What is your initial impression of what you see?
When I landed on your site, I was surprised that there wasn’t a traditional home page. The home page is the solitaire game. Most sites really need a home page, but in your case, I think it’s refreshing to be able to just jump into the game.
Â
Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
I hadn’t played solitaire in a long time, so I was rusty, but yes, it was a good game.
Â
Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
I had to search through the toolbar at first, but I found “Select Game” under “Solitaire” pretty quickly. I was impressed with all the game variations you offered, and it was definitely easy to select one.
Â
How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
Cardgamesolitaire.com allows you to jump right into the game, just like your site does. It seems to offer quite a few variations on the game, though not as many as you do. Also, their cards don’t look as realistic and “pretty” as yours. However, this site permits you to download card games, which is nice if you don’t have online access all the time. It also includes some tutorials, which I notice that your site lacks.
Â
I don’t like the structure of Solitaire Bliss as well as I like the structure of your site and cardgamessolitaire.com. Solitaire Bliss has a true home page, which means that users can’t jump into the game quite as quickly as they can on your site. This seems to be the most bare-bones of the three sites. It doesn’t provide many game variations or encourage much personalization of the gaming experience.
Â
Overall, I would say that your site is better than Solitaire Bliss and at least as good as cardgamessolitaire.com, if not better.
Â
Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
I don’t play a lot of online card games, but if I did, I would definitely come back to your site.
Â
You didn’t ask for any other feedback, but I’ll gladly volunteer some other thoughts on your site.

1. You don’t have to register or log in to play. However, if you want to keep score for yourself and compare your score to others, you can register and do that.
Â
2. You have a wide variety of solitaire games to choose from.
Â
3. The visual experience is very nice. The cards look realistic, and you can even choose from multiple decks and backgrounds.
Â
4. You can personalize the game in lots of ways listed under the “Options” tab.
Â
5. The site is very easy to navigate. The tabs at the top take you everywhere you need to go.

Â
1. There doesn’t seem to be an option to download any of these games.
Â
2. There aren’t any instructions or tips for those of us who have never played before or don’t play regularly. This would be especially helpful for the more unusual variations. I’d like to try some of those, but I don’t know how to play them.
3. This may be a minor point, but your timer didn’t show how many minutes I had remaining in a game. I felt a little nervous as I played, wondering when my time was going to run out!
Â
That’s about it. This is a very nice solitaire site. Good job!

1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
Initial impression – well I have a blue topped loading banner that been “Loading” since I opened the page, and I have a fast computer. This is not a true homepage, and this appears to be a glitch. I am running IE 8 on a Windows computer.
I recommend having a true homepage that is colorful and shows people having fun playing solitaire or very animated things that lead in to the solitaire, and a “Play now” button, so we can choose if we want to play, rather than have a loading box shoved in our face. At least that way, if there is a glitch, we can still get the sales pitch.
As is, I get no sales pitch, and your product looks like it doesn’t work. That doesn’t sell me on what you offer.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
Could not get past the “Loading” banner. Appears to not be working right.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
No. See problem above.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
As is, it seems to be not functional.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
I see a hardwood background, and a loading box. Not enough to get me to come back.
If it doesn’t serve its purpose, no. I couldn’t experience what you intend for users. That being said, most computers are preloaded with solitaire. Why go online to play it when we already have it. Your solitaire experience would have to be vastly better than what we have by default.
For the 5-10 min. I was doing this review, the page never loaded. Something is not right.
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
I love the fact that the site lets you start right off with a game…no information to fill out or excessive buttons to click…just type in the name of the site to your address bar, and start playing a game of solitaire. This is how easy the internet is “supposed” to be.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
Game play was great. The fact that the interface is so simple suits this site well because I noticed no “glitches” or “freeze frames” while I was playing, which can have a definite impact on any user’s level of fun. The movement of cards was smooth, the graphics were comfortable, and the advertising was as unobtrusive as you could expect from this type of site.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
I figured it out, but a separate tab that says nothing more than “Select Different Solitaire Game” would have been helpful. I spend hundreds of hours on the web, so I know what to look for, but I could very easily see my dad having to call me in frustration after two hours of trying to figure out where to go to select a new game. A more obvious placement for this option is highly recommended.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
World of Solitaire is much better than these two other sites for the simple fact that World of Solitaire requires no reading or researching in order to figure out how to start playing a game. With the other two sites, I had to look around for at least five seconds before figuring out what I had to do, while World of Solitaire required ABSOLUTELY ZERO seconds to begin playing…I could tell that the homepage was the game board and could start playing instantly upon arrival…that was great.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
When the craving for a game of solitaire begins to build, I have no doubt that I’ll be returning to World of Solitaire to play a quick game or two in the future.
What is your initial impression of what you see?
Upon landing on your web page I was surprised that there was not some sort of welcome page. I think adding a home page with a brief introduction on what you offer would make the site more appealing. Also I notice that there is an option to login or register but there is no explanation of the benefits of doing so. Am I registering to compete or to save my scores? I think explaining the benefits of registering on a welcome page would encourage more people to do so. Another thing I noticed is that the ads do not seem to blend in very well. It gives me the impression that the main point of the website is to sell me something and takes away from the visual appeal. I was very grateful to see an option to hide the ads. That is a feature that I have never seen before and sets you apart. Another thing I love about your site is the many options you have for customization such as changing the look of the decks. This adds to the visual appeal of playing solitaire on your site.
Â
Play some solitaire. Did you have fun?
I was impressed by the number of different games you offer. I honestly didn’t know there were that many different ways to play solitaire. I tried a few of the games but some of the instructions were not as clear as others. I have not played solitaire in a long time so I played the games that I was familiar with however I was interested in other games. I did find myself giving up on some of the games I clicked because I did not know how to play them. I would have found it very useful if there were tips under the description of each game to help me learn them. Also there were some terms I was unfamiliar with like tableau. For the most part I did enjoy playing.
Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
I had no issues selecting a new game and I don’t think other users will either.
Â
How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
The 1 advantage that these 2 sites have is the tips and strategies sections. These sections are extremely important to a new player. World of Solitaire is definitely better as far as customizable options. I enjoyed this feature very much and think that other users will as well. I also think your cards look more real. World of Solitaire is far more simple to use and this makes playing on your site more enjoyable. It is easy to navigate and simple to use with the exception of not having tips and strategies.
Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
Solitaire is not one of my favorite games but if I wanted to play I would visit your site again. I do love that you can play without going through a lot of advertisements. Your site is straightforward and doesn’t have too many ads. It is the kind of site I prefer when I just want to play games. The only disadvantage I find is that I may have to Google some of your games to learn how to play them. This can be resolved by giving more in depth descriptions and examples.

I loved that when I clicked on the site I went right into a game.Â
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
It had been such a long time since I had played, but as I was playing I changed the backgroung and the cards.. I love the different options that they had to choose from.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
I did, and all of the games I got beat I guess I need to play a little more to get better at the game. the website was so easy to use and everything was marked really well.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I played on the other sites and this one was just better layed out and if i want to just play a simple game of solitaire i would goto worldofsolitaire.com before the other onesjust for the fact i like the simplicty of the site.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
Yes i think i will, im always looking for site to play games and this one seemed to be just the simple and easy to understand site that i like to use.
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
The first and actually the only thing one sees and experiences after landing on this web-page is the Solitaire game itself. I found it quite interesting and unusual as we are all used to be at first redirected to some kind of homepage with different navigation functions from which we can select. But here there is the game (Solitaire Klondike) which starts immediately with its traditional layout and selection menu on the top. One can easily change background and decks from there, choose options and navigate the running of the game.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
Solitaire is one of the best card games, so after quite a long period of time I have not played it, it was really enjoyable to spend some time playing Solitaire which I love in any form, with any backgrounds and decks.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
One finds other Solitaire games quite easily in the top panel choosing “Solitaire” after “Select game”. That was the easy part of it. The hardest thing was choosing a single one game to play from a great variety that this web-page offers. I was really impressed by it and did not leave the page until I tried all the games. I think that everybody can find something suitable exactly for him on this page. Anyway, variety is the spice of life!
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
The World of Solitaire has much simpler interface in comparison with two given web-pages. Here one starts playing Solitaire immediately without wasting time on choosing something from the menu. Moreover, the choice of different games provided by the World of Solitaire is wider than the one on solitairebliss.com or cardgamesolitaire.com. The second one, although, presents a better and more user-friendly interface while choosing the game from the list of the given ones. Another thing missing on the World of Solitaire are user guides or instructions which can be needed by somebody unfamiliar with the game. Cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com do have them and here is their advantage over the World of Solitaire.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
I liked the World of Solitaire, so it is really likely that I will visit this web-page to play some Solitaire in the future as well.
I liked that this game was spread out as soon as I opened the window. I also liked the fact that the game didn’t cheat for you. Usually when you go to other solitaire sites, the card will high light when you move across the choice that you are supposed to make. I investigated the options at the top of the screen and there are options to make the game easier for people that aren’t that good at solitaire like myself. I would come back and play solitaire again at this site.
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
My first thought was literally, “Wow, that was fast”. I wasn’t quite expecting to be thrown into action, so to speak. Generally when I visit a game site there’s some sort of sign-up screen and that does tend to get obnoxious when all you want to do is play. In a way, I think it’s cool that visitors can go straight to the game. As an avid chess player, when I want to play, I want to play immediately. So I can imagine hardcore solitaire players will love this feature of the site.
The overall aesthetic of the site didn’t strike me as spectacular, but again most avid solitaire fans, like my aunt, aren’t worried about that sort of thing.
I do like the customizable background and decks( I chose the egyptian deck, fyi). My only advice would be that you make the increased deck size a bit larger. I’ve got good eyesight, but I find it difficult to stare at smaller items onscreen for long periods of time. I think everyone does, really. Seeing as though the site is dedicated to solitaire, which people can play for hours, I think it would be a good idea to make the decks larger.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
I did! I had to stop myself from falling back into my old solitaire addiction from years past. Strange thing was it took me a quick second to remember how to play. I think I was getting it a little mixed up with freecell. I looked through the site and the About World of Solitaire section, but I didn’t see any obvious instruction manual. I didn’t need it, but I think the site would gain a lot more traffic if it had a simple manual for new users to learn to play solitaire because. Small kids, for example, may want to learn.  I do like that  you can see how to play the other solitaire/card games when you enter the select game menu.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
Very, it only took a second and a click.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I think the interface is simpler and the layout is more “no frills” than the other sites. You can tell right away World of Solitaire is a straight up place for straight yp players to get down to business. Still, I did like that the other sites had visuals of the other games all laid out on one page. I also like that cardgamesolitaire had visible learn to play links on the frontpage of the site.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
If the urge to play strikes me, definitely. I’m not a big player anymore, but I’ve got a family member who is and I’m going to send her the link as soon as I finish typing this sentence 😀
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
My initial impression of the site is that it’s home-made. What I mean by that is that it seems like this is a site created by a single user and not a company. This though came to my mind because there was not some sort of initial “welcome to our site- here’s what we offer” page. I didn’t expect to be immediately taken to the game itself. The title of the site, “world of solitaire,” hints that there is more to the site than just one game. I was expecting a menu that would offer different types of solitaire, strategies, tournaments, etc. In addition, the google ad to the right also lends this site a sort of home-made feel. I thought, “perhaps this person needs the revenue in order to run the site.” My second impression of the site was that it was fast! I loved that the game loaded so quickly and I didn’t have to wait for an hour-glass or other type of icon to load before I could play.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
I had a little fun, but I found it difficult to make moves. I’m not a great card player, and have always found this game tough. I did, however, enjoy customizing the cards and the different backgrounds. That’s a great feature. In fact, I think I liked doing that more than I liked playing the game!
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
It was very easy to select a different Solitaire game. One suggestion I have about the selection process is to consider rephrasing. For example, “select game” could mean selecting a saved game that a user hasn’t yet finished. I liked the many options available for searching for different games. I immediately went to the difficulty level and chose the easy games, but I also explored the “by time” section. I also liked the “recently played” list at the top because it would help a user remember the games that s/he enjoyed and access them quickly.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I like the simplicity of the “World of Solitaire” interface. It’s really easy to use. However, Cardgamesonline seems a litte more polished. I like their banner at the top and the fact that their site has a home page– it doesn’t automatically take you to a game. Solitairebliss also has that home-made feeling I was talking about in the first question. However, it does have a home page, and that feature is really important to me because it lets me be the one to chose what game I’d like to play.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
As I’m not that into the game, no. However, I would recommend the site to friends because it is so easy to use. In addition, it loads extremely quickly and offers exactly what it says it offers: a game of solitaire.
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
My intial impression was that I was confused as to if I had got to the site or a game board. A side note: I wasn’t looking at the screen when it connected and it really through me off. That being said your put solitare right in your users faces. I would like to have a seen a homepage with information about your site and what I could expect to see from it. I didn’t realize I could just jump right into a game. I do like the drop down tabs that allow you to customize your game.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
Yes the game was fun. Solitare is one of those classic games that you can’t get enough of.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
It was extremely easy to pick a game. At first I was a little confused between the games by type and the game in alphabetical order. I didn’t realize that some of the game had sub games listed under each one. I prefer to look at the alphabetical list instead of having to drop down each new game type to the games listed underneath it. I really liked how you put a visual representation with every game and rules because I was very unfamiliar with alot of those card games. I liked how you took it a step further and put in the definitions to some of the lingo used in some of the games.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I was not impressed with solitairebliss at all, enough said for them. In regards to cardgamesoliraire I liked how I felt I got to a more “common” landing page and that the game was offset by other option on the screen. With your site I liked how I could customize the board and cards unlike with the other sites. Their site also lacked the directions limiting it to those who are familiar with the games. I like that I can hide the ads on your page which was something that the other sites lacked.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
I think that if was interested in play the other types of solitaire games that your site might be one to come back to. I would just like to see more a flare to your site and not have the game board encompass whole screen. A compeition or a leader board would be a cool addtion to your site. Making your site more competitve might increase users. A comment section under each game board for logged in users would also be a good addition. All in all you have a straight forward site but I think you could entice more users with a competitive nature to your site.
I find it really ironic that I get the chance to review this website because I play all of my card games here!
I like how many game options there are available here and I never have to worry about an advertisement interrupting my game. If for nothing else, I’d really like to let you know what I think.
1) What is your initial impression of what you see?
Initially, I thought the website looked very amateur as far as the layout was concerned. The way the menu looked and the actual gaming experience seemed as if it were in the begging stages of its design. But, after visiting around my 3rd time I’m actually glad it looks the way it does. With all of the card games you have available and the different options you have for each one (background image, deck design, etc) it would have been much more confusing if it were laid out any differently.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
I always have fun when I play Solitaire, and this time was no different. For some reason, I like the Oriental Deck the best… but that’s just me 🙂
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
Yes, it was. The only thing I actually had problems with was trying to get my Solitaire game to pull one card at a time instead of 3 – and even then it wasn’t rocket science.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I like World of Solitaire better because of the fact that I don’t have to ignore a bunch of advertisements in an effort to play my game. The one thing I wish gaming websites would simply get rid of are the pop ups and ads – especially for websites as simple as card or word games. So, I’m really glad that I found World of Solitaire where I don’t have to be bothered, not to mention that they have alot more card games to choose from than CardGameSolitaire.com.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
Of course, I do it already!
1)Â What is your initial impression of what you see?
I was initially taken aback from the lack of a homepage. I was surprised to be taken directly to the game. It would be very helpful if there were at least a homepage to introduce the site to users and highlight the variety of games you have.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
I was not very impressed at the first game I played. Although it had the look of a traditional Solitaire game I was quite distressed when I learned that particular game didn’t play like traditional Solitaire games in which redeals were available. I do think that would be a major turn-off for casual users who happen to end up on the site and try to play some of the games. For more experienced players I do see how this game would serve as a challenge though I think another game should be promoted as the feature game. Once I came upon other games I cound my experience became much more enjoyable and I began to get the addictive feeling that comes from playing Solitaire games.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
I feel the process in which to select a different game could be made clearer. I happened to come across the option to choose another game while searching for the rules for the game I was currently playing. I played two other games and I was quite impressed with the selection and the screenshots that outlined the setup of the games. I was also pleased at how clear the instructions were at how to play each game.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
Compared to other Solitaire sites I have visited I do think World of Solitaire has the potential to be one of the best. I did not feel inundated or intimidated by the amount of games I could play and it was not every difficult to change games as I pleased. Again I do believe being able to see screenshots and clear instructions of solitaire games before I decided to play them were an integral part in keeping my interest and increasing my desire to play other games.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
I would be quite interested in coming back to play Solitaire again in the future. At times I look for a place where I can play new or different types of Solitaire games without the hassle of being pressured to sign up for an account or be bombarded with pop-up ads before I could even get a chance to play. Your site was quite easy to navigate and the game board didn’t feel as if it were too cluttered with unnecessary tools and features.
Other suggestions:
1. The toolbar is a great feature, I believe it was indeed the most helpful part of the site. It kept the interface clean while clearly offering options in which I could change or enhance features to make the board more appealing.
2. While not a personal issue for me I do think the cards are a bit on the small side. While there was an option to enlarge the cards I do not feel it made the cards large enough. That could pose somewhat of a problem for users who prefer to play with larger cards so there is not too much of a visual detriment. While I understand this can be an issue for games that use more cards to play with it is something that can be kept in mind.
3. I think creating a main page is a necessity for the reasons I explained above however I think it would be important when promoting games that users may not have heard of before. While I like the option of being able to scroll and change games as I please there could easily be games that get looked over when they are presented in a line with other games to choose from. Maybe you could hold contests of some sort to increase exposure for all of your games and create a better playing experience for users.
Thanks for the Feedback! Â As for your points:
I used to have an Offline version, but decided it took too much of my time to maintain it, so I haven’t updated the offline version in a very long time. It’s not likely something I’ll pursue.
Better instructions is very high on my to-do list. I’d like to provide a tutorial for each game that walks you through how to play.
Time for each game actually counts ‘up’ and you have as much time as you want to finish the game. Some people who play solitaire try to challenge themselves to finish as quickly as possible and beat their ‘best time’. Others like to relax and ignore the clock entirely.
Once again, thanks a lot for the feedback!
Zeke, that is very strange! I haven’t heard of someone not being able to load the site at all in several years. It works ok for other IE8 users, so I’m not sure what the problem could be. Some sort of JavaScript error must have taken place, but I am not able to see or diagnose the problem on my end. You can also try using a different browser. World of Solitaire works well in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera.
Thanks for the feedback. I’m glad it played smoothly for you. Your suggestion to expose the fact that the site has other games is well received. I have it on my to-do list and I’ll have to give it some more thought as to how best to do this. Thanks again.
Hello
Thank you for the feedback.
I don’t plan on adding a homepage/splash screen as I think it’s good to just take you directly into the game. Even a simple home page or splash screen will cause some people to leave the site rather than click on a single thing.
When you move your mouse over the register link, a tooltip should pop up that explains the benefits of registering. You are correct though that perhaps this could be explained or exposed better.
Better instructions are high on the to-do list. I am thinking about full tutorials for each game that walks you through how to play.
Thanks again for the feedback!
Thank you for the feedback. I actually do have leaderboards, it’s under ‘Solitaire->View Statistics’ although perhaps I could do a better job at exposing this feature to the user. Your idea about adding comments for the various games is interesting. I’ve put it on my list of things to consider, I’ll give it some thought. Thanks again.
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoy playing 🙂
Thanks for the feedback! You have some great suggestions here and I’ve made notes of them on my list of things to look into. Thanks again!
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
Site looks good. It did however take me a few moments to get started. I was looking for a button or something that said “Play” or “Begin game”. I then realized that I could just jump right in to the defaulted game. Maybe a list on the side or top of page showing games that are available.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
Game play was great. No problems or glitches.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
I wasn’t really sure where to choose different games initially until I wound up clicking on the solitaire menu. Maybe there could be a seperarate menu titled “Choose Game” or like I said earlier…have a game menu somewhere on the screen itself.
Not being a solitaire aficianao, I found the game selection process a little confusing. Wasn’t sure about skill level or time. I would also like to see better instructions for these days. Maybe a tutorial. I never heard of those other varieties and couldn’t really figure them out by the description.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I think World of Solitaire is a more customizable experience. I liked the idea of choosing another deck style and background. I do think that a more informative homepage would make the site more user-friendly like cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com. I think cardgamesolitaire is the most professional looking site out of the 3. solotairebliss had good info on the homepage, but was definitely the least professional looking.Â
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
I would come back and also tell others about the site. I never knew that there were so many different varieties of solitaire and would let others know of these options.
Â
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
I think that is a very fresh sight when i opened the page. Cards were ready to see and use.Â
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?It was a little frustrating that I couldnt get past the first shuffle and deal. I am usually a good player but the first game didnt offer any other solution. That can be good and bad. Some like me would like the challenge.Â
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
Yes i think it was easy and accessible for changing the game to any option.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I am an advocate for solitaire as a good pass time on the computer. And Worldofsolitaire.com is a good simple game site for a quick game or a reoccurring game for beating boredom.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
I have games saved to my desktop that I play often but if I didn’t I would definitely come back to play this one. I do know a few people I will recommend this site to because they love playing solitaire also.
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
My initial impression is that this is a very clean looking page. Not too many distractions, and nice to jump right into the game! I also like that just hovering over the tabs at the top of the page gives me the list of what will be under them if I click it. I always like when sites have that feature. I also like that I could click to remove the ad and give myself more space to play. Overall, impressed with what I see initially.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
Yes! It seemed to work like any other solitare game I have played. I have no complaints there.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
Getting a new game selected was easy. However, it was a little overwhelming to see all the choices laid out like that! I had no idea that many versions of the game exist. I like that you offer so many versions, but perhaps a more condensed selection process would be easier.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
First, when I went to log onto cardgamesolitaire.com, my computer protection software detected that this may be a suspicious site, and I had to override that to even get onto it. While I realize not everyone has that kind of software on their computer, seeing that for their website, but not for yours, made me trust your site a lot more! I also thought the look of their cards was bizarre, and liked your better. Solitairebliss.com was okay, but I don’t see anything that they offer that you don’t, and I honestly like the look of your page better.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
As someone who does like to play solitaire from time to time, I would definitely come back to your site. I like all the choices you offer and the layout of the screen.
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
My initial impression on the site was seeing a homepage for it, like usual sites, however, jumping into the game after clicking the link was quite surprising for me.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
I’m not too big on card games, but it did seem like fun from the little bit I played.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
I was rather easy, I managed to find a different game after a few seconds of looking through the listing of games this site had.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I can’t truely answer this, but it seems to be a bit better than the mentioned sites.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
If I was, I most certainly would return, as the layout is rather nicely put together and pleasing to the eye.
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
Cause I am using a slow internet connection it took nearly 15 sec for your site to open up. My first impression was with mixed feelings. I do not like the background as it gives me the feeling that I am sitting on a cold hard wooden floor. Would much rather like to sit at a table with the green filt and maybe a scotch on the side (only kidding) Well yeh after the long download I first notice the add on the side and in my case showed up as Forex. Nothing to do with solitaire but geuss these days ads is part of life. If I could have a choice would much prefer an add about exotic vacations and new places to explore. Forex gives me the creaps and as long as I have to stair at it will never really be able to relax. Cause the downloading was long it showed me a download window with a persentage on how far it is. I think that is quite clever as must of the time if something does not open I guess there is fault with the site and just move on. I did like the old style of graphics on the cards and also the traditional blue backs. Let my mind jog to midevel times with castles, dragons and a huge log fire burning while an old man stuggling through the night playing solitare to keep himself busy through the loneliness of the night. Back to reality great to see the facebook like button and the google plus Not sure why Robert put his email there as I don’t know him. Would rather put a website. Also note there is a register and log in option on the top right. Also kanda baffled why I would want to log in for solitare?? The score bar is nice and clean and clearly visible. All in all would make a stong suggestion the please change the background to something more warm. Well I geuss that was my first impression
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
As a gaming addict currently doing rehab this was an acion that caused some serious damage to me as it is 2 days later and I have play at least 300 solitaire games. My previous old Psoin handheld had solitaire and use to play it endlessly. Kinda upset of all the valuable time that I waisted. Well yeh having said that I geuss this one pass the test. Couple of observations. The Undo move button is too far down and suggest you put it higher up or even close to the pack of cards as that is where all the action is. Find with its current place I had to go way down and as I am very ancious when playing the curser always bring up my utility bar. That caused frustration and I tried not to use the botton. I changed the background to green felt. Suggest the colour should be a couple of shades darker green. Went into some gaming options and got completely lost as there is so many options. I am a simple and straight forward guy so I did not change anything. I believe if something works ,Why the heck go and change it. Of all the card choices the default one is just fine and I was able to keep my consentration. With the others I got comfused.
Also find the ending too dramatic and with You Win showing up way too late. When I played and win I dit not waist any time and before the whole shabang got right into the next game. Would also suggest a backards timer as that is what my previous one had. It give the game a whole new dimention. Guess you probebly have that option but did not care too much to search for it as I play games for immidaiate pleasure and overdo in such a way that I have to stop. Guess if I have to adjust it to exactly how I like it might as well kiss my life goodbuy. Confession, I am scared to play any new PSP or computer game. The chances are if I like it you can erase a month out of my life. With a wife and two kids I just cannot do it.
All in all I love the game
Maybe a last suggestion is to make the curser a little bigger as I lost it qute a few times. Maybe you have that option also if not would be grand 🙂
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
Yeah well so many options it kinda blow me away completely and all I can say It was easy menu but a very difficult choice. Did not try one due to the fear that I will be hooked.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
cardgamesolitaire.com:
My immidiate impressionwas that it was too childlike and did not like the cards they use. Also was not impresed that the game was not the whole sceern and as a whole it felt plascic. I prefer yours.
solitairebliss.com:
First impression was to difficult to get to the actual game. After I had to make a choice, the downloading time seamed forever. The whole feel of the game too plastcic to say the least
This site also felt like the old pacman archade games I use to play as a kid. Guess the hours of standing in a streetcorner cafe is just not for me anymore. Still prefer your game. Also did not like the sound effects of solitairebliss. Awfull to say the least. Like to peace and quite.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
That is a very good question as now I know where to find a good time waister. If I am stuck on a airport and have to wait 4 hours for the next flight I would definitely be back for more of your medicine 🙂
Hope you got something from my review
All the best
Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
I like the fact that there is no “home page”. I think that everyone can understand that this is where you play Solitaire, no need to explain. Even grandma can figure it out. I think sometimes a home page can deter people before they even see the game.
Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
Of course I did, I love Solitaire! The fact that you have so many variations is great, I tried a new one I had never tried before (Scorpion) and now I have a new addiction. In fact I had to pry myself back to write this review.
Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
Yes it was easy. Being a Mac user I kind of dislike the Windows-y look to it, but hey, that’s just me. I do believe the game rules could be explained in more detail.
How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I am not too familiar with either of these sites, but from first glance yours seems to have more games and a friendlier interface.
Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
Yes! I have already bookmarked this and look forward to mastering the harder games.
Also…
The most important thing that I want to mention to you is that when I was playing Scorpion I ended up with a very long row that ended up going past my view. I could not scroll down to see the cards and could not put the card I needed to put there. This is a very important issue that needs to be fixed. Other Solitaire games scrunch up the cards…but I’m sure you know that 😉
I like that I can double click to move the cards into place and I love the decks of cards, and they are not that blinding white that hurts my eyes. Being able to add your own image to the background is also a plus. Your selection of games is great.
One last suggestion is maybe a show hint button? This is helpful when learning one of many of your games.
Thanks!
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
I noticed that it went right to the game unlike other sites that usually make you sign up and go through a homepage. From what I read above you are not planning on a homepage. While as a user I thought this was nice that way there was no hassle for me. As a person who is trying to provide you with quality feedback, you might want to consider homepage. The reason being is it looks like you put a lot of work into the site. I imagine you have bills to pay and would like some type of compensation for your work. This way you can a few ads to other sites that you personally like an get some king of revenue from them or at least a back link to get more traffic to your site. Plus It is a good way to keep your fans updated on your up and coming ideas to the website. Unless you are going to try other ways of getting revenue like sending out a newsletter and maybe have a ad on their. I am sure there are ways you can go about doing it with out driving future users away. Like the first time they go to your site have it as is but let them know the next time it will go to your homepage and if they do not like it they can turn it off and for future uses it will just go right to the game. I do not know how feasible that is but just throwing out ideas. Anyways, I thought the site overall was well done. Everything was easy on the eyes. I really get upset at a lot of game sites that always make things so small you end up straining your eyes trying to play them. Everything was the right size and could be adjusted if needed. Your toolbar was excellently done as it was easy to figure things out and what each option did. I also liked the way you had a option to hide the one ad you did have on there so you could play other games or use bigger cards. The thing is when I clicked on the ad because I like Lumosity, it took me directly to their site. Meaning It did not open up in a new tab or window and it left your site. You might consider putting in the code that will open it up in a new tab that way it will stay on your site. That way if people like the ad they can check it out and there game won’t be lost.Â
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
I did have fun it is what I expexted as far as card play. I can’t say it was anymore fun than any other card game. I will however say, because you had so many different types of games to play, that is what made it more fun to play than other card games. I personally liked that the “undo move button” was in a different spot from the rest this way you could easily find it and could save time if you were doing a speed game. However I did not see a hint button that I always seem to need because I just am not to good at the visualization of card games. Also I am not sure if when you run out of moves, It did not end the game you just sat there looking for more moves until you finally figure out there is no more. I could not see any more possible moves and the game never told me that there was no more possible moves. So I would make sure you add that  way people don’t get frustrated and feel like they waited time on something that they did not need to waist time on. Other than that I would say the game was more fun with all the different styles of games you had. You did a good job of explaining how to play each one. Plus you could change background, card style, and size. So that was nicely done.Â
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
Yes it was very easy. It is easy to find in menu bar and once you found a new game it clearly explained how to play it. Once you found a game you liked it went there right away with no loading or lag time and you could get started right away. I also liked how you could have them arranged by difficulty, type of game or alphabetical order. Once in game everything runs good as far as score, timer, and moves resets. I think you hit the nail on the head with that section because I have no recommendations on how to make it better. It is perfect the way you have it.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I honestly have never played those 2 sites, I usually play offline solitaire games or the spider solitaire  from Inboxdollars. As far as that goes this site clearly beats them because of the options you have. Plus inbox dollars only lets you play 5 minutes at a time and I can never finish the game. The thing is they have points you earn each game basing it on how good you do and it could go towards prizes and what not. So maybe once your site starts making you a profit you can do something like that. I notice you had a leader board on your site. Maybe at the end of each month you can award the leader board leader a prize. Just stuff like that to keep people coming back to your site. I did notice you have the register to keep stats and think that is a great idea by not forcing people to sign up if they do not know if they are going to like your site or not.  This wakes it more friendly to play in my opinion.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
I would have to say yes. These games are great for when you get stuck waiting at the doctors office, airport, long boring car trip, ect. Another recommendation is to get an download app to put on your website. I am just recommending this because sometimes my internet goes down and I like to play card games till it comes back up or if I am not getting service on my phone I can play card games till I get to a spot where I get service again. Plus it could be another source of revenue for you, by offering it to a website that lets people download free games. They can give you part commission from people who download your game from their site. Overall I think you did a good job on this solitaire site and you have many options to grow it more. So I would like to play more, and will be coming back to play again.
1).What is your initial impression of what you see?
i liked it,it was a bit different version.the background was good and it had speed compared to other online games,i think it is its advantage of programming.changing background and decks are likely to be star points of the program.the game seems to interesting but playing it continuous makes us boring.it is good if u add music to the site for entertainment.
Â
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
even though it is a good game, playing it continuously makes us desperate, but it have plus points that it have speed and can change backgrounds and decks.
Â
3). Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
yes exactly it was.it was good in changing game, backgrounds and decks.it is definitely a good one.it gives users a new variation.
Â
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
Cardgamesolitaire.com allows you to jump right into the game, just like our site does. But it certainly have variation, much bigger different variation from our site . Also, their cards don’t look as realistic and “pretty†as yours. However, this site permits you to download card games, which is nice if you don’t have online access all the time. It also includes some tutorials, which I notice that your site lacks.
I like the structure of your site and cardgamessolitaire.com. Solitaire Bliss has a true home page, which means that users can’t jump into the game quite as quickly as they can on your site. This seems to be the most bare-bones of the three sites. It doesn’t provide many game variations or encourage much personalization of the gaming experience.our differences from other site is all other sites have homepage and we dont have.
5)Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
it doesn’t have function for downloading any of these games.
there is no instructions and rules mentioned in or around it,so it is a great negative.
registration is not needed for playing this game that is a plus point.with the variety of decks, backgrounds and different games it gives a new and good variety of game all together.personalization, that is what we everyone want and you who owns this site have provided that.
i liked this game definitely most ones including me will come back to play this game.
Â
Â
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
I like that the link takes you right to the game, with no loading time. I don’t want to struggle to navigate any website to get to I want. This was straight to the point.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
I enjoyed the game. The deck and background options are appealing and the font/card size make it easy on the eyes.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
Selecting another game was easy only because I knew that I had the option, and what to look for. Before reading through this list, I struggled to find a way to play in a mode where only one card is turned over from the deck; however I was impressed with the extensive options available once I did find it, as well as the fact that each game had instructions.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I’m not familiar with those sites in depth, but your site is more visually appealing to me.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
I enjoyed playing, and will likely be back.
i am impressed with your titles i have the same opinion as you.your are good
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
The site looks clearly. I really like the black and white contrast of the font and the font size. This really is important for people like me, who don’t have the best eyes. I don’t like the login and register button, they should shine out more (bigger font size, another colour), so they can be found faster. I’m looking for an explanation of the game (rules, additional information about Solitaire), but can’t find that.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
After I looked up the rules on another site the game made some fun, but it’s nothing I would like to play more often than once.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
Now I discovered the rules of the game. I had expected this to be at the navigation bar. Selection of another game was easy. The explanations are straightforward so I as a Solitaire beginner and not native speaker didn’t had any problems to understand them.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I don’t like the design of cardgamesolitaire.com. The banner seems to be blurred. The contrast of the Buttons and the font is too weak. It’s harder to read for me compared to the black-white contrast of worldofsolitaire.com. Playing Solitaire is not really different from worldofsolitaire.
The design of solitairebliss.com is clear and simple, like the one of World of Solitaire. While playing I recognize that the qualitiy of the card pictures isn’t so good as on worldofsolitaire.com.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
No, I don’t want to come back, but this is mainly because I don’t like the game Solitaire.
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
My first impression of the site worldofsolitaire is that it looks very boring. The background is plain, bland, not interesting at all. It is simply brown and yellow in color with no sign of life in it. No half eaten food item, no shoes, nothing that would indicate life. In the deck of cards ‘Paris’, the King and Queen cards looks uncomfortable, they did not look normal, it was not interesting to look at, not colorful, and animated enough. The hair of the King, Jack, and Queen did not have any color. The black and white sash that extended from the shoulder downward did not look good, it looked out of place, on the King, Queen and Jack. The clothes on the King and Queen looks confusing, jumbled, like the designs were just thrown in, it does not mesh well together. The right side up and upside down appearance of the King and Queen, did not seem to line up properly together that made it look normal and pleasant to the eye.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
Yes I did have some fun playing the game. The screen of the game is large which I really liked. However as a result of the blandness of the background and cards it made it more difficult for me to enjoy it. Switching card designs made the game look better. For example Dondorf and Egypt looked the best. The cloud background was the only background that looked good. Therefore it was more fun to play with these designs and background. I also liked the menu bar, it was simple and easy to understand and I could switch things up quite easily. The cards seemed to be move just a little slower than I would have liked.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
I selected the Baker’s Dozen game, it was not easy to play but it also was not hard at all either. I read the instructions which are easy to understand and it still took me a little while to sort out what I was to do in the game. The game requires deeper thought than I thought it would have initially.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
On https://www.cardgamesolitaire.com/ the words on their site has a flavorful design, on worldofsolitaire however the letters look normal, boring. The yellow drawing design on cardgamesolitaire.com looks unique and interesting. The cards on the site are short, odd (not in a bad way), unique, different. However the cards lacked creative design whereby I saw no human beings on the cards, no Queen, no King, no Jack which is critical. The cards on worldofsolitaire looks more or less like every day playing cards typically. The background color at cardgamesolitaire.com were smooth and looked nice, not rough and bland like on worldofsolitaire. When the mouse goes on the cards at cardgamesolitaire.com it lights up. The game on cardgamesolitaire.com also moves much faster and smoother than on worldofsolitaire, the ace also moves by itself.
At https://www.solitairebliss.com/ the background is very boring, similar to worldofsolitaire but worst, blue in color with some clouds, the background does not look smooth. The main game screen area at solitairebliss.com is very bland, just white in color, the writing does not look good, the cards itself looks very unpleasant, outdated, like not a lot of thought was put into making the cards look appealing. The site worldofsolitaire looks more appealing than this site. The game screen of solitairebliss.com is smaller as well; the cards on worldofsolitaire looks much bigger, better.
On the website https://www.solitaireparadise.com/, the main screen itself and the cards were interesting, playful, animated, alive and realistic. The colors red, blue, brown, green, the people, the concept were interesting. For example on Winter Solitaire you see a snowman that looks alive and you see the snow falling in the background and the colors soft blue, white and orange. Another example of an interesting concept and look is the tree made up of hearts in the game ‘Golf Solitaire First Love’. The screen was also wide; there were assortments of games that could be clearly seen. The site worldofsolitaire lacks color, interesting concepts and animation. The solitaireparadise game screen was equally interesting as the main screen. I liked the background sound in the game as well in solitaireparadise, it added life and interest to the game.
Â
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
No, worldofsolitaire lacks color, animation, interesting concepts. Solitaire is nice to play but at times can get boring and tedious so it helps to add more interesting elements to the games. I liked the menu bar on worldofsolitaire although the color black did not match the game screen itself. I also liked the design of two cards and the design of one background, so it was a little interesting but not enough for me.
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
At first glance the playing board looks like a game that comes with your computer. The visual impact was boring and very basic. The company name is not on the page. There isn’t any visual details or eye catching graphics to help you see its a real website. I like the fact there are no set up screens, no passwords. I really like that I could play the game right away and I love solitaire. I noticed the adds on the sight , but I like that they are off to the right side. You notice the adds but they do not take away from the game, this really bothers me when I play games from others such as pogo.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
I love to play solitaire and I found that this game was fun and easy to play. I LOVE that you can change your background to something that you prefer. I also love that you can change the card sizes, shapes as well as the card designs. I think its a big plus that you can make the cards larger. This helps with people who have trouble seeing the cards. With the options of changing backgrounds, card size, card type you keep the game fun and exciting. I will come back and play for fun.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
At first glance this screen was confusing and I normally would just exit this part and not change anything. After taking some time and changing things around, I found that it was fun to change things up a bit. I think if you changes the background and design of this page not to be so basic and shocking when you first enter that it would help a lot. The page looks very computer like and sterile, I think it need to be softened and the colors need to change.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
Cardgamesolitaire.com was easy to use. The site did look more professional than worldofsolitaire.com. They had the name on top of the page and it was prominent and easy to read. They also had graphics as well as several types of solitaire to play on the basic page, I did not have to change the details to choose a different game. I did not like all the commercials around the page, I think the ones on the top take away from the game. I also think that you are limited to the different types of solitaire you can play.
Solitairebliss.com at first sight this was way to busy and hard to navigate. There are way to many distractions on each page. Frankly I didn’t want to play! The design of the webpage is a bad one. I felt like I would get pop up adds and viruses from this page. The graphics and the website colors take away from the game and hurt my eyes and made it hard to concentrate. This sight doesn’t feel very reliable.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
I really like the games and the options to change the details such as the card style, card size and background. I love the ease of the game play itself. I think simple is better in solitaire myself. I think you do need to add a name and graphic to the top of the page to give it a professional feel. Also having instructions page on how to play the games would be helpful. I will be coming back to play this game in the future.
1 What is your initial impression of what you see?
Inviting, nice wood grain background
Â
2 Play solitaire. Did you have fun?
Yes. I found it relaxing
Â
3 Select a different game. Was it easy?
When you said “Select a different Solitare game,†I wasn’t sure if Jewel Quest was part of the selection.
It wasn’t immediately obvious to me that I should select a new game under the Solitaire menu. Once I chose the menu, it was easy to select a new game.
Â
4. How does World of Solitaire compare to other sites?
cardgamesolitaire.com:
I did not care for this site. The home page was not as inviting as yours. I didn’t like the fact that some of the links took me to different websites.
Â
solitiarebliss.com:
As with cardgamesolitaire.com, this site was not as inviting as yours. It didn’t draw me in as your site did.
Â
5. Do you think you might come back here to play in the future?
Yes. Perhaps at the end of the day when I want to unwind
Â
 Additional feedback:
After I made my final card move, I expected to see a message that said “Game Over†or a button that I could click to indicate I had finished. I was surprised to see that the timing counter kept going after I had made my final possible move.
Â
Likes:
I liked the fact that the score bar counted how many moves I had made.
Â
I liked the fact that I had the option to undo a move.
Â
I like the fact that I could choose the deck styles
Hi,
Â
I logged into the site, surfed around, played solitaire, looked at various options, the following are my comments
Likes:-
1)The site directly lands into the game,no click and redirect or landing page
2)Various options to change the background and deck options.
3)Choosing a different game was relatively easy.
3)I particularly liked the statistics option,to look at the popular game and all other options in it.
Â
Dislikes/suggestions:-
1)Placing the ‘UNDOMOVE’ button at the bottom of the page has made it hard to find and it is not that visible in some of the backgrounds.
2)The above mentioned problem with Stack count and card options.
3)No message comes if I point the mouse to ‘HELP’ button, probably giving something like ‘HOW TO PLAY’ would help.
4)I feel as a player, I would not be interested in ‘Change Log’,this is not required on the page.
I would definitely come to the site,if i want to play solitaire…
I think it is really easy to navigate to the games you want to play and it gives clear instructions on how to play for those who have not played solitaire before, however the backgrounds that you have to select from leaves a little to be desired. The site itself doesn’t appear to be a website. In fact I had to keep reloading to make sure I entered the site correctly. It’s good for those who just want to play solitaire and nothing else but if you are trying to draw more people to your site over solitairebliss.com and cardfgamesolitaire.com then I would suggest you change the layout of your home page and use different background choices. The site I enjoyed the most compared to yours was cardgamesolitaire.com. Even though they don’t have any fun designs for their cards, the different colors on the backgrounds for the different games was enough. Solitaire is solitaire and fun no matter what site you play it on however if you want people to play on your website over another then I would suggest you make it more comparable as far as looks. I am a solitaire fan for life and I will definitely consider playing on your website again.
I found this game to be easy to play. Changing the game was easy also. The only complaint I had was that the cards were very hard to see. And if it doesn’t cheat like Microsoft/Windows current version, if would be great to play. I tried to increase the size of the cards but it was not offered. I would give this game a 7 out of 10. I am very experienced at playing Solitaire and thought it was great except for the visual.
1) Visit https://worldofsolitaire.com/ What is your initial impression of what you see?
Very fast. Nice. Easy to use.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
Yes. However, you should have an option to either deal cards 1-by-1 rather than in stacks of 3, or else shuffle the cards during the game. This will make the game more interesting.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
No. You should display your games in a graphic menu, like icons on the iPhone or in iTunes. This will make the presentation more attractive and easy to click on. Properties of the game can be displayed when I click on the game. You can keep the navigation menu on the left.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
Better. Easier to navigate and nicer screen. However, if your intention is to promote all the games and not just one game, you should have a menu of games displayed, like the bottom menu of iPhone which appears when you double click. In your case, preferably at the top so that it is easy to see. And not hidden like in iPhone but permanently displayed as a top frame. I should then be able to pull the menu left or right to display more games. Again, Properties of the game can be displayed when I click on the game. I didn’t know there were other games to play until I came to question 3. I had to then search for the other games. Come to think of it, I think you don’t need to sort out the games in terms of time and so on. I will, in general, try out a game and if it takes too long or too short, not play it through or not play it again. But if you want to, just display it in the properties pop-out.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
Yes, if you do what I suggest, :). Have a very iPhone-like layout, with the games menu at the top (which I can pull to the left or right to display more games), a thin band just below that to display your webname logo, and the live game below that. The options for each game can be at the top just below your logo. Pretty girls and other distractions to the right – :).
I like that I was able to start playing the game immediately and didn’t have to go through any special steps to get to it. It was fun to play even though I didn’t win.
There was no form for me to fill out that is why there are no more comments. Thank you.

Really nice simple format. Â no questions how to just start playing. Â i like the fact that you don’t have to register to play. Â but you can register if you’d like to have your states saved. it was nice, simple and fun to play. Â
playing the game is very smooth, cards drop right where you expect them to, no trouble stacking, or moving stacks. Â
i liked the variety of card decks and backgrounds. Â the addition options are a nice addition. Â Â
compared to other sites, it’s nice to be able to just start playing, no hassle of creating an account, or collecting points to be able to play one hand. Â
i will book mark it and play more.

1) I was a little taken aback by how you just start playing and dont have to log in and create an account or anything. But overall once the shock of being able to just play wore off it was very simple to use. I like being able to customize the game with different backgrounds and decks. I think we”ve been so accustomed to having to jump through so many hoops to just play a game that this is such a nice change. If i played games online or had the time i would come back!
Â
1.) I thought the layout of the site was very nice. I really like the backgrounds and the fact that you can choose multiple backgrounds as well as different decks.
2.) I don’t know what it is about Solitaire, but once i start i can’t stop. It’s always fun for me. It was very easy to play. Simple drag and drop. I would be surprised if it was anything different.
3.) Selecting a new game was easy, but I think it would only be easy if i was looking for a specific game. I found it to be a little cluttered. I did, however, like just how organized it was. The “by Difficulty” section was especially impressive.
4) Cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com both have a weird, flash game site feel to them that aren’t as appealing or easy to access the game as easily as it is on World of Solitaire. I much prefer the jumping right in feature of World of Solitaire.
5.) Honestly, the only reason i wouldn’t ever come back to World of Solitaire is because i have it on my solitaire on my phone (and on my computer, for that matter.) When i think of solitaire, i don’t think about going to the internet for it. But, if the internet was my only source for solitaire, like when I was in high school and just played random flash games when i was bored, then World of Solitaire would definitely be my first choice.
What is your initial impression of what you see?
My first thought when the page opened was that the graphics were very low quality, almost like a poorly put together web site. I also wasn’t fond of the ad banner on the right hand side. I think I was expecting a full-screen mode without ads.
2) Play some Solitaire. Did you have any fun?
To be honest, I was dissapointed in the spftware when I played the first game. It seemed to perform very slow. Everything from the dealing of the cards to clicking and moving them to another row. Yet, I did enjoy the game the most I could, trying to disregard the low quality. of the website.
3) Try selecting a different Solitaire game. Was it easy?
Yes, selecting a different solitare game, background, and deck was very simple and self-explanatory. No problems there.
4) How does World of Solitaire compare to other Solitaire sites such as cardgamesolitaire.com and solitairebliss.com?
I feel there needs to be better graphics to compare with some other solitare sites out on the net.
5) Do you think you might come back here to play Solitaire again in the future?
No, I most likely will not. Unless upgrades are made, and feedback is requested for the new and improved site.
