A ‘superficial’ submission that does not add value, is not thorough (i.e. written in a hurry, with poor grammar, punctuation etc.) and does not offer any constructive feedback is not particularly helpful and will therefore be rejected.

I like that it is very easy to figure out what this site is for after immediately landing on the home page. I also love the picture showing a couple excited as they are looking down at the prices and comparisons.

    2) Any ideas how could we increase conversion rate?
I think it would be great to see a “Live Chat” link somewhere so I could immediately chat with someone if I had questions. I think for the most part, you pretty much have everything that is needed.

3 ) Should we add slider to https://smartfinance.fi/ homepage?
I think adding a slider would definitely be helpful.

    4) What is the very first thing you feel encouraged to click? Can you explain why?
The first thing I would want to click on is the “Loan Comparison” at the top because I believe the main purpose of this site is to get a quick loan with comparisons.

I think it would also be helpful if you have a section with Testimonials/Customer Reviews. This would help us in knowing that the site is legitimate and trustworthy. .

  2. 1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?

At first look I felt the homepage was too busy. There was a lot of information in one place. However, after reviewing the page a little more what I thought to be too much was actually very helpful. I liked that as I scrolled down the page the top toolbar moved down also.

I opened the orginial website as well as the English translated one. On both pages it feels as though the comparison chart is being cut off by the end of the page. Also the Logos of the other companies at the bottom of the page appear to take up a significant amount of room. This might be fixed by making them slightly smaller.

    2) Any ideas how we could increase the conversion rate?

I’m not sure how you could increase the conversion rate.

    3) Should we add slider to https://smartfinance.fi/ homepage?

I do not feel that a slider is necessary because the top tool bar already moves as you scroll down the page. I feel as thought a slider would make the page to busy. If you were to add a slider then I would make the top toolbar stationary.

    4) What is the very first thing you feel encouraged to click? Can you explain why?

The first thing that I find myself wanting to click on is the loan comparison page. As a consumer I would want to know who is offering the best rates. That being said I might not choose that lender solely based on rate. Other factors would contribute to the my selection such as customer service and honesty in pricing.

Overall I feel that the website is inviting and helpful.

  3. 1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see? Here is a Google Translated version/ of the site in English for your reference.

Initial impression is positive. The paragraph explaining the site is descriptive of what is being offered. The screenshot of the chart on the right is eye catching and clearly shows what to expect when using this site. I like having the information at the bottom that gives proof of success. The logos of the financial institutions that are part of the comparisons gives a concise, yet interesting, idea of the companies compared.

    2) Any ideas how could we increase conversion rate?

Unfortunately I’m not entirely sure what this question refers to. I’m assuming this is referencing how to get people to actually use the service and apply for loans after visiting. I think the layout and explanation of ease of use is fairly compelling. The only item I may suggest is a brief list of steps or info needed to do the loan apps which might illustrate better how simple and useful this product would be to the consumer.

3 ) Should we add slider to https://smartfinance.fi/ homepage?

I don’t think a slider would necessarily change people’s use of the site.

    4) What is the very first thing you feel encouraged to click? Can you explain why?

I just had to click on the loan comparison button to see the chart. The people’s expressions and the teaser of how the chart worked were intriguing. I was not disappointed when I went to that page. The layout of options were great. The ability to easily do a one click narrowing down of the various components was especially nice. It was helpful to have succinct descriptions for each financial institution and then have the ability to easily apply for a loan that fit my parameters.

This is a great advertisement for your business. It is eye catching with sufficient explanation.
