In a very quick 5 -10 seconds, I see the “CREATE YOUR PROFILE” button which tells me that this is another social networking site. The first question that pops into my head is, do I need another social network to join? I do like Facebook, but I long ago gave up on MySpace for the blatant commercial for pop icons of the moment that it became. I wonder, what sets this apart from the others? I also see a variety of boxes of profiles others have created. it seems very cleanly presented. I am impressed with the lack of ads, which already begins to answer my question about how is it different from others, most notably, MySpace.
What do you find bothersome? What do you like?
Bothersome- I have no strong feelings about being bothered here. if anything, it would be the lack of the site’s philosophy presented. I’m not completely sure what this site is all about at first glance. The create a profile button and “Recently Created Pages” tag definitely point to this being another social network, yet the layout of the pages in their blocks, and the randomness of subject matter gives it the feel of a blog. That said, if I had to say anything bothered me, it simply be the uncertainty of what the site is supposed to be. Â
What I like- The clean feeling of it. I don’t feel like just another demographic that advertisers can target. I really like that, in fact. It feels like a very genuine site with the true interest of its users at heart, and not yet another portal for celebrities and huge corporations to promote themselves with.
What do you think of the sign up process
The sign up process could not have been easier. It is great.
Would you sign up for a free account? If not, why?
Yes I would. In fact, I did.
Would you use the “Invite†button on the page to invite friends, family, and clients to that page
Yes. In fact, I plan to do just that.
What do you think of the “create a page†process?
It is very simple, very straight forward. IÂ especially appreciate that I can sign up and create a page without having to leave the page. I never like it when I sign up with a network, and I have to go check my email to click on a link to confirm. The fact that i did not have to do that here made me very happy.

I would like to see more fields for the pages. That is, a place to input the url of my website. This seems like a great place for people to create pages to advertise their personal web businesses. I myself created a page to advertise my personal tarot business. I’d love it if people could simply click on my url to go to my page.
