  1. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.)
    none

Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
The site is about investigating and finding the right skis for your needs, comparing results and finding where to purchase.

Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?
The process is simple enough, I think anyone could understand.  However, when you get to the preferences, I feel some terms are a little vague for a beginner such as myself.  Some terms were semi-explained, but I feel they could have been more in depth about surfaces and terrains.

On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality?
The layout seems good, the page functions well as in all of the pertinent info is there, such as name, where to buy, the basic uses for the ski and the percentage of match.  The picks options at the top are nice in that you can go immediately to the next pick to check out the choices.

What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?
I think the concept is good, especially for the novice skier who has no knowledge of ski types.  Facets of the program are impressive such as:  Knowing that by inputting just a few basic pieces of info that you can get several recommendations.

Do you find the website/service useful?
I feel that the website is extremely useful for the novice skier.  It could be useful for more experienced skiers as well based on the fact that they could easily find what they may be looking for and where to purchase.

What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?
Again, some of the terminology could have been explained better, this is just based on my having no knowledge of skiing.  On the results page, it has the ability symbols shown but no explanation of what they mean, those were on the previous page.  Other than that, the site seems well put together.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
The idea is strong and I think it would probably be beneficial to skiers in general, definitely saving time in searching for the right pair of skis.  Good luck.

  2. 1. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the industry?
Limited knowledge. I have been to a few resorts and taken a couple of lessons.
    2. What do you think the site is about?
Based on just a few seconds on the homepage I would believe the site is devoted to helping people find the perfect ski equipment for their needs.
    3. What did you think of the process? (For finding skis)
I liked that the process asked questions, including what level of ability I had. This made me feel more confident that I was going to end up with a useful recommendation and not just a sales pitch. When the result did populate I was happy with the description and how well it was broken down.
    4. What do you think about the concept of the website?
I thought the concept was really great. I remember going in to the resort and being overwhelmed and the number of options available, and all the terminology had confused me.
    5. Do you find the website/ service useful?
Yes, I think for a skier who is relatively new this could be very useful. I also think it would be useful for those who are going to ski in another region.
    6. What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?
The site was simple to use and not confusing. If I had to add anything it would be more comprehensive explanations behind some of the terms. While the site gives an option for a beginner, they may not understand ‘Frontside, Groomers, Off-Piste’ etc. I can see this as being scary to someone who doesn’t know, and could lead them away from the site.
    7. Please share any additional feedback
This site looks great as is. I think a little tweaking is all that would be needed. Links that work to the recommended product(s) would also be helpful. When I clicked the link to take me to a site where the ski was on sale, I got an error message.

  3. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.) None.
Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about? Just briefly visiting this site, I think it to be about skiing equipment, maybe somehow matching my skiing must have’s to the proper equipment.
Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process? The process was actually quite fun.  I simply entered in a few brief details about myself and within a few seconds, I was matched with the ski’s that would be most beneficial to my needs.  Very easy.
On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality? Overall, it was good.  I kind of feel like the summary located at the bottom could have been more beneficial to me to be displayed above the large display of “My Picks”.   However, I do think the display is very thorough and attractive.  It instantly catches my eye!
What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive? I sure found it to be impressive.  As someone with no knowledge of the skiing industry, if I were looking for skiing equipment, this is exactly the type of information I would require.  It’s very beneficial to the novice, but also I think it would be something the most knowledgeable skier could benefit from.
Do you find the website/service useful? Absolutely!
What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve? Nothing really confuses me about your site, but somehow I think it would be a little more beneficial to see the explanation of your site on the landing page instead of a thorough explanation on the About page.
On the About page, I really don’t find the large banner Amazon ad very attractive.  It might be better placed at the bottom of the page.

  4. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.)
None except for watching the ski events on the Olympics
Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
The site is about finding the correct ski equipment for you
Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?
Most of the questions were easy to understand, however, I didn’t understand the last question, “How do you plan to use your skis”?  If I was a avid skier, that would make sense.  I also did not know what you needed to know where I was going to ski because I did not see the location where I would ski.
On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality?
The results page looks good.  It gives me all the information needed to make an informed decision on the skis to buy.  It explains why these are the skis for me and even have a place to purchase them all on one page.  Its like one stop shopping!
What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?
I think this is a creative site especially for a beginner who is just starting to ski. It has all the information need, but maybe an explanation of some of the questions to ensure that I am picking the correct skis.  For example how I was going to use the skis.
Do you find the website/service useful?
I think that this site would be very useful for someone just beginning and researching the best kind of equipment that they would need.  I also like the SG live page.  It gives reviews of  the top equipment and the reviews of them.  This information can be useful beginners to advanced skiers.
What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?
I was confused on the questionnaire and on the last question, which did not make any sense to me.  I am sure if you have skied before, it would make sense to that person.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
I think maybe an FAQ area that might explain some of the questions in the questionnaire.  That would be helpful to the novice skier.  Also on the about us section, maybe introduce yourself a little more.  Make it a little more personable.  You are a skier and a former ski racer, maybe a little more about the owners.

  5. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.)
I have only sort of skiied before, but I am interested in learning to do so seriously someday.

Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
It looks like a recommendation for ski equipment, specifically skis. It seems to judge the best pair of skis for you based on your physique and preferences. Sounds like a great idea.

Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?
The process was smooth and broke things down appropriately. My only minor issue was that, as a new skiier, I didn’t know what the last options meant. It explained the different types of skis and what they’re good for, but I don’t know what off-piste or frontside mean or why they’re relevant.

On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality?
The page looks nice. It would be nice if there were more than a maximum of 5 options, but the layout is attractive and informative without being cluttered. It’s easy to understand what’s going on, and there’s a lot of useful data included.

What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?

I think it’s a pretty great idea. More products should have something like this, especially for beginners and intermediate people.

Do you find the website/service useful?
The site has opened my eyes to a variety of considerations about skis I never knew existed, so I would say it definitely is useful.

What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?
As I said, I don’t know what off-piste or frontside mean in skiing terms. I can guess, but it would be dumb to make a purchase based on a guess. You did so well explaining things everywhere else on the site, but you missed the boat on that one.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
Overall, I’m quite impressed with the site. The page feels like a ski page, from the color scheme on up. The options are sparse but plenty functional. There’s no confusion as to where to go or what to do. Well done.

  6. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.)

I have never gone skiing, but would like to.
Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?

The site is about finding the right skis if you are going skiing.
Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?

I like the process. It seems as if the right questions were asked and there was some explanation pertaining to ski usage locations. It was a little vague, but I think enough to get an idea of what you are asking.
On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality?

I like the video about the skis and the pricing information of the skiis chosen. That was a nice touch.
What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?

I like the concept. It was a great idea and unique, I believe.
Do you find the website/service useful?

I find this service extremely helpful, as I would have not idea how to pick the right skiis being a first time skiier.
What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?

On the about page you list Alex and Joe as the contacts, but above that you say that you should contact Alex for more information. Why? Can we contact Joe as well? His name and email are there. I would either remove that sentence or add his name to it. I would also have a toll-free number listed. People are hesitant to call unless there is a toll-free number.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

I would add a little more color to the site. I love the color blue, but there is a lot of it. Otherwise, great idea!

  7. 1. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the industry?
Limited knowledge. I have taken a couple of lessons.
    2. What do you think the site is about?
Based on just a few seconds on the homepage I think that it is guide for skiers.
    3. What did you think of the process? (For finding skis)
I don’t like the process because i think that the interface is a little confused with too many images, but it works excellently.

    4. What do you think about the concept of the website?
I thought the concept was great. Other similar sites are more confused and of difficult use, but this is very easy  and with only one button you can do everything.
    5. Do you find the website/ service useful?
Yes, I think that  for a skier this could be very useful.
    6. What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?
The aspect of the site that confused me was the IMAGES.There are too many images with a low quality. I think that the site will be fantastic with a better graphic.
    7. Please share any additional feedback
At the and i can say that it is a great site. I think a little change of the images is all that would be needed.

  9. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.)
I don’t ski and am not familiar with the industry.
Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
This site is about linking the skier with the best equipment for him or her.
Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?
The “find skis” button was very easy to find at the top of the page and the first page of information was very easy to follow. I like how detailed it with the asking of the height, weight and age. The second page was also very easy to follow. I really like the breakdown when asked what type of skiing your looking for. I liked the shapes when asked about your skiing level and I also enjoyed the skiing pictures at the bottom. Pictures and diagrams keep the consumer visually interested as I was. The process was short and simple. I would have to say that I liked the results page the most. The box was jam packed with information such as: matching percentage, 1-5 picks, pictures of the skies, design measurement etc. For a person who doesn’t ski I thought the process would be much harder. Your website really stream lined the process and mad it non-intimidating for the novice and just plain easy for the professional.
On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality?
As I stated before this step in finding skis was the most enjoyable. The layout of the page was fine. It had simple colors constantly maintaining the blue in the website. You delivered a lot on information in an easy to read fashion. I think the tabs were a great idea because otherwise to have all that information on one page would just be to much for a person to filter through. The only thing I would change about the layout is the bottom part of the page. You have to scroll so far down to see the information below. I just think that page need to brought up just below the picture of the skis.
What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?
I thought the concept of the website is fine. You presented a lot of information in an easy to follow fashion.
Do you find the website/service useful?
    Yes.
What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?
Nothing about the process was confusing. I like the concept of the website but I think it needs to look more upscale. The picture logo, the mountains at the top of page could all be more crisp. The pictures of the skis were crisp, clean a vivid. The SG Live page was quit boring. Good information but could be delivered in a more lively fashion. I like the blue and how you want to keep that constant but I think more colors need to be added. Possibly different shades of blue if you don’t want to stray far from your original color. You have a great website but I think it needs to be stepped up a little more, the graphics on the page seem very elementary. Great site!

  10. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? None.
What do you think the site is about?
I like the layout and design.  It’s colorful without being too busy or hard on the eyes.  When it first opened, the site came off (to me) as being about skiing or ski resorts.  After glancing around for the allotted time, I could tell the site was similar to a search engine, only it was specifically geared towards finding ski recommendations.
Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?
The colors, images and layout of the page were nice.  The form was easy to use and the results were quick.  It was nice that the different parts of the questionnaire were separated because it didn’t overcrowd the page and make it confusing.
My only issue with the questionnaire is on Step 2.  When you are asked “What type of ski are you looking for?” … the text below there, where it gives a description, is a light gray and somewhat hard to read.  I would make it either a dark gray or a different color (dark) all together.
What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?
I think it’s a rather nice concept.  It helps people find something that they need in a way that’s easy to understand and use.
Do you find the website/service useful?
Yes, I found it very useful.
What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?
In my opinion, there was nothing confusing about the site.  Overall it’s an easy to use site that is clear in it’s concept.
The only recommendation for improvement that I have is the one I mentioned above concerning Step 2 of the questionnaire.  I would darken the text to make it easier to read.

  11. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.)

I have never been skiing, but I go snowboarding.

Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?

I like the logo of the Genie holding the skis. That is the first thing that grabs my attention and I like it. I also like the background picture. It does with what the site is about and it is a nice touch.

The colors you used are good. I like the blue and white and I like how the site isn’t cluttered at all.

Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?

I think the process is simple and easy to use, especially for a beginner. I think the first pick and so one is a great tool for the beginner because they can choose which one they want.

I did notice that some only have one pick and that isn’t going to help a lot of people. People want choices. Especially for advance people who ski.

Overall, I think the process is easy to use and very user friendly.

On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality?

I like the layout. It is very easy to navigate. I also like how some results have videos. I think that is a great tool. Another feature that I like is that you have all the picks at the very bottom as well so if you know what you are looking for, you can click on the ski instead of going through all the picks.

Anyone will be able to navigate this page, even if they have no knowledge about skiing.

What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?

I think this is a great application for beginners or people who are not advanced in skiing. It is great for people who do not know what kind of to buy or what kind of skiis that would help.

I am not sure if an advanced person would find this site useful because they might already know the skiis that they want or is very knowledgeable that they would know what they are looking for or what they need.

However, it is a good application for wanting a quick result without all the shopping and comparing.

Do you find the website/service useful?

Since I do not ski, I would find this useful because I would have no clue of the type of skis I would use. I think it is a great idea and concept.

I also like the pictures that you used in the questionnaire. Some people might not know the difference in the type of snow they will be skiing on and the pictures help clarify what you are talking about.

What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?

I wouldn’t say that this site confused be but I thought I would be able to browse skiis instead of just having them recommended to me. I think recommending skiis is a great concept but I want to browse the different skis as well.

You should be able to browse the different skis that you can get as well.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

I like the about us section that explains why you have this site and what your goal is. I think that is important.

  12. Thank you for the feedback aggiep.  I agree that it is important to continue to help new skiers better understand the terminology.  We will on improving the library of definitions with future iterations of the program.

  13. Hi Deb – Glad your visit to our site had a personal feel.  As you mention, the site is supposed to be a helpful tool and not a sales pitch.  I added pictures to the “Frontside” and “Off-Piste” options to try and visually express that “Frontside” means groomed terrain and “Off-Piste” references powder and variable conditions.  In reference to your comment about the links, we will continue to troll for dead links.  SkiGenie provides its customers with direct links to the recommended product and occasionally, a product is out of stock.

  14. Vanity,
I appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback on SkiGenie.  While we tried not to clutter the Homepage, I understand your wish for more information and personal feel on the page similar to the about page.  We want to convey the message that SkiGenie is a resource for skiers by skiers.
    Thanks for the review.

  15. mikib,
Thanks for the feedback.  I designed SkiGenie because the industry is overflowing with cumbersome gear guides that don’t answer the question of why a ski is right for you!  You got it, efficient one stop shopping.  I am interested to know a little bit more about what you mean by questions to ensure one is picking the right ski?  Are you referencing that you doubted your understanding of some of the terminology?  I agree that our customers should have no hesitations about the answers provided to generate the recommendations.
    Cheers.

  16. ChuckChuck,
Thanks for the review.  You mention that seeing more matches would be helpful.  I agree that this would enhance the customer experience, but it also may dilute the power of making the BEST recommendations in lieu of a datadump.

  17. Shae,
Thanks for the feedback.  I appreciate your comments on the About page, a toll-free number is a good idea but seems unnecessary at this point.  The site mentions that Alex is the contact for partnerships, advertising and promotions.  It’s fine to contact either person for other questions/requests.

  18. Hi Alessandro,
Which images are you referring too?  The questionaire only has 2 images and the results page only has the ski image?

  19. Hi Latasha,
Thank you for the feedback.  Its important to know that we are on the right track.

  20. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.)
I love to ski! I have been skiing for nine or ten years.
Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
SkiGenie is a search engine to help skiers quickly find skis. Apparently this is accomplished based on your physical attributes and preferences. This looks like it is a rather quick and easy process.

Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?
I felt the process was straight forward and easy to use. I like the fact the results return simple to understand, detailed information on each ski the search returns based on the data you input.
On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality?
The layout is easy on the eyes, using tabs to denote the various selections the search engine returns. The descriptions of the skis under each tab is informative and detailed without being overwhelming. If the user needs more information you can call the shop where the skis are sold or use the “Ask A Question” button below the results to send an email fast. featured at the bottom of the results page is a comparison chart to make the selection process even easier.
What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?
Yes. The program is easy to use, free of clutter. It does what it is supposed to do, matching the person to the right skis and explains plainly why the ski is right for you in the “Description” section of the results.
Do you find the website/service useful?
Yes. The service makes shopping for skis easier. The website is easily navigated and caters to the ski enthusiast.
What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?
The site is not confusing, it’s rather straightforward and easy to use. Perhaps the owner of the site can include a picture of him/ herself on the “About” page, users will feel more connected this way. SG Live! needs a little more content, it feels “naked”.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
I think SkiGenie is an informative site with alot of potential. Keep up the good work.

  21.

What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.) m
Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about? I am not familiar with skiing. What I got out of quickly scanning the site for a few seconds is that skigenie.com finds skis for you no matter what level you are at.
Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process? I thought that the questions asked were reasonable. I filled it out to the best of my ablilities being at the very new beginner stage.
On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality? I love the face that not only did it give ypu suggestions of the beat ones to purchase but it gave you a total of five to choose from.  The layout was very orderly allowing the customer to easily select the tabs at the top of the suggestion picks.  I loved the fact that the picks had a description of why that particular choice was chosen for you.
What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive? I think that this concept is very smart especially if you are a novice to the sport. I think that the program is basically a virtual shop assistant to the customer.
Do you find the website/service useful? Yes the service is very helpful to beginners.
What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve? Since I would be considered a beginner the only thing that confused me was the ski lingo that I’m not familiar with.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have If I was to go skiing in the future I would definitely choose this website to help me purchase skis if I decided to not rent them.

  22. Yes, I had a hard time understanding the worded of the last question.  I just radomly moved the curser.  I am sure that if I had an understanding of ski’s, then I would not have a problem.  However any beginner might not have an understanding of the terminalogy.  I hope that helps.  Thanks

  23. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.)
I ski once in while, but not often.

Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
I think it helps people find the skis that fit them by using physical attributes and their preferences to narrow selections down, like a ski search engine.

Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?

The process was quick and easy to understand, which is nice.

On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality?
The layout is simple and clear, and it is quite easy to look at all of the results. I also like that when you hover over the names of your results, a picture of the skis pops up.

What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?
I think that the idea is a novel one, and I am honestly surprised that nobody thought of it before this. The program is quite impressive, and I will definitely recommended this to my friends.

Do you find the website/service useful?
This service is incredibly useful, and I plan to utilize it as well as tell my friends about it so they can use it.

What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?
I would perhaps shrink the main result, as when the results page first appears, it seems like you only get one result, because you have to scroll down so far. Perhaps have the list of results shrunk and listed vertically, off to the side.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.
This is an amazing idea, and the website is super easy too use overall. Keep up the good work.

  24. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.)
I do not ski and I really do not know much about the industry.

Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?

The site is about matching the right ski equipment to the right person.

Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?

I think the process was easy and went into detail that you would need to know in order to find the perfect match of skies.  I liked that it asked questions such as height, weight, and age and location of skiing.  These type of questions show that your site’s goal is to match the client to the right set of skies.  I also find it useful for the first time skier.  A lot of first time users make mistakes with buying the wrong type of equipment.

On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality?

I like the layout and the functionality of the “Results” page.  I also like how at the bottom of the page, it shows the companies in which the client can buy their recommended skies from.  I also like how you state percentages per ski that is recommended.  This page is very easy to understand and navigate.

What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?

I think the concept is great!!  This site is very useful for skiers and most importantly to the first time skiers.  I feel this program is very impressive.

Do you find the website/service useful?

As I stated above, I have never skied but if I ever do plan on taking a skiing trip, I would use your site.  I feel this site is very useful.

What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve?

There is no part of the site that confuses me.  The only thing that I like to see on the site is other equipment recommended such as skiing outfits.  Being a first time skier, I have no idea what I need to wear exactly or if there is other equipment that I would need in order to go skiing.  I know your site is based on “skies”, but I think you can gain more clients if there were other options then just skies.  If I was to go skiing for the first time, I would like to be able to purchase everything from one site.

Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have.

As I stated above, I would recommend other products such as outfits, etc.  When a person puts in their height and weight, a proper suit to appear would be nice.

I think also you should have something such as “terms of services” on your site.  I think it needs to state this site is for “recommendation only”.  The reason I say that is because you don’t want someone to purchase skies for your service and something should happened to them and they turn around and blame your company or site.

Another idea would be to have “customer comments” on your site.  It helps others to want to go through your site when they read comments from other clients.  I always go to the comments page when I am looking to use a site’s services.

A “F&Q” would be very useful.  That way the most common questions are answered with just a click away.

I think your site looks professional.  It is easy to understand and navigate.  I think your service is a great idea.

  25. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.)
    none
Visit https://skigenie.com. Spend no more than 15 seconds on the home page. What do you think the site is about?
    Recommending skis to individulas.
Click the “Find Skis” button and perform a sample search by completing the questionnaire. What did you think of the process?
I found it to be a detailed way to look into skis that were meant specifically for me.
On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality? I liked the layout of the page, not only did it describe my skis, but the level theyb were meant for and why.
What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?
I found the program impressive, especially since I am a novice and have very little idea into what I would be looking for. this made me very comfortable in making a purchase of this kind.
Do you find the website/service useful?
If i was a skier this would be an incredibly useful site.
What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve? There wasn’t anything confusing about the site, the only thing I would do differently would be a link directly to where to purchase skis

  26. Hi Sierra12346,
Creative feedback, I appreciate it. Expanding the product offerings will definitely be in the plans. In the future, SkiGenie will be able to pick out the perfect “suit” for you. Comments and FAQ are great suggestions. I’m glad the program was a friendly experience for beginners. Now we just have to find you the suit to match the new skis. See you out on the slopes.

  27. Hi Erkn,
Thanks for the feedback.  Please tell your friends about it!  Also, you can become a fan on facebook here: https://tinyurl.com/2dvhfc5 .  We continue to refine the program logic, but unfortunately, sometimes there aren’t “lots” of recommendation for odd queries or less popular criteria.  I’ll be sure to pass your frustration along to the manufacturers.  Again, thanks for the great feedback.

  28. What is your level of familiarity with skiing and/or the ski industry? (e.g. None, I ski often, etc.) I am moderately familiar with the skiing.

On Step 3, the “Results” page, comment on the layout and functionality? The layout is precise in its summary of submitted data and gives thorough details on the 5 recommendations.
What do you think about the concept of the website, a Ski Recommendation application? Is the program impressive?
Do you find the website/service useful? The program is impressive, unique, and time reserving for those searching for skis.
What aspect of the site confused you? What would you improve? I would remove the word “engine” in the main title on the home page; upon first glance I thought the site was the introduction of a new search engine.
Please share any additional feedback/comments you might have. I like the site.
