About Textaurant:

Textaurant is changing the way patrons wait – and restaurants fill seats – by allowing customers to wait online, not in line. Patrons can see wait times from any computer or mobile smartphone and can join the queue from anywhere, and restaurant hosts use a web-based waiting list that allows them to contact patrons via text or voice message when their table is almost ready. Textaurant restaurants lose fewer patrons because of long waits, increasing overall revenue, and add dollars to the top line by offering a unique and convenient service.

  1. Neat idea. I think you need a CONTACT US page (might try bestcontactform.com)

Also, when I first hit the site, I’m not exactly sure what it does. I think if the first text I saw (big bold left top) would be something like…
Textaurant.com alerts you via text message when your table is ready.

    Or something like that…

  2. This is a neat idea but if the restaurant is busy already, they don’t have the time to enter this information.  I think that there should be a book reservation button on there.  This is because somebody can look on there and see, for example, a 30 minute wait for a table.  But by the time they get there, it could be longer because more people might get there before them.  Also, there should be a place on there where it lists special sales at stores in the area.  If somebody is waiting to go to a restaurant, they aren’t going to want to drive all the way home and then come back.  Other people may enjoy games that they could play while they wait.  Restaurants that I would like to see on this website would be Applebees, TGI Fridays, Bennigans, Olive Garden and Red Lobster.  This would be nice for the more popular restaurants.

  3. This is a great idea!    I would like to see a Contact Us Tab at the top of the page.   The restaurants I would like to see using this site are establishments such as Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesdays, etc.
My only concern is how this will work on the restaurant’s end.  Will they need someone specifically to text the customers when their tables are ready?

  4. You should change Restaurant link to “For Restuarants”…I initially thought it would be a list of where they are, not that if I’m a restaurant, I should click there.
