  1. 1) Look around the home page-what is your initial impression of what you see?

My initial impression was it needed more color, the page didn’t really pop out at me.  It looked just a little bland. I also felt like wow, it’s a lot going on here but after slowly going through it I understood what it was the site was trying to say. The watch before you buy videos are a good concept and I liked the freebie coffee offer. There are a couple different parts of your site that I also liked, the Announcements where I found the What’s Youtube Video ID? informative and I especially liked the trailer I watched of one of my favorite movies, I also watched some of the videos as well.

I was looking for some further information like the FAQ’s and the how does it work and didn’t find it until I just for the heck of it clicked the Terms of Use button and that’s where I found the information I was searching for. That was a issue for me because I usually would not click that button until I was ready to use your site. So really up until the last few moments before leaving the site all my questions were not answered. Maybe if the site could have buttons at top to click that actually said FAQ, How it Works etc…

2)Think of something you want to find on the website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was it confusing?

I put in several inquires and got no one posted, I am Michigan and that’s the city used in the drop down. Some items I requested came up but they were older postings. Looking up items was not confusing at all. It was easy and simple to do.

3)Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe  sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?

I would consider signing up with Shopvido.com if I needed to sell/buy something. I would think twice though because of the fact that after searching for items in Michigan I received several no posting messages. It seems as though Michigan isn’t really a major participant with Shopvido.com.

4)What can the website do for you to sign up and join?

If the listings were updated on a regular basis I would sign up/join.

5)Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

All in all I think Shopvido.com is a good site. The concept of looking at a video opposed to a picture to buy/sell something is a excellent idea. I think that the way to get more information out to the visitor is to have a section at the top or sides with the FAQ’s, How it works, Who uses Shopvido.com etc..People should be able to see it, not have to click the Terms button to see it. As I said if I had not clicked it just because I would not have found what I was looking for. You have a statement that says “Record and sell your products under 1 minute”. I believe it’s misleading because some might take that statement literally. Add a little more eye appeal and this site will be a A+.
