  1. 1) Play a tutorial and a game
The tutorial was very insightful and I was able to understand it quite simply. I played the Hearts game, I know almost nothing of playing cards…I play Solataire and I’ve played Speed Jack but those games weren’t all that complicated. I never play because I never was able to understand but the way it was taught here made it simple for me. I didn’t win my game but I got the hang of it.
    2) While playing a game, try changing the deck, wallpaper and avatar.
I was able to change deck, wallpaper and Avatar and this was done easily and without any confusion in addition the characters available are quite cute and attractive.
    3) Which card games would you love to see added?
I honestly don’t know a lot of games but I’ve always wanted to learn black jack just because it’s the one game I hear a lot about.
    4) Is this the sort of site you’d want to bookmark or share with a friend? Why or why not?
I already am hooked on this game so I would definitely want to bookmark it or share it. The reason being is that it was a tuturial that a novice player like myself was able to undersand without any complications, I would come here to try and become a good enough player so that if I’m ever again invited I wouldn’t have to decline because playing with my friends always seemed like something I wanted to do.
    5) Any other comments for the site creator?
I don’t know if it’s just me but my game every now and then lagged so perhaps it could be my computer but I thought it’s something I should bring up but I hope it’s just on my end.

  2. 1) Play a tutorial and a game

I chose Go Fish because it seems like it’s the easiest and most fun, of the four that are available.

    2) While playing a game, try changing the deck, wallpaper and avatar.

The tutorial was really easy to understand and I liked that you have the option to leave and press next when you want to. I changed the deck to the Egyptian one because it was interesting to me. I also chose Number 8 Avatar because she best represents me and at first I chose the Panda Madness wallpaper, but then I changed it to the Egypt one because the others are just too distracting.

    3) Which card games would you love to see added?

I’d love to play UNO and Poker on your site.

    4) Is this the sort of site you’d want to bookmark or share with a friend? Why or why not?

I just bookmarked the site, and yes, I’d share it with friends because I LOVE the graphics. The colors are amazing and you can tell you took your time to make the site attractive and user friendly.

    5) Any other comments for the site creator?

The only thing I would suggest is to have more wallpaper options that aren’t too distracting. The fabric ones for example don’t grab your attention as much, but I personally think they’re unattractive. Oh, one last thing is the chat option would be better if you could see who you’re talking to and who’s online.

  3. 1) Play a tutorial and a game: I thought the tutorial was great! I played Hearts a long time ago, so it was great at explaining to me as a reminder or for a newbie.

    2) While playing a game, try changing the deck, wallpaper and avatar. Changing all of these were very easy! Great choice of the wallpaper and avatars. They appeal to any age.

    3) Which card games would you love to see added? Is “Uno” a possibility to add? Or games like Flex, Hangman, Guillotine, etc? I noticed Euchre is going to be added and I’m looking forward to seeing that because I only played it once and I never see that person anymore. I belong to a games Meet Up group now and one in the past and this site will be great to play in between days we meet. A lot of my friends play Canasta and I don’t play often enough to remember the rules, so your site will be great for that too, after you add it.

    4) Is this the sort of site you’d want to bookmark or share with a friend? Why or why not? I will definitely share and forward this link to my “games” friends as well share it on Facebook to the others I don’t talk to. As a baby boomer age it was easy to read without squinting and a very nice crisp look.

    5) Any other comments for the site creator? The only thing I can add is that when I clicked the tutorial button, I couldn’t find a way to get back to the choice of games page without having to read the first lesson. For example, if I clicked Hearts and realized I wanted Spades because they’re somewhat similar games, the “leave tutorial” option didn’t appear until after I read the 1st lesson.

  4. 1) Play a tutorial and a game

Ok I have started the tutorial for “hearts” I recommend that the card suits be displayed in either 2 or 4 colors, rather than all being displayed in black in the tutorial text. The tutorial seemed good. I think I understand how to play. Now I am playing a real game, but nobody else has arrived, so I have filled the seats with robots. OK, play is progressing…but I don’t understand what “TRAM! The rest are mine” means. This should have been explained in the tutorial. Oh, “The Rest Are Mine.” OMG, I shot the moon, without meaning to! Well, I came in second place, I missed 1st place by only 1 point. That was kinda fun.

    2) While playing a game, try changing the deck, wallpaper and avatar.

OK, I will start another game of hearts. I have successfully changed deck, wallpaper and avatar. No problems.

    3) Which card games would you love to see added?

I would like to see poker added, but I am partial because I was a professional poker player for 5 years. I suppose Gin and/or Gin Rummy could be added. Old Maid is another favorite of mine from childhood.

    4) Is this the sort of site you’d want to bookmark or share with a friend? Why or why not?

This could be a site I would share with a friend. Traffic would need to improve first, though. Is there a mode to challenge a friend? I think that would be really cool.

    5) Any other comments for the site creator?

When I changed the deck, wallpaper, and avatar, the game seemed to start lagging a little bit. When I changed them again, this seemed to stop. I don’t know if this is just a coincidence or not.

  5. 1) Play a tutorial and a game:
I chose to play Go Fish because it was the only game that I knew of beforehand. The tutorial was easy to follow along with, and it worked as a refresher on how to play the game. It would also work well for someone who was learning to play the game.

    2) While playing a game, try changing the deck, wallpaper and avatar:
The changes between wallpapers and avatars were smooth. I really liked how when you changed decks, the cards shuffled!

    3) Which card games would you love to see added:
I am a huge sucker for matching card games, along with things like an uno-type game and phase six!

    4) Is this the sort of site you’d want to bookmark or share with a friend? Why or why not:
Yes, because my friends and I really like playing online games like these with each-other. They are pretty simple and we enjoy talking to one another while playing.

    5) Any other comments for the site creator:
Add more small transitions! It may seem like a small thing, but the more smooth any transition is, the more people will notice them. I personally noticed all the transitions that were already added, but there were some places where transitions wouldn’t necessarily be needed, but would be a nice touch, like when selecting a game.

  6. 1) Play a tutorial and a game

I chose the tutorial for “Hearts” since I had never played it before. The tutorial explained it very quick and simply, so I decided to play the game. It’s a lot of fun! I appreciate the option to add the robots into the game.

    2) While playing a game, try changing the deck, wallpaper and avatar.

Easy to choose; fun varieties; flawless change.

    3) Which card games would you love to see added?

    Rook would be great!

    4) Is this the sort of site you’d want to bookmark or share with a friend? Why or why not?

Definitely! Have already bookmarked it. Will be showing it to my friends so we can get playing on the servers. Lots of fun!

    5) Any other comments for the site creator?

The site looks great! I like the different customization options. Maybe some possible future changes / additions would be an option to change the font type, some place for background music, or even the option for players to upload their own avatars (or for control, have avatar presets that players can customize).

One helpful explanation would be in “Hearts”–I don’t remember the “TRAM” being explained very well.

  7. 1) Play a tutorial and a game

I played Go Fish. It felt really slow, but figured that might because it’s a kids game. So, I played Hearts, a game I used to play quite a bit on MS Windows. It was slow also.

    2) While playing a game, try changing the deck, wallpaper and avatar.

This was easy. I enjoy the variety.

    3) Which card games would you love to see added?

Forms of rummy would be good: Gin and 500. I not a Poker or a Bridge player. And, I presume those games would be popular. I don’t know what other games people play these days. Twenty-One? Do kids still play War? We used to play that a lot.

    4) Is this the sort of site you’d want to bookmark or share with a friend? Why or why not?

Possibly, but probably not. I really don’t want to spend any more time playing any kind of online games. These days, I mostly play solitaire: Free Cell and Spider as a break from work. I like that these can be played in 5 minutes or less. Or they can be stopped in the middle and resumed.

    5) Any other comments for the site creator?

During the tutorial, I noticed there was no “Back” button. That would be helpful.

Maybe a little animation fade onto the home page. Something fun as an introduction to the site. Something that members could by-pass, if they want to.

Is it possible for people to save games, so they can come back to them? I didn’t notice that feature, but a person might have to be signed in to do that.

  8. 1) I chose go fish because it was the only game i had no idea of but that changed after playing the tutorial which was very easy to understand and explained what the whole game was about and it covered every aspect of the game.
    2) I was able top change the deck wallpaper and avatar easily. This was so because they had blue fonts which were written on a black background thus making them standout (catch the eye) from the rest of the page.
    3) I would love to see solitaire and free cell added to the site as they are common games that users would look forward to seeing.
    4) I would definitely bookmark the site because of its simplicity. Everything is basic and straight to the point thus easily understandable.
    5) I think the animation on the site is quite amazing and it provides a certain feel that makes me always want not want to leave the site.

  9. 1. I played Go Fish, the very first card game I ever learned. Before I started, I watched the tutorial, which was wonderful! I was very impressed with how easy it was to follow and how entertaining it was to watch the little characters go through the motions. Demos like this are very helpful to beginners, and I love that users can choose to stop at any point when they feel they’ve got the hang of it.

My only complaint about the game itself is that I had to wait quite awhile for the site to recognize that no other players were going to join me and offer me bots in their place. I think users should be able to actively choose bots if they prefer to play with them or know (as I did) that no one else is likely to be around. (I’m writing this in the middle of the night!) That would help speed up the process. But that aside, I really enjoyed playing the game. It was good entertainment.

    2. I tried changing all three and had no problems doing so.

    3. Poker! Also blackjack, crazy eights, solitaire.

    4. Yes, it is. I could see myself wasting quite a bit of time on this site, and I mean that in a totally good way. The card games are very accessible, and the interactive component is fun.

    5. This may be the nicest card site I’ve seen. Although the selection of games isn’t broad yet, the excellent tutorials and interactivity make the games very easy to get into. The different decks, wallpapers, and avatars are really cute, too. I think if you can add more card games, this site will be just about perfect.

Note: When I noticed that most of the other reviewers had also chosen Go Fish, I decided to test a different game. I picked Spades, and I’m still in the middle of it now. Again, the tutorial was excellent, the game is fun and accessible, and I haven’t run into any bugs. Great job!

  10. 1) Play a tutorial and a game
The tutorial was very clear and easy to follow. I found the characters used appealing and the homepage clearly laid out with easy to read labels and navigation. Having completed the tutorial for Go Fish I then proceeded to play a game of it. The game was very easy to play, the instructions and process was very clear and easy to read.
    2) While playing a game, try changing the deck, wallpaper and avatar.
I tried changing the deck, wallpaper and avatar on a Go Fish game. I decided to use the Egyptian deck and changed it to the Torres deck successfully. I also went on to change the wallpaper and avatar easily and with no problems. I liked the different choices available they were appealing and fun.
    3) Which card games would you love to see added?
Snap would be fun for younger players. Also Last Card or perhaps 500 though these might be a little more copmlicated to create tutorials for.
    4) Is this the sort of site you’d want to bookmark or share with a friend? Why or why not?
Yes this is a fun site that is easy to use and I’d be happy to share it with a friend. I like the friendly tone of the site and how easy it is to use.
    5) Any other comments for the site creator?
I’m not quite clear what the sign in and register buttons are for however I’m guessing that in order to create my personalised avatar rather than being a guest I would need to register. It might be useful to explain this on the front page. Overall this is an appealing site that is fun to use. I also really liked that you can choose to use robots to play against if there are no other players around.
