What is your initial impression of what you see?

Attractive, clean design with no unnecessary clutter, but almost looks a little bare.
I believe that is by design because you want to present a tool that is easy and simple.

The statements at the top do get me interested in reading more.  Most everyone wants to be more organized and productive.  This would make a good browser home page.  That way every time I launch my web browser, this is the first thing I see.    Some users may not want to do that, so it would be nice to have a desktop icon to click to launch the browser and go directly to the site.
Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
I had to scroll down to see the “sign up for free” option.  But once I saw it, then I was drawn to click there.  I have a lot of toolbars displayed in at the top in Internet Explorer, so that is why I had to scroll down.  You may want to consider moving it above the picture (below your introductory statements.)

    2) Create an account. Was it easy to create an account or did you have issues?

    Very easy.  No issues.

    3) Get started on the “Learn ThunderTask” tutorial list to learn how to use the app.  Do you have any problems using the software? What’s missing?

At first I did not understand that the “Learn Thundertask” list was actually the tutorial, but it became obvious pretty quickly.  The only action I was not sure about was how to add a list, but when I saw the plus sign, I knew what to do.  I think most users would know what to do, but it would still help to say “click the plus sign (+) next to “Lists” on the menu on the right.
I really like the “overdue”, “today” and “upcoming” options, but I was not sure what criteria was used to determine when an item would be on the “upcoming” list.  It would be nice if I had the ability to define the number of days used to determine the items on the upcoming list.  Also, I would like to see an option for “tomorrow” (personally I would like to see my upcoming items for the next week).
I would like to see you add:
    – ability to enter a description for each list
    – ability to enter notes for each task
    – option for entering the time for each task
    – ability to prioritize tasks (urgent, high, med, low)
    – ability to change the order of the tasks (move tasks up or down on the list)

I think you should consider adding a configuration option for each user account.
Assuming you add the items I suggested above, then in the configuration option, allow users to:
    – choose if they want a description field for each list (some users may not want this)
    –  select the number of days that determines the tasks on the “upcoming” list.
    -  allow users to select fields they want for each task (for example: they could decide if they wanted notes, time of day, priority for each task).  If a user decided to turn something on or off in the configuration, then it would only apply to future lists.

    4) How do you think the site compares to other similar task management tools?

Most task management tools are geared more for project management.  They can be complicated and sometimes require users to enter too much information.  I sometimes end up writing things on paper because it is faster.   I like that this tool does not require much, but is fast and provides the options I would use the most.  Even though I could not mark something urgent, I do have the option to make and urgent list, so that works for me.

    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have. Thank you!

I am a project manager and so being organized is critical.  I really like this tool and find it very helpful (but then I am a person who likes to make lists).

I hope my feedback is helpful!  Good luck with your website!

The website was very simple and easy to understand.

    2) Create an account. Was it easy to create an account or did you have issues?

To create and account was very easy to do. The pages loaded quicly and it was simple.

    3) Get started on the “Learn ThunderTask” tutorial list to learn how to use the app. Do you have any problems using the software? What’s missing?

The “Learn ThunderTask” button was pretty obvious that it  was a tutorial. I had no problems with the software at all.

    4) How do you think the site compares to other similar task management tools?

Some other sites are more complicated to get through which can be very frustrating.  This website is very simple and easy which makes using this less stressful.

  3. 1) What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
It very much attracted me that I could sign up for free. It’s a good service for people who want to stay organized and to offer it for free is something that many people would want to do.2) Create an account. Was it easy to create an account or did you have issues?
Signing up was so easy, I was surprised. Most sites like that seem to take forever to sign in to. This was quick and simple. No extra information or annoying questions.3) Get started on the “Learn ThunderTask” tutorial list to learn how to use the app. Do you have any problems using the software? What’s missing?
WOW. I want to use this program. The tutorial taught me everything I needed to know to get started while also showing me how it organized and removed finished tasks, without me having to read a long instructions manual that confused me.  4) How do you think the site compares to other similar task management tools?
I like how it’s all in one place, and it’s online, so no matter what computer you go on you can access it, without having to carry it on a flash disk or device. And there’s even a phone app for it.5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have. Thank you!
It’s great that the task can be made smaller or bigger, but I would have liked for the task title to have one space, and then another for a description.
    BTW, I’m keeping my account.
