more of the juice color I imagine it to be a bit brighter. Not happy about going to the pricing tab and on that page there is nothing saying what the price is. I guess you have to sign up first?
What do you think of the sign up process?
First of all I finally found the price. It is in tiny numbers on the signup page by the acceptance button. This needs to be more prominent on the pricing page. Not “sort of hidden” here. Otherwise on the sign up after hitting the acceptance button I went to a page that had nothing on it After reloading the page it was back on track with the ordering process. I didn’t finish from here with my card number for I didn’t really want to join since I don’t smoke anymore. But all in all I thought the sign up was simple.
Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
If I still smoked I would definitely give the trial a try. It looks to be a good extra friend to help you remember that you are quitting and going to make it this time.
Have you ever seen a similar site doing what we’re doing?
No, I haven’t. I have seen other inspiration sites but none that sent reminders to you through the phone.
Do you see value in quitjuice?
Yes, as I said above, it can be that extra friend reminding you that you are quitting and going to make it this time. Espcecially since you can tell it when you need it. Like the reminder after meals that is great!

You might want to also include on your site some more information about quitting and smoking. More facts about the health concerns. Not to over due it but about 25/75  info / advertizing for your product.
What do you think about our color scheme?
As I said above the orange could be a little brighter like real orange juice. I just find it a tad dark for juice.  You could also add some other colors or not but don’t add any more orange except text.
Is there anything lacking that would help convince you to purchase quitjuice that is not currently on the site?
Just the additional info on smoking and its detrimental effects on a body.

  8. Visit https://quitjuice.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?

I think the site is about a service that helps people quit smoking by sending facts and tips by email, txt or voice message.

Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.

    1. I think the logo and especially the site/company name “Quit Juice” should be a lot larger. I really like the logo and I think the name is very original and clever but it needs to be bigger.
    2. The home page is simple and uncluttered. The information is bold and easy to read.
    3. I think you could have a more suitable picture instead of the lady on the phone. Something that actually portrays the message of quitting smoking. That picture could represent a telecommunications company or anything without the accompanying text. The three graphics of are good and show me how I can get the messages so the image should show me why I’m getting them. Maybe someone throwing a pack of cigarettes in a bin would be more suitable.
    4. Features page is clean and uncluttered which is nice. The information is displayed nicely and the picture is great. However there is a few things missing. How many messages do I get a day, week, month? And can I choose to receive them in two out of the three formats or must I only choose one type of message delivery format?
    5. FAQ page is good although I have questions that aren’t listed there and I thought they would be frequently asked ones. I like the bit at the bottom about having a question but it’s not on the FAQ page, it made me smile.

What do you find bothersome? What do you like?

    Bothersome:
    1. On the “Pricing & Signup” page it took me a while to actually find the price. It didn’t have a dollar sign so didn’t stand out. I also wanted to know what I was actually getting for that price. How many messages?
    2. I assume this is a site/company from America, if it is then maybe you should mention somewhere that currently it’s only available in ………………….. countries. Because I’m not from America and I wouldn’t want to pay and then not be able to benefit because I can’t receive the service.
    3. The curved ridge, border bits at the bottom of the orange band of color. I think clean, crisp, straight lines would look more modern and professional.
    5. I can’t find out how many messages I will receive in a day or in a month. Do the messages come everyday? Once a week?.

    Liked:
    1. Like the logo design, very clever.
    2. Money back guarantee. This makes me feel more confident that this isn’t a scam or silly txt message service but instead a serious service. It makes me believe in the service and believe that it works.
    3. That you can hear a sample message free by entering your phone number.
    4. That you can cancel anytime.
    5. That you can choose what time of the day you receive the messages.

What do you think of the sign up process?

It looks straightforward and simple. Some more payment options would be nice as I see you only currently have Visa and Mastercard. It would be good to see Paypal as a payment option as that’s widely used now days. I can’t get to step 3 of course but the other two steps are simple and I like the fact that you aren’t asking for unnecessary information.

Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?

No, only because I don’t smoke. If I did smoke however and was looking at quitting then yes I would sign up for a free trial account.

Have you ever seen a similar site doing what we’re doing?

No I haven’t seen anything exactly like this although I haven’t really looked because I’m not a smoker. I know in my country (New Zealand) we have something called Quit Line where people trying to quit can ring up and talk to someone who can offer support 24/7. I think it is a really great idea though.

Do you see value in quitjuice?

Definitely if you are trying to quit smoking because your health is priceless. If a service like this makes that bit of difference and keeps encouraging you and it results in you quitting smoking then it’s of huge value.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

Personally I don’t smoke but I have friends that do and of course I’m concerned about the effects smoking is having on their health. It would be cool to have something on your site where you can invite a friend by providing their email address and Quit Juice sends them an invite from you and a free two week trial, or week trial. I think that would be more effective than me personally saying there’s a site you should check it out.

What do you think about our color scheme?

1.I think the orange ties is great with the name and the link with juice. The other colors (grey and white) complement it well and I think it’s a nice modern color scheme that shouldn’t out date too soon.
2.There is just one or two things I don’t like though and one is the orange band of color on the home page, it looks like it’s supposed to have pulp pieces or flecks. Unfortunately they don’t stand out enough so it just looks like an orange background with a dirty computer screen. I like the idea or the orange color and the link with juice but I think just a plain nice bright juicy orange color would work best without the flecks.
    3. Also I don’t like the green box around “hear a sample message” doesn’t tie in well with the color scheme at all. A crisp granny smith apple green would look much sharper, or simply grey.

Is there anything lacking that would help convince you to purchase quitjuice that is not currently on the site?

More pricing plan options because currently you only have a monthly one. Maybe a free week or two week trial, two month plan that’s say a little cheaper than buying two one monthly plans individually. Also some more options on how many messages you receive. Maybe by paying a little more you can have the option of receiving two messages a day, or something like that. Also being able to choose a voice for the voice messages, eg. male or female.

  9. What Do You Think This Site Is About?

The website looks like its about quitting smoking – but from the title probably about the “motivation” to quit smoking.  That extra oomph …quit juice.

Now Go Back To The Site And Comment On Various Elements Of The Site:

I liked the name of the website and the logo that goes with it. Colors were easy on the eyes and the layout was clean and easy to follow. Nothing out of the ordinary or immediately weird looking. Overall ( at first glance ) it has a very nice setup.

What Do You Find Bothersome?/ What Do You Like?

As far as “Bothersome” goes, here is my feedback exactly as I thought it:

The text on the first page is a little choppy – kind of hard to follow. For example, when you say “If you only hear it once, it’s in one ear and out the next.” Instead of ‘in one ear and out the other’…. made me pause a few times just to correctly understand the whole paragraph. I do that sometimes when I’m trying to be witty and make sense at the same time – so try not to over-think it.

Is the Twitter Buzz on your website real? People can easily decipher fake feedback.

On the Features page, I appreaciate the effort you made in the right-hand paragraph to reiterate the “freshly squeezed” remark you made in the title – but it’s not necessary.  Just wittingly phrase the title “Fresh Squeezed Quit Juice” (the picture explains the rest) and then continue describing what kind of daily information you offer . But when you repeate the joke in the paragraph – it loses it’s humor…
I think your option to “sign up for quick juice” should be at the top – maybe in place of the green box. People should know that it’s a membership site and the option shouldn’t look like an afterthought.
And, while its good that you give an upfront option to cancel – the way you did it gives off the wrong message. Allow them the chance to show interest first ( bringing them to another page), let them sign up,  pay for the service, and as a closing reminder show them how they can quit if they ever choose to do so. But the first page should be about promoting your service, not ending it.

Same with the Money Back Guarantee. Push that to the bottom of the site. People want to see what your website has to offer – not what steps to take if it doesn’t.

I’m not saying hide ways for them to end the service – just don’t put plan B in the fore-front of their minds.

I liked your option to pick when to get your messages and in what format. But, because those are the main things you advertise – it makes the service seem a little lacking. People need more than a daily reminder to quit smoking – that’s why it’s so hard for them to kick it in the first place – reminders aren’t enough. On this page you might want to display some hard-hitting services . Because thus far, QuitJuice isn’t offering anything that you can’t get for free.

On the FAQ page I was a little worried about the option to sign someone else up. That could be a serious breach of privacy – and that person’s “mom” might not want to quit. Do you see the problem?  In the end , it’s another form of spam.

And the quotations on the side were neither motivational or relevant. If your viewers are anything like me, they won’t be impressed by an educated stranger’s comment on smoking. Let real testimonials and real results  be your proof.

And, you should change the last tab to simply “Sign Up” .  It’s clean, simple, and won’t make a potential customer avoid it. Your website should look like it gives more than it takes.

Do you offer a free service for people to try out? If your free methods work – you’ll have paying customers for life.

One way to determine if your service has any substance is to look at it this way : If the services don’t impress YOU it won’t impress someone else who is truly trying to kick the habit.
    My Last Peeve:
The slang on the side of the signup process was confusing – “how’s about…” and “ check this”  aren’t necessary to appear down to earth to your clients.

What Do You Think Of The Signup Process?

I thought it looked normal enough – it had all of the usual questions to get the job done. It would just be nice to see some form of a “secure” transaction guarantee next to the payment info. Identity theft is real.

Would You Sign Up For A Free Trial/Free Account? If not, Why?

No. Because the only service that was offered was a daily reminder not to smoke. Friends and family do that for free.

Have You Ever Seen A Similar Site Doing What We’re Doing?

Yes. But, all other sites offered more.

Do You See Value In QuiteJuice?

To be honest – if it was strictly a “motivational quotes” kind of website then ABSOLUTELY. QuitJuice would have served it’s purpose in that respect – because all it offers is a rub on the shoulder and not a push in the right direction .

Please Share Any Additional Feedback/Comments You Might Have:

I think this site has such amazing potentia – but if you truly care about helping smokers quit then you need to show it more. Do your research and see what other “quit smoking” sites are offering…. and then ask yourself ” how can i do that – but better“. This website has such a lack in real information that it almost comes off as a fake way to make money off of a real need.

What Do You Think About Our Color Scheme?

The layout is great – i was immediately attracted to the site. But again…. more services, please.
For even more visitors you could offer help for friends or family members of non smokers – and advice on how to help their loved one.  Just don’t give them the option to sign people up on their own like in your FAQS!

Or offer your viewers a database of locations near them that help smokers quit.

Start a forum of smokers trying to quit – or blog on how YOU quit (or someone you know).

The daily reminders should be a small part of the bigger picture. Not the main frame.

If you have a real passion for it – it will show!

Is There Anything Lacking That Would Help Convince You To Purchase QuitJuice That Is Not Currently On The Site?

If I were a smoker, the only thing that would make me want to purchase QuitJuice is if you offered personalized help – like a “QuitBuddy” or something. Someone that has quit before or is a expert in rehabilitation…..or something.

And prizes for being a quitter – like an incentive for quitting 6 months straight. Or a giveaway for quitting for a year. I mean, the site is about motivation, right? So, motivate me!

    And on an unrelated Topic:

If this were my website I’d make my logo something like :  QuitJuice….. when quitting gets you ahead.

  10. Thanks for the links – but it’s not necessary.

I wish you the best with your website and hope those studies are right for your sake.

  11. Visit https://quitjuice.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
I thought it was a gimmick to help you quit smoking.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
The layout and color scheme is excellent.  The pricing and signup page turned me completely off.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
The pricing and signup page.  As a smoker, a reminder of how much money you spend does not promote you to quit.
What do you think of the sign up process?
I have a problem with signing up and then a guarantee of cancelling hassle free.  A little gun shy.
Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
I would sign up with a free trial if I did not have to enter my credit card information.
Have you ever seen a similar site doing what we’re doing?
    No
Do you see value in quitjuice?
The mode is delivery is new and  that captured my attention

  12. Hi MSoses,

Thanks for the feedback. Hey, I really don’t want to look like a “gimmick” hope I can resolve that.

About your comments on the signup page:

Can you explain why a guarantee of cancelling hassle free is a turn off? I would think that it would make it easier to try it knowing that if it’s not to your liking you can get out easily.

    Thanks!
