1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
Without even reading the content your homepage is visually appealing. You have great vibrant colors, clear graphics and great use of space. I am not a big fan of the the blurry background because I suffer from vertigo but that being said it looks great in the background. It’s a nice visual back drop compared to your usual white or even colored backgrounds. I like that you feature a video and that I don’t have to search long and far to figure what you sight is about. I appreciate when site say it’s free and take it a step futher and put information about no credit cards. I like the switch up you did with the lower half of page featuring content that needed clean space to be read and understood. I am not a huge fan of long homepages but yours is well done not cramming tons of unimportant information. I wish that you would have uses a slightly thicker borders for each box to create well defined borders.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I was interested in pricing so I immedialtly found the pricing tab and there was all the information I need to know. Do the other package plans comes with limited projects or is it just limited to the space usage?
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I would be encouraged to use your free trial if I am able to receive all of the features of your site. Often times with trial versions users are limited to the what they are able to use so the users never really gets to the full capabilities of the service. Your site seems to offer everything up front so I would be encouraged to use it.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
Flip Drive: The site is visually stunning and grabs your attention right away. I like that they have a smaller homepage with a testimonial on the page. Users like to see what real people have to say about a site. They have a nice break down of what the site offers and clearly explain what each feature does. This sites even as a referral plan where users are paid to promote the site. That is great plus for users when they get to get paid for a service they like to use when they tell others about it. The prices are by far cheaper than what your site offers hands down. On the other hand their site does not seem to be tailored to business but to everyday user who wants a nice cloud service. Your site gives bussiness the options to really expand and grow and I don’t see that with this site. Even though your site packages cost more and seems to offers similar capabilites, hands down I would pick your site if I was a business owner.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I like that you included a video but I thought the content was crammed in to a small video when you have so many features on your sight. Some might disagree and feel that your video highlighted all of the features your site offers. I might find it to be a bit much because I am not a users of your type of service. That being said, if I was, your video is well done. I liked how your site named a function and then went forward to explain what it does and how to use it. I think that your video gave great information that would lead to the video break down under the resources tab. The videos under the resources tab are great because it allows a users to see what your site can do and be able to watch it over and over. Reading such information of daunting and simply boring to me, so great job.
1) My initial impressions of the homepage are very positive. The white, grey, and lime green color scheme is very attractive visually. The bold statement in the center of the screen gives a quick one line summary of what the site is for. My only negative thought is the box that says “Mobile? Get your work done on the go!” Does this mean the website works on browsers or that there is an app? It doesn’t say anything about an app, so I’m guessing the former. It is a little bit vague to me though.
2) I decided to look for a list of supported file formats. Very quickly on the overview tab I found this, “Manage All Content Types. Collaborate on any MS Office or Adobe doc, Image, Video or Audio file; even Webpages – Just drag in the URL!” However, I was not able to find a list of each format supported. I do a lot of work with picture and video files and there are dozens of formats. Some sites support some and not others. A list of the file extensions supported like .png .tiff .cr2, etc. would be helpful.
3) As a current college student, I am definitely interested in this. I have many group projects and collaboration can be a hassle. It may be hard to get other people to sign up, but grabbing the attention of teachers may be beneficial. The biggest issue for me is the pricing scheme. The free version likely would not offer enough data to last long for me, but the first tier of pay is  way outside of my budget or what I would be willing to pay for something like this. For this reason I would probably not sign up for a trial. By the time I got up and running and others involved, I would reach my free limit and be stuck again.
4) The only other service like this I have attempted to use before would be google docs. Your service looks to be much better thought out and put together than google docs. Projects appear to be much easier to manage and sort in Volerro. If both services were offered at the same price, I would use Volerro. As it is now though, Volerro is to expensive for me and google docs is not as simple or streamlined.
5) My only other thoughts would be a continuation of question 3. If I were to see a personal/student/small business option with around 1 GB of storage and a 20 user cap for $5 to $10 dollars a month, I would be interested.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
I looked around the home page and saw right away that Volerro is an online collaboration solution geared toward content creation and distribution. The homepage has a simplistic layout, which I believe is good. It explains clearly what the company offers. I think the inclusion of a video which can be played with one click from the user is an excellent part of the website. I watched the video and thought it was a good, short introduction to the way Volerro works. The “START NOW, IT’S FREE!” button caught my eye, as I am more likely to try a product if it is free, or if there is a free trial, than if it requires an upfront payment.
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I want to find out exactly what file formats are supported. Sometimes I use free software like OpenOffice and would like to know if those files are supported by Volerro. In theory, I support Ogg Vorbis audio and would like to know if they are supported, although in practice I use .mp3 like everyone else.
I clicked on “USING VOLERRO” on the top of the page, and I see “With Volerro, just drag and drop any type of file into a project and immediately share it with your team.”
“Any type” is almost surely an exaggeration, I would like a list of all file-types supported. Especially if I were an existing business, I probably have some old resources which are in a bizarre and esoteric format. I would want to know if I could import them as-is, or if I would have to convert them to another format first. I clicked around for perhaps 4-5 minutes, but did not find what I was looking for.
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I am encouraged to sign-up for a free trial, because it is a free trial. I can see from your “PRICING” page that I can have unlimited users work on my project which is very nice for a free trial. The free 100 MB should be sufficient to get me started working on some collaborative documents or images. For those who do a lot of video work, however, 100 MB may not be enough for even their basic needs, and therefore they may be disinclined to try out the service.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
OK, I went to Google and entered “Online Collaboration Tool.” It showed me an ad for huddle, so I went to their homepage. Their webpage is confusing and I don’t really know how their services compare to Volerro’s. I did eventually find a video explaining their service, but this video doesn’t show footage of someone actually using their app. Their free trial lasts only 14 days, which is worse than Volerros. There is no pricing information that I could find about Huddle, rather there is a form to request a quote. All things considered, I would be much more inclined to try out Volerro’s services, as they are easier to understand and the clearly delineated pricing plans let me know what kind of financial commitment I would be looking at if I decide to upgrade to a non-free plan.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
While the Volerro website is very good already, I think you could benefit from having more different things under the “RESOURCES” part of your website. While videos are very good to have, some people learn better by different methods. Perhaps a selection of FAQs and some screenshots with short captions for each would work well. I see that there are some FAQs available by clicking “Help” on the bottom of the site, but they are really resources and should at least be linked from the “RESOURCES” page, in my opinion.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
My impression of the homepage was that the people running it want to make it simple for their customers to share and present their work to their team. I loved the video which makes it very simple to understand the goal of this site and how it could be of help to potential customers.Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I browsed the site for pricing and found that it was quite easy to find and what you were purchasing was made very clear. I did not have any problems searching this particular curiosity of mine.Â
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I was encouraged because it was free to sign up. Free to sign up says a lot to me, it says that whomever is distributing this service is very sure that their services are not only adequate but needed. That kind of confidence makes me trust this website.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I visited Accellion and from the get go I liked your website better, this other site explained things that went over my head every now and then. What your website simplified it complicated.Â
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
There was something I thought was missing from your site, something that is always a deal break for me is the comments from satisfied or dissatisfied customers. The other site I visited did not have that either but I felt that it was something worth mentioning. I also did not find a “search” engine just in case there is a word or a question I was searching for specifically…I think that would be beneficial too.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
Â
The homepage is appealing with its large image at the top of the page and the out-of-focus backdrop image. The logo image is creative and something I haven’t seen before.
I can tell the site has something to do with making teams work easily and more effective together (from the four circular images highlighting the benefits). As I scroll further, the impressiveness of the page wanes and just becomes plain text. Would be nice for the colors and interest to be maintained for the whole page.
I see no copyright or phone/email information at the bottom. Makes the footer look like it is missing something with only the four Contact/Blog/Policies/Help links. I also do not see buttons for Facebook or Twitter in the header or footer. For sites that I am unfamiliar with, I like to see some social links so I can see how many “likes” they have, see what others say about them and see how often information is put out.
Â
Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I will try to find out how much it costs for the service…
I clicked on Pricing at the top.
I did find what I was looking for. I see that I can have a free account with limited number of projects and storage, or I can select varying levels of storage for a monthly fee. I wonder if I would actually pay monthly, or would I have to pay for the year up front. I also wonder if you accept PayPal or only credit cards. I understand it is free to start with no credit card, but I like to be prepared. If I get started with a trial, then find out you don’t accept AMEX, for example, I would have wasted some time.
Â
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
I actually am encouraged to start a trial because I collaborate often with different family members on projects such as the family tree or a website for some non-profit organization – that would be two projects with room for one more with the Free plan. Today we usually use Google Docs to share info, but I see the value in being able to email the document to a board – very easy!
I would not be able to use this for my day job as we have confidential documents that I am sure our security team would not want us to store on someone else’s servers.
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
Comparison company found on Google using search term “team content collaboration”: https://www.gathercontent.com/
Similarities:
Found it interesting that both sites use the tagline regarding the end of “content chaos”.
Stores revision history of content
Upload any files
Allows for permissions by setting up teams
Differences:
GatherContent allows for change tracking
GatherContent stores the project info in a structured format as opposed to the boards of Volerro. I think I like a combination of the two structures. Perhaps a structured content within each board.
GatherContent has a live chat feature, but no phone number which Volerro has
Volerro offers a Free plan
Volerro offers more paid plans, but at higher prices
GatherContent has a workflow feature for teams to approve information

Homepage video:
The video screen looks to be cut off on the left (starting at 0:08). Also, the movements are a bit fast to take in. The presenter should slow down some and go through a fictional example from start to end. The video cannot be set to full screen (I did not see that option).
Overall:
The Volerro service looks like a great tool for team collaboration. The boards actually remind me of Windows 8 tiles, or Pinterest boards – something familiar. I do think with GatherContent’s pricing, I would have a hard time convincing someone to use this – although it has a different structure from the borads. But for the same storage space, I could not ignore the price difference.
I would place links to some of the videos on the homepage’s four circular images so users have more to do on that page and can learn more about what your service can do instead of clicking on the Resources tab. Just so you know, I had to go back to recall where I found the videos. I tried Overview, then Using Volerro. Resources seems more like “help” to me, so that was the last place I checked for videos. Maybe change the “Resources” link “Videos” or “Tutorials”. That would make it clearer – no guessing.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
Â
Home Page looks very organized & User friendly, easy to understand.
The Register & Log in option has put in right place. “Start Now It’s free†is highlighted as well. So user has got a chance to checkout the features without thinking about the price at the first place.
Â
The Sections are placed in correct positions explaining the features & benefits. So it attracts the customer a lot.
Â
One thing the “Watch Video” text format needs to be highlighted. When i first log into the site, i couldn’t see at a glance that Video is embedded into the page. Upon Â
checking the details once again, i came to know about the video.
Â
One feature is missed is the use of Social networking in front page. Its present in Contact-us page. I guess it would be better to place the same on Home page itself so it would attract more users as today’s crowd is pulled toward the SNS.
Â
Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
Â
I have checked the pages of the site. All the points mentioned are quite clear& definite. One thing i noticed, i couldn’t find any tutorial /any file which tells the novice user how to use this product step by step.
So for that i need to refer to Video only.& the video is at high-level, not suitable for novice user.
Â
This Site also doent explain about the features applicable for Mobile phones. Need more details on the same as the user is driven towards mobile technology with time.
Â
Â
3) Â Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Â
Yes, the site is pretty organized & all the features of the products are highlighted up front, so it attracts the user to sign up.
Moreover the since the free trial option is there, all the users would want to try the features.
Since the product is suitable for all small & medium sized business, it wold attract them for signing up.
Â
Â
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
Â
I searched on Google for other Mobile App Analytic options.
I have got few sites & i checked out the IBM-Sterling Commerce Site.
Â
There page is quite different from yours.
It’s much briefer, and the look and feel is more towards business, whereas your site is friendlier and Simple.
Â
They have categorized different sections for different information ex:-Features & Benefits clicking which user moves another page which explaining all the details.
One good thing they have mentioned is they have highlighted the Success Stories as well under ‘Success Stories’ section.
Â
One more highlight, they have either explained or given link to each details that their site is dealing with. Although in that process, the page looks more complex.Â
Â
When preference comes, its pretty much difficult. But i will go with IBM site as it looks more genuine & straight forward business.
Yours site is little bit casual but yes pretty much informative & user friendly.
Â
Â
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Â
The Site looks really good & it will attract a lots of user because of its simplicity & free sign up.
But it would be more effective if we can make this site less casual, putting more information on different pages.
Creating separate sections/category & place them in proper positions.
But my final words would be this site looks pretty cool which is there to help the user to fulfill their needs.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
From my first view of the home page I get a clear sense of what Volerro is all about. The information ‘above the fold’ indicates concisely what this site is all about and what the product / service can do for me. At first I didn’t realise the image at the top of the page was a video, when I saw that it was I proceeded to watch the video. It took a little while to load on my browser however it provided a really good overview of the Volerro and its functionality. As I scrolled down the page I could see the call to action ‘Start now’ and also the clearly layed out descriptions of the features. I found the use of short, sharp descriptions made it easy to read through this information quickly. The list of business benefits provided me with reinforcement and a good reason to sign up. I then noticed the repeated link to Start now which meant I didn’t have to scroll back up the page. Overall I like the use of white space and the short, sharp text blocks used.
Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
I decided to look at the supporting resources that go with Volerro to gain a better idea of what this product can do. The first overview video loaded more quickly than the first time I tried it. The quality of the video is very good with a clear voice narrating and clear images. I expected each of the successive videos to explain in more detail different aspects of Volerro and that’s exactly what happened. The same high quality of video provided me with the sort of detail I need to decide how useful this product would be to me. As I reached the end of the page I could see the additional links including the blog, I clicked on the blog link to see what further information was there. The blog is well set out with a number of interesting posts. When I clicked on the Return to Volerro link I then saw an error message so I then clicked on the Volerro logo which I expected to take me back to the home page but it didn’t.Â
Â
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Yes I am encouraged to try this product due to the amount of information provided explaining the benefits of Volerro, and how it works. Because I am involved in collaborative work particularly with creating documents, and presentations wtihin a nationally scattered team this is the sort of product that we could use for our daily work.
Â
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I looked at https://www.centraldesktop.com/ which includes a list of their target audience with pages associated with each particular group. I found the way they have targeted particular potential clients and describe scenarios where their product can provide solutions to be quite a powerful way to convince me to look at their product. However they don’t provide the videos that Volerro does and there is a lot more text on the site. Personally I prefer Volerro’s short video approach that actually shows me how the product works.
Â
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I actually also expected to see an FAQ page link that would provide answers to some of the common questions people might want to know about. It would be great if Volerro could provide some authentic scenarios and user testimonials in the future to strengthen the products crediibility with a variety of businesses.
1. My first impression was that the out-of-focus background image was distracting and bothered my eyes. Other than that, I liked everything above the fold–the tag line, the placement of the video, the intro text, the call to action. Everything was appealingly designed and laid out. However, upon watching the video, my eyes started to glaze over. It struck me as more of a how-to video than an intro video and, as such, seemed too long. The voiceover also lacked professionalism; it sounded like it was recorded with a cheap mic held too close when speaking or with volume input turned up too high. I also didn’t like that once I opened the video, it was hard to figure out how to close it. (I eventually found the “x” at the bottom right corner of the video, but I’m used to seeing it at the top, and its transparency made it hard to see as well.) Continuing below the fold, I liked the layout and icon design of your selling points, but the accompanying copy was too vague to be useful. I’d suggest eliminating “Business Benefits” as a separate section and integrating the more specific language used here with the selling points above.
Â
2. I decided to look for the pricing and easily found it under the navbar tab of the same name. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good sense of how many GBs of space I’d need to use your service effectively. I think it might be more useful to price according to number of users, number of projects, or something else that non-techie people could grasp more easily. So, yes, I found the pricing, but I’d say your way of listing pricing plans was somewhat confusing.Â
Â
3. Probably not, because I know that if I want to work on more than three projects with Volerro, I’ll have to plunk down $99, and I don’t have a good sense of how far 10 GB would take me with your service. Without knowing that, it seems expensive. There’s a lot of office collaboration software out there that’s quite affordably priced, so I’d probably look to something that seemed like a good deal first.
Â
4. There are a lot of SaaS products like this online. One I found with a quick search for “office collaboration software” was HyperOffice. They have an extremely attractive, colorful home page, and you may notice that their selling points, displayed horizontally under the slideshow, are more specific than yours, clearly communicating the highlights of HyperOffice. HyperOffice appears to be a more sophisticated suite of tools, so naturally their site has more informational pages than yours does. However, the structure of their informational pages is comparable to yours, summarizing various features with bulleted points and images to break up the text. I actually think Volerro does a better job of creating white space on each page; HyperOffice packs in the text so densely that it becomes rather overwhelming. But then we get to the pricing page, and you’ll see that HyperOffice prices by number of users, which probably makes more sense to the average businessperson without a tech background. When I hear $99 a month for 10GB, that sounds expensive. But when I hear $7 per user per month, that sounds a lot cheaper. (Whether it really is or isn’t, I’m not sure.) HyperOffice also provides a lot of its features “a la carte,” which is a great incentive for users who need a more personalized approach. Anyway, overall, I’d say that HyperOffice is a more impressive web site and quite possibly offers more value for the money. However, I don’t think your web site compares unfavorably in layout or design. It’s a more basic site and a somewhat more basic service, and perhaps you could take some tips from HyperOffice, but I think your site is generally appropriate to what you offer.
Â
5. I’m going to comment on your various web pages.
Â
Home Page – I basically covered this earlier. My first suggestion is to shorten the intro video and re-record the voiceover with a professional mic. Second, I’d try to make your selling points more specific. “Easy to use so your team will use it,” “get focused on the right content at the right time,” and so on don’t help me picture what Volerro can do for me. In contrast, you have some very specific benefits listed under “Business Benefit.” Could you use the specifics here to make the selling points above more effective? Perhaps you could also use the benefits listed here as a guideline for what you should focus on in your intro video. In general, an intro video should provide a brief overview that highlights how the SaaS can help users rather than going into great detail with step-by-step how-to instructions. That’s more appropriate for the “Using Volerro” page.
Â
Overview – Really good balance of copy and visuals. The page is easy on the eyes. Copy is clear and persuasive.
Â
Using Volerro – Once again, good balance between copy and visuals. But after reading the “Overview” page, this seems repetitive, if slightly more detailed. Is there a way to combine the two? I doubt you need a separate “Overview” page because you already gave an overview on the home page. I’d integrate these two pages into one page called “Using Volerro” and eliminate “Overview.”
Â
Pricing – Again, I’d really like to see these pricing plans listed by number of users or number of projects. I’m not really fond of the small, centered text layout beneath the pricing chart, either. I’d enlarge the text, left-justify it, and add more white space.
Â
Resources – Wow! I’m impressed with the number of videos you have here. All the more reason why you don’t need a long how-to video on the home page. I would rename this page because when I hear “Resources,” I don’t tend to think of what these really are, which is tutorials. So I’d call the page “Help,” “Tutorials,” “Demos,” or similar.
Â
That’s about it. Office collaboration SaaS is a crowded field. I’d encourage you to think about what makes your software competitive in the market and base your home page selling points around that. I also hope you’ll reevaluate how you price your software given the heavy competition. Overall, the web site design and layout are very attractive, so good job with that! Good luck!
Â
Â
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
The first thing I noticed was that the design was simple, clean and good to the eye. It gives me the impression that the user dashboard/control panel will be just as simple and easy to navigate with.
The upper part of the homepage gave me a slight idea of what Volerro is for but scrolling further down made it clearer. I feel like the “Business Benefit” section should be moved higher up in the homepage cause it gave me more information of what I would get if I signed up as compared to the “Powerful Features..” section.
There are lots of empty spaces around the sections. It feels like the layout isn’t balanced. Perhaps more than one column would balance it and lessen the need to scroll too much. I found myself scrolling up and down just to piece the information together.
Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
Â
I wanted to see more of Volerro’s features and went to the “Using Volerro” page. The information provided was helpful and gave a clear idea of what it does.
When I navigated to the “Overview” page, I though for a while the info provided was the same. The “Your Team can be more effective in minutes” section was used in both pages. It made me skim the rest of the page to see if anything new was mentioned.
Â
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?
Â
If I would need a collaboration tool, I will give the free account a try. Before, I only used file sharing websites but seeing the features offered – especially the annotation tool, I think this would be really helpful in having a more organized project with team members. But if I were to work on much larger files like videos, I feel like I’m better off sticking to other free services (like YouTube) since I won’t be needing this often.
Â
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I searched for “file collaboration” and ended up in glasscubes.com. I checked their features and they offer the same services plus a lot more but for a more hefty price. I feel like Glasscubes is more suited to people working with large-scale projects who need conference calling and such. So I would most probably go for Volerro. The essential features are present and the interface seems more user friendly based on the screen shots I’ve seen on both websites.
However, if I were to base it on the free account offered, I would probably sign up on Glasscubes. They offer full features with a file limit of 1gb as compared to the trial/100mb limit of Volerro.
Â
Â
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
I think the service offered by Volerro is enough for me or people working on small to medium sized projects. The file space offered is great and it’s good to see that there is encryption and daily back-up of data. One thing I also like is that all the needed functions for collaboration is present – annotations, comments, keeping track of versions – without it being too bloated. The interface seems easy to navigate through and work around with.
The homepage however may need a bit of fixing of the layout. The important info was pushed down to the bottom of the page. The empty space on the sides made it feel like it was unfinished. The “Overview” and “Using Volerro” pages seem to have the same info repeated throughout the page – these pages could use better organizing of content. All in all, after browsing through the site, I was able to get a good understanding of how it works.
1) Look around the home page – what is your initial impression of what you see?
Your header is great with the video being the first thing displayed. The only problem I see is the phrase “Ready to End Content Chaos? ” has the wrong font color as it blends into the header and you could barely read it. The alignment of your website seems to be off a bit but it does clearly explain what the website is all about. Having that video as the header is great since you have video tutorials/instructions throughout the website which in this digital age is very constumer friendly with it’s ease of use.Â
2) Think of something you want to find on this website. Now try to find it. Did you find what you were looking for? Was anything confusing?
The website is very easy to use even for beginners. The videos are very helpful on what the website is all about and what the service it provides. Having video tutorials/instructions/examples is a great way to show the customers what the product is before they actually use it.Â
3) Are you encouraged to (create a new account, subscribe, sign up for a free trial, etc.)? Can you tell us why (or why not)?Â
If I owned my own business I would sign up for a free trial but since I don’t I would have no use for this application except for storing my files for myself.Â
4) Go to search engine of your choice and find one other company that offers a similar service. Compare the two companies. Which on do you prefer? Why?
I prefer dropbox.com since it’s advises how much free space you have and you also get extra space for referrals. Also the homepage on that website doesn’t have alot of info where everything is cluttered. Simple and straight to the point. Although, I like how you have a video on top to explain what the site is all about. Dropbox doesn’t.
5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
The website name is not as catchy as Dropbox. Which is self-explanatory to what the product is. Your website needs a video to explain it.
