About Wa.ag:
Wa.ag is a platform where people can initiate (work as a group) networking events that result in real connections and opportunities, not just a collection of business cards or an increase of followers on Twitter.
We package the venue, the incentive, the people and the format into neat win-win-win flash networking events with rewards. (Benefits the networker, the venue and the featured company).
At every event we feature a small business or brand, which comes prepared with challenges they are facing, products they want to test, designs they want feedback on, etc. Our unique work as a group format encourages folks to interact around these challenges and hopefully provide some good insight to the featured company…all while networking with others in attendance.
This kind of natural icebreaking format, utilizing the sharing of knowledge, contacts, ideas, etc., allows people to show “who they are†before they pitch “what they doâ€, moving beyond the typical superficial networking, to something more meaningful. It is also introducing them to interesting new venues they might not otherwise come across.

Somewhat. I’m confused between being able to make your own events or deciding to attend preplanned ones. There’s a big difference. Perhaps it’s both. The language is generic and seems more about spitting out the slogan rather than informing the viewer. The best slogan in the world doesn’t mean anything if the product is unappealing, so stick to the product information first and work towards the slogan. Either that, or the slogan must define the product and sell it at the same time, which it doesn’t do here.

Well, first of all, the video says “Facebook, Twitter, etc are great because…” Don’t lead into your selling point by praising the virtues of other products. Rephrase to “Facebook is limited by it’s inability to provide real world context to online business personas..” or somesuch and lead into why your product solves that problem. I was indifferent to the video in general, I didn’t hate it, but it seemed geared toward novice businesspeople; whether that’s good or bad, I can’t say and I don’t know if that’s your target market. If not, you might want to reconsider the theme of the video in general.

Your About Page is written decently, but the message is really vague, and I’m finding that problem throughout the site. I feel like I need an example of a wa.ag get-together, a description of what happens and an explanation as to how people coordinate an event. I feel like I should have been much more familiar with the concept after 10 seconds on the landing page, and I wasn’t. Your “Sawg” seems gimmicky, if you’re going to do it, make darn sure the gifts apply to business and not just random items for kicks. The biggest problem here is claims of features are not being backed up by examples and explanations as to HOW these services are delivered. I keep seeing “Wa.ag” helps you to network, etc…” Yes, but HOW? It’s like a restaurant selling their food by saying “It makes you full!” no one is going to become interested in a service that can’t define its promises. You’re not defining them at all; the language is far too vague. Your blog link is either broken, or not live yet. The testimonial sites should have live links so I can look at who is promoting/pleased with your product. I don’t recognize any of them, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. I don’t know if this is nitpicking, but your landing page looks to be complete as it first appears. In other words, the design gives the illusion that there is nothing to scroll down to; it’s set up to seem like a static and whole page without more information below. The personal testimonies appear to be compensated with links to personal websites. I wouldn’t trust them for that reason. I know I said that the companies should be linked, but these are individuals looking like they’re renting out space on your site.

None that I can think of offhand, though this isn’t a product I’ve been actively looking out for. Having said that, it seems to be an ingenious idea, should it gain a solid clientele and provide a reliable service.
Hope this helps
