About Rent Jungle:
Rent Jungle (https://www.rentjungle.com/), launched in October, 2010, is the most comprehensive rental listing site on the web. It works much like other search engines in that it scours the internet to amass apartment listings from a variety of sites. Unlike other search engines, Rent Jungle specializes only in apartments and rental housing. Users can search, sort and bookmark individual listings, as well as save them for later use. Users can also view listings on an innovative user-friendly map, powered by Google. Rent Jungle was founded to fill a void in the online real estate market by offering a simple, easy-to-use directory and one-stop-shop destination for renters.
When I go to RentJungle.com, I assume that it is about Renting a house, and that you search through listings.
Bothersome – I am not a fan of the green color used here. A lighter green would seem more upbeat and contemporary.
I think your homepage is lacking social media content.
The compare rent feature seems like a great idea.
It looks like your social media features are at the bottom of your “browse” page beneath the states and then the cities. I think you should have these buttons on your homepage. I would think they would be overlooked at the bottom of this page.
Q. Visit https://www.rentjungle.com. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?A. Finding a place to stay at a good price
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site. A. The home page gets RIGHT to the point so that the searcher isn’t wasting any time. Which is wonderful. The browse section is wonderful with all of the specification functions on the left hand side. The favorites section is good because you don’t actually have to be signed up to the site to have your favorite locations saved. The compare section is pretty crafty, and is very useful. I haven’t seen that anywhere else. The moving section has ALOT of useful tips. In the market trends section, along with more very useful tips they is also relevant news. When it comes to the about section, to be honest I never read them on websites. And in this case, i will be so caught up in how great the service of the webpage is, I won’t be too worried about the “about” page.
Q. What do you find bothersome? What do you like? A. Absolutely nothing. This site is great at what it does. A2. I like the website alot i feel like its complete and someone put their time into it.
Q. What do you think of the sign up process? I didn’t even have to sign up because the site linked my facebook to the database so that i could save my favorites. It was quick and painless.
Q. Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why? A. No. Im not looking to have my apartment room rented.
Q. How do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like craigslist.com? A. Its definitely better looking than Craigslist. Which is rather plain.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have. A. The random monkey photos while the page loads are HILARIOUS! LOL or… maybe i just like monkeys alot…

This site seems to be a website where you can search for various rental properties in different locations.
Now go back to the site and comment on various elements of the site.
I like the layout of the website and the fact that you can narrow down your search based on bedrooms, rent price, features etc. I also like the compare rent feature.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
The only thing I would change would be to add a little more color, it feels a little plain and color always spices things up. Besides what I already mentioned, I like the fact that when you click on a property, it opens the information about that property in a separate window. That is very helpful because you don’t lose your spot while you’re searching (if you are on page 10 and you don’t get kicked back to page 1 after viewing a property), it also makes it so you don’t have to hit the back button a lot. Also, I like the ‘walk score’. I live in an area that has a lot of good places to walk to and seeing a walk score really helps to determine if the apartment is near these accessible places.
What do you think of the sign up process?
I did not sign up for the website
Would you sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
Not right now, I am not currently looking to rent a new apartment or rent out my apartment.
How do you think the site compares to other similar sites/competitors like craigslist.com?
I’m a large fan of Craigslist but since Craigslist is not focused solely on rentals, Rent Jungle is better organized and is more aesthetically appealing.

Great site!
