About The Sportula:
In 2009, our family-owned business, based out of Warsaw, IN developed a hamburger flipper called The SPORTULA® (see attached). Our motto is “Flaunt Your Fanhood†and through creative marketing, and a one-of-a-kind product design, we have developed a loyal following for our beloved hamburger flipper. Here at Sportula® products, we like to say, “We don’t sell Spatulas, we sell SPORTULASâ€. Fortunately, we’ve sold a lot of them in a very short period of time, but our product is still very new.

My initial impression of the Sportula website is that I think it’s very cute and I love the look of the website because it draws my eyes right in to the grill with all of the spatulas across it. As for the second question, yes I am very drawn to click on the buttons because I want to see if I can find a spatula that my fiance would like.

My fiance is not a big sports fan so I clicked on the button labeled enthusiast. I didn’t find any of the selections to be something that would fit his personality so I clicked on the corporate section because he and his best friend are starting their own business. I absolutely loved that there was an option to send in their company logo and I am seriously considering ordering one for their first company picnic.Â
I found Sportula easy to navigate through and my biggest feedback would be to provide more options. I find having lots of options imperative to my shopping experience so if there was more to pick from I would definitely take the time to scroll through the selections.
What is your initial impression of what you see?
At first glance it appears to be a website dealing in sports themed spatulas. It is cute in a goofy/endearing kind of way. It is the kind of thing that I could see myself buying as a fun gift for a family member.
Are you immediately drawn to click on any of the buttons? Why or why not?
Yes, the “Custom Idea” button was the most attention-grabbing because the idea of making your own custom spatula seemed pretty neat.
Additional feedback:
The website has a nice theme, but using a widescreen monitor it looked a little empty due to a large amount of unused space.Â
Seriously considering picking up the St. Louis Cardinals spatula for my brother.Â
