First action was to click on those Play buttons to hear.  It’s simply curiosity because this Homepage is listed with all the voices from users.2) Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
The next step i did was to look at ‘How it works’, kind of disappointed over that page to see 3 Easy Steps! as i was trying to find out more on the objective or usage of this RantRally. However, the Testimonials gave me some ideas of it, and i signed up for a try.Â

I would rather use Youtube and fb as social networking tools, to share more stuff with people rather than just only voice. Most of those media are with subjects or comments for a glance before you decide to go further to watch or to read. With voice only, you probably need to know who is the person, click and listen one-by-one in order, just too much actions.

1) My initial impression is WOW!!! I have never seen anything like this!! The page is bright with the orange color it pops with your eyes. The pictures of the people posted is also a great asset. I immediately wanted to click on the big listen buttons anxious to hear what these people had to say. To see if you could actually hear people clearly and what exactly did they say.
2) They said sign up in the right hand side of the page. I think that it should have been more out there. Maybe larger to be seen, and I think that they should of had more information on what exactly is going on, and the purpose. Maybe even a FAQ page would be great for this site. Seeing as how I have never heard of this, and I am pretty sure that others have not heard of it either. If that is the case, then there is going to be tons of questions being asked that is just not on the page. And some people would like answers along with testimonials to give them a since of secure knowledge before they decide if they are going to use the site or not.
3) I think that it is on a different level. I do not think that it will be used as much as facebook or twitter. Some people are better typists/writers than speakers. I do not see people updating voice messages as much as they update statuses on facebook and twitter. It has the ability to be successful in its own rights I can see that.
4) I think it needs more advertisement. People will not use it and it will not become big like twitter if it is not known to the public. It also just needs more user information on the page. People are very skeptical within their rights this world can be scary, so they need knowledge. Knowledge is power. The more you know, the more comfortable you will become, and the more likely you will use it on a regular basis. And they will refer others to use it as well. More advertisement, more information, maybe a lil more color and graphics, and maybe even a nice catchy phrase or slogan to go along it would be good for marketing purposes….over all I would say this is a nice little tool to have. very cool.
1. First impression was that the web page seemed very clean and clear. I didn’t have an over-whelming desire to click on anything, mainly because it wasn’t grouped into categories, it was just everything listed in one big group.
2. If I could have seen what I was signing up for, such as the types of rants that people had posted and not just who posted it and what they called it, then I think I would be interested in signing up for a trial.
3. I think it’s quite different from other sites like Twitter and Facebook, which is what makes it a pretty cool site, I would just like to see more categorizing.
4. I was more inclined to click on the rants that had a title or a description. I would suggest requiring one of those if someone wants to post a rant.
