I added a comment on “Asheboro Zoo” experience. Its very easy to navigate and to find the categories of the experiencex.
Add your own experiences. Feel free to invite friends or share your experiences with friends or family.
I added an experience on the Travel category. I called It “Marka Valliey Trek – India”, and I even added a photo of a ladakhi traditional house. It was very simple and easy to create.
How is the setup/registration process?
The registration process is very simple. The whole system is very easy to navigate. I registare to the site in 2 minutes, and I waited to the reply email for 2 minutes. It was a very quick process.
How do you feel about the overall site?
I think the whole site is genius. I meant, the idea of the site is genius – people all over the world publish thier good and bad experirnces. I have been surfing this site for more than 15 minuts…
Would you recommend this site to a friend or family member?
Maybe. But I think this site won’t be enough interesting for them – they dont have enough time to surf in the internet for fun (like me :D) . But I will recomend it to some friends that like websites like this one.
How can the site be improved?
I cant think on one thing bad. The site is good looking with a very nice colors and design. The signup process is very simple, It is vey easy to add an experience – and it also very easy to add a comment on someone else experience.
This site is built well!
What is the primary benefit the site would give you?
The site can show me an experiences, and I can decide that I want to have this experience too. For example – I saw that someone post experiences about a zoo. I saw the pictures and it seems to be a wonderful zoo, I think maybe I will go to visit it.
How would you feel if you could no longer use Sprightlife?
I would be a little bit disapointed… It is a amazing site and it will be sad if it will be close. Keep it open please! 😀

I browsed an experience by Philip Reid. He talked about a UGA Home Football Game. I read his entry and viewed his photos. This has the feeling of a blog. Question to Sprightlife: What does sprightlife do to set itself apart from any ordinary blog?
Add your own experiences. Feel free to invite friends or share your experiences with friends or family.
Done.
How is the setup/registration process?
Confusing (to find the link). On the homepage, I was looking for a “Register here†or a “ Sign up†link by the “Sign In†link. It is not there. I finally figured out that the “Request an early invite now!†link is to register. Actionable suggestion: Although I found the registration page, it was frustrating to waste time at the sign in button and click around. I strongly encourage you to make the registration process go as quickly and as painless as possible. This could cost you potential clients. I would have an easy to find link right next to Sign In, using the words “Register†or “Sign Upâ€
How do you feel about the overall site?
I feel like I am reading a blog, only your site is categorized into:Â entertainment, travel, active & dining.
Would you recommend this site to a friend or family member?
Possibly. I am still trying to figure out what your site has to offer that other blogs/social networks do not offer.
How can the site be improved?
When I was viewing an experience, I see one main picture, and a photo album below of other pictures. I tried clicking on other pictures to move through the photos, however I could not. The other photos were not viewable at a larger size. Why is this? Actionable suggestion: I would recommend making all of the photos viewable at the largest size. I don’t know why this isn’t currently available.
What is the primary benefit the site would give you?
I don’t know. I was hoping you could tell me. The feel is of a blog, however I cannot see the other pictures up close and the blog entries are so short, that I don’t really feel like I am getting the full experience. I wish the entries had more details, rather than a summary.
How would you feel if you could no longer use Sprightlife?Â
I don’t know how fair this question is, because I am not a veteran user. I think this question would be more appropriate to ask a regular or recurring user. I was just getting an overview of the service. So the honest answer for someone just checking it out for the first time is: I would not miss it because I don’t currently have a need for it.
Additional comments:Â On your homepage, it says three things in color:Â 1) Perks with the most amazing brands, 2) Exclusive memberships, and 3) connect with friends.
After registering and reading experiences, I have not seen or understand how I can get perks (#1) or get an exclusive membership (#2) but could possibly see connecting with friends.
Actionable suggestion: I would recommend putting a tutorial or video on your homepage explaining how to achieve all three of these selling points, because I currently do not know how you can achieve these.  Please note that I did read the “Learn more†section and still do not understand how to get these perks. At this point I do not see your brand as providing an exclusive membership that I cannot get elsewhere (ex: Facebook).
@Zeke2100 – Thank you for taking the time to visit Sprightlife. We certainly appreciate the feedback and need more of it. I hope to answer your questions below:
What does sprightlife do to set itself apart from any ordinary blog?
Great question. The answer is really two parts. 1) Â For starters the site’s content is all user generated. Which makes it more rich and unique. Sprightlife’s blogging platform makes it easy to search for experiences to carry out with others, not just yourself. So if you’re looking for a specific type of experience, that you want to share with say… a significant other, or a family member, in a particular city or town you can easily do that. If you come across something you may want to try later, you can store it as a favorite. Sprightlife also makes it easy for you to share your own experiences with the world, which in turn helps others to find great experiences. We’re hoping the more people share, the greater the community we will all have which will be full of awesome experiences. 2) We’re currently ramping up our partnership and paid membership programs. This will give paid members access to unique and exclusive perks offered by our partnering businesses.
I finally figured out that the “Request an early invite now!†link is to register.
Currently the site is in closed beta, but open to invites. This explains the lack of a clear “registration” button or link. Once we open the site up the registration link will be impossible to miss!
I would recommend making all of the photos viewable at the largest size. I don’t know why this isn’t currently available.
Not really sure why this would be happening. It’s really the first we’ve heard of it. All thumbnails are clickable which bring up a larger viewing image. We will certainly look into it. We have a bugs form which can help us narrow down any browser/OS specific issues. Please feel free to help us out. https://www.sprightlife.com/team/bugs/
I wish the entries had more details, rather than a summary.
The site’s content is all user generated. None of the content is generate by Sprightlife. So if you’re looking for more information or details pertaining to an experience simply leave the publisher a comment requesting them to add more.
I have not seen or understand how I can get perks
We will be providing more information regarding the perks. Currently we are building up our partnership base with businesses to offer them. This explains the lack of information regarding how to obtain them. This will change once we’re out of beta.
Thanks again for your feedback and I hope you stick around!
@morsha1
Thank you for taking the time to join and add an experience. The photo you shared was pretty amazing. I’ve never been to India! Also, thank you for the great feedback! We’re glad to hear the process was simple and enjoyable for you. I hope you stick around and continue to share now that you have your account!

I read an experience from Yessica Vazquez about doing a 5K to benefit the Mammography Scholarship Fund. It seems that this site is about sharing experiences about the places you’ve been with others, so that they may enjoy the story. Like a socializing blog. I like this site.

How is the setup/registration process?
I think the setup and registration is really simple and easy to complete.
How do you feel about the overall site?
Overall, I like how the site is setup and how you can choose to click on a topic or enter keywords to search for different experiences. All the users who have shared an experience seem to really enjoy telling people about their stories.
Would you recommend this site to a friend or family member?
Absolutely! Its really great.
How can the site be improved?
I think there should be a dashboard that is clearly located for you to go and review your own user page. Also, you can have something that keeps track of all the experiences that you have viewed and or commented on, and perhaps give suggestions based on that information.
What is the primary benefit the site would give you?
The primary benefit would be connecting with other users locally and worldwide, and being able to relax and enjoy finding out about how others have experienced different things and places. This can also help you decide on what you may want to do for fun or go to dine.
How would you feel if you could no longer use Sprightlife?
I would be dissappointed, because I really enjoyed reading other users experiences and I like that I can also share my own. Its like having a virtual family that you can connect with through sharing your stories.
@Kay2010,
Thank you for the great feedback, the experience submission and thorough review. Your suggestions for site improvement are spot on and we will certainly put these on the road map for implementation. I completely agree with them. Thanks again!

I think this is a great idea. Many times I want to visit a place or event and I have no word of mouth to go by and this targets just that need. I like the categories chosen and how easy it is to add the experience, photos and add comments about the experience.
I like that experiences are simple and from random people with pictures to be able to put a name with the face as well as make the experience real.
I also like the layout of the site and the look of it is inviting. I would change the background for each category just to give the site some change and variety since that is one of themes of the site.
Add your own experiences. Feel free to invite friends or share your experiences with friends or family.
I have added my experiences and shared with friends by sending them e-vites. The process of adding the experience was very user-friendly and self-guided there was no way to get confused or go a different direction. That is a definite plus to this service and adding photos was so easy. I like that even people who are not internet savvy can actually follow the steps without help.
I noticed when I clicked my experience to view what I just wrote there was a map and I couldn’t tell what the map was of, is the map of the vacation taken? The location shown on the map was nowhere near my vacation destination. Also, I am not sure what the “tag” feature does in the experience page. It would be helpful to add a snippet box telling the user what Tag does or how it works within this site.
How is the setup/registration process?
The set up and registration was very easy to follow with a relaxed tone behind its purpose. In other words, it’s not a serious site, but rather, the registration process automatically conveys that it is for fun so you immediately feel at ease and free to be who you are on the site.
I didn’t see an option to edit the information on my account. For example, I wanted to change My superhero complex from Iron Man to Batman cool and I didn’t see a link to edit.
How do you feel about the overall site?
I do like the overlook site especially the big pictures on each experience added. I like the way the experiences are layed out within its category (entertainment, travel, etc.) and I like having a background picture, but, I would change the picture to with the category. For example, the travel category could have a destination on the background or a picture of the world map to indicate travel, the dining could have background of a unique restaurant or something like that.
I do think the site is missing a few important items like a tagline. It needs a section describing what sprightlife does and how it works. Without that information I felt I was just thrown into the site without a proper intro.
Would you recommend this site to a friend or family member?
Definitely yes. Although, I see the site is still under construction and in a beta form, I think it is a neat site with a very useful advantage and that is word of mouth recommendation and perspective from people about different types of fun. I would want my friends and family to benefit from something like this so I would want to share it.
How can the site be improved?
Great concept, but, here’s what I would love to see:
1. Ability to edit the info on my account.
2. Add more options to enhance my account since this is a very personal site in that people share their experiences I would want more options to “pretty up” my account. How do I add my photo? Can I add a quote to my profile? I would like the “About me” section to be next to my picture and all else the other info could be organized differently rather than in a list form (vertically).
3. I would like to see a map in my account of places I want to visit and see if anyone would recommend those places on my list to visit.
4. I would like to see “home page” a main place to go to where I can see more information such as: blogs, pictures, destinations, maybe “fun news” sort of a hub for sprightlife.
5. Is there a way of adding a sort feature to each category to be able to search for only: location, museums, events, concerts, etc.? How do I go about looking for experiences in my state only?
6. Add a ratings option. How would the person adding xyz experience rate her/his experience?
What is the primary benefit the site would give you?
Word of mouth. People’s real life and personal experience is worth more than any expensive piece of advertisement. This site gives a person just that and it’s also a fun way to learn about different types of fun. This site dips into the people’s curiousity and it engages a person immediately. I want to read more about what John Doe did at this restaurant or I want to see the pictures of Jane Doe in Nicaragua. It’s really a great concept that can be built up into a really popular tool.
How would you feel if you could no longer use Sprightlife?
I would be disappointed I couldn’t get more insight on ‘things to do ‘ and would have to do more research and look for another way to get information from others about things to do.

Orchid7 – Thank you for such a very thorough review! I’m glad to know that the site can be an added benefit to you and hopefully your friends and family as well. The more people we can get to share experiences the greater the community will become for us all.
Your review pointed out some things that we need to make a bit more obvious so they are not missed by anyone. Hopefully I can clear up a few items in the meantime:
Maps
The maps showcase the “single” location of where your experience was. This is based off the address or location you enter when adding an experience.
Â
Tags
Are for “tagging” favorite experiences you come across. I agree we should make this a bit more obvious in what it is for.
Â
Profile Editing
Click the “Settings” link on the top right of your page to edit your profile, change passwords, upload your own photo, or connect your Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Â
Your ideas for site improvements are great. Thank you again for taking the time to review and I hope to see some of your great experiences on Sprightlife.
Orchid7 – Forgive me. I forgot to mention one other item.
Ratings
Currently members have the ability to rate the experiences of others that they may have tried, not their own. This was done to develop a more “honest” system. Simply clicking on one of the ratings stars of another member’s experience in the right hand column, will rate it.
Take care.
How is the setup/registration process?
Admittedly, the delay for my confirmation email was frustrating. Â In recent years, confirmation emails usually come instantly (I understand your site is in beta, though, so that’s not something I am concerned about). Â Other than that, the process is extremely easy to understand and straightforward.
I especially love how easy it was to sync with my Facebook and Twitter accounts. Â Nowadays, it’s essential to have a social media “hub.” Â I like to branch out and try new socmed tools, but inevitably, it has to come back to the behemoths. Â Your setup was a breeze, and the time from registering to sharing experiences minimal – perfect!
How do you feel about the overall site?
I’m very picky about social media site designs, just a preference. Â I love your clean design and layout. Â Very easy to navigate, and just overall a great looking site. Â The attention to detail, even including the hover states in your nav and buttons, impresses me, and makes for a superior presentation overall.
I also like that your site has a personality. Â Even something as simple as saying “I am a Dude/Chick,” versus the norm, helps establish an identity for Sprightlife.
Would you recommend this site to a friend or family member?
Without a doubt! Â I am always looking for unique ways to interact with the people I care about, and I am very impressed with the ease of use and interface of your site.
How can the site be improved?
I like your criteria for an experience. Â I’m particularly intrigued by the “brands involved were” field. Â I’d like to see this expanded even more. Â I find that when I interact with people through social networks, the more background data I have, the more interested and invested I am.
While I love being able to share with my friends and family, I’m also interested to see how Sprightlife can also help me connect with people who have similar interests, and travel to some of my favorite destinations. Â There is great potential here as a real social hub.
I’d like more options of who I’m sharing an experience with. Â My Disney picture was actually shared with my mom, and I couldn’t give her the necessary props.
What is the primary benefit the site would give you?
I am an avid traveler, and sometimes I feel my photos and commentary from trips (whether full vacations or day trips) gets lost in the shuffle when posted on Facebook or Twitter. Â I use both Gowalla and Foursquare, but those sites are not intuitive (particularly Foursquare). Â It feels like their websites are afterthoughts, and their focus in on the apps. Â Your site has a polished look and interface, and the experience is quite improved because of it.
How would you feel if you could no longer use Sprightlife?
I would be disappointed. Â I could find myself quickly addicted to posting pictures of my adventures on Sprightlife!
Also, as technology has improved, many people tend to store their pictures on the Internet (whether Flickr, Facebook, or another site). Â If I invested the time and resources to post my pictures on Sprightlife, I would be disappointed to lose the work and images.

Went to the site, but I have no idea what it is about. I get the impression it would be about some product that would help me live life to the fullest, which does not appeal to me.
The “perks with most… brand” seems like it might offer some sort of discounts on certain brands, and my membership on the site is “exclusive”. Connect with friends, means I can share those perks with my friends on facebook and such social sites.
I have no interest in that, so I just closed it.

How is the setup/registration process?
It was easy to understand and navigate. I didn’t have to wait to recieve an e-mail. It was quick.
How do you feel about the overall site?
The site looks professional. It is easy to navigate and understand. I like the layout and color choice.
I really like how there are categories such as travel, dining, entertainment, etc. I like that you are able to include pictures of your experiences, etc. There is even maps to the locations on the side of each post. Â
Having the “Chick” and “dude” is a nice little touch.
Â
Would you recommend this site to a friend or family member?
Oh yeah!! I think this site is fun and informative.
How can the site be improved?
One thing that really bothered me is that there is no “FaQ” on your site. I actually have a few questions about your service. “FaQ” is good for the common questions that people have.Â
I think you should have a tab or link called something along the lines of “Comments”. The comment page should be full of opinions or experiences of your prior clients and how your site has helped them etc. It is always helpful to see what others say about the site or service before joining.
I noticed that there are links to facebook and twitter at the bottom of the page. I think it would look a lot better and be more noticeable if you use the symbols instead of the words and move them to the top of the page. There is a big empty spot next to the “sign in” link which is plenty of room to put the symbols of “facebook” and “twitter”.
What is the primary benefit the site would give you?
This site would be very good for people who travel such as myself. There are people on this site from all over the world. They discuss places, food, entertainment, and traveling which is very useful for a person who is traveling to those locations.
How would you feel if you could no longer use Sprightlife?
It is nice to belong to a site such as Sprightlife but if I couldn’t use it, I would have no choice but to deal with it. I think I can get easliy attached to this site and the service that it provides.Â
