  1. 1) Visit https://timelinetab.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
My initial impression was the site is something like designing your facebook timeline to make it more interesting or make it suit to my work or business. It’s a great idea to have such a creativity concept. First, i wanted to know what is it about, i read through the description below the slide show and then i immediately wanted to know what’s the features inside it. So i clicked the Feature button.
    2) Was the video informative enough to let a user know how easy the system is to work?
First, i did not know there is a video in the site. I searched it until i saw the button ‘Must See Video’. If you have a video that tell the story of your service, it’s better you display the video in the homepage so people could see it right after they get into your site. You can put a title like ‘ how it works’ above the video and people would click on the video if they wanted to know how it works.

The video take too long and it’s kinda bored due to long wait. I understand you wanted to prove to the visitor that it just take less than 5mins to complete design the timeline. To sell your service so that people would like to try is not about how fast it can be done. Its about the feature, user friendliness interface and the attraction. I suggest that you don’t have to show from scratch, like the sign up part, email verification. Your point in the video is to let the visitor understand and know the features and how they can use it. So, you have to make it simple. A video that take about 7mins it’s a little too long. Imagine if you’re a new visitor to the site and you don’t really know what the site is about. So you just play the video and try to know what it is but you then realize that the video takes more than 5mins and at beginning of the video, you’re watching it showing the step of registration and the waiting time for the registration is a little longer than usual. it will give a bad impression and it may lead to the visitor leaving the site before they finish watch the video. The explanation in the video is very clear, you just have to make it simple and only explain the key point of how it works. After i watched the video, it actually impressed me because it would be great to let everyone see my facebook timeline with creative and attractive layout.
    3) Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
Yes, I would like to try it, it’s interesting for me.
    4) If you did sign up for the free trial, were you able to successfully add the Timeline Tab to your Fan page? Were you able to do it in less than five minutes?

I have signed up for it and I am able to publish it to normal view like how i saw from the video. But I could not publish it to my facebook. I cannot find the button add to facebook under the control panel drop down menu. I do not know what is going wrong. Maybe it’s my problem or maybe it’s the site problem. It is very user friendliness for me. I can easily edit and change anything from it. I can design it with my own logo, changing the background and so on.

I think i have mentioned all of it above. Overall, it’s a great idea and a great feature that you provided. The customization process is very simple and clear. It’s easy for me to design the entire page. For the homepage, When I visit, it does not give me so much interesting experience or impression until i tried it on my own. The slideshow is not that attractive and I do not get the message of what you trying to say in the slideshow. I suggest you can change the content of the slideshow into a more meaningful and useful information for the visitors. You can include the step of how your site works in the slideshow. You can show the customization process with a simple explanation on the picture inside the slideshow. It would be more meaningful and the visitor can directly know how it works and what the site is about when they saw the slideshow.

All the best and good luck! Thank You.

  2. tthau2010,

Thank you. Excellent points. We need to beef up our slideshow with better marketing materials. We also need to create a shorter video to qive a less than a 60 sec overview. The 5 minute video should be used more as a visual walkthrough for those less tech savvy.

We were able to log into your account, and go under Control Panel and view the  Add To Facebook button. The Add To Facebook is the option just above the bottom Log Out button. I would appreciate if you could log back in and verify you can view that.

    Cordially,
    Tom

  3. I have logged in and tried it again, i am able to view the add to facebook button and i have successfully published the testing page to facebook page. Thanks for the reply.

  4. 1)      Visit https://timelinetab.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

My initial impression was that this product would be able to bring my Facebook fan page to life in a way that I would not be able to do on my own, at least not without hours of frustration. With how important social marketing is in growing any business this product could provide an excellent tool.

The first button I was drawn to click was in fact the “must see video” tab, however I bypassed it to check out the features first and then went on to watch the video. Following that I had checked out the price tab, which I found to be more than reasonable at $15 per month.

    2)      Was the video informative enough to let a user know how easy the system is to work?

I believe for the most part the video was informative; however I was still slightly apprehensive. This was mainly due to the fact that I would have preferred that you had slowed down just a bit during the steps that were shown. That being said, the video is available to pause or go back and review and therefore it wasn’t that big of an issue.

    3)      Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?

I am definitely encouraged to sign up. I believe that in the world of business combined with today’s media based society it’s more vital than ever to have a competitive edge that sets you apart from the rest.

    4)      If you did sign up for the free trial, were you able to successfully add the Timeline Tab to your Fan page? Were you able to do it in less than five minutes?

I have been able to update my fan page and it was done within 5 minutes, though I have pulled it down until later. This has absolutely nothing to do with your product; I just want to be able to take the time to hand pick specific images.

    5)      Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

The only lingering thought that I had is that loading times seemed to lag a little, such as the amount of time it took to register. In today’s fast paced world that could be a problem for some. I’m not sure if there’s a way for you to take a look at that and speed it up or not, I just wanted to mention it and maybe give you something to consider.

  5. 1. My first impression was very positive. Your home page looks completely professional and has a perfect mix of visuals and clear, concise text. The name of your site (“Timeline Tab”) and its tag line (“Facebook Timeline Creator”) immediately communicate what your service does. Then the slideshow captures viewer attention with its appealing Facebook images and presents several selling points in a straightforward manner. You immediately follow this with a brief intro explaining who Timeline Tab is for, which encourages interested visitors to scroll down and read more details under “Features.” This is really a very nice layout. In addition, the simple white, gray, and blue are reminiscent of Facebook and stand out beautifully against the darker background.

    A few suggestions:

–The text beneath the slideshow isn’t evenly spaced and looks “squeezed.” For example, you have a double space beneath the “Features” head and the text but no space between the text and the “New Visitors” head. Try to be consistent with this. If you’re going to double space between sections, then always double space between sections. If you’re going to single space between heads and text, then always single space between heads and text. And so on. Personally, I prefer to see a small space between heads and text and a larger space between each section.

–You could stand to get rid of the “New Visitors” section. Instead, you could add a sign-up link, button, or submission form next to or beneath the “Login” section. You could also eliminate “Existing Users.” Repeat visitors shouldn’t really need a home page invitation to read tutorials or the FAQ. The FAQ should be part of your sales pages and, as such, should be available either as a tab at the top of the home page or as a subsection of your “Features” or “Pricing” pages. Tutorials should also be available as a tab at the top of the home page or from within the user’s account when logged in.

–There’s a lot of blank space between the last of the text and the copyright notice and links at the bottom of the page. I’d get rid of this blank space and shorten the page. Also, I know some sites like to repeat their tabs at the bottom of the page, but why do you only list two of them (“Features” and “Pricing”)?

As to your question about the buttons, I was immediately drawn to click on the slideshow. I thought that clicking on a slide might take me to the “Features” page or something. But nothing happened. So then I just went up to the tabs at the top to investigate further.

    2. It took me a minute to notice the “Must See Video” tab at the top of the home page. A lot of companies embed their video in the home page, either smack in the middle above the fold or slightly to the right or left. While I like your slideshow, it precludes positioning the video in a more direct location like this, and I worry that visitors might overlook the “Must See Video” tab. If I were you, I would consider either narrowing your slideshow or broadening the margins of the page so that you could at least fit in a button or link that reads, “Watch our video now!” Another option would be to put this button or link right under the slideshow, bumping down your “Facebook Timeline Tab Creator” head a bit.

I’ll be honest that I wasn’t crazy about the video. With a run time of 7 min., 29 sec., it’s long for an intro video, and I had a hard time maintaining interest, especially since the text promises that I’m going to watch a process that takes less than five minutes. Furthermore, the homemade feel of the video contrasts strangely with the professional feel of the home page. It isn’t always bad to add a personal touch to your marketing, but it depends on your audience. If you’re aiming Timeline Tab at small businesses, as you say you are, your video should be a professional presentation of your service.

My suggestion is to replace this video with a short (three minutes or less) overview of what Timeline Tab can do for users. Hire a voice actor for narration (or at least get some professional recording equipment), write a good sales script, and do some editing to put together a video with screenshots and captures. I know you want to show visitors that it’s quick and easy to set up Timeline Tab, but right now your video doesn’t communicate quick and easy. There’s a lot of sitting around and switching back and forth between windows, and, to be frank, I don’t think five-minute installation is a selling point for most users. Visitors are more interested in how your service can benefit them, so take this opportunity to show them what Timeline Tab can do for their Facebook pages rather than just how fast it can be installed. If you pace the video well, you won’t need a timer to make the process look quick and painless.

    3. Not yet because I don’t have a Facebook fan page. It’s something I’ve been thinking about creating, though, so maybe I would use your service in the future. I would have to see what I could do with Facebook’s existing timeline feature before evaluating whether I needed the additional functionality of Timeline Tab. However, I’ve heard stories about people having difficulty with coding fan pages and with formatting images uploaded to Facebook’s timeline. So I suspect that your service could be valuable. One question, though: How long is the free trial? Your “Pricing” page doesn’t mention it.

    4. I went ahead and signed up just so I could review the sign-up process. (Obviously, I’m not able to actually apply Timeline Tab to a Facebook page.) I liked that you didn’t ask me a dozen questions upon registration or make me go to my email account and confirm a link. However, it took a long time (and several false starts) to load my Timeline Tab account. When it finally loaded, the first thing I was presented with was a pop-up window with various tutorial videos. I watched the first one and was pleasantly surprised at how simple, professional, and well paced it was, especially compared to your intro video. When I finished the video and had a look at my page, I could immediately see how beautifully easy it would be to create a Facebook fan page using your site. The thing is…I didn’t at all get a sense of that before I signed up. In my mind, this reinforces that you need to refocus your intro video away from the timer and spotlight your attractive, clean, simple interface and its rich features. One other small problem: Once I was signed in, I couldn’t figure out how to sign out.

    5. I’ll give some feedback on the main pages not already covered:

Before anything else, I’d change the order of your tabs to “Must See Video,” “Features,” “Live Demos,” “Pricing,” “Sign Up,” and “Login.” This encourages people to watch the intro video first, then backs up your sales pitch with further details on the product, and finally presents the cost and call to action (i.e., sign up).

Also, I didn’t notice an “About,” “Help,” or “Contact Us” page. Not sure I’d want to hand over my credit card to a company that doesn’t provide that information.

    Features
Your copy is good, but the page looks dense and kind of boring. I’d illustrate these points with screenshots. Also, this is a minor point, but you should be consistent with capitalization in your heads. Use “up style” or “down style” but not both.

    Pricing
The chart is easy to read, but as I said, I’m left wondering how long the free trial is and what features are included with it. Also, you might move “Sales Terms” down some. It looks like part of the chart without any spacing between the two.

    Live Demos
Only one of the links in the drop-down menu appears to actually be a live demo, Cempazuchi Comida Brava. I was locked out of Bootz Saloon without signing into Facebook, and your own Facebook page doesn’t seem to include the timeline, strangely enough.

I like how you can click on the magnifying glass to enlarge the layout design. Only problem here is that you offer users a selection of designs you don’t have. Until you have a number of designs to choose from, I’d say don’t even offer this option. It just sets up an expectation you can’t meet at this point.

Bottom line: I think you have a potentially valuable service, and your home page communicates that well. But other informational pages may need some help to close the sale. If you redo your sales video as described above, add some screenshots to enliven your “Features” page, make sure your live demos are up and running, and perhaps use some bolder blues or other vivid color to appeal to the eye, I think you’ll increase your chances of selling visitors on Timeline Tab. But remember that we also need to know upfront how long the free trial is and which features we can try.

  6. 1) Visit https://timelinetab.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

The first thing I see is a slideshow, that has some facebook screenshots. It appears that your service is a supplemental service related to the FB timeline feature.

I am not immediately drawn to click anything, mainly because I don’t see anything to click other than navigation. There is no “hot action” item I see in the immediate eye space.

    2) Was the video informative enough to let a user know how easy the system is to work?

Video was basic, but the voice was not especially pleasing aesthetically. Maybe a more appealing voice (professional) would make the video more appealing.

Other than that the info was good.

    3) Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?

I am not. I have switched to timeline, but not thrilled about it. I think it was unneccesary. If everyone is as displeased as me, that doesn’t bode well for your business.

    4) If you did sign up for the free trial, were you able to successfully add the Timeline Tab to your Fan page? Were you able to do it in less than five minutes?

Already had timeline. Not thrilled about it.

    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

    1. I am not fond of the grays. You need more color. It is currently too “blah”

    2. I am concerned about your business plan and strategy. It seems like you are hinging your business on the timeline, and the way Facebook changes its services so frequently, I would not be surprised if they change timeline within 1 year.

    3. The white font that says “unlimited gallery options” on the scroller is on a white or light gray background and now showing very well.

So is the text that says “Bring more….” in front of the cowgirl pic.

    4. Maybe I am not fulling understanding your service – I don’t see why anyone would pay $15 for timeline setup/support. I wish this was much more clear to absorb on your homepage.

    5. I think people are not getting the clear picture of what you do. The first thing they read is Facebook Timeline Creator and think, “Oh I’ve already got that.”

    6. Your brand should be on the top left hand side to get read by the eyes first.

    7. I don’t like the narrow width. Too much dark space on the sides.

Overall, I don’t see this website as being a professional premium package. Not bad for a do it yourself project, but I don’t see handing money over for services that are not clearly spelled out with clear selling points. Your sentence on the homepage is too long. Make it shorter, summarize and get to the point.

  7. 1. Visit https://timelinetab.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

I was not impressed. The grey along the borders is to overpowering it just made me want to click away. I would suggest you change it to a white. White is the old preferred color of marketers and there is a reason for that it is pleasing on the eye and focus attention you where you want people attention. Your copyright and you images. I was not temped to click on any button the menu bar faded into the background of the grey. If you would change to say a Facebook type of blue that would far more preferable. And it would theme well with your product offering.

    2) Was the video informative enough to let a user know how easy the system is to work?
The video was informative, but editing out the long wait times would be helpful. I noticed the voice was not professional. But most people do not need a professional voice over, you would be surprised at how much better you would sound if you bought a better mic in the and stood up while while talking, while using a speech voice as if you are talking to a room full of people.

    3) Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?

No I am not encouraged to sign up for a free trial. And that is not good since I am in your target audience, right now I am a freelance marketer although I more experienced in b2b. I use social media, including  Facebook. Your copy and video leaves me without the desire to sign up for even a free trial. It lacks a good hook or call to action, the copy is bland and unclear as to how it would help me. I had reread several times it feels like it offers no solutions to any problem I might have.

    4) If you did sign up for the free trial, were you able to successfully add the Timeline Tab to your Fan page? Were you able to do it in less than five minutes?

Sorry if I feel no need to sign up I will not sign up. Although I might change my mind at a later date.

     5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

I can tell this website is still in the beta testing, it needs compelling copyright. And if you do not want to put in on the main page please link to a page that explains how my business is going to increase by using timeline tabs. Or make another video that has explains how timeline tabs can make me money. Basically you are technically focused, but your website will only make money if you show the visitor how they can use timeline tabs to make money.

I am sorry if my comments sounded harsh.

  8. 1) Visit https://timelinetab.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
The initial impression aint that great. Actually the design seems quite unacctractive. Even though it’s meant for the pro it aint designed in a slick manner. The site is not as cool as the actual timeline it creates. The additional login and signup seems unnecessary as lot of place is available in the home page. No icons or catchy stuff has been put up for users to Join. It could have had JOIN NOW in large with some icons  rather than a plain New Visitors followed by don’t have an account with us yet question which is followed by a hyperlink. That needs to change .Some icons and stuff could help a lot .A larger font size will also look cool.
Also the site fully reloads every time the timeline is pressed and it actually frustrates a user when nothing comes on the screen after we press it The babes pics must be removed and replaced with some pro looking stuff that removes the amateurish edge of the site and replaces us with a images that the guys are pro and know what they are doing. It will help in drawing some business where suited guys are working. I will just do some clicking to see how my job will get done.

Was the video informative enough to let a user know how easy the system is to work?
The video seems quite amateurish with the EHH ehh stuff coming all the time .That aint pro .Also it makes a blunder by ending up with a seven minute time in the end that’s really foolish. It is informative and the narrative should be better without ehh ehh and stuff suitably re mastered .There is no need to start farm the very basic steps. The video doesn’t encourage the user to see it fully because the initial introductory and all that right from scrap thing will so away any potential buyer. You guys must start thinking a bit more like pro and it should reflect in every corner and edges .Each and every frame of the video must be redone.
    3) Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
I won’t be encouraged to take up the free trail because its hell lot amateurish and no clear assurances or how beautiful and easy is it to sign up and how the productivity of the business is  gonna improve with the addition of a timeline no guarantee on the returns or stuffs like that. Small business men who are gonna signup for these sort of stuff need a hell of lot of assurance. And by assurance I don’t mean Paper proofs or guarantees .It’s just a mind thing actually a little persuasion via attitude the site puts up.
    4) If you did sign up for the free trial, were you able to successfully add the Timeline Tab to your Fan page? Were you able to do it in less than five minutes?
Despite the negatives I signed up and the actual things is quite cool >the idea is good.
    5) The idea is cool fresh and you guys are going to have a lot of business soon.So Best of luck when u hit the web.

  9. 1) Visit https://timelinetab.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
My initial response was: why would I want to do this?  First it took me awhile to understand the premise of this site.  I had many questions: how will TimelineTab increase my business visibility?  Does my timeline own all the content (questions also for Facebook about I heard owns the pictures on ones FB site). How will my business get the most for its monthly fee?

    2) Was the video informative enough to let a user know how easy the system is to work?
The video was fairly informative. Can the person speaking have more enthusiasm in voice? How is this different than the Facebook timeline tab already created by Facebook? The tutorial stated that registering takes the most time – why?  What is going on in the background? The video seemed too long (7 1/2 mins). A 5:30-6:00 minute video would have captured my interest more.  I stopped the video after the voice said ” it has been installed” – about 4:56 minutes.

    3) Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
I was encouraged to sign up for free. For the 15 per month; I would have wanted to see more detail on what my money supports. I liked the visitor statistics aspect of the account and would want to see more detail on what type of visitor stats I will get:  daily visitors?  Monthly visitors? Will I get a monthly report on all the stats?

    4) If you did sign up for the free trial, were you able to successfully add the Timeline Tab to your Fan page? Were you able to do it in less than five minutes?
I went through the screens however I did not add add TimelineTab to my page.

    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Password: only 4-8 characters?  Can this be changed to more characters?

  10. 1)      Visit https://timelinetab.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
The presentation of your website is very nice and professional; clearly someone took time creating your site. I would like to have seen the main information a little larger making it easier to see the content and the pictures scrolling by. Some of the test on the scrolling section is washed out because the text is white and part of the background is white. I like the description you put on your homepage but I think it needs to be broken up into two sentences, reading it all at once is a mouth full. I would like to see space interjected in between each of the pieces of info on the homepage. Much of the content seems crammed together even though you have extra space at the bottom of the page. I also don’t understand why you have that extra black space at the bottom of the page with no content in it but content under that space. I think your homepage would do well have a distinct sign up button making your site push towards people signing up and not just logging in. From looking at your tabs I would be drawn towards clicking on pricing, must see video and the live demo. Okay now I see the sign up tab which I think might look more alluring if it was blue making it easier to indentify. I see no purpose of having a login tab and having a login space on the front of the homepage unless users can browse the sight and still have the tabs present on each page to sign up when they feel.
    2) Was the video informative enough to let a user know how easy the system is to work?
I like that you featured a video but I thought it was all over the place. I think there is a big difference between a tutorial video and an informative video. I think that this video seemed to blend both which made it hard to really grasp the features that you have to offer. The process of how to use your site seemed to be glossed over with trying to beat a self imposed clock. I must much rather a site take the time and walk me through then try to show how fast it can be put up, in your case. I think you a lot more that can be done to customize your site and I feel you miss out when you try to make things go so fast. Just having looked at your video I can barely remember even a quarter of the information, the process or features which is not a positive sign. Waiting for the registering part of the video was almost painful to sit through and “umm” was used way too much. With all that said and done the video was informative in its own right because it does gives a taste of what your site can do.
    3) Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
Yes, it would be interesting to see how it would work out with a small business.
    4) If you did sign up for the free trial, were you able to successfully add the Timeline Tab to your Fan page? Were you able to do it in less than five minutes?
I did not add it to my Facebook account because I would like to take more time and be specific in all of the details to really make it my own. I was able to get it up in five minutes but more importantly I like that I can take time to truly make it my own. When it comes to the pricing page I would certainly like to see all that you have to offer and the prices associated with them. It says that I can change and upgrade but upgrade to what? It do you’re a little better to show all that you have so if someone wants to upgrade then they can just go right to the upgrade account. I heard in your video that you have a 30 day free trial but it needs to be stated on your pricing page because I don’t see it anywhere on the page.
    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
When it comes to cancelling an account is there any money paid back to the customer if they are early into the billing cycle? How will a user be billed if they upgrade within a billing cycle?  I like that you have live demos but after clicking on the tab it’s wasn’t what I was expecting. I thought I would be able immediately see a demo without having to login to Facebook. That was a little disappointing. Under the pricing page I see that you have “try free,” someone may interpret that as you have a package that is free or that you have a free trial offer which are two totally different ideas. I like that you have your features page well detailed but at the very end the text needs not to slightly be into the blue part of the layout. Your site is nicely details but it lacks the visual appeal that is needs to truly showcase your product. I stated before that I think your site needs two separate video which I think will definitely be a plus to your site. I would certainly add testimonials to this site to allow getting some real feedback. I would even consider adding a forum to allow users to swap ideas and self troubleshooting.

  11. 1) Visit https://timelinetab.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?
Although the layout and the page is a bit plain, I was struck my curiosity as soon I hit the homepage of timelinetab.com. I was interested and wanted to know more about what the Timeline Tab was all about.  It’s direct and straight to the point, in where it directly has a description or a little fyi on what Timeline Tab’s purpose is. I am immediately drawn to click the features button, must see video and live demos because I want to know more about the Timeline Tab.
Regarding the looks of the site, it is a bit plain. Slightly boring. It’s simple though and I can tell that you’re trying to achieve a professional look. I do think simple is good and a good site layout doesn’t need to go all out with flashy graphics and bright colors. But I think it can look better. That way more people would be attracted to the site as soon as they go onto it. Other than that, the whole purpose of the site is what got my attention.

    2) Was the video informative enough to let a user know how easy the system is to work?
Yeah I do think that the video is informative enough to let users know how easy the system works. It’s a great overview on how the system works. It didn’t cover every single small detail about the system, which is okay because the video would’ve been a lot longer and boring. Like I said, the video was a great overview on how the system works. It gives us a general idea on what we’re supposed to do. It wasn’t only informative, but it also taught us how to use it. Like mini tutorial. Which is a major plus. We can just get the rest of the technical stuff/details from the tutorials, how tos, faqs and even customer support.
    3) Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?
Yes definitely. It seems like it’s helpful tool to making a boring page feel alive. I recently started a small business and I’m still in the process of putting everything together, especially with social networking sites that will help promote my business.
    4) If you did sign up for the free trial, were you able to successfully add the Timeline Tab to your Fan page? Were you able to do it in less than five minutes?
I did sign up for a free trial. But I have not yet tried to add the Timeline Tab to my fan page yet because I haven’t created it yet. But I do plan to soon since I started the free trial already. I did toy around with it though. All I have to do is create my fan page and add it. I’m always looking for new tools to enhance my business.

    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Just take note of what I said earlier about the layout and look of the site. There are people who judge a site by how it looks, so maybe a little work on the appearance of the site would be a good idea. Maybe a little color and a change of font. I do think you get your purpose out there as soon as you go onto the site. It’s straight forward and it does give the user and idea of what Timeline Tab is all about. I think pricing isn’t that bad. But I would suggest that you add more prices, maybe even packages/options that people can choose from. I think you should add pictures to the features page. Maybe just a screenshot of each feature that is indicated on the features page. Although the video was informative, I think it lacked some life. I think the narrator can talk more enthusiastically. Maybe add subtle background music. Just little things that will keep users glued to the video. I would also suggest you add more designs. The design that is already available is actually a good one. I like how you can change the colors and such. Also kudos on the FAQs and tutorials. There’s a lot and it’s very informative! I don’t think you can get lost and you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for.
The whole purpose and mission of Timeline Tab is a great one. And I do think that if others knew about this they’d definitely use it. Especially since Facebook is very plain with their fan pages. Timeline Tab will spruce up pages and make fan pages look more interesting. Plus it’s fun to tinker around and customize your own site. I’m sure news will spread about Timeline Tab and people will start using it. With improvements here and there, Timeline Tab will become a success! Good luck!

  12. 1) Visit https://timelinetab.com/. What is your initial impression of what you see? Are you immediately drawn to click any of the buttons? Why or why not?

My initial impression was very positive. Your website looks very professional and easy to work with. Very user-friendly. I do think that the Home page is a bit cluttered in the text. The login panel and the Features panel look like they were forced together. It isn’t a bad thing, I just thought you guys could make it look less cluttered up.
When I saw your website, I wanted to know what this “Timeline Tab” was all about so I was immediately drawn to click the Features button along with the Must See Video button.
    2) Was the video informative enough to let a user know how easy the system is to work?

The Must See Video was informative. Although, there were parts where the narrator paused in the video making it unprofessional looking. He might have talked about the Timeline Tab more, perhaps. I would have liked to have seen a minute video of your product rather than a tutorial of how to install it. If I may add a suggestion: You could have a Tutorial/How-to video on installing Timeline Tab and an advertisement video on your product.
    3) Are you encouraged to sign up for a free trial/free account? If not, why?

Well I am curious about the Timeline Tab but unfortunately I am not curious enough to try it out. I suggest maybe add more pictures of the Timeline Tab.
    4) If you did sign up for the free trial, were you able to successfully add the Timeline Tab to your Fan page? Were you able to do it in less than five minutes?

    I didn’t.
    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I am impressed with this product, especially when I saw the video. I may not be interested now, but I might try it out later in the future. That could be a problem though. Put more previews of the Timeline Tab. Make the pages on your website look less cluttered. Give them space. Make an advertisement video and use the current video as a Tutorial video. If I were to give a rating for this, I’d give you guys a 4/5. The one star is lacking for the said statements above. Overall, very nice website, my friends.

  13. My first impression of this site is that it is an amateur put together site about facebook time lines. Upon entering this site, the only thing that really caught my eye was the flash images along the top of the page. I was not initially drawn to click on any of the tabs at the top of the page due to the fact that they seemed to blend into the background of the site.

The video on the site is a little slow going. I would suggest editing the video down to make is slower or just cut out the part where the video is loading. Also you voice sounds  little bored, I would sound a little more lively. After seeing this video I was not drawn to sign up for an account with this site. I just do not seem to see the point and based on the look of the initial site doesn’t not encourage me to sign up.  If the site were a bit more professional looking.  Otherwise the idea behind the site is very interesting and creative.
