  1. My initial impression of the website is that it looks clean and professional. Although I would like to see the yufit logo a little bigger or centered.

It is very clear what this website is about. Under the ‘start my free trial’ button you could add a description to make your websites product more clear. Something such as learn yoga, kickboxing from the comfort of your own home. Stream these classes and many more right to your tv laptop, tablet, etc

The ‘Start My Free Trial!” button is in the perfect spot. It is big and blue. Plus there are two buttons to maximize my chances of clicking the button. I would probably put one button on the right and one button on the left. Right now the two “Start My Free Trial Buttons” are right on top of each other. Besides that the button is big and eye catching.

The sign up process is very clear, and an added bonus you can sign up with facebook! That is a great feature and will appeal to a lot of people.

    My video streamed without interruption.

I would suggest to add a FAQ section. You may also want to get a safe transaction seal so customers know your site is secure.

  2. a. What is your initial impression of what you see?
The website is cute and clean looking.

    b. Is the Yufit product easily understandable? What can make it more clear to visitors more quickly?
You have the general idea in the page’s title(the tab name), it would be great to have that text above the video or under the logo.

    c. Are you immediately drawn to click “Start My Free Trial!” button? Why or why not? What can be done to more quickly lead to visitors signing up for a trial?
It certainly draws attention but I don’t feel like I can trust it, there’s a lot of ads offering you great stuff around the internet, and those buttons look like that kind of ads, especially cause there’s 2 of the same button pretty close to each other. Adding more details about how the free trial actually works would be great, also adding words like “no compromise” or anything that takes away that fear of clicking.

    2) Is Yufit’s value proposition easily and quickly understood? What could we do to make the message more clear?
As I answered “b.”, having a text with the general idea in the anywhere between the logo and the main video would be great, at least to me that kind of business is something kinda new, so I read “from kickboxing to yoga~” and am like “wait what?”.
Having the general idea of exercising with online assistance  may catch the eyes of some people that want to exercise but are not into any specific kind of sport/etc. There’s plenty space for it as well.

    3) Is the sign up process clear and easy?
Well, apart from the fact that there is no “Sign Up” link or button, the form itself looks good.

    4) Do the videos stream without any interruption?
The main video didn’t load at all the first time I clicked play, and I got a weird error “Server not found:(…)”, the second time I clicked it worked fine and pretty smooth. I’m using linux so it may be that my flash is buggy

Other than the “Free Trial” buttons and the videos, what got my attention where the green titles, especially those beside the main video. They’re a lot more visible than the horizontal menu over it, but you can’t click them even though they have the same topics.

Also I think the “Fit Tips” looks pretty cool and should be referenced in a better way in the main page.

  3. 1) What is your initial impression of what you see?

My first impression is that is a very professional site. I would like to see the Yufit logo (located at the top of the home page) be a little larger so that gains more attention. The video is excellent and explains the idea and basic features very well, plus it is the right length to hold an individuals attention.
    b. Is the Yufit product easily understandable? What can make it more clearly to visitors more quickly?
I believe the video at the top really conveys the message best. Also, the “Why Yufit” section helps reaffirm the message of the video while providing more information.

    c. Are you immediately drawn to click “Start My Free Trial!” button? Why or why not? What can be done to more quickly lead to visitors signing up for a trial?
Honestly, I didn’t initially notice the free trial buttons. The top video along with the bottom “Why Yufit” section got me excited enough to click on the classes link, which I did still overlooking the free trial buttons.
I think making the buttons slightly larger and adding a more bold background color will attract more attention. Also, it may help to reposition the one on the very top to a spot on the left side of the main video or perhaps between the two videos.

    2) Is Yufit’s value proposition easily and quickly understood? What could we do to make the message more clear?
It is easily understood and clear.

    3) Is the sign up process clear and easy?
It may help to include a Register Now link or button for those interested in signing up.
    4) Do the videos stream without any interruption?
I had no problems with the videos.
    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.
Besides, what I have already indicted I can not think of anything besides adding a Facebook icon on the main page.

  4. a. What is your initial impression of what you see?

It’s a professional looking site with a warm and inviting color scheme.

    b. Is the Yufit product easily understandable? What can make it more clear to visitors more quickly?

The product is easily understandable from the description in the title of the webpage that shows up in the browser tab for the page. It would be more clear if that title (“Your Gym, In the Cloud”) was used somewhere near the logo at the top of the page to grab the eye straight to the products purpose with ease.

    c. Are you immediately drawn to click “Start My Free Trial!” button? Why or why not? What can be done to more quickly lead to visitors signing up for a trial?

The blue color and the big button definitely draws your eye straight to it. I am put off from clicking the button due to the fact that there are two of them so close together. I think the smaller one at the very top of the page is unnecessary, and should be removed. It would also help greatly to have some wording explaining how long the trial lasts and if it is risk free should the user decide not to continue with the service.

    2) Is Yufit’s value proposition easily and quickly understood? What could we do to make the message more clear?

    Clear and understood.

    3) Is the sign up process clear and easy?

The process is very understandable. A button to go directly to the sign up page would help in getting there for someone who knows they want to go ahead with the product.

    4) Do the videos stream without any interruption?

The videos worked just fine for me.

    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

Adding the title description at the top of the page, removing the smaller of the two sign up for a trial buttons, and adding a link to the sign up page are the main changes I see needing to be worked. Other than that I really like the setup of the site. All of the header bar links are very on topic and value added to see right away. Gets the ball rolling on convincing the user that they need to be a client if this is the kind of workout solution they need.

  5. 1) Visit https://www.yufit.coma. What is your initial impression of what you see?

The site is clean and well organized, but something about either the color scheme of the buttons or the layout bothers me in some way.  The “Start my free trial!” buttons right next to each other on the homepage remind me of those “Download now!” buttons on spam popups.  After that initial scan, however, the rest of the content reassures me that this is indeed a legitimate website with a real product.  I like the logo and the video testimonial.  A video lets me know that someone took the time to make a positive review of the site and I’m not just reading fake text to puff up the look.

    b. Is the Yufit product easily understandable? What can make it more clear to visitors more quickly?

The product was initially a little confusing, as I wasn’t sure what exactly “streaming classes” were.  Are we just watching a how-to video or are we working out alongside the stream with an instructor?  After reading the blurbs to the right and then scrolling down to the information located near the bottom everything became crystal clear and I became interested in the product.  Maybe adding some kind of tagline or catchphrase near the top of the page that clearly states the product would help.

    c. Are you immediately drawn to click “Start My Free Trial!” button? Why or why not? What can be done to more quickly lead to visitors signing up for a trial?

As mentioned earlier, something about the button reminded me of the spam “Download now!” type of buttons you see all over the internet.  My first instinct was to not click it at all until I had read more about the product.  Perhaps you could integrate the “Start My Free Trial!” into a graphic of some kind.

    2) Is Yufit’s value proposition easily and quickly understood? What could we do to make the message more clear?

The blurbs to the right and especially the extra information near the bottom that is separated into key words with a graphic to the side really help drive the message home for me.  The convenience of working out at home at any time you want for about the same or less cost of a gym membership is a great proposition from a value perspective.

    3) Is the sign up process clear and easy?

The button for sign up and the process itself are both clear and easy to navigate and fill out.

    4) Do the videos stream without any interruption?

The videos work just fine with no lag.  The front page informational video is actually pretty impressive from a professional/production quality point of view.  Anything involving the “Cloud” is in right now and should do well as a catchphrase

    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

I found myself trying to click the key words in the information at the bottom such as “Saves Time” and “Fresh”.  I was trying to get more info or examples of each of those keywords and I was a little disappointed that they provided no link to any additional info.

  6. 1) Visit https://www.yufit.com

    a. What is your initial impression of what you see?
The website is well organized and I found everything I was interested in quickly.
I like the layout of the site, but I am thinking you may want to add a little more color.  It is easy to see everything, so I would not want to mess it up and have it too busy looking…maybe just some color in the border of the content boxes???

    b. Is the Yufit product easily understandable? What can make it more clear to visitors more quickly?

Initially I am thinking “Why would I want to use this when I can see workout classes on TV or use some workout DVDs of my own”.   One of the first things that I noticed is the girl in the middle of the page.  I clicked to view the video and quickly understood why this was different.  The video was entertaining and engaging….very nice job!!  More web sites should have this to introduce their product(s).

    c. Are you immediately drawn to click “Start My Free Trial!” button? Why or why not? What can be done to more quickly lead to visitors signing up for a trial?

Yes I was.  I love free stuff!!   I almost clicked that first, but then decided to watch the video to get some more information on what the site was all about.
After I watched the video, I scrolled down and saw the “Why Yufit”.   I feel this information is also very good.   It reinforces and builds on the information already provided in the intro video and answered all my questions.
Personally, I did not see any reason not to  “Start My Free Trial” right away, but then I like to work out.
The only thing I can think of that might be helpful is some type of wording to motivate people to want to exercise.   Something to get those who will procrastinate to go ahead and get started NOW.

    2) Is Yufit’s value proposition easily and quickly understood? What could we do to make the message more clear?

Honestly, I thought it was clear.  The only thing I was not sure about was how long the free trial lasted.

    3) Is the sign up process clear and easy?

    Very easy.   No problems.

    4) Do the videos stream without any interruption?

Yes, but the window displaying the video was not tall enough and the so for example when the instructor stood up I could not see her face.  I am using a HP Pavilion I bought this year and the brower was IE in case that helps.

    5) Please share any additional feedback/comments you may have.

I really liked the Browse option to help narrow the search to choose a class.
I found it easy to use and thought it was very helpful!

I hope my feedback was helpful.   I plan to show this to my husband.  He travels a lot and I think this is especially valuable to people who travel.  Good luck and best wishes for much success in the future!!

  7. I like the layout of the web page. Its very clean looking and I like the cartoon video. The product is easily understandable and I was able to find everything on the web site to help me through it. I am not drawn to the start my free trail button because im use to seeing that on many pages.  I like to look over the web site and see what the company has to offer.  So talking about the free trial is the last thing im thinking of. I might of missed it but I would of like to know how long the free trial would last when i got to that point. The sign up process looked easy and self explanatory.  The video did fine and did not have any mess ups while viewing it.  I like how it explained the process for the web site.  I really like the classes tab.  I thought it was very well made. It explained everything and made it easy for the person looking into the classes to understand what they would be doing.  It was a good idea also to add the instructors to the web site. Alot of sites you will not see that. All together I thought it was a very well planned out web site that makes it easy for anyone to browse which is a big plus.
